HAPPY VALENTINE DAY TO EVERYONE HERE & EVERYWHERE!!!

So my original plan was to go outside to a hilltop and start digging into the snow to spell out the word LOVE and fill it with roses.  But with the recent cold spell, the snow was frozen and it would kill my flowers instantly.  So I went with plan B and did something simple but elegant.  

I went to visit my sister's house and setup shop.  She and my niece baked some nice cookies down below which your boy here did the decoration.  Went and saw "Deadpool" with a group of friends and it was good.  I got to try my brother-in-law's new mic out.  What most people don't know is that I have taken singing lesson in the past but I have just not done it professionally.  Maybe, I'll upload something later so everyone can judge my bad singing. lol.

Ok, today I wrote a song and I actually sang it with the melody.  The problem with it is that I have not been practicing for a while now so I'm going to need a week before I can hit some high notes.

Today, my aunt presented my uncle and I a chance to join her in expanding her lending operation in my dad's homeland.  I thought about the opportunity and I told her, I would like to see some results first.  She plans on expanding into real-estate.  First and foremost, it is about helping people in helping them set down their roots. You know a place they can call home and start a family. That is the most important thing to me.  The money or profit is not even a big deal because I know if we do it honestly, people will trust and respect us.  When that happens, the business will continue to grow even more.  
 
Now why is this important.  It's because it's located next to my mom's homeland so I'll be just a flight away from a certain someone.  I think in the future, I think I plan on splitting on time in three countries.  In the US, for business purpose like meeting with my publisher and visiting my sister/mom.  In the dad's home country where I would oversee the whole real-estate business.  I won't be running the daily operation but more like someone who will make sure the whole operation is being run smoothly.  I guess my business background will come in handle.  Lastly, in my mom's homeland.  The land of smile.
 
But I'm just going to take it one day at a time.  At the moment, my aunt is going to test out building a couple of houses to see if there are opportunity for growth in that respect.  We should know by next month.  If this takes off, I think I will have plenty of free time to spend with a certain someone.  Like I said, I'm always open to my mi amor.  So someone doesn't accuse me of not being totally open to my mi amor. Ahem. ahem.  (Not my mi amor off course)

Lyrically, masterfully, and spectacularly my ideas are original.
I take my time to prefect my craft so it's unforgivable.
I'm like a raging artist crafting something unpredictable.
And no I haven't reach my pinnacle
But I'm workin' on something that is fictional
If you want a crash course I'll give you the syllable
At the end, you're going to need a miracle
The lesson you're gonna learn is going to be painful and physical
It's gonna be jab, hook, uppercut and before my left blow.

So the picture below was what inspired me to attempt digging a hole into the snow on V Day but it wasn't meant to be- frozen.  With the O as a heart shape, I was going to fill it with rose petals. What do you do when you have left over candies and dessert?  Well, my friend own his own restaurant and a couple of us hung out at his restaurant for the NBA all-star game and this is what we concocted. My friend he made a masterpiece while I've tried creating a funny face with it.  It was a bad attempt at creating  something funny but it didn't look so funny.  You can see the frown on there.

You just can't beat originality.  I like to create stuff with my hand so that it feels very personalize.  It means more when you build something with your hands.  One of a kind.  Oh, it was delicious too.   crazy meets crazy.  I like that motto.

Two thought provoking poems today.  They are different as night and day. 
 
The Fog
They say when it shine, it shines.  When it rains, it pours.  When it snows, prepare for a blizzard. When there are droughts death usually follows.  What if it's not raining but you can still feel the mist hitting you.  What do you call that?  Fog?  What if the fog doesn't subside? Are we bound to be lost in it?  Consume by the never ending uncertainty of being between sunshine and rain.

When life throws a wrench in your path, crack open a smile or two.
Yes, life can sometimes be cruel.
Like kids picking on kids at school.

Inspiration
You know what people do when they start asking questions?
They start doing things outside the rules.  They start seeing things from
different perspectives.  They start quitting their jobs.  They start-start businesses.
They move off shore.  

Once you start facing fear everyday a little bit.  It's start dying.
And you start growing.  Suddenly, you begins to get addicted to that growth.

If you tune in to who you really are, which is an absolutely free entity that love learning and having
fun. And being around other people and learning.  If you really connect with that child self
which is all about having fun.  You would all quit the system.

We have to treat ourselves well.  Because nobody else will put our happiness first. Nobody ever.
You're gonna be waiting a long time to be happy waiting for something to happen.  That's not going
to happen.  You're just going to be 80's and think back and say what happened. And then you die.
It's a long wait.  But that's the disease we got.  We're hoping someone will lead us to happiness.

There are two types of human being.  One of them, goes for what he wants, and move towards
his goals and his objections.  Move towards becoming himself.  Becoming a man, becoming authentic
becoming more honest, becoming a better person.  Everyday, he's moving toward becoming amazing.
The second type person he's not.  That's it.  Which are you?  Become your best self.

Redemption  
Yes,yes,yes.  The good  news just came in the mail today.  I made the top 12 on the national publication I spoke about last month that I entered.  My short story will be publish later this year with the 11 other finalists.  

I am very grateful for this opportunity and for the opportunity to showcase my skills on a national level.  I look forward in working with other established authors when the opportunity present itself. Hard work do pay off.  Stay humble and stay hungry.

My long term goal is to publish my book series that I'm working on and  to eventual write a script for a Hollywood blockbuster like Deadpool.  Next month, I will be able to network with Dasha Kelly who is a friend of my instructor.  She is a well established writer and artist.  She has perform on HBO (major cable network) and appeared in indie films such as Role Play and Mark My words.  I look forward in meeting with her and networking with her especially with her Hollywood connection.  I can't wait until March 5th.  I can feel something big is happening and I just have to trust GOD that it will materialize to something special.  

Oh, this weekend, I'm going to pay somebody big money to get my professional page up and running. I have to start establishing who I am as a writer so I can connect with well established writers and fans.

The struggle is real.  Lord, if it is within your powers, set this heart anew.  I don't wanna keep drifting back and forth.  A day feel like a week, a week feel like a month, etc.  Hear my prayers lord.  I would not wish this on any one not even my worst enemies. Lord, keep me strength and stable.  Gotta keep busy so I don't think about it too much.  Gotta stay focus.    

Please bless our project that we are going to launch in two weeks, lord.  I feel like we did our research and we have all the equipment ready to go.  This is a separate project from the one from New York.  Hopefully, we can finish the gaming app for the android phone in the next three or four months. Software licensing is very expensive but we're going for it now.  No if, and, but, or, or about it.

If I was writing a sad letter, it would be something like this.  But this is not so don't take it the wrong way.  I was inspired by this MV below which was totally sad.  I understood it cause I'm multilingual. And I know a little Spanish too so 3.5.  Plus, I'm not going any where like I have stated in my promise.

I had to take some lyrics out because it seems to extreme, in which, I felt come out the wrong way.  This was not meant as a goodbye letter or anything like that but just an emotional piece which was inspired by the MV.  Nothing more or less.  I have written a couple more sad and emotional pieces but I don't think I'll share just because certain people might misinterpret it the wrong way.  As a writer, I tend to draw from different sources so I can experience some other emotional feeling that I haven't felt before.
