i thought about it and my initial theory was that she is using ter to revive her image. the funny thing is that no one seems to care. ter seems like a nice guy but he lacks the sex appeal to match mai if they are going the koojin route.

Ter is like that average guy pinning for the popular girl, while the girl is just flipping her hair feeling so-so. He is a sweet guy and to me is handsome in his own right and Mai should give him a chance to see where things are going. But it is the heart we are talking about. If all she feels and able to offer is friendzone then there's nothing much he can or able to do to make her like him more than that. If she drags him along because she feels sorry for him that's no relationship either. If she let him know it is just friends at the moment and he's willing to stick around then that's ultimately up to him. But watching their previous lakorn they actually look good together.
