thanks... it's fun and there's never a dull moment.. but it get's so complicating sometimes. We each have such different and strong personalities, that sometimes they clash.you're so lucky...you have 3 sisters... I always wanted to have more sisters but I only have 1...

she run fast she can, people didnt notice even her parents... nor Ann and Aum. she was already outside the reception, she continue running and didnt know where her feet wanted to go. while running, Aff cried, she just burst into tears. she cant seem to control her emotions anymore, she ignored everything, she ignored him... but she had enough hiding it and just cant resist herself anymore but to cry.
she stopped and ended up calling Joy, her bestfriend.
Aff: Joy...
Joy: Aff... what's up?
Aff: can i stay there at your pad for awhile?
Joy: why? what happened?
Aff: n-nothing... i... i... i just want to stay at your place for awhile. (she was trembling.)
Joy: girl... im in a casino right now...
Aff: huh? casino? i thought you already stop from gambling...
Joy: i know... im trying to stop but... i cant. tonight is my night, i feel so lucky... imagine, i won for 5 times already.
Aff: but... Joy.... i told you to stop that already...
Joy: girl, please dont lecture me right now. i cant concentrate. if you want, you can come here and get the keys of my pad. ok? i'll just text you the address of this casino because this is a private one.
her friend hang up the phone right away, then a message came in. her bestfriend Joy texted the address of the casino, she all thought that Joy already change and did promise not to gamble anymore. since she dont know where to go at all, only Joy could help her. so she went to the place where her friend is.

"let's go and find some room, i cant take it anymore...", he whispered on her ear. they were kissing and didnt care at all if someone sees them.... not until her sister Ploy and Pat saw them.
Pat: Rita... (she runaway to get their parents, for sure Rita will scold.)
Ploy: Rita~! (she pulled her sister from Chakrit. then she gave a Chakrit a hard slap.) if you dont our father to know this... get this man out of here~! (as she look at her sister, she was pointing at Chakrit at the same time)
Chakrit: (but then he caught her hand, he was getting mad already.) no one had slap me before... not even your sister... if i will go then she's coming with me~!
"who's coming with you!?!", another person who just came. Ratsami who come closer to them and he put away Chakrit's hand to his daughter, then push him away. Rita help Chakrit to stand up.
Ratsami: Rita~! stay away from that man...
Rita: No~! he didnt even do anything wrong~!
Ratsami: if he didnt do anything... he shouldn't talk down to your sister! now, you stay away from him~!
Rita: but he didnt do anything! it was Ploy's fault because she slapped him!
Pat: she wouldn't do that if you two were not doing any malicious thing~!
Ratsami: see! even your younger sister saw what you two were doing~! get away from that man~! (he pulled Rita to stay away from Chakrit.) you, young man~! i dont want you to see my daughter again! (but Rita put away her father's hand and face him.)
Rita: daughter??? you never even treat like one of your daughters.... you always forsaken me! you always hate me... you and mom always hate me! you never care for me... and i dont even have sisters to call on because they hate me! all of you hate me...
Ratsami: (he gave his daughter a hard slap.) because you never listen to us~! you always gave us a hard time to understand you and you never had manners, you didnt obey us... not like your sisters!
Rita: yes! because im different to them! because i have a different mother! im just an outsider here in this family!... (she pulled Chakrit's hand.) let's go, Krit...
Ratsami: if you're coming with him, i will cut-off your inheritance~!
Rita stopped for a moment, she looked at her father, then to her sisters for one last time. as she turn away, Anchali, her step-mom just came in. then Ann and Aum followed to see what's happening. Rita walked straight and never look at her step-mom... she left... holding Chakrit's hand.

Aff finally came to the place where Joy's hanging out. she send a message to Joy, telling her that she's already at the place where Joy told.
she was standing at the side walk, waiting for Joy. "Aff!", someone shouted her name behind her back, it was Joy. then she waved at her and was smiling. she didnt want her bestfriend to notice that she cried awhile ago.
Joy: did wait so long?
Aff: not really...
Joy: let's go...
Aff: where?
Joy: at the casino...
Aff: huh... but-
Joy: let's go now... (pulling her hand)
Aff: but-
Joy: (they stopped and she looked at her bestfriend.) if you want to forget your problem... you just gotta play with me tonight...
Aff: you mean gambling?
Joy: its not really gambling... you'll just have to be with me because you might be my luck charm...
Aff: what- (she didnt continue what she has to say anymore, because Joy already pulled her to run and went to the place where she gambles.)
as they got inside the place, she thought that she might be mistaking got inside the first class restaurant. but as Joy was holding her hand and was making their way near at the bathroom, there is a door. they stopped and there were two guards, Joy showed her VIP card to the guards and said "she's with me", she was referring to Aff. then the guards opened the door to let them in.
Aff: Joy, this is illegal right? why does a first class restaurant has this kind of secret place...
Joy: legal or illegal... this is the place where other hi-so people hangs around. you can have and do everything here...
Aff: everything???
Joy: yeah... (she wave at the other people who were looking at them, some of them were Joy's friends.)
the place is big, aside from having a public restaurant... the place has an underground floor. the underground floor is where her friend calls a private place, if you look at the whole interior... its just a simply resto-bar. it is well design for the hi-so people who comes and visit the place, the interior of the place is modern and only two colors were use... red and black. it was purposely design like this, to make it more dark; the room says it all. it was really a private place. not to mention, there's a small stage and there's a white grand piano at the small stage. people there were not only dining in, but also do some private negotiation. like what Joy said, you can do everything here in this place.
as Joy showing her way, she didnt expect that the place is more big when she saw lots of doors. "this must be the private rooms", she thought. then Joy open the other door, they both went inside the room. the room was filled with people who gamble. the place is much more bigger, than the restaurant and the private resto-bar. amusement came to her, she wasnt expecting that the place is bigger than she thought. maybe the owner who build the place is for people who wants freedom and luxury that they want.
Joy: this room is called "Haven"...
Aff: Haven?
Joy: as you can see, people here gambles alot. the other rooms has its own thing.
Aff: what do you mean?
Joy: simply... if you like something... the owner gives what you want.
Aff: but i dont want this.
Joy: i know... but too late already, we're already here and you are my lucky charm.
it was too late to understand what her friend says, she sat beside her and watch Joy as she gambles around. just looking at the people, you can see in their eyes the addiction. like what she sees in Joy's eyes.
staying there for 2 hours, Aff was already sleepy. she woke up when Joy got pissed off because she lose this time.
Aff: what happened?
Joy: i just lose 500, 000 baht... (she sigh.)
Aff: that much? Joy....
Joy: dont worry, i'll just borrow some money and this time I HAVE TO WIN... (she said while looking at the other gamblers, warning them for her return.)
Aff: you're going to play again???
Joy: last round...
Aff: but-
Joy: i need to get my money back...
Aff: where are you going to borrow?
Joy: mmmmm... dont worry, i know someone who could borrow us some money. he's my classmate in Japan when we were in college and just last night he contact me that he's been hanging around here. (she stand up and so Aff followed where her friend goes.)

at the private room, where two brother talk as man to man. Por has gone mad to his brother, he cant stand his brother's rebellion. Por felt like his brother is ruining their reputation as Wongrutiyan. last month, his brother just came back from Japan. he thought Ken Wongrutiyan, his older brother, has finally moved on and was trying to start all over again. but it just made it worst.
Por: why did you bought this place!?! this is not even worth to invest for~!
Ken: dont shout at me! i only bought 1/4 of the share here...
Por: but it's still not right! we already have the hotel and other businesses outside the country... why did you have to buy this place!?!
Ken: i have my own reason...
Por: you're always like that! you always say... you have you're reason... but you never tell me what it is!
Ken: someday you'll know...
Por: someday??? dont give that damn answer to me! im your-!
Ken: dont talk to me like that...
Por: you know what... i had enough... im going back to Paris and do what i really wanted to do!
Ken: you cant!-
Por: no! i had enough with you... in the first place... you're the one who has to do all the duties that i am doing for what... for 3 years already! i didnt even want to work in that hotel!
Ken: but it was dad's wish... (raising his voice already.)
Por: you're wrong... it was dad's wish for you! but what did you do... you chose that damn woman~!
Ken: i said stop it already! (he stood up into his chair and lift table to throw it... the food scatter on the floor.) dont ever mentioned about her! (he was shaking with madness... he doesnt want to be reminded of his past.)
Por cant even take his brother's behavior. they are always like this, they never understand each other... he doesnt understand why his brother has to keep secrets from him... about their family's secrets which he never knew. the only thing he knew is about his devastated love in the past. he doesnt want him to talk again... before he could get out of the room, he said "dont forget about what happened 3 years ago.... dad died because of you...", then he slammed the door as he got out of the room.

they keep walking and walking, Joy keeps finding the room where her friend stays. as they keep walking and walking, they suddenly bumped onto a man who was in a hurry... it was dark then... but the dim lights was enough to notice if who was the man bumped at them. Aff was surprise when it was Por.
Aff: Por!
Por: Aff... (they were both shock, surprisingly and accidentally meet in this kind of place.)
Joy: Por...
Aff: you know him?
Joy: of course... he's Ke-
Por: since you're already here... if you want to meet my brother, he's inside! (with the tone of his voice, she knew something came up.)
Joy: ok... (she smile, didnt care at all if what happened. Por left right away and didnt have time to explain to her.)
Aff: Por! wai-! (he didnt listen and he was already far...)
Joy opened the door, it's not new to her anymore... if she comes visit him, in his private room. the room was messy, just as she thought Ken and Por had a big fight again. the door was left opened and Joy called Aff to get inside the room.
the room was dark and only red light was guiding them to see the whole place. Aff cant seemly clearly Por's brother, just like what she always thought... Ken Wongrutiyan is very mysterious and the place where he hangs out... it just suits him.
Joy: hi~! Ken...
Aff: Ken Wongrutiyan... (she whispered, but he heard her calling his name. he was sitting in the executive chair, as he turn around to see if whom Joy was with.)
Ken: Joy... (he looked at his colleague... then his stared at the girl for a moment... "it must be Joy's friend... but why does he know my name?")
Joy: you know what im here for....
Ken: i know... (he was still staring at Joy's friend, his eyes widen when he realize who she was.)
Joy: (she notice that Ken was still staring at Aff) mmm.... she's my bestfriend, A-
Aff: no need to introduce me... (she said, changing her tone.) why are you so mysterious Ken Wongrutiyan?
Joy: ohh.... he's always like that.
Ken: (he just smile at her.) i have my reason... (he said enough. then he went back his attention to Joy) how much, Joy?
Joy: 1 million...
Aff: Joy... that's not-
Joy: its ok... i can take this back...
Ken: ok... here... (he gave her what she want... he wrote a one million in his check. then he gave it to Joy.)
Aff: that big!?! Joy....
Joy: its alright... ok... im gonna gave him back this money anyway... (she smile, as she want her bestfriend to cheer for her.)
Ken: you're the witness here... Ms. Aff Thabchumpon... i want you to sign it here...
Aff: what?
Joy: oh... its because i borrowed some money... that means you're one of my witness.
Ken: i want you to sign here... (showing the document...)
Aff: (she want to read it... but she cant read it clearly because its obviously dark.) can we turn on the lights? i have to read it first...
Joy: girl... you dont have to read it anymore... its just a proof that i borrowed some money...
she didnt read it anymore, she signed the document as what her friend says...
Joy: ok, we gotta go now Ken... this time i have to win...
Aff: Joy... i cant stand it anymore... i want to go home...
Joy: but i thought you're going to sleep at my pad...
Aff: yeah... i just need your keys...
Ken: you're going now Ms. Aff Thabchumpon?
Aff: i cant stand this kind of place that YOU ARE HIDING...
Ken: i thought you wanted to know why i am so mysterious...
Aff: if i wanted to know... i rather have to see you in my office and not in this place...
they already left... Ken just smiled as they leave, he didnt know that he has to start this early... he didnt expect to meet Aff Thabchumpon, one of the most precious daughters of Ratsami Thabchumpon. he wonder how he'll play his mysterious role over their family... he was wondering if he could meet the most important person soon... he was wondering if how was she... "thanks to Joy...", he said while smiling.
