I've actually watched this drama since it began, just fell behind with the last 4 episodes. Finally found time to finish it today and I surely wasn't dissapointed.
Mostly with what everyone has said, I think you're missing the point. Once I got into the middle (around episode 10), I began realizing that the love story is just a play on the side. It's a pretty big point, but it's not the main message of the drama. If you were to look at the story again, our most important characters would only be Eunjo, Hyosun, and the father. The father's role is a huge one, you just have to think about it. I really love how he was portrayed, but then again, the classic Cinderella father has always been known as a good person.
This drama was about growing as a person. You can really depict the changes from then to now with our 2 sisters. I realized that I was most interested in their relationship. It's rocky most of the time, but Hyosun's love through it all shows her sweetness and good heart. It was really meaningful whenever they had their own calm and alone time conversations (towards the end anyway). I cried a lot with their talks. & whenever Eunjo was with her step-dad as well. He spoke a lot with just his eyes, he was so perfect to play the father role. He's a really good man.
I forgot that Taec would be a part of this drama too. He is such a good boy. I like his soft heart, but a nice serving
person like him is always the 2nd guy. :/ I was really shocked when Jungwoo was brought back into the story, played (now) by Teacyeon. I absolutely loved that idea.
And the idea of narrations (mostly done by Eunjo) was brilliant. I didn't think much of it at first, but towards the end I realized how much more powerful it made the script.
I have so much more to say but I really don't wanna spoil anything for those of you who are still interested in watching it all.
