Off & Mild are an unlikely pairing. I was surprised to see Mek also there.

I'm looking forward to Singto's storyline. That was the most interesting one to me. Hopefully, I don't get disappointed with it like TLTR.

Kao, I will be skipping. Saw him on The Face, and he totally turned me off.

I felt like he was an instigator and started drama. Also felt like the person who won under him, only won because of Kao's popularity. The guy basically got to the end, because another teammate carried the team and got eliminated because he was too much of a threat to the other teams.

While Kao's performance as a coach was good compared to other actors on The Face, his personality and behavior towards the coaches just felt slimey to me. Toni kinda lost my respect for him as a coach on it, too. I used to really look forward to any drama Toni would be in, but after The Face, him being in a drama isn't a big factor for me to watch it anymore.

Peach is the only actor on there who I felt really cared about the people he was coaching and wasn't just in it for himself.

GMM has this "teen" feel to most of their lakorn even when the setting does not place in a school.

I like Mild very much so I will most likely only watch her part.

^ Yeah, that's their main market. Even their late 20's actors can pass off as university students.

That's why it's great that the GMMTV kids are being considered for supporting roles in GMM25 dramas to serve as their training ground. (It helps that they have the same boss.) They need to show growth in their acting chops, and can't forever be going after the teen/young adult market. Imagine OffGun being in their 30's (both of them in 2-3 years' time) and still doing BL roles. That'll be a disservice especially to Gun who's an award-winning actor.

Also they need more veteran actors with cred in their dramas. "WHO ARE YOU?" for instance will have a roster of veteran actors (Kik, Um Apasiri, Noom S, Kob Songsit) that should help the kids be challenged and keep up. Makes me think that it kinda sucks that GMMTV and One31 appears to have "severed" ties, coz they could loan actors into each other's projects.

I guess that is why most of GMM lakorn does not appeal to me lol I am passed their target group. But then again, I still watch a lot of teen and youthful drama from other countries... I guess Thailand is just not my cup of tea when it comes to young adult content.

I'm just excited to see Off-Mild pairing because they are both actors that I really like. And Singto's story seems interesting to me. It's also the first time Jamie plays as a lead so I would love to see how she does in that role.
Looks like it's also her first time to play a nice role. She's been nasty in most of her previous roles.

Hahahaha, so a news outlet picked up that fake news post in Pantip about Singto moving to Channel 7?!?!?!

Anyway, based on the same article, Singto-Jamie will start around late March/early April. So there should be 4-5 episodes per pair.

I started watching the first part already, and I miss this kind of series from GMMTV. And I'm also probably waaay outside their target market BTW hahahaha.

I liked the first episode with Mook and Toyy. It's got the "classic" GMMTV feels, plus even if we know that Mook and Toyy are the ones being shipped here, Fluke has that chemistry with Mook.

There are only a few characters, plus the characters in the other stories making their "cameos", so no overshadowing and overloading that has been a pet peeve in many of their dramas with ensemble casting.

I honestly think I'm too used to Toyy in adult, more serious dramas like Club Friday & the one with Pearwah. So watching him here felt different for me. I like Fluke's character. Although I've liked Mook ever since her drama with Push, I'm not feeling her character in this one yet. It's too "damsel in distress" without the personality of Ugly Duckling.

The 4th girl is really pretty! Tempting to watch hers but Kao, meh.

The Face is a scripted reality TV so I just watch the bickering part esp Jakjan vs ArtBina

^ Not this Sunday, but the next one. Would have been great to see Singto in another straight role just a week after TLTR ended, but hope it's worth the wait haha.

I finished Episode 1 of Singto-Jamie, and I love Singto/Tan/DJ Titan's sassiness x charisma.

Regardless of the gender of his onscreen partner, Singto is such a charmer. I think I'm hooked at this so far, compared to Mook-Toyy.
