tomorrow, they will launch Erik Santos' old song "Pagbigyan Muli" (Another Chance). for Maria-Luis theme song. this is the 3rd time that Erik Santos' song will be use in EnRich dramas...

OMG Nikki...OMG...

ppl dont know this but I grew up watching mexican soap operas w/ my mom LOL...and one of my all time fave actress was Thalia and I clearly remember watching the mexican version of MDLB hahahahahaha....omg...so funny...but I dont remember teh details..all I remember was the song credits hahaahah

Thalia's famous in the Philippines, she recorded a few filipino songs just for the Filipino fans... way back in early 90's. her dramas such as the Maria triology(Marimar, Maria La Del Barrio, Maria Mercedes) aired here in the philippines. the last dramas that was aired here was Rosalinda which was aired in 1998.

Thalia also had concert for 2 times here in the philippines.

since remakes are kinda trend nowadays, Philippines did a couple of remakes by buying the copyright of the dramas from S. Korea, Mexico and other countries... also some filipino movies that were also get into remake.

if i am not mistaken, GMA7 is more favored by with eurasian actors and actresses. while ABS-CBN has more set of actors and actresses in filipino looks. ABS-CBN ch2 is still undecided if who will be the n'ek for Maria Mercedes drama. the last survey, people's choice was either Angel Locsin or Andi Eigenmann.

in Maria La Del Barrio, Erich was the first choice eversince this drama was assigned to director Rory. she personally picked Erich for this drama.

Erich Gonzales had a seizure on the set of Maria La Del Barrio due to a sudden drop of her sugar level. But during the recent thanksgiving press con of her soap, the young actress assured the local press that she has fully recovered from her illness. “During taping bumaba yung sugar level ko tapos may halong overfatigue na rin, pagod at puyat dahil galing akong Bangkok para sa trabaho din. But I’m okay now.”

Asked how she feels about previous reports saying that she got possessed by bad spirits, Erich merely laughed at such an outrageous idea. “Dun na lang po tayo sa diagnosis ng doctor which is hypoglycemia or pagbaba ng sugar level. Kasi normally 90 or 100 dapat, pero sa akin it dropped to 40. So I think it’s normal na nangyari sa akin yung symptoms na pagkahilo at panginginig. Pero kung ano man gustong isipin ng iba, sila po ang bahala,” said Erich who obviously lost a few pounds due to her illness.

More than anything else, Erich shared that she learned the importance of maintaining good health. “I eat a lot of healthy food naman pero hindi on time. So siguro ngayon kailangan maging conscious sa oras ng pagkain. Hindi pwede na kung kailan ka lang gutom saka ka lang kakain. I also take vitamins. Kailangan palakasin ang immune system tsaka resistensya mo kasi sa panahon ngayon iba-ibang klaseng sakit ang pwedeng dumapo sayo.

Erich also thanked her leading man Enchong Dee for his concern when she got rushed to the hospital. Apparently, the young actor went out of his way just to make sure she was okay that day. “I am very thankful kasi yung Maria La Del Barrio family ko hindi ako iniwanan, sinamahan nila ako sa hospital. Masaya dahil talagang pamilya ang turingan namin.”

But she couldn’t help but add that Enchong asked her to be his date at the Star Magic ball while she was still in the hospital. “Pagkagising ko tumawag siya. Sabi niya, ‘O since gising ka na, ito na yung perfect time para tanungin kita. Will you be my date tomorrow?’ Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Wow ha! Ang sweet mo. Hindi mo man lang ako kinumusta?’ Pero ayun, ganon lang talaga kami ka-close. Wala ng pakiyeme-kiyeme. Sobrang nakakatuwa.”

OMG...how sweeeeet!!!! OMG! Enchong is funny but yet sweet...lols he asked to be his date while in the hospital..that's like a scene frm a lakorn or something...love how he's so caring.....which brings me back to Salan hahah...

Sal fainted during their opening ceremony since it was pretty hot..Porshe caught her right when she lost balanced and walked her to her daddy[ before she completely lost balance, he noticed she wasnt looking too good and he kept asking are u alright]...and also at the closing party, her dad got in a minor car accident [raining that night] Sal left the party early..Mr. Porshe decides to go w/ her...he could have stayed and entertain the guests but nope he decided to go w/ her...then later on they came back and Porshe hugged her [well he asked for a hug]

man today must be a good day or something...I've been on cloud nine since morning, smiling frm ear to ear and now I read something sweet on EnRich...ahhh!

LOL i kept rereading Erich's interview... LOL it's funny that in CHERIE fanclub all of us were like... OMG these two never failed us to expect something far from what we are not expecting after all. XD

Enchong was like "since you're already awake, this is the perfect timing to ask you if "WILL YOU BE MY DATE TOMORROW?"

and Erich was surprised and said to him "Wow! you're so sweet... you didn't even bother to ask if how am I right now!" she explained further during her interview that "that's how close we are. we don't want to complicate things and we are really happy"

i can definitely imagine the situation was like Erich is still laying on the patient's bed with her dextrose on her, then Enchong called to ask her for a date... LOL COMEDY-LAKORN... lol because Erich sounded sarcastically joking "wow! you're so sweet" then the next lines were he didn't bother to ask if how she was, he asked her right away to be his date. LOL

it also came from Enchong that he ates Erich's food a lot. he keeps eating without thinking to left something for Erich. the CHERIE fanclub scolded him in a joke way "Enchong you do not eat Erich's food from now on. You go grab something for yourself or better if you bring something for Erich because she always brings food to you. now it's your turn!" LOL but they're scolding him in a joke way...

telling Enchong to take care of Erich.

he's maybe worried because the date he's going to ask is in the hospital and maybe he asked the hospital if when will they release Erich XD
