Agree, I can definitely see how he has improved, working with the elder generation cast and Matt was a good thing for him. At least he's improving unlike Bomb the Tomb lol.

To me the highlight of today's episode was "James Ma's Comeback"

I'm watching this right now. Doesn't James speak perfect English? Haha. His accent sounds fake. Haha. So far the quality looks good. They have a lot of extras, they must've spent a fortune on those actors/actresses. Haha. I don't care how expensive, I like that there are a lot of people, feels more real. Hehe.

Savitree looks really good in here for some reason. I think it's the outfit because it looks really good on her. Hehe. Now where is Matt?!? Haha.

What??? Next episode. Urgh. Haha. They're pulling a 90's show on us, make the pra'nangs meet as late as possible. Haha. I'm cool with that. I prefer that to meeting the instant they appear on screen. I like the prolonged meeting, makes you wanna see more.

Overall thoughts: I like the scenery. The cast is great. The feel is realistic. The pace was nice. Not too bad for the first episode. I understood everything right off the bat. It wasn't confusing, as some historical lakorns can be. I like the fact that n'ek was still young and hasn't grown up. It shows depth to her character as she transitions into being a woman.
 
James is good in his fighting scenes. I was afraid it would look awkward. Not a lot of p'eks are good in action fighting scenes. Looks like he trained pretty well for those scenes. I kept staring at his arm muscles. LOL
 
I have a feeling that the creepy Khoun Louang Salahart is going to be the instigator to Haym's family downfall. What a jerk from the beginning. In the preview it was funny that he was manhandled by Haym HAHAHA and then he goes tattle tailing to Haym's father. What a baby.
