i love reading randoms poem in web or quotes  and sometimes i love shared it  here too so i will look forward to read other people posts 
 
i will satrt with this poem i found in "hello poetry" to Aiden Phelps

Glance behind you,
What you may see may disturb you.

What you once were
isn't what you are now.

It's not the physical appearance; the way you dress
Not the tone of your voice,
the change in your character – 
But the change in your demeanor

You've developed from a carefree soul
to a figure you never imagine yourself being

The lines on your face,
developed from years of hardship;
days in which you endured, prevailed
fell back down, got back up again

Weeks in which you worked day to day,
Just to make ends meet. Months in which 
You struggled to keep up on your feet.

Your past self imagined this would be
The equivalent of a cold, dark world.

In every way, you see it's worth it.

Worth each waking morning.

This may not be what you wished for 
When you were younger...

...It's all a part of living life. 

We eat, we drink, we live, we die.
Pay our debts in order to survive.

We have to live through hardships,
In order to make it throughout life.

 

 
No amount of guilt can change the past and no amount of worrying can change the future

Here's a poem I wrote for my Kimmy fan-fiction, but i haven't posted it up yet.​

Last Rose:​

 ​

When the last rose left standing withers,
When the last petal hanging on falls,
That is how long my love for you lasts.​

 ​

This song/poem was written for a boy I used to have a crush on back in High School. He gave me the advice of a lifetime and it stuck with me until today. I only wished I could've gave this to him before we went our separate ways.​

 ​

True Blue:​

 ​

There are times I feel lonely and don't know what to do,​

There are times I want to tell someone, but don't know who.​

There are times I'm really happy just thinking about you,​

Want to tell you what I'm feeling, but you don't have a clue.​

 ​

But even though my love is like a shadow in the night,​

Hopefully there's a day you'll notice and make it shine bright.​

On that day everyone will truthfully see the light,​

But now all I can do is with all my strength, fight, fight, fight.​

 ​

Even though right now I'm all alone in this dark world,​

You'll always be the shining star leading me forward.​

No matter what path you'll be leading me toward,​

I'll keep believing, going, I won't be a coward.​

There are times I wonder if I will ever make it through,​

There are times I wonder if there are things I never knew.​

There are times when I don't see you're smile and it makes me blue.​

I wonder, I wonder, do you have these feelings too?​

Because I believe in what you say,​

life's about creating new paths, not finding your way.​

Because I believe no matter how far,​

Thanks. Yes I still write poems, just not as good as back then, because I don't write as much as before so i lost my spice in writing.

You're smile is the sun, brighter than daylight.​

This is not about me but I tried putting my shoes on a single parent for a change.  No offense to anyone.  Just wanted to write an emotional piece.  Thanks.

The kids are crying as they watch you leave with Steve
River of tears coming down with no end no relief.
Everyone was blindsided with your story, your deceit
The kids cries as they see you climb into the backseat

Brandon is 8, Kelly is 6, and Jake is four
They ask questions in which I have no answers for
Trying to stay positive and make sense of things as I close the door.
Negative thoughts run through my mind, slut, tramp, whore
But I gotta stay positive for my kids, my love, my life, my core.

9 to 5 everyday struggling to put food on the table
2 years pass, the kids are doing well, and their grades are stable
Brandon just won an award, superintendent presented on Cable
Jake and Kelly my love, my life, my two beautiful angels.
Both are at the top of their respective class and continue to grow.
 

Thanks for the love, the tears, the joy, and the heartbreak
Thanks for the scars, for the quakes, and the life altering shakes
Heaven smiling down, the white pure dove soaring, GOD never forsakes
It's to late, the kids don't even want you, it was your mistakes
As for me, I have forgiven you a long time ago, even if you're a lying snake.

thank you for sharing this it's  a sad story but it's a story we see everywhere around us

Oh man, i'm running out of likes. How many likes can you make in a day anyway? 
 
I used to write poems regularly, more than 10 years ago. Somehow, about 80% is about unrequited love. I don't even know why.  :scratchhead2: .  Now my poems are just... well, contemplative? (but actually they're just really vague   :lolyup
 
Here's a tanka which I made for a fanfic I wrote for an anime (Otome Youkai Zakuro) more or less three years ago. 
 

As autumn draws near,​

the maple leaves turn crimson. 
With soundless echoes,​

they shall all fall together​

Joining in blissful silence. ​
