at the end of the day its just one of those silly, feel good lakorns it so unrealistic at times but i think that what makes the lakorn especially a lakorn like this.
b/c i mean Chom's characters not meant to know thai right? b/c she come's from america but yet she's singing fluently lol.
i don't think i can officially say i'm gonna watch the whole lakorn until next week lol but taking it as a good sign as i watched it start to end without FF it lol.

Chompoo's voice doesn't suit Morlum, its best just for modern songs.
What's morlum cupid candy? Is it some kind of thai traditional music genre or what? what's the difference between it and luk thung? I'm kinda confused because personally I don't understand thai's music  Please enlighten me?

why did they have thai subtitle when Por talked to his friends? Did they talk in other language? It sounded a lil bit different though

Its hard to explain, but Morlum is like northeastern type language of music. And look thoong is the country style songs. My dad says look thoong is more sentimental and slowish, and morlum is more upbeat.

Any musicals have to be cheesy in a way, I mean, you can't have people singing, dancing, and prancing around without it being a bit cheesy at all. I think thats whats so charming about musicals...its cheesiness. I usually only like musical in animation movies (i.e. disney) because it just looks funny watching real people do it. But its a matter of what type of cheesiness it is; there is cheesy in a cute way and cheesy in a disgusting way because the actors/actress are trying too hard and it looks forced. But if the acting and production is good, then the cheesiness looks natural, cute, and fun. But with bad actors and bad production, it comes out forced and very fake. With that being said, I actually really liked Ep. 1, I think chompoo still looks a bit reserve in some of the dancing scenes but other than that, it seems to have the right type of cheesiness. I like all the songs so far too, Por is such a good singer (and a real cutie) and I like his acting (this is my first time watching his lakorns). I would recommend this for those who are still on the fence, especially if you like thai country music (you don't even have to like it, but you'll find that its fun and makes you want to dance!).
