Me too! She generally can act but she’s also close with many producers, which is why I think she got good roles. But I think it’s cos of age factor. Younger n’ek coming up in the channel to fight for roles with.

I saw online rumours of this a couple of weeks earlier. Seeing this confirmed, I guess the other rumour I saw should be true too. Margie also didn’t renew her contract.

I wish 1hd used more freelance actors and do more lakorns. Their scripts has been decent the past 2 yrs....I don't need sub...but they provide eng sub on their yt ch

She did, but moving forward I think the older actors will likely age out of p’ek & n’ek roles and be moved to supporting roles. If you’re going to get less key roles then might as well go freelance - you work at same frequency but earn more compared to being on contract, if I’m not wrong.

I get what you're saying, but she wasn't getting less key roles. I also understand wanting to leave because of "potential " of less ....my point is she was in good standing. Gmmtv is ok with versatile roles, but they don't have good scripts. They are too focus on BL and now branch on GL.



Last year I seen 3 lakorn...4? For me ...that is a lot considering....I maybe enjoy 1-2 lakorn a year...maybe....

Surprised Toey is leaving...she has been getting a lot of roles even when she just supporting. When she got moved to n'ek...she was getting top pra'eks. But every channels will be getting more young people coming in and older ones will have to find a way to stay or move on.

Saw this interview with Got Jirayu and thought it was quite interesting:

I think Got is a good example of the type of artist that Thai ent media won’t like. He’s describing future plans about his career and seems quite clear that he plans to fade away from showbiz in the future. He likes the creative side of working in the industry, but dislikes the showbiz aspect. To most people, especially those who don’t know him, Got will come across as pretentious here. But I really understand this way of thinking. Showbiz is super exhausting to deal with. There’s a lot of artifice/fake, not knowing who you can trust.

Wow you guys read my mind, I literally was just googling if she became freelance since I was looking at what her future work was after finishing To the Moon and Back which I enjoyed for the most part

I always thought she was cute, and a good actress. Like everyone says she usually got lucky with the work she got put in as supporting and then when she was lead, she managed to work with the more popular leading men. Was always interesting how close she was with Ken and his wife plus their kids haha so I guess connections does help too like everyone pointing out her knowing alot of directors/ producers

Guess she'll keep getting lucky with that seeing how her first short drama outside Ch 3 is with Win who seems to be one of the hottest up and coming young stars.

I just happened to see that on my IG feed at the same time as I saw her on a GMM event. She’s a good actress. But I don’t feel like she has the typical n’ek look. I feel like her closeness with producers pushed her to get n’ek roles. otherwise I could easily see her constantly being a good supporting actress that always gets cast in Ch3, e.g. Pear Pitchapa, Maprang. Good actresses, always get roles but forever as supporting.

I thought she was supposed to work with Nine Naphat as well but I guess that’s not happening now.

Speaking of whom, I have tried, but I don’t get the appeal of Nine other than he’s good-looking? His acting doesn’t really feel up to the mark IMO.

@nat12 lol I think Nine's appeal is just that he's one of the more masculine pek at his age

His acting is kind of eh to me but he's tall, strong, deep voice-- gives ppl a variety of they want a break from the popular pretty boys hahaha

Sidenote-- I may have missed it but what's up with Kao and Krating's drama? Did the project get pulled bc of Krating's mini scandal and Kao becoming freelance again?

Ch 3 being doing some of these actor/actresses bogus after bringing them in from One31 and etc. Kao had successes with her drama with Mark and Great, proving she can be a great asset but they didn't actually give her more work. While Bow is getting Nadech, James, Mark, Pon, etc with the ones that was out,

@WeirFany oh I agree he’s one of the more masculine p’ek of his gen (most of the rest tend to be the pretty K-pop types that people today like). Yes his appearance and voice is attractive but I feel his acting lacks range, and his voice also seems a bit monotonous while acting. I’ve only liked him in his movie with Baifern, who probably carried a big part of that movie. On screen, Nine gets overshadowed very easily against strong n’eks.

I think the Kao & Krating drama should be in post-production stage? Wasn’t it announced around the same time as Mint Chalida & Nonkul’s drama? And that one was just wrapped a few months ago. All new releases should be for next year now for Ch3, they are focused on Prom Likit for the rest of the year. The only other new release during this period is Mint R and Ice Panuwat drama.

BPS the movie broke 100M in its first weekend so that’s amazing. Congrats to the team. As for international release, we can hope but I’ll likely catch it only on Netflix. I’m not into horror movies, haha.

yup teeyod broke 100M nationwide in two days. I will only watch it on netflix not cinema. Im not brave enough lol. anyway P dew must be so now because both ch3 movie (teeyod) and lakorn (BPS) do extremely well now. ch7 really needs to step up their game.

And this movie is done by a company that are linked to them too… which is why Ch3 can promote it so extensively.

Ch3 is good for picking actors with star factor. I find even their actors in supporting roles to be more memorable than those on other channels.

Now if only they can somehow develop good scriptwriters.
