  • Why is it that sometimes people think if another person is kind, there is some sort of ulterior motive involved? Like, “She wants something” “Oh, she’s trying to win and steal my partner” or “What is she up to?” It’s sad we’re so guarded and lack trust. At times, you don’t even want to be kind anymore because people will misinterpret and misjudge.

There are people out there who are over cautious. They don't want to be fooled and want to be vigilant at all times. Such people don't trust people easily and they will take time to trust anyone.

The sad part of this approach is,they will most likely lose potential friends. In most cases, distrust will never convert into trust for these people as no one wants to be tested for their trustworthiness.

    There are many factors:
    - Past experience with people like this
    - Sense of inferiority complex and insecurity
    - Defense mechanism
    - many ppl hang with the wrong crowd & so they don't have much experience with ppl of diff personality. Need to expand their circle.

All in all, I still don't think that it gives anyone the right to automatically assume that someone is up to no good just bc they're nice. There are ppl that are just naturally nice.
Those who can’t support, take care of their own kids and expect others to.… please don’t have kids. No, it’s not another person’s responsibility to take care of them for you. Not aunts, your parents, in laws. :fighting3: #uconfused

yeah it’s so wrong and selfish @Koy123 :(
I’m just curious, @SuzieJ, do you know why the President left the country? I’m sure death was a reason to not stay, but why when the people need him. I don’t know much abt him, but do many Afghans view him a traitor now? Was he a good President?

@maimyang He left cause he’s a corrupt and disgusting traitor. He abandoned the afghan army and fled the country when they needed him the most. He was never a good president. Afghanistan hasn’t had a good president in 20+ years unfortunately. Everyone in the government was greedy and money hungry, hence him abandoning his country with a chopper full of almost 200 million dollars.

Most afghans view him as the person who sold his country to the Taliban and Pakistan. It’s sad because outsiders view the afghan army as cowards for not fighting against the Taliban but what else were they supposed to do when their own president abandoned them with no orders while stealing all of their money. Plus most soldiers haven’t been monetarily compensated in months.

I rewatched this during the beginning of the pandemic. The part where the p'ek starts to strangle his best friend when he was jealous will forever be my favourite moment haha.
Damn, 22 and 1/2 years in prison. If it’s anything like in the movies, I’m betting Chauvin will be hated on in there. But my bf says ex cops are kept isolated from other inmates .
