You're happy you topped 1226? You're supposed to be on 1225 !! So are congratulations in order or not?? But never mind! You're doing episode 8 today that's all I need to know.

Well, I can't find a clearer version so if you could that'll be nice. I'm watching on DramaCool Nice but it's on youtubes too. I'm on episode 6 now. The music is heart ripping when they're in the office scene together. The guy may not be Por Date handsome but he's craggy around the edges & I don't mind those types they're usually strong because got to bank on talent alone. This is my second movie watching him, he's from NGAO ASOKE the first production.

I thought I'd topped 1225 but @CPY did. But it doesn't matter, congratulate me because 1226 was the page I wanted :aaaaa::aaaaa::aaaaa:

I looked up that lakorn and it's a 2009 lakorn, not 2014. That explains the quality. That's probably as good as it's gonna get :(

So sorry for Pope he took this role, it didn't stop traffic like BPS but more likely everyone starting going out to the shops for dinner to escape evening TV!

You asked before if I like the Humphrey Bogart version of Sabrina? It's a little less romantic I think when he deals with rubber and made a fibreglass table that people can jump on & not get broken. And Audrey Hepburn went to a cordon bleu cooking school a skill which she never need to use. I look at those things and the elegant classiness of the Harrison Ford version, there's little dialogue yet it's so spot on for everyone - the servants from the kitchens, even the one-liners of Sabrina's superiors at Vogue. And she transitioned from a clumsy girl to a sophisticated woman mostly because of heartbreak but a huge part too from the fashion house she works for.

Since we want a modern take, I still think Pope would be great in a Sabrina with Bella. In LRT when he's the tortured, matured gentleman he portrayed it well like the Linus character - a loner & self-absorbed. They shouldn't act with each other too much but if you get a Sabrina one worthy, memorable thing is better than acting in several together like some screen couples.

I thought the glass and stuff added to the charm of the original. And Audrey Hepburn went to cooking school to learn to cook-- and to get over David. Cooking's always a skill you can use.
I tend to prefer old Hollywood though, so it makes sense that I liked it better :risas3:

I would LOVE Popella in a modern take on Sabrina! Wish ch 3 read this thread once in a while...

Woah. o_O Spoiler here for KSTD:

This is the closest to chemistry they've got in the entirety of the lakorn. Hahhha.

The premise of this scene: Tieng is drunk by the sea, tells Deun he loves her alot. Deun replies that she loves him back .

He breaks down, embraces her, and goes for her neck first!
View attachment 21841
Wth Pope?? No fin scenes like BPS huh? This is worst. You are sexually harassing her. Yeah, I don't trust you anymore.

Sobbing like a baby he asks her if she loves him why is she doing this to him.
View attachment 21842
Considering I have not watched anything since Ep8, I'm assuming she loves him, but chooses not to be with him. . . at this moment.

His drunk embrace causes them to sit down on the cement wall or bench.
View attachment 21843
It was sort of awkward. Ok very awkward.

He proceeds to "sniff" her, one cheek at a time. View attachment 21844
Ok it would've been less awkward had Chip been more responsive. She makes Pope look so. . . pervy and desparate. Which Tieng actually is. Haha.

He moves down her body now "kissing" her limb.
View attachment 21845
Really? Someone fix her hair please. Please.

Moving on down to her forearm he continues to kiss her.
View attachment 21846
I actually like this shot.

Deun watches in distraught as Tieng continues kissing her and she asks him if he really wants her to remember him in this state.
View attachment 21847
Thankyou. There's the pretty face.

Can't forget the hands.
View attachment 21848
Awkward Pope-hands in action again.

Tieng rises and turns away sobbing even harder.
View attachment 21849
. . . . :confused0: like him more as P'Date.

Saddened at the situation she quietly cries.
View attachment 21850
Chip looks beautiful in this shot. Her skin and tone is glowing.

The end

Whooo. What a U turn from what we have been getting the first half. How the heck did they end up loving eachother so much like this when I felt nothing up to Ep8??? Anyway. Watch here if you're interested. Haha.
Skip to 4:30 for the juicy scene.
Wow...o_O That's a pretty sexy scene even for Pope

I'm all for sexy scenes from the samee, but not with Chippy

Imagine if that had been BELLA he kissed  We all would've fainted

Hey look I finally finished part seven. Shorter than I originally intended, but I'm on vacay right now so not as much time. This is just a transition part.
Also I'm only going to quote the previous part from now on
Can I take a moment to complain that this looked longer on my doc??? :fighting3:

PART VII

A few hours later :naughty2:, Kade and Date emerged from their room, still smoothing the wrinkles from their clothes and combing through their hair. As they hurried to the common area of the house, Date caught Kade’s eye and they smiled, both blushing crimson. Date wandered a little closer to Kade, and began putting stray strands back in their places while he patted his own rumpled shirt.

Upon reaching the common area, Kade and Date saw their children entertaining themselves. Rhueng and Rit were studying from their textbooks, and Kaew was threading garlands with her grandmother.

Prang, however, was nowhere to be seen. Kade voiced Date’s question: “Where’s Mae Prang?”

Date looked around. His youngest daughter wasn’t in the common area.

“Do any of you know where Mae Prang is?” Kade asked their children. All of them shook their heads.

“P’Pin, P’Yam!” Kade called. The two servants scuttled into the room. “Jao ka, Khun Ying?”

“Do either of you know where Mae Prang is?”

Both servants shook their heads. “Rao mai roo sak, jao ka.”

Kade and Date turned to meet each other’s gaze. Date saw his own concern reflected in his wife’s eyes. He sprung into action.

“Pin, Yam! Go search the house for Mae Prang. I’ll go make sure she hasn’t gone outside.”

“I’ll go check her room,” Kade said calmly but seriously as she followed Pin and Yam out of the room.

Date strode through the common area and out the front door. Where could Mae Prang be? He began hurrying toward some trees, then stopped. What if Prang had decided to play by the pier and fallen into the water? He’d reprimanded her countless times before for playing in that forbidden area.

Date stalked in the direction of the pier.

Sure enough, as he neared the pier, he heard sniffling from behind a nearby tree. He approached the tree, clasping his hands behind his back. He rounded the trunk.

Little Prang was curled up in foetal position, rocking back and forth with her head buried in her skinny arms as she sobbed.

Uh oh.

Sobbed.

Date didn’t do crying very well. He always tried to comfort Kade when she was upset, but he’d never felt comfortable doing it. A constant fear nagged at him every time, prompting him to worry that he would say the wrong thing and make the teary person even more upset. He’d found it best to just avoid his crying children and send Kade to help.

But he didn’t have Kade with him. Date would have to go fetch her from her search, which was most definitely continuing back in the house. He spun around to leave before Prang noticed him.

He heard a crack. Crap.

Maybe she hadn’t heard him step on the twig?

“Khun Pa jao ka?”

Crap.
EVEN THOUGH SOMEBODY SABOTAGED ME AND DELETED A COMMENT SO I NO LONGER APPEAR AT THE TOPS OF PAGES 1225 AND 1226 I'm still SO NICE that I typed part 8 up on my phone to post today. I'm on the last couple days of my vacay so I might have part IX out sooner

Since it was on my phone it's not very polished and I haven't really read it through, so... yeah

PART VIII

Date turned around. “Man kheu arai, loo? What is it?”

But Prang was nowhere to be seen.

“Prang? PRANG?!” Date called Prang’s name over and over as he ran around the pier, trying to find his elusive daughter. Had she run back to the house?

No. This was Kade’s child he was looking for. Date looked up.

Sure enough, there was Prang. She sat on the top of the trunk, clutching a thick branch tightly.

“Prang, get down from there,” Date ordered.

Prang shook her head, clutching the branch ever tighter.

Date sighed (again). Reaching up, he carefully removed his daughter’s arms from the branch, placing them at her sides. Then he placed his hands under her skinny arms, picked her up with ease, and set her on the ground. She barely came up to his waist.

Prang tried to make a break for it again, but Date held onto her shoulders.

“What’s wrong, Prang? Why were you crying?” Date’s eyes were filled with concern for his youngest.

“I wasn’t crying,” Prang lied, still struggling against her father’s grip.

“Prang! Don’t lie to your father. I saw you crying, and I want to know why.” Date got down to her level. “Prang!”

Prang stopped struggling and gazed into her father’s dark eyes. “Khun Pa jao ka…”

“Yes, Prang?” Date answered, trying to hide the fact that his patience was wavering.

“Why did Pin and Yam say we aren’t going to the market today?”

Date eyebrows furrowed deeper. What did that have to do with anything? “What?” he asked.

“You promised we would go to the market today, and then we didn’t. I was looking forward to it, Khun Pa.”

And suddenly, Date understood. He had forgotten that he’d had Pin and Yam tell the children that there would be no market trip today. Time with Kade often did that to him…

“Prang. You were crying because you thought I broke my promise.”

Prang, hanging her head, nodded.

“i hope you know that that is completely irrational and not the behavior of a good child. And to make it worse, you ran away without telling anyone where you went. You know you’re not supposed to be at the pier alone.”

Raising her head slightly, Prang gazed up at her father through her eyelashes.

“And don’t give me that look,” Date continued, “You know what you did was wrong.”

Prang hung her head again. She turned towards the house.

“Where are you going?”

“Back towards the house, Khun Pa. I’m going to go cry in my room instead.” She began to trudge through the foliage.

“Dio! Wait!”

Prang stopped.

Date averted his gaze from her, instead examining the base of the tree to his right. “If you walk back to the house, you’ll be causing yourself more trouble…

“Why bother going back to the house when you’re just going to have to turn right around and come back to the pier?”

Prang spun around, her smile bigger than her tiny face. She ran toward her father with arms outstretched, wrapping them around his neck and kissing his cheek.

Date’s smile was bigger than Prang’s.

That's what I'm saying! If only that lakorn was 1/10th of what BPS is, the romance will be off the hook. Hahaha. From what I've seen so far I don't have those kind of fin-feelings from the characters at all. The scene we got above feels like a totally different lakorn. Hahaha.

I'm not going to press the LIKE button because you didn't tell us anything. I even let the night go & didn't come to read the threads & watch some other movie instead so you can get your 1225. You're really a horrible little thing!

(please continue with IX by 3pm this afternoon)

Usually the greats don't, even when they win. They'll say a thank you via live satellite from somewhere. Hindi movies I only follow one actor - and he's wonderful in all his choices. Neena you would know of him ; it's Aamir Khan. He doesn't go to awards & never explained why either; he just don't go. In Hollywood the notorious one who never went to any at all is the late Katherine Hepburn, she said it very nicely the awards doesn't mean anything to her but just happy to be able to work.
he doesnt go cause he thinks they are a farce and know they arent credible.
