Program for Dubbing

I don't think I've ever been asked this question before.
I'm sure there are tools out there for this but for some reason I am thinking its probably more like hardware and not software.
Although dubbing thru regular software should be easy enough to use regular programs such as Vdub and more extensive softwares like acid pro or adobe audition.
I'm assuming you're saying dubbing over a lakorn file right? If you're talking about dubbing over songs (like kaorake) its easy.
What you would probably do if you were doing a lakorn or a video is probably open it a software have insert your own voice in the line and merge the 2 audio tracks. You would probably lower the volume of the original track during the speaking moment.
Man thinking about it.. it sounds like alot of work.
