it has 2 options right? one is to activate online and one is to activate by phone? hahah been a long time since i installed it and I think thats how it went

activate by phone so you can manually add in the activation key instead of over the internet. You won't be able to do it thru the internet because your serial key is FAKE. And don't give them a call either as your key is fake. Phone activation is just so you can pretend like you are going to call them.
