I think all the entertainers needs to be careful since they are selling their own personal lives (on IG, Snap, etc). Add that to everyone having video that can catch them if they misbehave...they really need to be "on" all the time.Yeah there's some contribution of that, I notice. Thai viewers still can't separate professionalism from personal. Kim's so good with acting- perhaps the best among her peers- but rarely receive a good script unless P'Anne proposes. I feel bad- well terrible for Kim.
Janie is another victim of such social criticism. She married to a wrong man and her acting career sank regardless of how good she is as an actress!
Kim is very talented. I thought she was the best when she first came out in the series but she was not polish. I am sure being in the same group with funny Margie and angel cutie Yaya... it must have been hard. I also thought she was dating Jet to get ahead in the industry (I am not the only one) and doesn't look good on a young actress to go on trips (to Japan, etc) with the guy (we all know they "do it" but Thai audience loves to keep their idols innocent) and yeah... also because it wasn't pretty when it ended.
Personally, I was more disturbed about the sneaking around part. She should have just end with one guy to start with another..it's ok to find a new love. It's life. It happens. Now she is always going to be remember as the "cheater".
As for Janie, I love her (grew up watching her lakorns) and I feel sorry that her career is going down. It's not just because of who she married but many things (he is husband of one of the industry icons and father of her friend. I found it so gross) and after divorce (being so blatant about her new boy toy in the US... I was really turned off with the attitude. Trying too hard. She just regained my respect with her new gym because she had a drive in her and she works really hard.)
I am in the US so I look for lakorn story lines. I will always give it a try like this one if I think it's gonna be good. Thais are different. They care about their idol being a good "role model". That's why Nadech and Yaya are so popular. James is good too. I just adore him now because I know he worked really hard to where he is today. It was not an easy road. He has been criticized since he got in that he is not p'ek material. Now he is proving himself that he is a really good actor. Really really good actor.
Wow... I wrote so much. I can write more but I'll stop with one last thought: In Asia, FC matters, your manners matter, your charity matters, endorsements matter....so TV Ratings are not always what success is measured on. There are so many other factors these days like the social media buzz, downloads, DVD sales, etc. Ratings are for advertisers...so if it's a young brand, ratings of 5.8 is NOT an issue. James is very much in demand these days. He is starting to be known as (actor that break the mall) because of the fans. Nadech has that title for a while now too.
opps, I lied. One more thought. If this lakorn was not with P'Ann's production, it might not get this buzz....but P'Ann is also one of the problems with the Thai ET. She is doing so many remakes (I am so tired of them) and she sticks to same actresses(a lot of Kim). I want her to work with some other actresses too. Mew, Taew, Nycha, Namtan to name a few. I am P'Ann's fan so I want to see her grow as a producer. I couldn't finish any of her lakorns (yes, even Samee Tee Tra. I skipped alot on that one) but this KimJa lakorn, I can't get enough. She did so good casting James here. He is refreshing.

Kim is such a good actress and i like her from 4HHKK...I just skip Suer and the one with Boy because I dont like Boy. I guess that her luck is not there now even her acting for me is better than Yaya. Actually when actresses facing damaging issues gossip ..people then to be more strict on them. People tend to judge and punish without finding the proof. No matter whether the idol is Thai, Korean or whatever. Sad for Kim. For me Kim issues is not that big compared to Boy, Mike etc. Why people don't punish the actors?

I don't care for the off-screen gossips.
Kim is one of the best in looks and talent. Have watched most of her shows and she is good in all.
James is a natural, watching him for the first time and he has style and gets the nuances of Wat so well. I can't imagine anybody else delivering Wat like this.

I skipped the mafia show too, didn't like the hero, thoroughly enjoyed Kim & Boy. honestly i dont hope for many real kiss in this lakorn...coz being lakorn as lakorn it is they still can film real kiss scene like what we see in korean or japanese series..thai lakorn still have custom and manner that they need to obey..from the teaser and the progress of the drama that have gone halfway already i think the only kisses we will get to see is fake kiss, cheek kiss and forehead kiss, if it has real kiss i think for one and two scenes only..the rest will be fake kisses..skinship might be real but to see many real kisses scene hurm quite hopeless.. i wanted the willing scenes to be hot and quite real not just 10 seconds kiss and then cut..but i dunt know....
