well, hell ya if you're gonna be selling stuff, your english has got to be good...jk...yeah, not bad. but i have to say that it's the 21st century and when you're living an area where you know tourist come through, there are definite ways to learn and practice speaking english. also, i believe that there is much turn over where english is dominating in schools...i think they still learn thai or lao, but instead of french or russian (from the communist era), students are learning english...so, hey, it's great that she's got a good command of the language, but i'm not shocked or surprised. i'd be more impressed hearing a Hmong-American, who has great command of the english language, speak fluently in thai or lao, in addition to fluent Hmong. that'd be a true site to see and hear.
