lmao... *sigh* President Ms. Charo [president of ABS-CBN channel 2 network] is working out for future collaboration dramas, after they did a collaboration with Malaysia. they're planning to do a next one, i only heard a rumor about their next stop is Korea. actually, it depends of the fan-based... so a lot of fans requesting for another collaboration with other Asian countries. I, myself want to see a fil-thai collaboration as well...
about the rumor that abs-cbn will be doing a collaboration with Korea, the network's selection among the korean actresses is Eugene Kim... while, the selection of actors in PH is either JLC or PJ... since they're known for their craft already and won many awards. though one of the actors that has been mentioned aside from JLC and PJ, were Sid Lucero, Jake Cuenca and Diether Ocampo... still the ABS-CBN network hasn't confirmed yet about the collaboration drama.
this issue might come out next year, because as for now... ch2 and ch7 are rival networks here and been competing since then. the fans here are mainly bashing with network bash and not a celebrity bash. because if they say that this celeb works and been working in this network for years... and that network produces good dramas and movies, then the fan would be stay loyal in that network and only watches that network.
apparently, with these two rival networks... been competing for remakes, either filipino version remake or movie remake into drama series. i am a ch2 viewer since i was little and though i can switch channels at the same time... i guess i can differentiate their weaknesses when it comes series. like ch2, they're more good in making drama series... and if they do action series once in awhile... and they're well-prepared with the cast. but their weakness is making fantasy series and only one fantasy series they did best... it was a one shot drama of a merman played by PJ and a series of a mermaid. meanwhile, in ch7... they're good in both action and fantasy series, they're weakness is drama series.
other issues, were people bashing around if how many years did the networks run long. like abs-cbn ch2 has been running for 55 years, while GMA ch7 has been running for 60 years they say. but that issue doesnt matter anymore because as long you have well-trained actors and actresses or singers and dancer, even hosts... and the viewers were entertained by these celebs... of course they will stick to that channel as a loyal viewer.

ABS-CBN ch2 has been doing good recently by showcasing their dramas eversince Ms. Charo Santos became the president of the network. not to mention, that other actors and actresses from the rival network wanted to transfer in ABS-CBN... because ch2 itself presents their celebs in TFC channel (a channel that airs to other countries and owns by abs-cbn, in US and Europe). also abs-cbn is the only network that has the guts to go for media-partnership with other networks in other countries, they also let the celebs assigned for US tour and world tour.
if the whole nationwide basis only here in PH, abs-cbn has more lot of viewers than gma. i also think that GMA was threaten by abs-cbn's dramas and movie project this year. because last year, abs-cbn won the channel of year last January in star awards here in PH. also most of the actors and actresses who won were from abs-cbn. so this year, ch7's threatened again because abs-cbn has been receiving high ratings from morning til night because of the shows. not to mention that abs-cbn's planning to put up more good dramas in the afternoon, because two-three years ago... abs-cbn has the lowest ratings in afternoon dramas. so now, abs-cbn pulled it off because their ratings in the afternoon are running smoothly and even extend the dramas because of the fan-based who requested for it.
i guess, im a loyal ch2 viewer... because i know how their shows run. XD though i am only watching 2 dramas in abs-cbn because i was into Jake recently. -_-" the Bud Brothers and Tayong Dalawa. and other upcoming dramas, i'll be waiting... and the cast of these upcoming dramas will promote their shows this Sunday in ASAP show (variety show, that all the entertainers were actors and actresses from dramas.)
