Hi Step, do you know who owns Lakorn Thai production studio? I know it is different from Thong Entertainment (that one is owned by Ann right?) so I was wondering if the studios have the same owner or are they somehow connected? If they aren't connected I'm not sure how the scheduling would have a conflict.

Also if the actors are filming 2 lakorns at the same time wouldn't that mean that the studios would have to talk to each other who gets to film them on what day?

PCKNMCPW has nothing to do with this lakorn. Lakorn Thai production is owned by Khun Da Hathairath. For reference, she has produced many popular lakorns over the last few years such as Samee (Pol & Joy), Tang Parn Kammathep (Andrew & Janie), Tard Rak, Wanida (Tik & Aff), Oum Rak, Sood Sanaeha, Sawan Bieng (Anne & Ken) etc.

Thong Entertainment is Anne's production. For her first few lakorns, she has asked Khun Aew Ampaiporn to help her direct because Khun Aew is one of Anne's most closets directors. A lot of her best hits were directed by her and throughout the years of them collaborating, Anne and Aew have developed a very strong relationship. Khun Aew is the regular director for P'Da. This is where the conflict lies because whenever Khun Aew is directing for Anne, P'Da then has to ask Paajaew (who normally directors for No Problem Production, owned by P'Mam Thithima) to help her. Basically each production has their own desginated director but if they're unavailable, they take turns asking help from other directors within Channel 3. However, PCKNMCPW is directed by P'Out, not P'Aew. The schedules are normally talked out amongst the elders and producers. Kluen Cheevit at most is probably 25-30% done. They haven't been filming as much because P'Da recently was producing Tam Rak Kuen Jai with Nadech and Mew Nittha with Paajaew is the director. Simultaneously, Paajaew is working on other projects so they had to finish Tam Rak first while Paajaew is available before P'Da can focus fully on this one. Hopefully that answers your questions Saki.

Thanks Rockateur :) That's a really good background info on the production houses. Sounds like everyone is busy filming several things at the same time and not just the actors. I have to wonder how they juggle all the work but good thing they can ask help from others.

Your welcome! I always wonder how they manage as well. Some productions film as much as 3 lakorns at a time while using the same directors for two of them. Now, I believe Channel 3 has to produce even more works to accommodate the 30+ newbies they're bringing in. Oh btw sorry for the typo on the director. The one who is directing Piang Chai Khun Nee for Anne is P'Oh Krissada who I believe usually works for Polyplus.

really hoping for this to air. I'm really interested in seeing Yaya in this role. Her facial expressions in the super short teaser left me :spin: :faint:
