I do wish this one was being subbed because I can only understand maybe 20%. Regardless, it’s still good so far! I can’t get over Alex’s dimples. That’s what caught me in the first place. :icon12:

I love Lek so much in here! The way he looks at Nychaa makes my heart melt. It's so sad that she doesn't show her feelings to Lek. I really like this lakorn so far.

But Prim and Care are so annoying. I'm also not a fan of Ying Jan's choice of clothing at times.

Same here! I melt every time he smiles at her. I can’t help it. They’re chemistry isn’t bad. Still not really digging the opera stuff but that can be tolerated.

I’ll have to agree about Ying Jan’s character. She’s such an oddball imo. && i don’t really like the preppy attitude all of the ladies in the household have.

Mee too dear. This drama is great someone should sub this. Eventhough just by watching the characters face, intonation and stuff i can already tell what was going on. But still, need sub since thai is not my first language :crybaby2:

Same here. I understand the basics and including the facial expression I know what is going on. It's just when they get into deep conversations, ex: Bua talking with her Dad I want to be able to know. It's okay though! Let's me learn more words :)

I watched the three Ost videos and there are so many tearful scenes between Bua and Thi. His family are a bunch of bullies. I hope they move out asap into their little love shack so they don't have to deal with the crazies.

I have yet to fully watch the 3rd one but I feel the same way. Their scenes alone look great but everyone else barging in makes it all even worse. I can’t wait to see what Bua & Thee decide on doing!

So I get that Thee is a good person and he's sincere in his attraction to Bua and he's better than his family, but I'm at the point where I'm rooting for him to be out of Bua's life because his family is hurting hers so nuch.

Right, they are just so mean to her. It's so sad! She doesn't deserve it at all. I'm watching here and of the episodes. Nobody in his family really likes her huh?

Too bad there is not much activity on this thread because I absolutely love this drama. I just started it last weekend and I am hooked!! At first I didn't know what to expect, since I never saw the previous versions. I was afraid that there might be too much focus on the Chinese opera aspect of the storyline, but after the first episode, I was happy to realize that it was characters' love for one another that took center stage.

Alek and Nychaa are wonderful in these roles and I love their characters so much! Chayuthi is a strong romantic man who's not afraid to say "I love you", heck he can't stop saying it to Bua! I love it that he won't let his family's prejudice dictate how his heart should feel and he makes it clear to them that she's the only woman for him. As for Bua, I love her as well. Some may see her as weak, but I find her as a very strong character. It's easy to give up and just leave, but it takes a strong person to stay and endure all the hate his family throws at her. She perseveres out of gratitude and love for him. It's not until their fight, when she felt he no longer believes in her that causes her to leave.

Yes, I love this drama and I love how the setting, wardrobe, music, and cinematography all work to bring Bua and Thi's love story to life. Also, I love the minimal makeup on Nychaa. It adds realness to her character in that even in her plainness, Bua is able to capture Thi's heart.

As for the latest episode 8, I loved it!! We needed the sweet scenes after all the intensity from the previous episode. I can't decide if I loved the scene of Thi watching Bua sleep or their kiss scene more. He looked so cute smiling to himself while he watched and marveled at being close to the woman he loves. Alek's facial expressions were perfect! His smile and dimples made the scene that much more adorable. As for the ending scene, I loved everything about it, the moon, the fireflies, the music, and the buildup leading to the kiss was perfect in making their first kiss so memorable. Their love for one another glowed just as bright as the moon they kissed under. Also I do love the moment when after Bua got annoyed with trying to convince Thi that she loves him and he tells her that he already believed that she loved him ever since he laid eyes on her at the opera house.

Also, not only have the ratings gone up for this drama, but it also trended on Thai Twitter for the last two episodes. Can't wait to see the next episode! We've yet to see them consummate their marriage.

Agreed, Thi is very cute whenever he admires Bua. He is very rak dieow jai dieow.

For a while, I almost had second lead syndrome because Gerng is also very sincere and respectful in his love for Bua. And I like that they both care about each other deeply and understand each other very well. It wasn't meant to be though.

I like Nycha in here very much. She has grown in her acting and the roles are fitting her more and more.

Nychaa has improved and I like her in this role. She pulled it off. I'm tuning in more now that they have moved out hehe.

I can’t believe it’s ending this week though! Everything was just getting so good. I usually can never finish a Lakorn w/o subtitles even if I really try but this one has me hooked. I’m really digging Gerng and Nopp’s relationship despite the fact that he kidnapped her. I LOL’ed when all the villagers believed she’s his wife bc he kissed her in front of them. Like uhh... I don’t know if that’s enough justification lol but its a Lakorn. With that being said, how did these 2 end up w/ way more kissing scenes then the actual leads?!? I guess it’s okay though because the kiss scene for Bua and Thi was more genuine and sincere. Now I’m more excited to see the next 2 episodes!! The pics on IG are such a tease.
