CHAPTER TWENTY ONE=================================================================
(Next Morning)
Usamanee can’t believe he stole her son. She had let it go yesterday when the giant TV and hundreds of DVDs were delivered because her little knight had begged her to. But this morning, she woke up to a missing Je. She asked the nurse and they said that his father came to check him out already. He was raging war on her.

She pick up the pay phone to get that jerk a piece of her mind. He picked up on the first ring. “Jessadaporn! You return my son right now!”

“Or else what? You’re going to call the cops? Well, I’m not scared. Because as it happens, I’m this only parent, cause technicly you don’t even exist.”

“Argh! You jerk! I’m going to kill you when I get my hands on you.”

“Try then. I’m at the beach house bonding with MY son.”

“I’m coming over to get my son right now. You just stay right where you are and we’ll settle this out once and for all.”

“See you then, my beautiful.”

“JE--.” He hung up on her. “Argh!!!”

--

10 long hours later, Usamanee climbed out of the taxi into the pitch black beach house. “Win, baby. Mommy’s here.” From behind, a pair of strong arms wrapped around her.

Jessadaporn sniffed her hair. God he missed her. “You’re here.”

Usamanee wiggled, “Where’s Win?”

“At home with Grandma.”

She turned around to face him, “You tricked me?”

He let out a guilty smile, “You’re the desperate one to seek me out and kill me.”

She gave him mighty punches, “Using my son to bait me. I’m heading back to get him and I’ll take him where you can’t find him and--.”

He hugged her then, so tight, suffocating her and preventing her from speaking further. “When will you see that I’ve changed…just for you.”

She let out a frustrated puff of breathe, “I don’t what to hear it. We’re over--.” Then she looked straight at his begging eyes, “No—we never got started; so therefore, just let me be.”

He hugged her tighter, “No.”

“I can’t breathe.” She tried to push him off.

“Then you know how I feel. You make me forget to breathe and you just steal the heartbeat right out of me.” He loosen his hold on her a bit and place her hand over his fast beating heart. “And then it starts to beat like this because it has found its other half. Do you feel like me too?”

Usamanee pried her hand off, “No.”

Jessadaporn face turned hurt, “You’re never going to forgive me right?”

“Correct. It’s always been a one-sided love from me.”

“Not true, If only you listen--.”

“I don’t want to.”

“Well, then I’ll make you.” He dragged her and he pulled out the same old roll of duck tape. Jessadaporn look at her in frustration, “Is this how you felt all those times, trying to get me to hear you out, but I kept brushing you off.” He laughed at himself madly, “No wonder you want nothing out of me. You know how I feel right now? Mad. Mad that I have this greatest love for you, and you won’t even accept it.”

“Je, you’re really going mad.”

He taped her hand. “You’ve always had that iron mouth. This time, I want to know how long you can keep insisting that you don’t love me.” He didn’t let her a chance to say something smart back; he taped her mouth, “That’s for keeping you quiet so I can have my monologue.”

He sat her on the couch, and he kneeled on the ground before her, “I feel like a stupid pra’ek in a lakorn that takes 16 episodes to utter the words I love you, when those three simple words would have prevented all the misunderstandings, heartache, and the lost time. You deserve more that those three words. You may feel like I’m throwing the words of love and loving you all along at you, but I’m not. There’s so many things that you need to hear directly from me without interruptions.” A tear fell off his eyes. Jessadaporn sniffed. “You’re that burst of energy in my life. The first time I saw you, I did smiled to you but only because you were smiling so wide at me first. Because I didn’t know love, so I overlooked you. But you continue to love me regardless when I married another women and was a cold bastard toward you. If it wasn’t for you, I would have lost myself completely. Maybe, I didn’t deserved you then as a bastard, but now, I’m ready to be that man you envisioned.”

Jessadaporn wiped the tears from his eyes, “I lost you then, and then again. You knew that I stared at the patch of blood stain on my sheets for days. Usamanee, I realized midway racing out to catch Ploy, that the person I should be racing to was you. I came back to find you, but you were gone. And when I heard that you died on that crash, and Ploy survived, God was spiting in my face. I drove you to your death. I hated myself so bad. And I hated Ploy, but why of all twisted things, you returned as her. By then, I was mourning you, and hating her, and you, who I loved the most, was on the receiving end of my hate for Ploy. Arghhhh!!! You were pregnant with my child, and I outrageous called you cunning. Serves me right, when I found out that blood test you got at the emergency room that you were not Ploy. Argh! I hurted the one I loved the most this whole time. Can you just give me a nod, say you love me bit.”

Usamanee stared at him, and she turned her head and then she knocked him out of her way and she ran for the open patio door. It was dark, and she just kept running. And before she realized that she was at the end of the dock, she had ran into the sea.

CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO=====================================

Jessadaporn jumped right after her, and he grabbed her to. When his foot found the ground, he stopped and he ripped the tape off her mouth. “Did you not hear my heartfelt confession? I cried in front of you, and then you knock me over in response. You sure are hard to win over.”

“It’s too easy. I don’t trust you.”

Those words echoed the same one he had accused her of. “Then I guess I just have to be more convincing, huh, wifie.”

Jessadaporn purposedly let go of her, and Usamanee impulsively looped her hands around his neck to prevent herself from drowning, “Je!” She hugged him.

He let her cling on him. Let her need him. “I like this pose.”

“Take me back to shore.”

“Nope, I’m done playing nice, cause you’re not even giving me a chance. We are going to freeze here all night, until you said you love me. Let it be a legend that two lovers die and froze in embrace in the sea, so that they can be to together forever.”

Usamanee shivered. She hated that she was hanging on to him for her life. “This isn’t something to romanticize about. I’m serious.”

“Says who? This is totally my definite of romantic.” He swooned in for her mouth before she can have her comeback and he was surprised. She didn’t fight him. She grabbed him closer.

He pulled out of her sweet lips, and licked his bottom lip, “Because of you, I’ve sex deprived for centuries.” He drapped her legs over him, cupped her bottom here, and looked at her. “Now you’re going to get it bad.”

“JE! Let me down.” She kicked at his butt.

“That’s not doing you any good.” Usmanee felt him getting hard. “I’m thinking you’re right. Romantic isn’t the right tone. I like masochistic better.”

Her eyes didn’t widen fast enough, as he carried them out and into the bedroom. He tossed her on the bed unceremoniously.

Usamanee collected her wet self. She pointed at him, as if her finger was a gun. “This isn’t funny.”

“I’m not aiming for funny. I said masochistic.” He laughed anyway. He caught her eyes on the same lamp she had used to knock him out that last time he got rough on her. Jessadaporn grabbed the lamp and sent it crashing to the ground. “There’s goes your weapon.” He lunged for her and climbed roughly on top.

“Je. If you force me, I’ll hate you forever.”

“Ow. That’s harsh. I’ll stop if you say you love me.”

“What?”

“Say you love me.”

“Je, this got to stop.”

“See, your mouth is still stubborn. And I’m going to do it with you all through the night, perhaps it can jog your memory of your apparent big appetite. I am going to make you pregnant so you will be stuck with me. You don’t love me. Okay. It can be one-sided.” He liked how he was scaring her witless. He smiled at her, confusing her.

“Get off me. This isn’t funny.” She tried to push him off with her still taped wrists.

“Nope. I’m been saving myself all for you, and now you’re denying me? You’re hurting my ego.” He frowned. “Don’t reject me, it makes me want you more.” Jessadaporn started to kiss her. Then he untapped her wrist and look at her. “Last chance to say you love me before I throw myself at you.”

“Je--.”

“No, not I love you?” He started to enjoy his act ripping their clothes off. He let out a laugh. “I like this rough play. No wonder people like sex play. Does this not turn you on?” He teased his erected at her, and he entered her.

She was cool from the sea, and moist. “Your mouth says no, but your body says otherwise.” He started to move seductively slow inside of her. Usamnee arched her back at the painful slow rhythm. Jessadaporn knew he got her. Usamanee let out the moan she had been biting down, and she hugged him, “Je…”

He missed that out of breathness in her calling him Je when they made love. “Yeah?”

“I want you…faster.”

“You love me?” She nods. “Say you love me.”

“I love you.” She said it so fast, and she heaved herself upward trying to get closer to him. That was all he needed. Say he tricked her, say whatever. He knew he was playing dirty, but there’s nothing wrong with a little shortcut. He kissed her and he showed her just how much he loved her.

--

It was morning. Jessadaporn woke up to her pouting angrily at him, and he knew that the clouds were clearing. “Don’t look at me like that—I’m scared.”

Usamanee lurged for him and tackled him and started to swing and swing all her worth at him.

“You’re suck a jerk! Low-baling such a low move!” Then her soreness hit her, “Ow.” Usamanee stopped and closed her eyes to the slight pain.

Jessadaporn grabbed into his chest for protection. He looked at her clench her stomach. “Where are you hurting?”

She gave him a nasty glare, “You’re the source of the pain. You’re always such a dog.” She gave him a deadly punch on the shoulder.

“No not a dog, just a chimpanzee.”

He smiled and he looked into her eyes, and slowly her eyes sparkled and she smiled at him. And he knew that everything was going to be alright. And they started laughing.

“I love you, Usa.”

She liked how he called. It was full of emotions and it was intimate. “Say it again.”

“I love you.”

“Again.”

“No! Your turn.”

“You’re not doing too well at winning me over.” Usamanee kissed him.

“Well, you’re already sold on me.”

“JE!”

“Why do you say my name like that like I’m in trouble.” She pulled herself from his embrace.

“Okay!” He hugged her back, and he stroke her, starting to arouse her, “I love you.” He whispered is into her ears and he started to kiss down her neck.

She grabbed him, “I love you, Je.” They kissed like crazy.

--

A week full of make-up sex later, they returned.

“Mommy! Daddy!” Jessawin ran to hug Jessadaporn’s long leg.

“You got so much bigger.” Jessadaporn swung his son on his shoulder.

Grandma walked over and hugged Usamanee. “Oh, my precious, why you tried to take such a burden.”

“Grandma, have you been well.”

“I feel like I’m getting younger. Jessada is such a sweety, but he’s starting to get old; so you can have him. I got my great-grandson giving me a ten year life extension.”

“Yeah, he’s starting to get dull.”

This made Jessadaporn turned to Usamanee. He narrowed his eyes at her, “Dull?” He placed his son down and garbbed Usamanee and hugged her infront of the whole house. He snuffled on her neck and looked at his grandma. “Grandma, you’re going to get a 100 years extension.” He scooped Usamanee into his arms and started to walk into the house.

Jessawin called out, “Daddy, where are you taking mommy?”

“You want a little brothers and sisters to play with?”

Little Je jumped, “I want like a whole power ranger army.”

Jessadaporn looked at her wiggling and blushing, “Mommy, you hear that, a whole army.”

“Je. I’m tired.”

“I can fix that.”

“No, this is crazy. You’re embarrassing me.”

“I can fix that.” He carried her up the stairs and dumped her on his bed. “Now, my chimpanzee. How should you like it fixed. Me on top or…” Usamanee jumped up and kissed him.

--

One month later.

She ran out of the bathroom and hugged him and jumped.

“What? You’re going to rip your wedding dress.”

She kept smiling at him. From behind her, she brought out the meter and she screamed. “I’m pregnant!”

He stared at her and then kissed her, “That’s one heck of a wedding night surprise. I say it calls for an extra special celebration.” They continued in their love tango and inched toward the bed.

He stroked her now blushing cheeks. “Why do you blush so, my bride?”

“You make me do things.”

“I do?”

She pushed him on the bed and climbed on top, “Yes, things like this.” She cupped his fly.

He flipped her under him, “I’m going chimpanzee crazy for you.”

“I love you.”

“I love you, Usa. Ops.” He ripped her dress skirt. “Now let’s work out now to get this damn dress off you.” But then he didn’t, he just continued ripping.

CHAPTER ONE - ABRIDGED VERSION

She knew that the moment he landed on top of her, she should’ve resisted in the least bit but she didn’t. For tonight, she was going to be selfish. She stroked him in equal desire, never feeling so right in her life. The second he entered her, she felt that he was finally hers—completely. After his explosive release, her body surrendered in passion, and blissful firework rippled throughout her.

“This is a mistake.”

“Je, I love you.”

He lifted his sweat-covered body off and haphazardly started to dress. “You knew that Ploy was leaving today. I was drunk and I trusted you to bring me to the airport to stop her. But you brought me here instead. I don’t ever want to see you again.” With those last words, he opened the door and walked out. Usamanee cried her heart out. One moment of her selfishness had cost her everything. And now he hated her. Usamanee suddenly wiped her tears. She quickly dressed, trying hard to not notice the blood stain on her inner thigh.

Jessadaporn was speeding on the way to the airport. In his mind, he has the concrete picture of his wife’s beautiful face but something was causing that image to blur, and suddenly, the picture inside of him changed. Suddenly, he stepped on the brake. He needed to go find her right now, before everything is too late.

On the plane, Ploy twisted the annoying ring on her finger and took the ring off. “What was I thinking stil
l wearing this piece of crap?”

“Khun Ploy, you can’t leave.” Usamanee appeared in front of Ploy.

“Did Khun Jessada die of a broken heart for you to be here like this?”

“Jessadaporn is trying to catch you and make up. Don’t go.”

“So where is he now? I guess it’s not our fate. But I have to say that your fate with him is even more unfortunate.”

“What are you talking about?”

“I knew it from the first day that you had a crush on Jessada. All those years, he overlooked you. As a matter of fact,” Ploy grabbed Usamanee’s hand and placed the ring onto her open palm, “Take care of him. I don’t want his death on my conscious.”

“No. No. He loves you only. I beg of you, don’t break him. Please, don’t—.” Usamanee didn’t get to finish her word, as another landing plane’s wheel malfunctioned causing the plan to veer off course and crash into their plane.

``````````````````````````````````
Jessadaporn was outside, looking down to the river below the bridge and letting the rain wash away his ruthlessness. Damn, what have he done? Then his phone started to ring. He quickly picked it up, hoping it’s her. But after listening to the news on the other line, he rushed to his car, zooming off like it’s the end of the world.
Usamanee woke up to the voices of urgent doctors. “Khun Ploy Pholdee. You’re safe.” Usamanee flinched, what’s going on? Why is she being called Ploy Pholdee? “Don’t move. You just had surgery. Khun Ploy, you have survived the crash with minimal injury.” She brought her bandage hands to her face, trying to rip the bandage on her face off so they can see that she is not Ploy Pholdee. The doctor sedated her, “You’re in shock. Don’t worry, Khun Ploy, your husband had contacted the best plastic surgeon for your facial reconstruction.”
When she woke up two times, she broke into the same fit and got sedated again and again. She cannot do anything as she listened to the doctor tell her of their plastic surgery plan. After the surgery, she remained bandaged and started to heal. She wanted to tell the doctors that she was not Ploy, but she couldn’t bring herself to. Each day, she rehearsed the lines she was going to confess to Jessadaporn that she was not Ploy and that in fact she was Usamanee who he never wanted to see and hated. But he never came to visit her.
Finally after two months, she fully recovered and can be released. “Khun Ploy, your recovery had been faster than I outlined. Your reconstructed face looks completely natural.”
Usamanee noticed the incriminating wedding ring on her finger that had mistakenly identified her as Ploy. “Is Khun Jessadaporn here yet?”
“Yes, he’s meeting you in the front desk to check out.”
Usamanee entered the lobby, and he was handsome as always. She found herself smiling, but as he saw her, his face went stern. Here was her chance. She started to confess. “Jessadaporn…I have something important to tell you. Can we tal—.”
“Talk about the divorce?” Jessadaporn offered. “You won’t even wait until we leave the hospital to start your talk on divorcing me? Are you angry that this little tragedy delayed your desperation to be free of me so you can get back in the market?”
“What are you talking about?”
“Why don’t we leave to have your ‘important’ talk?”
Inside his car, she asked the question that had been on her mind for the last two months, “Why didn’t you visit me once?”
“I thought I was doing you a favor. You were right Ploy; we should divorce.”
“What are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about the divorce that you so were life-and-death about.”
“We were getting divorce? I thought we were just fighting and that was why I was going to America to model to give us a break? I was thinking that you were going to follow me and make up?”
Jessadaporn took his eyes off the road to look at her. He couldn’t believe her. She had always played the same act every time they fought. She would leave him, and he would ask for her back. She would apologize, he would forgive her, and everything would go back to their honeymoon days. And in another month or so, they would fight again, make up, fight, and make up. It was a predictable cycle. Their last fight was explosive and Ploy walked out saying she’s feed up with him pulling her down. Now he realize that what they had wasn’t love. He is no longer that fool blinded by her beauty. Jessadaporn shot her a look of disbelief and handed her a manila envelope as he pulled up to her condo. “These are your new and reissued ID and credit cards.”
Usamanee opened the envelope and some few sheets of documents. “What is this?”
“Ploy, don’t play dumb. Those are the divorce papers you filed for. I finalized them. Just look it over, I’ve agree to all of your terms. Contact my lawyer when you‘ve consulted yours.” He looked at her with the most straight face. “I have nothing else to talk to you about. Now, please get out of my car. I find that I owe you this much to give you the best facial reconstruction of your precious face because it’s the only good thing you have.”Usamanee grabbed her prescription bag and stepped out. What’s going on? Ploy was filing for divorce? She knew that they fought a lot over Ploy’s modeling and acting work, but they always made up. What changed Je? He was so eager to make up with Ploy that night. Usamanee was so confused.
CHAPTER TW0 - ABRIDGED VERSION
Then flashes of light engulfed her. Reporters screamed questions at her miraculous survival. Nothing got to her and then Jane, Ploy’s agent, appeared beside her. “Nong Ploy, sorry, I tried to control the press as best I can. But, somehow news got out about your release. Security is clearing us way, just follow me.” Usamanee did just that and finally, they reached Ploy’s condo. Usamanee started to break down. She wasn’t supposed to get this far.
“Nong Ploy, don’t cry.”
“Khun Jane…I don’t know what to do…” She hugged the older women. “P’Jane…” She lets all of her frustration out in tears. “My whole life has been turned upside down. I don’t know who I am any longer.”
Jane was surprised that Ploy to talking to her as a friend. “Nong Ploy, don’t worry. You are getting more offers than ever. You have a press conference tomorrow at noon. You can take advantage of this situation and twist it to boost your image. And this year will be your golden year.”
“P’Jane, I don’t want to work…I need to handle my personal life first.”
“Oh, yes. Of course, you need time to yourself. I will cancel the press conference.”
Usamanee looked at Jane, “I’m going to rest and forget about everything for a while.” She walked to the bathroom. Usamanee turned back, “I can call you P’Jane right.” Jane nodded unsure. “Good. I always wanted a sister. P’Jane, thank you for listening.”
Usamanee washed her stranger face and stared at its reflection. She now has the face of the woman that Jessadaporn loved. Usamanee was insignificant. Usamanee worked as an intern at United Thai Bank. She crushed on Jessadaporn since the first time she got of glance of him walking into the office with the most melting smile. And her hopes died of him ever returning her love when he met Ploy and like a roller coaster, Jessadaporn and Ploy got married. Three years into his marriage, she was hired as his secretary. She saw how his marriage dried up his passion, only measuring his success by profit. He loved and did everything for Ploy. She must tell Jessadaporn the truth that she is not his wife.
`````````````````````````

In the other side of the city, Jessadaporn moaned in ecstasy as he pumped into the over-stretched women under him. “Yeah, you like that?” He rode her grinding to the bed.

“Fuck me.” Jessadaporn moved faster, the friction was killing him, and it felt good because it stole his mind from thinking about Ploy.

All those five years of marriage, he had been a fool. Now, he knew that she had only married him because he was naïve and rich. Everyone thought they fought because he disapproved of career as a model and actress, but only if they knew the truth.

Jessadaporn felt his release come, and he went weak and crashed back-side down on the bed almost dropping on top of the exhausted body of the blonde that he dig ten minutes ago. And Jessadaporn closed his eyes and moaned loudly, as six hands and three mouths start to pleasure him.

``````````````````````````````
Usamanee overslept but rushed to Jessadaporn’s flat to make her confession. She knocked, and a tall lady wearing a robe opened the door. “You’re not room service.”
Usamanee opened her mouth to ask if she had the right room, but then she heard Jessadaporn yawning, “Hey baby, is that the breakfast I ordered? We’re starving in here.”
“Some woman is here…” Then the lady recognized Ploy’s face, “Hey, aren’t you Ploy Boonyasak? Did you get vaginal plastic surgery too since your husband is fucking me?”
Jessadaporn, dressed only in a boxer, appeared with two women clinging on his arms. He froze at the sight of her. “What the heck are you doing here?”
Usamanee was stuttering, “I…I…I need to tell you something.”
“Got the papers signed already.”
“No. I got something else I need to tell you.”
“What else have you got Ploy? Did I not give you enough money?”
“No, not that. I need to talk to you alone.”
“You’re wasting my time Ploy. Whatever you got to say, say it.”
“Umm…um…I—It’s very important. I can only tell you alone.”
“It’s late. I need to go to work soon. You ladies should leave.” The ladies hesitantly left. At last, they were alone. “Come in. And make it quick.”
She looked up to see his abs, and her glaze lowered to the hair that vanishes under his boxer. She gulped and calmed her nerves. “Can you grab a shirt or something?”
“You’re wasting my time, Ploy,”
Usamanee took a deep breath and looked at his face only, “I need to confess to you.” She took another breath. “I…I am not Ploy.”
“Ploy, what are you playing at?”
“Listen to me. I am not--.”
“Not Ploy? Bullshit. You’re the person that screwed me up. First you buy me with that fake love you whisper to me when we fuck. Then you open your legs to every one of your bosses, sponsors, and producers to climb up to your stardom. And you bang the elevator boys, the old politicians, to my business partners and every other stupid guy that have a working penis.”
“WHAT?” This took Usamanee by surprise; she didn’t know any of this.
“Look at you. You’re still making excuses. Which one is it? I ruined your chance to be an international beauty queen when we married. And when we’re married, I ruined your career as a world-class model because no one would hire a married model, so you turned to acting. Then no one would hire an aging actress. Oh yeah, I counted all the excuses you gave me for fucking your way up. And recently now that you’re the next big thing, I’m a liability to your career so you want to toss me.”
“I…I…But I always thought you loved me. You came back each time.”
“What we had wasn’t love. You screwed me over. I’m ashamed that for awhile I ached for you. I was ready to forgiven you and beg you to stop the divorce and give anything to have you back.” Jessadaporn went silent like he was thinking about something painful and he gulped, “What matter now is that I should have seen you for who you were—a two-timing whore.”
She never knew about these real problems. No wonder he turned so cold. Her voice cracked, “Jessada, I’m sorry.” She wasn’t Ploy, but Usamanee felt that she had to apologize.
“Sorry. That’s new. You know who you made be. A fool who worked day and night to please your luxurious spending. A cold man who shut out his family because they ridicule you. A fucking worthless nothing. Is this what you wanted to talk about? Are you done?” Jessadaporn walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind him. Usamanee walked over to the door and she heard the loud gasps of pain escaping Jessadaporn’s muffled cries.
Usamanee couldn’t stand to hear him cry so she ran out of there. She walked on the streets, thinking one thing: she is going to heal Jessadaporn with her love and bring his smile back. She walked to a nearby phone booth to dial Jane. “P’Jane, about the press conference, can you make a recall.” Usamanee made up her mind. Ploy is the only one Jessadaporn loves and Ploy will live again to love Jessadaporn. From now on, there’s no more Usamanee, only Ploy.
CHAPTER THREE - ABRIDGED VERSION
“…I saw my whole life flash in front of me. The things I did that I had hurt many. I am sorry. I want to announce that I will discontinue my career as a model and actress and spend time doing the things I overlooked before…”Jessadaporn hit the power button to shut down the news recap of Ploy’s press conference. He slammed his balled fist into his glass desk. Damn, what is Ploy cooking up? He looked at the time on his Rolex. It was late; Ploy must be at her condo. He grabbed his coat and raced out the double doors.
Jessadaporn knocked on the door. “Ploy, open up! I know you’re in there.” Ploy opened the door. He entered, kicked the door shut, and grabbed her to face him. “I totally underestimated you. Tell me! What is your motive of announcing your leave from that industry that you so dream of being number one? What are you up to? You would never give up your career!!! You’re up to something. What else do you want from me?”
Ploy tried to pry his grip off, “Je, I’ve change. I want us to start anew.”
“Je? Start anew? Those words are five years too late. I don’t love you anymore. You already killed me.”
“You always came back to me all those times I hurt you. I just want another chance, I will…”
“Don’t be making any promises to me!”
“I know that I hurted you again and again but I just want to make that up to you. I can change.” He looked away, not wanting to see her innocent, crying face. Ploy hugged his stiff body. “Can you give me one more chance…?” Without understanding her own actions, she kissed him. His body betrayed him as he responded to her and kissed her back, longing for her. Slowly, he lifted her and inched them to the bed. He rolled on top and looked into her warm brown eyes. And like a low dance, they moved to the rhythm of her heart’s desires. He felt her come and he let his release undone inside of her. They remained connected for a few minutes. Then, Jessadaporn suddenly pulled out, and sits on the edge of the bed, looking at her in disgust.
He shook his head and let out a laugh. He grabbed his brief and clothes and got up to dress. Ploy pulled her night shirt over her and got up, walking to Jessadaporn. He shot her an angry look and held out his palm to stop her from coming closer, “Don’t touch me. Each time you made me upset, wrong me, or I catch you screwing someone else, you would coax me into forgiving you with sex.” He looked into her widen eyes, “I am not your toy. I know your ways of using sex to control me. There will not be a next time.”
“No…No…I wasn’t trying to…no Je…I just wanted to—“
“I don’t want to hear anything more. I don’t know what you are up to. If you won’t divorce nicely, I’ll see you in court.” He didn’t bother buttoning his dress shirt and walked out, letting the front door slam loudly behind him.
```````````````````````````````````

Days later, Ploy got the perfect plan to stop their divorce so she can change him back. Ploy entered the Pholdee residence into the vast but empty dining hall. Jessadaporn’s grandma gave her a look of disapproval.

“What bring you here today, Ploy?”

“I need your help. Please, talk with Jessadaporn to stop the divorce process. I want to preserve our marriage.”

“Why? You filed them. Didn’t you so pressed for the separation? Don’t tell me that you come back reborn a new person?”

“Please, talk to Jessadaporn. I know that I have done the most unforgiveable things to cause him pain. I’m ready to start afresh with him and make amends.”

“I’ve never imagine you ever having remorse. You took the life out of my son. He works so hard so you’ll accept him. I can’t even share meals with him. And on the rare times he visits me, he never smiles.”

“I love him. I didn’t then, but I do now. But he is very cold right now towards me, swearing he doesn’t love me anymore. Please talk to Jessa—“

“I told you that there is nothing more to talk about.” Ploy turned to the booming voice of Jessadaporn who just walked in. “Come here.” He grabbed her arm and dragged her outside to the garden. “What the heck are you doing talking to my Grandma? What devil’s plan are you playing at? Tell me!”

“Jessadaporn, let go. You’re hurting me. I told you. I don’t want the divorce. I want another chance to be your wife. I will love you and--.”

“Love me? Bullshit, tell me your real motive!” Jessadaporn searched her eyes, but found nothing incriminating. “You don’t have the right to come to my house. Do you hear me? I want you out! Out!!!”

“No one is going anywhere.” Both of them turned to the voice of Grandma, “Jessada, Ploy will stay here in the house to accompany me when all you do is work and play these days and stay in that flat of yours.”

“Grandma, what did she bribe and promise you with? Don’t trust her.”

“She asked for a chance to be my granddaughter-in-law again, and I feel that I can give her one more opportunity.”

Jessadaporn huffed out in defeat. “She got you too with that bullshit story. Okay. You got my hands bond. You want to keep the goddamn name as my wife, then be it! This doesn’t change anything. I want nothing to do with you.”

``````````````````````````````````
The next day, Ploy packed and moved in with Grandma. And in the next month, Ploy won over Grandma and the whole household. Ploy was having dinner with Grandma, “I need to go out tomorrow to meet with P’Jane to wrap up some loose ends. Would you like me to pick anything up for you?”
“No. Enjoy yourself. Don’t worry about me.”
“Then I’m going to shop for some ingredient to make Thai desserts. I have been craving them.”
“I never knew you like Thai desserts.” She watched Ploy go still.
Ploy let out a nervously smiled, “I like Thai cuisine.”
Grandma watched her drink the glass of water and continue eating to avoid further conversation. Grandma watched her eat the spicy tom yum soup. Ploy hated Thai food, but apparently now, she likes them. And she was getting that feeling again. She is she getting a different vibe from Ploy? Grandma needed to figure that out what she is hiding.
At Seven Elephant Restaurant Ploy meet Jane. “Thank you P’Jane. This is for your efforts the last two months and for helping me seal a purchase my PloySOY clothes line.”
Jane took the check. “Nong Ploy, I wish you the best, and if you ever need anything don’t hesitant to call me.” Jane walked out of the restaurant. Two others offered better prices, but Ploy chose the Green Clothes Band purchaser, now she can upfront the money to her new charity foundation. Ploy got ready to leave when someone called her name.
“Ploy.” She recognized the young rising actor Teeravee. Vee grabbed her inward and placed a kiss on her cheek, very close to her lips.
“Khun…” Ploy pushed him away, “Khun Vee.”
“Ploy, I almost didn’t recognize you. You look so much more beautiful.” He leaned into her again and whispered, “Did you get anything else done? You look fuller…here…” One of Vee’s hands wrapped around her waist and lowered to grip her butt cheek.
“Khun Vee, this is inappropriate.” Ploy pushed him off and walked out.
In the parking lot, Vee caught up to her. “You’re awfully feisty today. Perhaps we can make good use of that aggressiveness.” He grabbed her and pushed her against the concrete parking wall. He reeked of cigarettes and his body was grinded on hers and she couldn’t react.
“And you said you‘ve changed.” The loud voice intercepted Vee’s attempt and Vee pulled back to tell the interfering asshole to take a hike.
Ploy was free from the squash, and she turned to the voice, “Jessadaporn?”
“Surprise?”
“Aren’t you over with this idiot? You said you were divorcing him.”
Jessadaporn walked between them, “Sorry to rain on your parade buddy.” He grabbed Ploy’s hand and dragged her away
CHAPTER FOUR - ABRIDGED VERSION
Jessadaporn looked straight at the road in silence.
“Umm…Jessadaporn, it is not like you think is?”
“I don’t care who you screw. This whole time I couldn‘t sleep thinking about the real motive you‘re back, and now, I must know the answer.” Jessadaporn pumped the gas and zigzagged in rocket speed and turned into dessert country roads. “Out!”
“I’m not getting out! You’re crazy. I told you that I have pure intentions. I just want to make amends. I just want to show you the real love I have for you.”
“Real love?” He dragged her out to the abandoned warehouse. He closed the door shut and threw her on the dusty ground. “I’m fed up with your love bogus. I have no patience.” Jessadaporn kneeled before her. He wrapped his hands on her ankle and pulled her closer to him. “If you won’t tell me nicely; I will get it out of you the hard way.” He yanked her heels and reached under her skirt to roll off one of her thigh high panty hose.
Ploy kicked at him, but it was not use. “What are you doing?”
“Stay still.” He started to bond her wrists with the panty hose. He sat on her and leaned over to peer down at her. He took the pocket knife he had grabbed out from his car in front of her face. “I’m going to get the truth out of you.”
“What are you going to do?”
“Kill you. Maybe.” Ploy froze as he brought the knife to lift up her skirt up. The cold metal was on her skin. Jessadaporn smiled as he cut her slip of panty. He ripped the rest off and brought the piece of white cotton to his face. He inhaled her unique woman smell and let his smile grow crooked. “Now, tell me. What do you want with my Grandma? From me?”
Ploy screamed and kicked more. “You’re scaring me!”
“Tell me!” He kissed her roughly, as he raised the knife to her collarbone. He bit on her tongue and liked now his teeth clanked with hers. Ploy pushed him off, and the movement caused the knife to sink into her upper arm. “Shit!!!” Jessadaporn swore and he shook Ploy. “Ploy? Ploy? Are you okay?”
Ploy looked up at him and reached to stroke his face. “Je, the reason is because I love you.” Then she fainted.
```````````````````````````````

In the emergency room, Grandma was giving her grandson an ugly look. “If he wasn’t my own blood. I’ll have him arrested. What did he try to do to you?”

Ploy rubbed her bandage upper arm and she looked over to Jessadaporn sprouting the devils’ horns, daring her to tell the truth. “It was an accident. I‘m okay. I want to go home, Grandma.”

“No need to tell me. I can tell who the culprit here is. Let’s get you back home to recover.”

Then a nurse entered the room, “The doctor wants to discuss the patient’s condition with the relative.” Grandma walked toward the nurse. “Good. I have many questions to discuss with the doctor about my daughter-in-law.” She turned to Jessadaporn. “You take Ploy back first.”

The door closed and they were alone. Jessadaporn walked over to sit on the chair beside the bed. “I turned into the bad guy in this event. You’re the one who pushed yourself on the blade. Call this your lucky day, just you wait--” His cell rang and he picked it up, “Hello, baby…I haven’t forgotten.” Jessadaporn hung up and he looked at Ploy in annoyance. “On second thought, I’ll give you a pass today.” He grabbed her good arm and dragged her up. “Up and out of here. I have ladies to entertain.”

“Oi, can you be slower.”

“Tell that to my little buddy. It’s 8 pm. He used to being iron hard right now in heaven.”

“Why do you do that? Tell be about your…”

“Did you expect fidelity? If you can play around, I can to. Are you just tick off because I cut your need short with Vee?”

This was the first time she has seen him in weeks, and he kept coming on to her before she can make her play. Ploy looked straight into his eyes, “Jessada, there is nothing between me and Vee or any other men. And I forgive you for today. I understand that you are suspicious that I have an ulterior motive but I just want a second chance. But you won’t give me one. I called you but you blocked me. How am I supposed to show you I’ve changed if you ignore me?”

“You better check yourself out before you end up in the morgue.” He walked out.

Inside the doctor’s office, Grandma’s face lighted up to what the doctor had just revealed to her. “Are you sure?”

“Yes, the patient is one month pregnant. It’s early and the patient may not be aware because of the confusion with her medications side effects.” Grandma smiled wide. Knowing the sex addict her grandson had morphed into, there was no doubt he fathered the baby. This must be what Ploy was hiding for her. It is time for her to be the fairy godmother. “Thank you, doctor.” She walked out of the hospital and pulled out her phone to call her lawyer. “Khun Ton, I need to see you right now.”

````````````````````````````````
Next morning at United Thai Bank, Grandma entered with Ploy and Lawyer Ton and greeted Dao, the head event organizer. “Update me on the bid progress.” Dao started to summarize the current bids. Ten minutes later, Grandma grabbed Ploy’s hands. “Come on, it’s time to crash the party.”
Jessadaporn caught sight of his Grandma and Ploy entering. He stood up and walked to his Grandma. “Grandma, what are you doing here?”
“I have let you go wild long enough.” She held her hand to address the crowd, “There are illegal organizations, corrupt politicians, and nuclear weaponry representatives here. Jessada, where has your sense of moral go?”
“Grandma, we are the top corporation of the South East. We are no longer just a bank. Can you believe the Hua Hin Shoreline is going for 35 million?”
Grandma addressed Dao, “Halt the bid.”
“Yes, Mrs. Chairman.” Dao walked away to the stage to announce the closure of the bid.
“Grandma, do you know what you just did?”
“I know exactly what I’m doing Mr. ex-CEO. You heard right.” Grandma addressed Lawyer Ton, “Khun Ton, please tell my wild grandson here the news.”
Lawyer Ton hesitated, “Khun Jessadaporn, you’re Grandma had relieve you of your title as the CEO of United Thai Bank and in your place, Mrs. Chairman is installing Khun Ploy as the new CEO.”
Ploy was in utter surprised. “Grandma, what’s going on?”
“I disapprove the direction that Jessadaporn is taking UTB. Therefore, I see that you are most fit to handle the business.”
“Uh, I don’t--.” Ploy tried to cut in.
“Tell me, how would you sell the properties?”
Ploy saw that everyone’s eyes were on her. She recalled the information Dao had presented before and she generated her decisions, “First, we should present the downtown community center back as a gift to the underprivileged. This may not generate profit to us, but we need the publicity boost. As for Hua Hin, we should sell it to the Sea World Researchers. Their offer is little, but it will qualify us qualify for a tax break. For the series of land over in the North, we should sell them to farmers instead of corporations who will clear the villages out. If this happen we will be criticize for dehumanization.”
“You hear that Khun Dao. The new CEO has spoken.”
“Yes, I will contact these agencies.”
“Oh, Khun Ton. Give my grandson his notice.” Grandma turned to Ploy. “You were great. Let’s go out to celebrate your new job.” Grandma grabbed Ploy and dragged her out before Ploy can say anything.
CHAPTER FIVE - ABRIDGED VERSION
Jessadaporn chugged the scotch from the bottle. Morning was creeping in; he had drunk through the night. Then he noticed the envelope Lawyer Ton had handed him. He took it out and opened the envelope to read the one sheet document inside. His vision was blurry, but he can still read the cursed words and he flew out ready to kill.
Jessadaporn pulled into the driveway to intercept his Grandma’s car. He climbed out and held up the supposingly notice that turned out to be his Grandma’s newly revised will. “You gave everything to her? HER?”
“Yes. Is that all you are here to discuss about. I have scheduled a retreat to the temple, as I know Ploy will take good care of the bank and the house. You’re drunk. Go back to your place.”
“You trust her???” Jessadaporn pointed at his chest, “How about me your blood grandson that you denounce out of your will?”
“They’re my assets to give. What your parents left you; that’s enough for you to drink and sleep around for the rest of your life.”
“Yeah, but you gave her everything. Everything that’s supposed to be mine!”
“She lives with me, takes care of me, and brings me happiness, not like you. You’re on the societal column every day, and I have to live with your disgrace to the Pholdee name.”
“Grandma, do you hear yourself? This is exactly what Ploy what she came back for? Within the two months she was in rehab, UTB raised to the top. She knows that if come back to pamper you, then THIS will happened. And it did! Grandma, you’ve been fooled!”
“Jessada, if you want your birth right back, then return to me my loving grandson.”
“This is the real me.” Jesssadaporn vowed, “I’ll show you her true colors.”
He watched his Grandma leave, and then he pulled out his cell and dialed that number that Ploy had called him a thousand times in the past two months. “Ploy, you wanted that chance to prove your sincerity, huh? Come out to meet me. I’m outside.”
A few minutes, Ploy exited the house. She opened the car door and entered to sit on the passenger seat. Jessadaporn look at her looking so beautiful in the morning. He threw the crumble Will at her. Ploy flattened it out and realized what it was. “I don’t know about any of this.”
“Yeah, I bet you didn’t.” He stepped on the gas and drove off like a rocket.
“Where are we going?” He flew through a stop sign. She turned her door, but it didn’t open.
“I safety locked it.”
The whole warehouse incident flashed through her mind. He had vowed that he was going to finish what he started that day. “Jessadaporn, take me back right now!”
“Backing off already? You were so insistent to prove yourself. So I’m giving you the chance. I’m dying to know too how long you will keep insistently that you have an innocent motive.”
Ploy looked right into his eyes, “And I also wonder how long you can hold your front. I’ll break down your walls, Je.” She closed her eyes and turned away. Ploy set her eyes on the head rest and took a nap to remedy her tiredness these past few days.
The drive was long, but he reached their destination. Jessadaporn parked his car in front the private beach house. He looked at the still sleeping and poked at her. “You slept long enough.” He dragged her by her arm inside the house and threw her on the couch. Jessadaporn walked into the kitchen and started flipping through cupboards.
Ploy watched him bring the duct tape over. “What are doing?”
“You’re mouth is iron. I’m just jump starting your confession.”
Jessadaporn grabbed her wrist and bond them. Ploy didn’t fight. Jessadaporn asked her, “Are you hungry? I’m starving, that was a long drive.”
Ploy gave his a warm smile, “If you unbound me, I can cook us some dinner.”
“Yeah? To let you poison me. Nice try.” He pulled her onto her feet and looked outside to the setting sun. “Look, perfect timing. The tides are rising. It’ll be a perfect view for me to enjoy a meal, but I think it’s missing its highlight.” Jessadaporn pulled her out into the sea toward the high dock. Under the bridge, where there are wooden beam supports, he dragged her into the cold water.
“What are you doing?”
“Let me set the record straight. We’re not here for a honeymoon. You said you welcome my challenge to test your innocence, well here’s your chance.” He took off his tie and used it to tie her to the beam. “Let’s see if you will still stand on that bullshit love claim in the morning.”
“You can’t leave me here. It’s dark and cold.”
“Don’t fall asleep; the tide can raise higher that you.” With that, he walked off. Ploy called after him. Time passed and she saw the lights go off in the house. She cried in the dark, as the water raise up to her armpit level. “Je, I’m scared.”
`````````````````````````````````

Jessadaporn didn’t know why he thought of her all night. Damn it, it’s morning, he didn’t sleep at all. He climbed out of bed, pulled a navy boxer on and slided his bedroom door to the outside and walked out.

“Morning, don’t you love the beautiful weather?” He looked at her shivering and with dark circles under her eyes.

“You’re here for me.” Ploy smiled weakly.

“Just didn’t want you to die yet.” He walked to unbind her and dragged her out. In the bedroom, Jessadaporn was conscious of how her wet clothes were clinging to her every curve. “Was that enough?” He took out his cell phone, “Call my Grandma and tell her the truth about you coming back to get steal the Pholdee’s wealth!”

“No.” Ploy was shivering and she said it softly.

“No?”

“NO.” Ploy said firmer.

“You think you can outlast me, huh?” He gave her an undressing head-to-toe look. “Take your clothes off. I said take your clothes off!” He grabbed her and ripped her wet clothes off.

“Jessadaporn, I thought this was about us being alone to learn about one another, but your definition of a chance is torture!” Ploy screamed at him and pound at him.

His hands were at her jean buttons working then loose. “Don’t worry, this part you’ll like. You always like it rough.” Jessadaporn dumped her on the bed, “I’ll show you exactly how much I ‘love’ you.” He caged her in.

His teeth were biting on her breast and his nails were digging on her thighs spreading them apart. This weight on her was suffocating, “Je, please don’t hurt me. I can be willingly.”

He looked down at her, “So, you do have a weakness?" His hand ripped her panty off. He nudged his hardness at her.

Ploy was scared of the thought that he would force her. He didn’t know that she have only made love two times and they were with him when he was gentle. “Je, you don’t want to do this.” She begged.

“This isn’t going romantic like you intended, huh?” He sat on her and lifted his boxer and brief down enough to let his erection free and settle between her. “I wonder if you’ll still utter those love claims to me if I rape you.”

“NOOOOO—.” His mouth claimed hers and he teased her entrance. Ploy pounded at him, and then she bit on his lower lip hard.

“Damn it!!!” Jessadaporn jumped off her and licked his bleeding lip. Ploy pushed him off and she climbed out of the bed. He caught her leg, and started luring her back. Ploy’s hands fell searching for an anchor. Her hands clasped around the lamp on the bed table and set held on to it like her lifeline. Her body failed to flight, so she swung the heavy lamp around to her attacker to fight.

THUD! Hard hit hard and she yelped as Jessadaporn knock out and fell dead on her. Slowly, she pushed him off.

CHAPTER SIX - ABRIDGE VERSION

Hours later, he woke up with the worst headache. He opened his eyes to a beautiful but strangely scared-looking women leaning over him.

“Are you okay?” Ploy was ready for him to attack her for hitting him on his head, but he looked confuse.

“Who are you?”

“Ploy am sorry that I hit you.”

“Ploy, that’s a lovely name. How can something like you hit my head?” He laughed.

Ploy was taken aback by his laugh, “Are you okay?”

“Yes, I’m okay if I got a beauty like you here. But outside of that, I can’t remember anything. Are we lovers? Wait. You’re my wife, huh?”

“Jessadaporn, stop it. It’s not funny.”

“Jessadaporn, that’s a handsome name.”

Ploy narrowed her eyes at him, “Did I hit you that hard.” She sat on the bed side and reached for his bruised side forehead.

Jessadaporn grabbed her hand. “You tell me, my beautiful.” He swung her onto his lap.

Ploy looked into his smiling eyes. “You really can’t remember?” She pried his embrace off. “I’m going to go call Doctor Som.” She found his cell phone in his tossed pant and Doctor Som’s number and called him.

``````````````````````````````
“What did the doctor said?” Jessadaporn embraced her from behind. Ploy turned back and she pushed him away.
“Don’t.” Then she looked at him stark naked. Her eyes lingered at the long flesh nested under his triangle of dark hair. She held up her oil-covered spatula that she was frying bacon with to warn him off. “Jessadaporn, put on some clothes.”
“Why? Don’t tell me I was modest with a sexy wife like you.” He looked down to check himself, “And I got the goodies to be proud of.” He hugged her again, but he was tight this time. He walked her to the kitchen counter. With a little lift, he sat her on the counter.
He was so close and she was at the same eye level as him. “Jessadaporn, the bacon is going to burn.”
His long arm reached to the stove and turned the heat off. “Okay, now you have no excuses.” He swooned in for her mouth. His kissed were passionate and fierce. “Ummm…yummy.” He smiled at her.
Ploy pushed at him, “Jessadaporn, Doctor Som said to let you rest so the temporary amnesia will past quicker.”
Jessadaporn pouted, “I don’t want to rest like a sick child. I’ll totally healthy, and I can prove that to you. I say let’s take advantage of this temporary memory lost to spice up our love life.” Ploy blushed. His was the boyish Jessadaporn she fell in love with. “You’re blushing. How long have we been marry?” He poked at her playfully.
Ploy couldn’t help but smile, “Five years.”
“Five? And you’re still blushing?”
Ploy’s hand stroked the scabbed lower lip that she had bitten. “You’re just a dog at times.”
Jessadaporn chuckled, “Yeah?” He licked the sore bit on his lips, “I must have been a jerk for you to smack me. You must have bit me too, huh?”
Ploy broke out laughing, “Yes, you’re such an ass hole. I should’ve hit you harder.”
Jessadaporn folded his arm around his bare muscled chest and stepped back, “Well, maybe because you’re hot.” He leaned in for her, but Ploy was faster and jumped off the counter and ran off through the open door to the distance.
Ploy yelled at him from the shore, “You wouldn’t run out here to get me!”
Jessadaporn watched her cutely stuck out her tongue at him. “You bet? You better run because if I catch you, then I’m going to have my ways with you!” He ran out not giving a care that he was in his birthday suit. Ploy let out a girlish shrill. He tackled her easy and landed on top of her.
“Je, this is crazy. It’s daytime.”
“But that’s the thrill. It’ll be like a first time.” Jessadaporn tucked her hair behind her ear. “Tell me you don’t feel this electricity. My hairs are all standing up.” He got off her, and stood up and held his hand out to her. Ploy meekly took his hand. Jessadaporn held her hand tight and he danced and shook his butt at her.
Ploy brought her other hand to cover her eyes, “I can’t see anything.” Jessadaporn chuckled at his blushing wife.
`````````````````````````````````

There was some decency in this amnesic Jessadaporn. He came back showered and dressed in a short and white undershirt. “What’s for dinner?”

“Seafood stir-fry and tom yum goong. I’m just waiting on tom yum goong to boil.”

“Then I’ll watch the soup and set the table, you go wash up, okay?” Jessadaporn grabbed her shoulder and pushed her toward the bedroom.

Ploy looked at him ogling her butt, “Jessadaporn!”

“Sorry!” He let go of her and turned away.

Quarter hour later, she was back in another fresh long shirt with towel dried hair. Ploy was surprised at the light darkening so quickly. And she gasped at the candles on the dinner table outside in the patio. Jessadaporn pulled the chair out for her. They sat across from each other mesmerize in the moment like a couple on their first date.

“Hi stranger.”

Ploy smiled, “Hi, my name is Ploy Boonyasak.”

“Nice to meet you. My name is Jessadaporn—what’s my last name?”

“Pholdee.”

“My name is Jessadaporn Pholdee. So how did I land you?”

“The first time I saw you; you had a halo. I was just standing there camaflouge among the others, you gave a smile straight at me, maybe it wasn’t meant for me, but that smile was all it took.”

Jessadaporn smiled slow and wide for her, “Like this?”

Ploy smiled and placed her hand on top of his and held it there, “Just like that.”

“I’m starving—Ops, is that too unromantic. Sorry, everything smells so good.” He dished them rice and they started to eat.

“Am I a good hubby? I don’t snore or fart or lay around being a stump.”

“Nope.”

“No?” Jessadaporn ate loudly and slurped the soup. He looked at her and raised his brows, “Oh, but really? What were we doing here?”

Ploy hesitated then smiled, “We have been through a lot. But we were going to work everything out here. So…so this was like our second honeymoon.” Jessadaporn started to eat very fast. “Wow, slow down a bit, what’s the hurry?”

He gave her a crooked grin, “You said this was our second honeymoon. I wanted to eat up and…” He let the sentence go unfinished then paused to look at her, “Do we do it a lot?” Ploy choked. He laughed. “You’re blushing again.” He spooned some stir-fry up to her, “Here, let me feed you, since you’re eating so slow. At your pace, I’ll going to have sit here hiding my hard on like a teenager for hours.” Ploy was feeling very warm and jittery. Ploy opened her mouth to eat the food his spoon offered. “Yummy?” Ploy nodded shyly. “Are you choking? Your face is all red?” He teased her and watched her turned even redder.

CHAPTER SEVEN - ABRIDGED VERSION

Jessadaporn carried her to the bed and place her softly on the covers. He kneeled on the bed and looked at her then survey the bedroom, “So do I usually wear condoms?”

“No.” Those two times he didn’t.

“No?” He smiled deviously, “I think I like my life.” He jumped on her and purposely put all of his weight on her. “You feel that.” He nudged his hardness at her belly. He kissed her, slow and wet. Ploy held him and he kissed him.

He unbuttoned her shirt and she lifted his undershirt off, and slowly they were naked—skin to skin. His touch was light as feather, but they were burning her. Their limbs were tangled and their slow foreplay turned carnal like two lovers experiencing the physical pleasure for the first time. Jessadaporn looked into eyes, “You’re beautiful.”

Ploy looked back at him and arched her back to get closer to him, “Enough talk.”

He entered her and her muscled hugged him tight. “Do we not do this often, you’re tight?”

If only he knew that she was inexperienced. Ploy kissed his chest and played with his little nipple, “No,” She held him close, “You’re just big.”

Jessadaporned let out a chuckle, “I’m feeling very horny right now.” He pulled and entered her again, then he pushed, and he looked down at her annoyed, “Can you stop squeezing me?”

Ploy pouted, “I can’t help it. You don’t like it?”

“I like it, but I’m horny. I want to go fast.” He kissed her, “Wrap your legs around me.” He guided her legs to link around him, “I don’t know about how we were before, but I want to create this moment between us, so that when I remember, we can add this to our memories.” They moved together like a hot lava tsunami and after the climax, they snuggled and explored each other through the night.

```````````````````````````````
The late morning sun was fighting its way into the bed. “Je, don’t. I’m tired.” Ploy felt him climbed on top of her. Jessadaporn started to kiss her face. She pushed him, “You’re a jerk. You wouldn’t let me rest last night at all.” Jessadaporn frowned and nudge his erection at her.
“Your naughty butt kept moving evocatively on my poor man. You woke him up.” Ploy looked at him puppy eyes her. Slowly a smile crawled on her face, “That’s a yes, right?” He didn’t wait as he started to excite her and they made love to the music of seagulls.
Half an hour later, Jessadaporn was showered and walked over to the bed and watch his wife sleeping. He stroked her tangled and kissed her forehead. “I’m going to go cook us some food.” When Jessadaporn was done with their late brunch, he entered the room and he jumped on the bed and cuddled Ploy’s small body. “Wakey, wakey, my blushing bride.”
Ploy turned to him and opened her eyes reluctantly. “Stop hugging me or you’re going to blame me again for waking up your man again.”
Jessadaporn chuckled, “You’re right.” He released her and brought the blanket to cover her breasts, “Better cover up too or you’re never going anywhere but this bed.” He gave her a peck on her cheek, “Shower up and let’s go eat.”
Ploy sniffed the air, “I’m starving.” Then she realized what she had said out loud and what it applied and she blushed. Then Ploy reached for the loose sheets to wrap around her and she walked to the bathroom. He was used to her apparent modesty and he smiled looking at the twisted sheets. Memories of their love making made his smile wider.
“You made this?” Ploy looked at the Kao Tum.
Jessadaporn turned to her. She was only wearing his thin long undershirt and he can see her everything. “Are you purposely trying to drive me crazy?”
Ploy looked down at herself, “Well, you dragged me here so abruptly, I don’t even have a baggage. It’s your fault.”
“Oh, it’s my fault now, huh? I don’t think I can chew and look at you at the same time and not choke”
Ploy puffed her chest. “Then who was it yesterday who was wearing his birthday suit.” She bravely sat on the chair and started to eat.
“Suddenly bold now, huh?” Then he stood up and unbuttoned his blue flowered beach shirt.
“Jessadaporn! I’m eating!”
“I’m just giving you a show.”
She shut her eyes, “You better keep your shorts on.”
“Okay, I will if you wear this shirt over your obvious method to distract me. You’re blushing up and down, left and right, but I bet you secretly want to tease me.”
“I so do not!”
“Okay, then put it on.” He handed his shirt to her.
Ploy put it on. “Now are you satisfied?”
Jessadaporn sat down and started to eat, “I’m just being a gentleman. You’re coming so strong on me. I got to put up some boundaries or we are seriously going to be wild chimpanzees.”
“I am not a chimpanzee.”
“No? Then who wanted doggy style last night?”
Ploy threw the pepper shaker at his proud laughing chest. “I can’t believe you just said that!”
“I can’t believe you thought that mere undershirt was clothing?”
“You keep teasing me about my blushing, so I braved up to get at you.”
“I like you when you blush.” He raised his brows teasingly. “But can we keep covered long enough to eat and get our strength and enjoy the day without me thinking about taking you.”
“Let’s go swimming, make sand castles, go seashell hunting and--.”
“I am not going to go do those childish and girlish things with you.”
“Then I’m not going to do those adult chimpanzee things with you.” Ploy watched him frowned, then, they
broke out laughing.
`````````````````

The sun was setting and they were enjoying a light dinner picnic on the cool sand. Jessadaporn felt a flash in his head, and a series of memories came to him. Ploy set her orange juice down and watched him concerned. “Are you okay?”

Slowly Jessadaporn nodded and then a few minutes later he spoke, “Yeah, I just remember who I am.” He looked at her, “No wonder I got you. I’m a pretty cool guy.”

Ploy looked worried, “What do you remember?”

“It’s as if I never forgotten them, I have it all, but I can’t remember you yet. But I remember last night very well.” He leaned over and kissed her full of desire. Slowly, he dissolved that dreadful feeling from her and soon, they were tangled on the small picnic blanket stirring up a fire.

CHAPTER EIGHT - ABRIDGED VERSION

The sun was burning their naked skin. Ploy woke up and poked at Jessadaporn. “Je, wake up, your butt is going to get sunburned.”

Jessadaporn stirred lazily, “I let you slept in last morning. It was your fault last night; you keep wanting to be on top.”

“If you wake up, we can experiment in the sea.”

Just like that, he sat up and rubbed his eyes. He looked all darkly handsome with shaggy hair and his poking through facial hair. He was suddenly all energized. He stared at her naked flawless body imprinted with his love marks. “I’m awake.”

Ploy stood up and walked into the warm sea. Jessadaporn ran in after her. They ended up laughing and chasing each other to indulge in their passion with the waves imitating their movements.

A few days later. “Are you feeling okay?” He stoked her back, trying to sooth her nausea.

Ploy rinsed her mouth, “Yeah.”

Jessadaporn looked at her like he just figured out a secret. He folded arm and stood very macholy in front of her, “If I can remember the times we have made love, I would say you’re pregnant.” Her brain registered the word and slowly, she looked at Jessadaporn like he was God giving her a revelation. Ploy jumped and hugged Jessadaporn. He laughed, knowing what her actions meant. “So, how many months?”

Ploy broke the embrace and full of smiles she knew exactly when. “5 weeks.”

Jessadaporn walked her to sit on the bed, “I’m going to call Grandma and tell her the good news. And we should get you to a doctor for a checkup.” He froze for a while, just looking at her. He hugged her again, “I can’t believe I’m a dad.” He felt a proud balloon inflating inside of him, expanding. Jessadaporn cuddled her, “I love you.”

Ploy’s heart exploded. In the last few days since his amnesia, everyday have passed so fast and she have completely given her life to him and he did too. She stared at him, “Say that again.”

He held her right in front of him. “I love you Ploy.”

Ploy cried on his chest and clung to him, “Je, I love you.”

Those words brought a strange bolt of lightning through him, and it brought back to him the remaining series of heartbreaking memories in his life. Suddenly, he realized what the last few days was. Jessadaporn quickly pushed her away. “Don’t dare utter those cunning words to me!!!”

Ploy was shocked at his sudden change of attitude. She reached for him, but he shook her off. “I remembered everything, Ploy. How can you let me--?” He grabbed her. “Fuck. You screwed me over again. You took advantage of my memory lost and condition me to love you. You even think you can trap me with this bullshit made up story of you being pregnant?”

“I knew that you would get your memory back, but I thought that what we had the last few days can prove to you that I’ve changed. Tell me that you do not love me right now.”

Jessadaporn opened his mouth, but he failed to produce those words. He looked at her flat stomach. “I applaud at the length you went this time. But the last few days only proved one thing—and that is time you’re even more cunning than before. This time you even fashioned up a pregnancy when we both know best that you had a hysterectomy.”

All of the color washed off Ploy’s face. This new piece of information is going to blow her covers. “Ploy can’t ever be pregnant.”

“Yes, you never had any plans for a family. You made that very clear after the marriage. You’re selfish.” He had that killer look in his eyes again. Jessadaporn threw her on the bed and quickly caged her.

Ploy hit him. This can’t happen. “Je. You can’t do this to me. Please! I BEG YOU!!!”

Jessadaporn quickly ripped the one shirt she was wearing off and he had her at his access. “Let’s continue where we left off.”

Ploy pushed at his chest. “OKAY! You want the divorce. I’ll do whatever you want. Just don’t hurt me.” Her hand stroked her tummy, but she quickly covered her movement by pulling her ripped shirt around her.
Jessadaporn climbed off her. “This was too easy. You got to be plotting another plan.”

Ploy clenched her shirt tails closer at her belly. She needed to think fast. “I came back because I knew United Thai Bank’s values increased. So I regretted you. I thought I can come back, but you changed, so I used Grandma. At the moment Grandma named me CEO, I was going to cash out. But then she gave me all the Pholdee assets too, so I decided to stay until she dies to cash out in one shot, but you caught me.” He seemed satisfied with her confession.

Ploy played the last card, “I will go if you give 500 million US dollars.”

“That’s a big chunk, Ploy.”

Right now, she has to walk off safely with her baby. She had to be credible. If she just walked off not demanding anything, he would be suspicious. “It’s nothing compare to what I will get if I wait out to cash out at the end. I don’t want to wait 10 years for her to die? If I cash out now, I can get back on the market rich already. I’ll grab famous flings and get the lifestyle I desire.”

“At the end, your true colors have shown. You’re right. 500 million. That’s nothing to me.” Jessadaporn grabbed her off the bed, “Let’s settle this with lawyers before you change your mind.” He pulled out his smallest short and one of his plain grey jogging shirt to her, “Dress up, we’re going right now.”

```````````````````````````````
She fumbled with her hands sitting on her lap, but in reality, she was self-consciously hugging her tummy. “Jessadaporn, can you drive more carefully?”
“Want me to drive slowly, so you can have the time to think of a way out.”
“No! Can you please play attention to road please! I don’t want to get in a car accident.”
“Don’t want to die before you can celebrate your 500 million?” He slowed down, “I’ll slow down. It doesn’t make a difference. We’re only going into the city. I had Lawyer Ton flown in. We’ll be there in 10 minutes.”
They entered the bank branch in Phuket and lawyer Ton was waiting for them.
“Hello, Lawyer Ton.”
“Hello, Khun Jessadaporn.” He turned to Ploy, “Khun Ploy.”
“Ploy has settled to divorce.”
“Khun Ploy, is this true?”
“Yes, I asked for a 500 million settlement, and Khun Jessadaporn has agreed. And I don’t wish to be CEO anymore.”
“I described the provision to you already. Did you revise the divorce papers?”
“Khun Jessadaporn. I heard you had some slight memory loss, are you consciously making these calls?””
“Yes.” Jessadaporn sated firmly.
“This is unfortunate. Your Grandma is happy at home. She called me to set a trust fund for her great grandson, announcing that out this trip away, Khun Ploy will return with child. You’re not pregnant, right Khun Ploy, because that will change everything?”
All of the oxygen in her swooshed out, and she felt lighted headed, but she responded, “No.” She felt like it was the fattest lie she ever gave.
“That matter is impossible.” Lawyer Ton handed the documents to Jessadaporn. He signed it and he passed the papers to Ploy. Ploy signed quickly. He looked at her with a triumph smile, “I’ll transfer the money to your bank account.”
“You got what you want. I’m leaving.” She can’t believe that at the end, she failed to bring her Jessadaporn back. But she couldn’t risk him finding her out. He’ll hate her even more and be colder. At the least, she will have the last few days of memories to keep and also gets a little piece of him to keep. Maybe they were not meant to be.
A sad smile spread across her face. At least, in this last moment, she can send her message to him that he had never given her the chance to. “Grandma waits for you every day. Being number one in business cannot be measure in profit. There’s no point of you making a dollar, if you take a hundred homes from the poor, kill a thousand in the process, or bulldoze over a million dreams. The Jessadaporn I know is intelligent, laughs openly, and strives to make the world a better place.” Ploy walked out and in the elevator, she stroked her tummy. “Je, this is all I want.”
CHAPTER NINE - ABRIDGED VERSION
“You divorced Ploy?” Grandma was outraged. “She called to say you two were making up. She was covering up for your ass, huh? What did you do to her to get her to agree to the divorce?”
“Grandma, why do you jump to the conclusion that I did something bad?”
“Well did you not?”
“She was stubborn sticking to her bullshit story! I had to get the truth out of her!”
“You’re a cold bastard. Don’t you know that Ploy was pregnant?!!”
“She pulled that fast move on you too. Yeah, before I got my memory back, she even dared tell me she was pregnant. What an actress?”
“You’re a fool. Can’t you see? She found out she was pregnant with your child. Then you slap her in the face and ask for a divorce. If she was pulling a fast move, she would’ve tied you right there. But nooooo. She didn’t give a voice to her condition and she agreed so quickly to your agreement because she knew that you’re hopeless to bring around.”
“You got quite an imagination Grandma. But you don’t know her, she had a hysterectomy.”
Something conflicting crossed Grandma’s face. “But the doctored told me so and I saw her blood test with my own eyes. The resulted stated pregnant. I got a copy right here.” She walked over to her study and opened a drawer and handed it to Jessadaporn.
Jessadaporn was ready to get a look at the fake documents. But they were dated, signed, and certified lab test. He saw the high report of estrogen and progesterone concluding in a statement that the patient is pregnant. He looked at his grandma. “Ploy isn’t blood type AB.” He felt his whole world flip upside down.
```````````````````````````````````

“I want the DNA run and compared for an identity match.” He hung up. He had just made a 20 million donation to the hospital to get them to give first priority to his request.

Jessadaporn called again for Ploy, but again he got the same message that the number no longer exist. He punched in another number.

“Hello, Khun Jessadaporn.”

“Hi. Jane. I’m trying to get in contact with Ploy for her to pick up her belongings.”

“She said you two are finally going your own ways. She gave me a called last night and hired me to be to be the director of her Foundation. She wired over the money she received from her selling her clothes line. Can you believe her, she settled for 7 million less because, she rather sell it to the Green Clothes Brand. But what is weird is that the amount turned out to be 500 million more. I tried calling her about it but couldn’t.”

He didn’t need to hear anymore. Jessadaporn hung up and then dialed for United Thai Bank.

“Hi, Khun Jeed.”

“Hello Khun Jessadaporn.”

“Can you check Ploy’s account?”

After some quick tapping, “She closed her account this morning along with all associated cards.”

“What was her last account activity?”

“There’s a transaction for…uh a plane ticket for Air France.”

“Thanks.” He hung up. Damn, he knew that he was too late. Jessadaporn climbed out of his car sitting in traffic in the middle of a bridge and he walked out into rail. Then he tilted his head back to cry and look a plane flying overhead.

Then his phone rang. It was the lab. All he needed to hear was the confirmation on the name what was invading his heart. Usamanee Vatayuanun. His worst fear was right. He stood there dead to the world. Four monthly ago, he stood on this same spot, feeling the same pain with the same name echoing in his heart.

He had told her he didn’t want to see her face again. And as he was driving to the airport, his thoughts of asking Ploy to forgive him turned into him asking Usamanee to forgive him instead. Then images flashed in his head of the times she picked up his dry clean or ordered his lunch or put on that smile of her to cheer him up. He had turned his car around. But he only found her blood stain on his bed sheets. He searched for her and ended up on the bridge, letting the rain beat some sense into him. And then the phone call came. “Khun Pholdee, I’m calling to inform you that your wife Ploy Boonyasak has been involved in an airplane accident...”

He had driven to the hospital. As the doctors and nurses tend to his Ploy, he heard the news report naming the victims. The name Usamanee Vatayanun stole the beat from him. “Where are the victims of the crash?” He demanded to the nurses. He went to the morgue and he looked at her charred body. He buried her in a nice plot in the countryside. For the next two month, he only thought about how he had overlooked her. He hated Ploy for being alive. It was his fault—Ploy’s fault—that Usamanee was dead.

Arghhhhhhh!!!” Jessadaporn let out his damn frustration. Everything was falling into pieces. Right afterwards, she had come to him to confess that she was not Ploy. But he didn’t believe. He clenched his fist. What the heck was Usamanee thinking was taking Ploy’s identity. Inside of him, he knew the answer. It was the answer she provided to him all those times—that she have changed and she loved him. Everything made sense.

She failed so badly at being Ploy. Flashback ran over him. Her jumping up in happiness to hug him, as he suggested she was pregnant and had told him the right to the weeks. The shocking look on her face when he declared that Ploy had a hysterectomy. Her blushes and awkwardness in their love-making. He let the realization hit him; he had truly fallen for her, even with her front as Ploy. He wished himself dead. Again she was right in front of him, and he didn’t see her.

Then he remembered her last sad smile at him along with her last words. Grandma waits for you every day. And being number one in business cannot be measure in profit. There’s no point of you making a dollar, if you take a hundred homes from the poor, kill a thousand in the process, or bulldoze over a million dreams. The Jessadaporn I know is intelligent, laughs openly, and strives to make the world a better place. He had never felt like this. A millions emotions overwhelmed him. And he knew that one day, they’ll surely meet again, and he’ll make her his forever, but for now, he had to be the best man waiting for her.

CHAPTER TEN - ABRIDGED VERSION

Five years later.

“Kru Usa. My mother asked if you can drop by our house to translate this jargon letter we got yesterday.”

She smiled at her best student Ceewat, “I’ll come around after I pick up Win.”

“Thank you, Kru.” Then he hopped off to join his buddies walking into the open green lush of rice fields that lined all the way to touch the horizon. She loved her home. Her parents had died, but everyone in this village took care of her. She was the star of the village as she won a scholarship to study in the big city as the first to go to college. No one in her outside life knew this about her.

She can’t believe she have been here five years. She did reconstruction back to her own face in France, and returned back to her home. The village was cut off from the world, and she was able to live her identity. She had given birth to her chubby, cute son.

Her heart jumped, she misses him. Usamanee quickly erased the grammatical English sentences on the chalkboard. Her baby was waiting for her. From a few houses back, she heard her son laughing, and she quicken her steps.

“Win!” She opened her arms to him, and he quickly ran into her.

“Mommy.” The 4 year old Jessawin clapped his hands energetically. “Guess what Grandpa made me? Guess, Mommy.”

“You’re awfully hyper. Don’t tell me Grandpa made you those sweet candies again?”

He shook his head as his longish black hair swing in play. “No.”

“No? Then Mommy’s at lost.” She knew her son liked to tell her of his adventures.

“Grandpa made me a horseplay stick.” He walked over to the porch and brought the stick for her to see. “See. I saw Lom had one his daddy made him...” Then just like that, Win clamped up and looked silently at his mom.

Usamanee patted his head, “Come on, go grab your jacket. We’re going to stop at Auntie Juang’s house.” Little Win ran into the house and Usamanee walked to the old couple that raised her. “Grandpa, thank you for making him that horse stick. I saw him at sharing one with the Khun Tong’s kid. I knew he wanted his own one, but he never asks for anything.”

Grandma waved her thank you away, “Usa, this old stump need to make use of his existence. You’re going to Juang’s place?”

“Yes, she got a letter that needs calcification.” Win laughed and ran out of the house mounted on the stick and started to ride in the yard.

Grandpa tilted his head to the racing Win. “You better get him to a bath.”

Usamanee laughed, “He thinks that dirt on his clothes and face is manly. I’m going to get going before it gets any darker. Granny, stay warm.” She walked to her son and held out her hand, “Come on you super knight.” They trotted away in laughter.

```````````````````
Usamanee’s face lighted up. She looked at Juang and her husband Chai, the head of the village. “We got the proposal!”
“Usa, what does it say?”
“There are a lot of technical words, but it says our proposal was granted. We are going to get a water pipe, paved road to the main one, and a new school house. The 1000 Paper Crane Foundation will bring a representative, and they’re going to start building next week.”
Ceewat looked admirably at his teacher. “I can’t believe your proposal was granted. We tried for years before to get the government or any agency to get a mere road there.”
Chai nodded this head. “We thank you for writing the proposal.”
Little Win who was eating a popsicle sitting next to Juang and addressed Chai, “Uncle Chai, Mommy wrote that paper for days. She can make them build a gold temple here if she wanted too.”
Everyone cracked out laughing. Usamanee asked her little son, “When did you understand pipes, pave roads, proposals, and foundations? These days you pick up on things way too quick.”
Chai patted Win’s little head, “Bright like your mom, huh?”
“P’Juang. I’ll take my leave now. That little knight needs to bathe.”
``````````````````````````````````

She liked this part the best, when her knight was sleeping by her side. She kissed his shampooed hair and closed her eyes feeling content. Then she felt her baby turned and sat. Usamanee opened her eyes and sat up too. “I thought you were asleep.”

She knew that child were bad at hiding their emotions and she felt that her baby was had troubling thoughts. “Mommy, it’s okay to cry.”

“Win, what are you talking about?”

“You cry sometimes, when you think I’m asleep, like last night.” She hugged her baby tight.

“Jeesawin...” She patted him. “Sometimes, in the middle of the night, I wake up and you’re just so precious. I think about how you’re growing up to be just like your Daddy. And it makes Mommy happy.”

She felt the interest in him pike, just like every time she mentioned his daddy, but he never probes her for more. “Mommy, I love you.” He swiped his mommy’s tears.

````````````````````````````````
Everyone in the village putted on their best clothes. Headman Chai’s house was decorated with colorful flags and there was a celebratory tone in the air. One of the workers from the Foundation that have been here for week now announced, “I just talked to the director, she and the Founder will be here in a few minutes.” Everyone crowded around the road, waiting to get a peak of this kind billionaire that approved their proposal and traveled the distance to visit their village.
The mud on the wheels did not hide the expensive shine of the Land Rover. The villagers talked in anticipation, as the car stopped in front of the crowd. Then the door opened and a middle age women dressed for the warm countryside weather stepped out wearing hat that blocked a part of her face. The driver’s door side opened, but the tall Land Rover blocked the figure. “This is Khun Janita Yosawan, the Director and this is…”
Jane? Everything around Usamanee froze. Then the name Jessadaporn Pholdee rung in her ears. Then she can only see that smile on his face as he rounded the front of the car looking handsome and comfortable in a loose dark green shirt and khaki cargo short. And it was like de ja vu, as he surveyed the crowd and he stopped and looked right at her. And it was just like the first time. He smiled at her and she was doomed.
“Usa.” Usamanee realized that Juang was calling her, “Aren’t you going to give him the welcome bouquet.”
Ceewat had already presented his bouquet to Jane. Usamanee tried to not look at the halo on Jessadaporn. She reminded herself that there was nothing to be afraid of; to him, she was dead. She needed to keep her calm and then find her baby and get him far away as possible from Jessadaporn. Usamanee told her feet to walk over.
“Hello, welcome to Sawan Namthai.” His stare was like he was x-raying her.
“You’re the one who wrote the intelligent proposal on the village behalf?” Jane held out her hand. “I was touched by your request.”
Usamanee was glad for the distraction, “Yes, thank you.” She shook Jane’s hand and smiled. “Enjoy your stay; this is Ceewat’s parents Khun Juang and Chai who is the Headman. Don’t hesitant to ask for anything. We want your stay to be comfortable to thank you for helping our village.” She turned to Juang, “I’m going to go find Win.”
CHAPTER ELEVEN - ABRIDGED VERSION
Usamanee walked out of there, holding her breathe. And she searched the yard that the kids were running around. She found Win’s best friend. “Lom, where’s Win?”
“Auntie, Win went with P’Fai and the other group to play at the waterfall clearing.”
She patted him. “Thanks. You’re a life saver.”
And she started to walk quickly into the trail that leads to the waterfall clearing. Then that voice stopped her dead in her tracks, “You look like someone I know?” She frozen and couldn’t turned around, but he appeared in front of her. She kept her glaze at his chest.
“I’ve never known of you before.” Usamanee looked at the green trees that surround them—looking at anything but him.
“I heard Juang called you Usa. My friend is named Usamanee.”
She looked at him, “Usamanee is a typical name.” She walked around him, walking faster to get to her baby.
Jessadaporn watched her walk away. He couldn’t help the smile on his face. God have finally intersected their life again. He never thought to find her here. He ran after her and grabbed her arm and twisted her around, “Usamanee may be a common name, but your face, I can remember it anywhere.”
She was losing her cool, “Let me go.” He did. “Don’t mistake me for a dead person.” She hated that she blurted too much out and now he was smiling that smile that melts her.
“Usamanee Vatayanun, you never died. You never died in my heart.”
“I don’t know you.” She ran the rest of the clearing, but found it empty. She turned around, and he was blocking her again.
“Look at me.” Jessadaporn look at her eye to eye. “First, you sink at lying. Second, we’ve been apart for painfully way too long. And third, where’s my child?”
“Jessadaporn, you’re full of it.” Usamanee pushed at him.
He hugged her and he held her tight. He placed his chin on her shoulder. “I’ve overlooked you twice. I’m not losing you for the third time.” He held her tighter to cease her wiggles for release. “You watched me for 5 years of my marriage. Then you took the hardest job of living as Ploy to bring me back. Listen to me, I love you then when you’re my assistant, then posing as Ploy, and I never stopped loving you.”
Usamanee knew everything had blow up. He seemed to have her figured out, “You said you never wanted to see me again. I don’t know what I was thinking playing God and living as Ploy to try to change you back, but no, you’re impossibly cruel!”
Jessadaporn let her hit him and he let her go. He chased after her, and walked a step behind her, asking her questions, “So, when did you fell for me? I was a jerk, huh? By the way, you make the best coffee. Did I ever tell you when I realized I love you all along? How does our son look?”
They were back at Chai’s yard. Usamanee looked around, “Where’s everybody?”
Jessadaporn walked toward the house, “In the house.”
Usamanee gave him an ugly look, “I’m not deaf.” She pushed through him purposefully and knocked his shoulder hard. She had to get to her son before Jessadaporn sees her little knight. She climbed the wooden steps. She saw the children sitting in a corner and the adults conversing all around.
“Kru, Lom said you where looking for Win?” Another of her student Fai asked. “Your knight is playing with the kids in Ceewat’s room.”
She headed for the open room. Then that tall statue was in front of her again.
“Khun Jessadaporn, you’re back.” Jane walked over and looked at Usamanee, “You got her back.” Jane looked at her, “Everyone is talking about you how you are the star of the village.”
“Sorry, I was looking for my—uh my son.”
Ceewat joined the conversation, “Kru Usa is like that, her mind is always on her son. He’s only 4, but he’s super smart like her.”
“More like the father.” Usamanee’s jaw dropped at the bomb that Jessadaporn just dropped. She turned to give him her most scary look. Everyone was looking at them. Jessadaporn smiled at the on-lookers, “Don’t worry, she gives me that killer look all the time.” He knew that he got on her nerve.
Usamanee quickly grabbed on his arm as if she can shut him down, “Ur….”
He smiled wider at the crowd who on catching on that there was smoothing between their village hero and this kind billionaire. “What Usamanee is trying to say is that I’m her husband.” The faces of his Foundation’s workers to Jane to the villagers were now in deep shock. They spoke at the same time.
“You see—.”
“No, he’s not--.”
“Kru!!! Something’s wrong! Win is choking!!!”
Usamanee jumped and ran to Ceewat’s room. The children were huddled in a corner, and Lom was crying next to his friend. “Win..Winnn….”
Usamanee embraced her son and rested his head on her lap. Her mother instincts were on red alert. “What wrong baby?” His face was red and he was kicking in pain and she saw hives breaking out on him.
Jessadaporn dropped right beside her, and it was the most beautiful natural phenomenal. He looked right at his own flesh and blood and it was like he was looking at himself. He looked at his baby fighting in pain and his love crying. He looked around and saw a candy wrapper on the floor. The villager crowded the room looking concern trying to help.
Jessadaporn looked up at Usamanee and held up the candy wrapper. “Is he allergic to peanuts?’
Usamanee scream-cried at his ambiguous question. “Why would he be allergic to peanuts?!!”
“Because I am.” Everything clicked in him. He hollered to his workers, “Get me my bag from the car right now.” A long 20 seconds later, he was handed his bag. Quickly, he found his syringe and the bottle of epinephrine. He had given himself the shot three unfortunate times in his life. He prepared it a second and inserted it into the small thigh of his son. It only took a few second for little Win to start coughing again as he grasp for breathe. And slowly, like a miracle, he started to breathe better and he turned to Usamanee.
“Mommy…”
“My brave knight, where are you hurt?”
“All over mommy.” And he held her tightly.
Jessadaporn quickly pulled out his cell phone, “Hello, this is Jessadaporn Pholdee. I need the Flight for Life unit right now in the village Sawan Namthai. My 4 year old son is having an anaphylactic reaction to peanut allergy. I got him stable with epinephrine. I will have someone wave up a flag for landing.”
Jessadaporn picked up his son. “We need a clearing wide enough for a helicopter landing.”
Chai came up to Jessadaporn, “Just right outside, my buffalo’s grass pasture is wide enough.”
Jessadaporn looked at his other side, and Usamanee was holding his hand, and he felt like he can take the world head on any day with his wife and son by his side.
CHAPTER TWELVE - ABRIDGED VERSION
“He’s going to be alright. Is there anything else I should know?”
Usamanee looked at Jessadaporn. He looked at the doctor, “Uhmm, we just found out that he’s has peanut allergy. But just to be safe. In addition to peanut, my son might be allergic to latex and rubbing alcohol.”
“Thank you, Khun Pholdee. Your son will be safe all because you donated that flight unit to us this year. In the rural like this, emergencies are the most fatal.”
Usamanee looked at him, ready to strangle him. “You’re allergic to peanuts, latex, and rubbing alcohol? You got a bad pool of genes!”
Jessadaporn crossed his arms, smelling a fight, “He’s safe. Now all I have to worry about is you murdering me.”
“You’re right!” She started to beat him, and he let her. She was crying and slowly she lost her strength in hitting him. “You’re such a jerk! Does he look like me? I’m her husband?” She swiped her tears to give her a clearer look at him. “Why are you smiling?”
“When I found you out five years ago, I’ve been wondering about how we would meet again, how I’m going to win you over?”
Usamanee smacked his shoulder again. “Don’t think you can drop in?”
“I’ve changed.” He lifted his arm in the air to have her check him out. “I named your Foundation the 1000 Paper Cranes and my Bank is the continual source fund. I’m cleaned. I’m living with my grandma. I’m celibate.” He raised his brows at her, “I’m the Jesus born again.” He leaned at her, thrusting his pelvic at her.
Usamanee frowned at him and pushed him off and hit him again, “Jessadaporn, you sure got--.”
The doctor came out, “Your son looks just like you, Khun Pholdee.” Two nurses wheeled little Win out, “They are taking him to a room. I’ll like to have him stay overnight.” He looked to Jessadaporn, “A nurse will be out shortly for paperwork.”
The doctor left. Usamanee and Jessadaporn followed their wheeled son. As they neared the room, a nurse came out and asked, “Can a parent come with me to handle the paperwork.”
Jessadaporn looked at Usamanee, “You go. I don’t even know his name.”
She narrowed her eyes at him but turned to go with the nurse.
He watched her walk away, and he turned to see his little replica sitting on the bed. He entered and slowly like the first person on the moon, he inched toward his son.
“Are you my daddy?” Jessadaporn nodded and sat on the bed side and looked at the brave 4 year old. Jessadaporn held out his hand. Slowly, little Win took his hands and shook it. Then little Win raised his tiny hand to examine close up, “Will I be big like you?”
Jessadaporn laughed, “Yes, maybe even taller.”
“Wow, no way! You’re a giant!”
He looked at his son, “What have your mother told you about me?”
Win looked downed like he was contemplating his loyalty, and then looked up at the man that he had always wondered about. All of his friends had daddies, and today he finally meets his own one. “Mommy doesn’t talk about you at all. You know girls, she cries a lot when she gives these looks at me. She keeps pinching my cheeks like a baby and tells me that I remind her of you.”
“Yeah? You do look like me.”
“Yeah.”
Jessadaporn felt so natural with his son, “You’re mommy is going to kick me out of here the moment she’s back. Daddy’s been bad, but…” He smiled, “I’m going to win her over.”
Little Je nods his head, “Mommy’s a hard one to win over. She makes me shower all the time. She doesn’t get it. Boys and dirt are meant to mix.”
Jessadaporn cracked out laughing then he looked at his son full of love, “Can I hug you?”
The kid jumped at the opportunity and held on his daddy tight, “Are you going to stay?”
“Yeap. We got to make up for the lost time. I’m going to go buy you a bike so we can go riding together. What’s your favorite color?”
“Red.”
“Like the Red Power Ranger?”
“What’s Power Ranger?” Jessadaporn remember that the village was still in the stone age.
“Oh, you’re going to like Power Rangers.” He reached for his phone, “Hello, Best Electronic. I would like all the Power Ranger movie you have in stock and the biggest TV you have. Yes. Jessadaporn Pholdeee. Visa…” He recited his credit card number and patted his son’s hair, “Send to Ratchai Hospital…” He turned to his son, “What’s your name?”
“Jessawin.” Then little Win spoke to himself. “Wow, our names are similar.”
Jessadaporn smiled and spoke into the phone, “For Jessawin Pholdee.” He hung up and he smiled. Saying his sons name brought his a warm feeling.
He caught Usamanee at the door. He quickly gave Jessawin a peck. “If mommy get upset later about the Power Ranger, tell her that she’s not fun at all.” Little Win nodded.
“Win?” Usamanee pushed Jessadaporn away and hugged her son, “What you make my son agree to?” She looked at her son, “What did he talk to you about?”
“Mommy, why didn’t you tell me that Daddy is Superman! He gave me that shot and I was able to breathe.” Jessadaporn gave his son a thumb up. Then he stole the papers on her hands.
Jessadaporn scanned the documents, “He’s born on New Year’s day? This kid sure knows how to make an entrance.” He looked at Usamanee, “I’ll bring this paper to the reception. You got some information all wrong. It’s Jeesawin Pholdee not Vataynun, and on the blank biological father line, write Jessadaporn Pholdee, and my name alone will take care of the payment method.”
“Jessadaporn!” She gave him a swing of her arm.
“Our son is staring!” Little Je laughed.
Usamanee stopped and she stared him down, “Get out!”
He waved, “I’ll be back tomorrow, Win.”
“Get out!!!”
He closed the door to drown out her screaming him out. He held the paper in his arms and he learned everything he did about his son. He smiled. He knew exactly how he was going to win her over.
CHAPTER THIRDTEEN - ABRIDGED VERSION
Usamanee can’t believe he stole her son. She had let it go yesterday when the giant TV and hundreds of DVDs were delivered because her little knight had begged her to. But this morning, she woke up to a missing Je. She asked the nurse and they said that his father came to check him out already. He was raging war on her.
She pick up the pay phone to get that jerk a piece of her mind. He picked up on the first ring. “Jessadaporn! “You return my son right now!”
“Or else what? You’re going to call the cops? Well, I’m not scared. Because as it happens, I’m this only parent, cause technicly you don’t even exist.”
“Argh! I’m going to kill you when I get my hands on you.”
“Try then. I’m at the beach house bonding with MY son.”
“I’m coming over to get my son right now. You just stay right where you are and we’ll settle this out once and for all.”
“See you then, my beautiful.”
“JE--.” He hung up on her. “Argh!!!”
```````````````````````

We’re over—no—we never got started; so therefore, just let me be.”

He hugged her tighter, “No.”

“I can’t breathe.” She tried to push him off.

“Then you know how I feel. You make me forget to breathe and you just steal the heartbeat right out of me.” He loosened his hold on her a bit and placed her hand over his fast beating heart.

You may feel like I’m throwing the words around, but I’m not. There’s so many things that you need to hear from my heart.” A tear fell off his eyes. “You’re the one thing tha keeps me straight. The first time I saw you, I did smiled at you but only because you were smiling so wide at me first. Because I didn’t know love, so I overlooked you. If it wasn’t for you, I would have lost myself completely. Maybe, I didn’t deserve you then as a bastard, but now, I’m ready to be that man you envisioned.”

Jessadaporn wiped the tears from his eyes, “I lost you then and then again. You knew that I stared at the patch of blood stain on my sheets for days. I realized midway racing out to catch Ploy, that the person I should be racing to was you. I came back to find you, but you were gone. And when I heard that you died on that crash, and Ploy survived. God was spiting in my face. I hurted you the one I loved the most this whole time. Can you just give me a nod, say you love me bit.”

Usamanee stared at him and then she knocked him out of her way and ran for the open patio door. It was dark, and she just kept running. And before she realized that she was at the end of the dock, she had ran into the sea.

````````````````````````````````
Jessadaporn jumped right after her, and he grabbed her to. When his foot found the ground, he stopped and he ripped the tape off her mouth. “Did you not hear my heartfelt confession? I cried in front of you, and then you knock me over in response. You sure are hard to win over.”
“It’s too easy. I don’t trust you.”
He had suspected her of the same. “Then I guess I just have to be more convincing, huh, wifie.”
Jessadaporn purposely let go of her, and Usamanee impulsively looped her hands around his neck to prevent herself from drowning, “Je!” She hugged him.
He let her cling on him. Let her need him. “I like this pose.”
“Take me back to shore.”
“Nope, I’m done playing nice, cause you’re not even giving me a chance. We are going to freeze here all night, until you said you love me. Let it be a legend that in the sea, two lovers died and froze in an embrace so that they can be to together forever.”
She hated that she was hanging on to him for her life. “This isn’t something to romanticize about. I’m serious.”
“Says who? This is totally my definite of romantic.” He swooned in for her mouth before she can have her comeback and he was surprised. She didn’t fight him. She grabbed him closer.
He pulled out of her sweet lips, and licked his bottom lip, “Because of you, I’ve sex deprived for centuries.” He draped her legs over him, cupped her bottom here, and looked at her. “Now you’re going to get it bad.”
“JE! Let me down.” She kicked at his butt.
“That’s not doing you any good.” Usmanee felt him getting hard. “I’m thinking you’re right. Romantic isn’t the right tone. I like masochistic better.”
CHAPTER FOURTEEN - ABRIDGED VERSION
Her eyes didn’t widen fast enough, as he carried them out and into the bedroom. He tossed her on the bed unceremoniously.
Usamanee collected her wet self. She pointed at him, as if her finger was a gun. “This isn’t funny.”
“I’m not aiming for funny. I said masochistic.” He laughed anyway. He caught her eyes on the same lamp she had used to knock him out that last time he got rough on her. Jessadaporn grabbed the lamp and sent it crashing to the ground. “There’s goes your weapon.” He lunged for her and climbed roughly on top.
“Je. If you force me, I’ll hate you forever.”
“Ow. That’s harsh. I’ll stop if you say you love me.”
“What?”
“Say you love me.”
“Je, this got to stop.”
“See, your mouth is still stubborn. And I’m going to do it with you all through the night, perhaps it can jog your memory of your apparent big appetite. I am going to make you pregnant so you will be stuck with me. You don’t love me. Okay. It can be one-sided.” He liked how he was scaring her witless. He smiled at her, confusing her.
“Get off me. This isn’t funny.” She tried to push him off with her still taped wrists.
“Nope. I’m been saving myself all for you, and now you’re denying me? You’re hurting my ego.” He frowned.
“Don’t reject me, it makes me want you more.” Jessadaporn started to kiss her. Then he untapped her wrist and look at her. “Last chance to say you love me before I throw myself at you.”
“Je--.”
“No, not I love you?” He started to enjoy his act ripping their clothes off. He let out a laugh. “I like this rough play. No wonder people like sex play. Does this not turn you on?” He teased his erected at her, and he entered her.
She was cool from the sea, and moist. “Your mouth says no, but your body says otherwise.” He started to move seductively slow inside of her. Usamnee arched her back at the painful slow rhythm. Jessadaporn knew he got her. Usamanee let out the moan she had been biting down, and she hugged him, “Je…”
He missed that out of breathness in her calling him Je when they made love. “Yeah?”
“I want you…faster.”
“You love me?” She nods. “Say you love me.”
“I love you.” She said it so fast, and she heaved herself upward trying to get closer to him. That was all he needed. Say he tricked her, say whatever. He knew he was playing dirty, but there’s nothing wrong with a little shortcut. He kissed her and he showed her just how much he loved her.
`````````````````

It was morning. Jessadaporn woke up to her pouting angrily at him, and he knew that the clouds were clearing. “Don’t look at me like that—I’m scared.”

Usamanee tackled him and started to swing and kick for all her worth at him.

“You’re suck a jerk! Low-balling such a low move!” Then her soreness hit her, “Ow.” Usamanee stopped and closed her eyes to the slight pain.

She liked how he called her.

“Okay!” He hugged her back in, and he stroke her, starting to arouse her, “I love you.” He whispered is into her ears and he started to kiss down her neck.

She grabbed him, “I love you, Je.” They kissed like crazy.

`````````````````````````````````````````
A week full of make-up sex later, they returned.
“Mommy! Daddy!” Jessawin ran to hug Jessadaporn’s long leg.
“You got so much bigger.” Jessadaporn swung his son on his shoulder.
Grandma walked over and hugged Usamanee. “Oh, my precious, why you tried to take such a burden.”
“Grandma, have you been well.”
“I feel like I’m getting younger. Jessadaporn has been such a sweetie, but he’s starting to get old; so you can have him. I got my great-grandson here giving me a ten year life extension.”
“Yeah, Jessada is starting to get dull.”
This made Jessadaporn turned to Usamanee. He narrowed his eyes at her, “Dull?” He placed his son down and hugged her in front of the whole house. He looked at his grandma. “Grandma, you’re going to get a 100 years extension.” He scooped Usamanee into his arms and started to walk into the house.
Jessawin called out, “Daddy, where are you taking mommy?”
“You want a little brothers and sisters to play with?”
Little Je jumped, “I want like a whole power ranger army.”
Jessadaporn looked at her wiggling and blushing, “Mommy, you hear that, a whole army.”
“Je. I’m tired.”
“I can fix that.”
“No, this is crazy. You’re embarrassing me.”
“I can fix that.” He carried her up the stairs and dumped her on his bed. “Now, my chimpanzee. How should you like it fixed. Me on top or…” Usamanee jumped up and kissed him.
``````````````````````````````````
