I totally agree that she deserves an award. This may not be the best lakorn out there but Yaya's acting is really good in here especially in this last episode. She really delivered the emotions really well through her eyes. I could feel her pain and anger.

Can't believe KKSL has finally finished airing. I watched the last episode last night. Overall, I like watching Klin Kasalong from episode one to episode fifteen. Congratulations Yaya and James as well as to all the cast and crew with all of their hard work as well as portraying each different characters in different lifetimes and the different contributions to the lakorn. One of the characters that I was interested to watch as well as how the character will develop as the lakorn progresses; a part from Yaya's and James's characters was Buakieng, the little girl / grandma from the beginning. She's one of those characters that doesn't back down from anything as well as helping Mor Sup and Kasalong with their plans to communicate and try to be together. Buakieng was one of the characters that I was keen on watching in each episode. Additionally, I like both of the OST as mentioned before as well as the suspense the lakorns delivers, the visual and sound effects such as watching if Kasalong and Mor Sup will get caught as they try many different ways to be together. However, one of the scenes that I like in Klin Kasalong was in episode fifteen when Yaya as Pimmada and James as Prasawin meets each other and leaves the temple together that then transitions and shows Kasalong and Mor Sup leaving and walking outside the temple together as the OST plays in the background. Nevertheless, I understand that this lakorn may not be a lot of people's liking but likewise, I also believe that Yaya deserves an award for her roles in Klin Kasalong because in terms of portraying and delivering to the audience; I thought she did a great job with portraying all of her characters across the different lifetimes and she also did her best. I'm impressed on how Yaya changes from Kasalong, Songpeep, Primpy and Pimmada as well as Yaya's versatility in different scenes, different lifetimes and how she portrays her different characters. It's distinguishable and overall a great job from Yaya. I like Yaya and James as individuals and as a pair in a lakorn. I wish Yaya and James all the best with their careers and future lakorns. :):icon12:

Finally finished this! I thought it was pretty good. The story was well put. The only complaint I had was when they kept getting caught trying to escape.

Yaya's acting is saving grace of this lakorn, to think that she played multiple characters who speaks Northern dialect that she has to learn and speak flawlessly, this lakorn really challenged her emotionally, mentally and physically. She deserves a lot of awards and recognition for each role especially as Kasalong and Songpeep.
the performance of the supporting casts especially the mom Penpak (mother Thongbai) her scenes are really moving, I was also impressed by the performance of of the actors who played Emuey, Marnfah and Buakieng.
P'Pop(the guy who plays Marnfah) he's really good, he was able to deliver the same intensity as Yaya when they have a scene together, hope he gets to work with her again, maybe as the leading man next time? I think he acts better and more natural than the lead James.
James' acting needs a lil improvement, there were scenes where he had the chance to shine and show his skills especially in the last episode.... but it's lacking in my opinion, his eyes does not convey the same feelings as his lines. and the stupidity of his character, Ai Sup, does not help lol, his character is just so weak, there was never a moment where he was able to save Kasalong or do a heroic act, most of the time he's actually the reason why Kasalong gets hurt.

I'd like to thank James though for taking care of Yaya while filming this lakorn, maybe if it wasn't him who is close to her in real life, Yaya would not be as comfortable doing that lovescene.

I'm looking forward to see another evil role for Yaya, she's so good at being bad.

I really enjoy Pop. I find him very attractive and I hope to see him as a lead one day.
He actually has been given a couple of lead roles, just not with the a-list actress. But yes, he's definitely an amazing
actor and I do hope to see more projects from him where he's a p'ek with at least b-list actresses.
I don't know if you have watched Nee Ruk Nai Krong Fai with Alek and Patricia as leads. But Pop as second lead
is hilarious in there, if you haven't already go and watch it asap. :risas3:

I can only describe this lakorn as anxiety and stress on steroids. I don't mean that this lakorn is bad though, in fact it's quite the opposite; it's very well made. It's just depressing and you as the viewer can barely have a break because Kasalong can't catch a break. Every time she's happy I'm like "oh no what's gonna happen" because you know Songpeep and her daddy-o got plans 24/7.

This is Yaya's best acting to date. You can easily distinguish the characters and you as the viewer are very "in" with each character. I hate Songpeep with a passion, I pity and want to smack some fight into Kasalong, and annoyed with Pimpasa. Songpeep is beyond evil, whoever wrote this character really went to some dark place in order to bring this character to paper. I'm sure she's on the top 10 list of batshit crazy villains from a Thai lakorn. She's pretty much the embodiment of the word evil, there is nothing to redeem about her. She has no reason, she's prone to blaming everyone but herself and she's just on an entirely different planet.

Kasalong I wanted to smack sometimes. Especially at the part on the train where she ruined everything by yelling out for her dad. Like girl, you couldn't just shut up and it's not like your dad is a nice person to you either. This lakorn was very different due to the fact that the nice girl becomes the vengeful ghost. She's totally entitled to be angry and vengeful though, I mean if I had a sister and she beat the crap out of me everyday, tried to strip me naked in front of the workers, accused me of murder, tried to steal my husband and be the reason why I died next to a corpse who tried to rape me, and then myself finally succumbing to eating raw mice... I would be pissed too. That being said, Songpeep had to too easy for her. I mean dying in a fire is not fun but it's also not the same as dying slowly in the most horrifying environment. Plus, her karma in the next life is just her being stick in a car for a couple of days and not having the man she loves love her, that's not enough.

The dad. OMG He's horrifying. I'm sure there are parents out there like him in the world that abuse one child and spoil another for no apparent reason. He and Songpeep are scum of the earth. Who in their right minds treat their family members like that? There is just something psychologically wrong with him for him to torture and abuse Kasalong so much. I feel so bad for mothers who are stuck in situations like this.

I thinking working with a new director is good for Yaya, he definitely pushed her out of her comfort zone and it really shows in how much massive improvement there is in her acting. Working with Num Krit and Aew Ampaiporn back and forth stunted her acting growth. I like this director, he doesn't play it safe like Num Krit and Aew Ampaiporn, who are directors that I tend to like. I like how he directed the love scene, it was explicit but at the same time was tasteful. Love scenes in lakorns should definitely aim to be at this level. The scene where Kasalong is stuck in the grain storage was excellently filmed. Now I thought Worada from Duay Rang Atitharn and Plubpleung from Dome Thong died depressing deaths, but Kasalong's death is pretty much the most horrifying death I have ever witnessed from a lakorn. Yet again, I question what dark place the writer of this story went to to come up with such horror.

James I don't have much to say about. His acting has always been good but he doesn't have much use here other than to be the object of the women's affection. I felt bad for his character though when he blamed himself for everything happening. No sweetie, that psycho and her father are the only people to blame. Poor guy's problem was the mere fact that he existed and caught the attention of a crazy woman. James was great, his character is such a sweetie pie. He and Yaya have decent chemistry, it wasn't super strong but there was enough there to feel "in" with the lakorn.

I also really liked Marnfah. Poor guy as well. Basically everyone in this lakorn that was good was put through the wringer.

This lakorn was really good, though it made me super depressed and anxious as I was watching. The episodes where they were trying to run away and encounter all these obstacles subsequently one after another was panic inducing. This is a lakorn where you as the viewer are not going to catch a break, you will encounter hardship after hardship to the point of bleakness. That being said, it was really, really well done. This lakorn is a masterpiece and I can tell it was incredibly difficult to make. All the extra takes alone because of the twin scenes must have driven people crazy to make. This is definitely going to sweep all the awards. Tai Penpak and Pu Montri in particular deserve so much recognition for this.

Well said. This was yaya's best performance to date. I was really impressed by her acting and happy it was well received by the Thais. She deserves an acting award for this !

I finally watched this. Yaya was great being the rai sister. I hated her so much and the dad. Her acting as Kasalong was so good too, I almost cried with her during her sad scenes. This is probably the first lakorn I watched until the end of hers since the one with Rome. Sorry i am in minority as I am not a NY fans. Call me weird, I’m not interested in seeing real life couples act lol. (Don’t yell at me) Its good to see her taking challenging roles. I also really like the the song too.

I am not a NY fan either, but I think that Yaya is one of the most hardworking and most beautiful actresses in Thai entertainment. She deserves every award and opportunity she gets. I hope she comes to America and acts
