Nadech and Yaya are officially confirmed to be the leads in the movie version so I'd like to think that P'Off wouldn't cast either of them in the second lakorn installment. That would be such an overkill lol.

I just heard too! I'm so upset and sad at the same time. How messed up! And Ken P and Taew are "supposedly" supporting in the movie?! What?! Poor Taew! She worked hard to bring Nakee alive! And now...this? Argh!

If NY are to star together in a movie for the first time, that's fine. The problem is that they're popular enough where they don't need to be riding off other people's hard work yet they're casted in a movie where they'll be profiting from the Narkee craze.

I just heard about this and went to read about Nakee 1 and I was so shocked by the ratings 
I was a bit hesitant to watch it before as I didn't really like Taew's acting in her other lakorns but it must obviously be a good lakorn so I'm defo going to watch it now!
As an NY fan I'm excited that Nadech & Yaya are doing something together again I do agree with some that want them to work with others but I think they have many more years left in the industry so they have plenty of time~
Hopefully, Taew & Ken star in the second instalment to fulfil everyone's dream

I don't know what to say but it does sucks that NY are playing in the movie since Taew and Ken worked hard to bring huge success to the lakorn. I believe this movie will be different than the lakorn version since part 2 novel has released this year. Movie is written by P'Off so this might entail of after Ken and Taew's character are married and has a child. I think they shouldn't name this movie "Nakee 2." It confuses people if this is going to be different characters and storyline. Let's just wait for the confirmation of the second lakorn installment that takes after the lakorn, "Nakee." Stay positive everyone!

Even their latest lakorn doesn't seem to have so much domestic attraction from what I have seen so far and we know krasae or not, digital or not, the channel production need ratings. That unacceptable for such a popular pair ! I guess the elders are desperate enough to push it hard for them by associating this pair with an already hit work
Those who follow thai ET know that there is no link between the high rating and the success of a lakorn. Even the worst pair of Ch7 played by new actors will have at least a rating over than 5. Most superstar from Thailand comes from Ch3 with "their low rating" as you call. If Ch7 dare to share their lakorn immediately on youtube and have an application to look at it on live like Ch3, will they still have this rating? Most of their lead are unknown oversea and not famous in Thailand.
If you would like to watch a lakorn from both ch3 & ch7 but you can look at the one of ch3 few hours later because they upload it on youtube, not for the lakorn of ch7, what will be your choice? Of course, the lakorn of ch7.
Ch3 sell koo jin? You seem to follow rating so you must know that ch3 has low rating since a long time! It is not just related to Nadech Yaya. Even if they try and make some new pairings with their superstars like James Ji / Kimberley or James ma / Margie, their rating were very low around 3. (Buang hong has succeed to increase his rating at the end). The cupid series are very famous but there are no lakorns from cupid which reached a rating of 6. The top actor of ch3 like Ken theeradeth & Chompoo has always had a rating of 3 until the last episode has reached 4. Boy Pakorn new lakorn with Patricia has even had a rating under than 2. Latest Lakorn Of superstar like Bella, Janie and Pong who has just received a nataraj has had for their 1st episode a rating of 2,7 !! And this is a slapp/kiss lakorn but their rating is still low. What does that mean? Whatever ch3 will make, most of their lakorn will have a low rating or be under ch7.
Ch3 has a policy differing from ch7, they turn their policy to digital world. Just compare the views (OST, MV, Episode) of Leh lub salab Raeng & Massaya is so obvious to understand. All ch3 lakorn are number 1 everywhere in social media, digital world, except rating. Why? why ? why? So easy to understand.
So don't attach everything to NY. Rating in thailand is not talkative. Well it's so obvious and simply to judge it. Thai viewers are the most conservative viewers, especially rural people. They love slap kiss/rape scene/ bed scene or period lakorn where the lead male abuse of a stupid and innocent lead actress, this is what ch7 deliver in some of their lakorn. We are in 2017 and this is what I call very annoying to look at. At least, ch3 dare to create modern lakorn. All big success from South Korea with their drama, what do you think their rating will be in Thailand? LOWWW
Don't put all the dramas on NY and if you want to analyse a situation, do it well because it always seems to be a personal attack towards NY from you. Some arguments are so nonsense! I read, NY rating are so low that CH3 put them to make a movie to increase "something", Well If I see that someone has a low rating, I will not invested my money on them. I don't blame those who are dissapointed with the cast of Naki the movie, everybody has their preference but when I see comment about Nadech Yaya rating etccc with some nonsense arguments, I have to share a full views of what is rating in Thailand.
To be honest, most of NYFC are just happy that they will play in a movie together, we don't care that it will be for Naki the movie but everything that concern Naki since to be talk of the town, if Aof has seen good things in Nadech Yaya, we will not complain. As much as they have made lakorns together, they have never made a movie so we are happy. Now about Naki the movie, if Aof has changed the cast, there is a reason, just wait for him to explain his choice. Don't you think they are not aware about the dramas? They have made this decision knowing this. Press conference wil be held on next wednesday. Stay tune.
To conclude, I know some people here love to make dramas, anybody has the right to use their spare time to do what ever they want but just want to say that you can say whatever you want, the most talented, skilled producer at this moment in Thailand who is Aof and his wife Dang have chosen Nadech & Yaya lol. Have a look on WHAT IS THE POWER OF NY. Rating or not, every agencies has sold their ads to ch3 for Leh lub salab Raeng. It is simply the lakorn with the most advertissement during lakorn break and mostof the brand are TOP BRAND from Thailand. CHEERS lol. Don't worry for ch3 and their ratings, they are so rich thanks to NY!

As long as Ken & Taew are in the lakorn sequel, I don't really care about the movie. Since I don't think it is supposed to be a direct sequel right? That's what the lakorn is for right? If the movie is just a new script by P'Off then I agree they should name it something else!
I thought that this is new though and hasn't started yet.
I think before people jump on the NY-hate bandwagon, lets wait to hear what the story is about. If Taew and Ken are supporting characters then the story is most likely going to be a spin-off the original Nakee where the main lead (Yaya) is Nakee's daughter. In other words, Yaya IS NOT LIKELY playing Nakee herself.
No offense to anyone here but its stupid to expect Taew to play both Nakee AND her own daughter. Have you all ever seen that happening in Hollywood? Nope, never! Whenever there is a spin-off, they always get new actors. Everybody acknowledges Taew's efforts and hardwork in making this lakorn happen but its ridiculous to expect her to play mother and daughter. I have never seen an actress doing that in Hollywood movies/dramas, Chinese dramas or Kdramas. Doing that only shows that the production company is desperate and there is no one else to play the new role.
Remember, at this point in time, the biggest clues point that Yaya is playing a DIFFERENT character than Nakee.
As for NY being paired up again. Frankly, as much as I love NY, I was rooting for Yaya to act with Weir after seeing the two of them doing a photoshoot together from few years ago. However, production companies are NOT stupid. If NY were as unpopular and overhyped as some of you are saying, no production company in its right mind would ever hire them together! The fact that they still want them together shows that there is a bigger value in bringing NY together rather than separating them. IMO this relates to sponsors/advertisers and fanbase that would be willing to pay money to watch NY. Sponsors and advertisers are impo because they provide money to the production company so that they can film the lakorn or movie. NY have LOTS of sponsors. When KC was airing, I thought Yaya had more screen time during the commercial breaks than during the actual episode LOL. Thats because NY have lots of commercials and companies sponsoring them which is a great thing for the production company. That coupled with the fanbase and the fact that, whether you like them or not, they are recognized by Thai critics and the public as great actors makes them the ideal pairing to have for any production company.
