Ahh... don't give up hope. Hold on to what you have. Questions that I have is are you of age (over 18)? Is he of age? Love has no boundaries, but we have to respect our parents and show them that we are responsible people who can make wise choices and decisions. Figure out why they don't approve and work to turn it around. If it's because of his family connection, financial status, profession, etc, make some changes that will boost those up but all the while telling your family to see HIM for who he is and and what he means to you.

Well, it's really up to your heart to make the decision. My brother-in-law's father had 2 wives and when my sister-in-law married him, my mother-in-law was so mad.
