Are you talking about the song that James sing or the other one? I was able to Download the first one on YT.
The storyline seems interesting. Is James suppose to play a eunuch of some sort who's actually a warrior of some sort??
Something a long those lines. Basically the enemies kill his father so he sneaks into the enemy palce by pretending to be a eunuch so he can spy on them.

Ok I'm a bit confused with the era. Sorry if this is a repeated questions and was answered already but is this story during the fall of Ayuttaya or after?
I am guessing it's after, because the gist of the story is how King Taksin liberates Siam from the Burmese invaders and reunites it. King Taksin's reign is after King Ekkathat (Last King of Ayutthaya). King Taksin is the King of Thonburi (he transferred the capital to Thonburi as Ayutthaya was destroyed by the invaders)

So it's many decades after the timeline of Bhuppae Sanniwas/BPS (King Narai, King of Ayutthaya). ;) and while we're at it, it's several decades before the timeline of Ka Badin (reign of King Rama III). So Nueng Dao Fah Diew is right in between.

I can’t wait to see this scene  Khan Thong who is supposedly a eunuch is busy flirting with Mang Mao

I'm on a roll with trivias here hahahaha. The author of the screenplay, I was told by my Thai friends (from the JJ Fanclub hahaha), is the same person who wrote the screenplay for Padiwarada. In Padiwarada, the flower motif is a Sunflower. So I am guessing the screenplay writer would also be into flower motifs (I don't know if it's in the novel as well) - but here, the flower is a Magnolia Champaca, which is usually included in jasmine flower garlands are known for their distinct and fragrant scent.

As for the scene in the trailer where Khanthin places the flower in Mangmao's hair, Wikipedia has this to say: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnolia_champaca
"The flowers are used in Southeast Asia for several purposes. Especially in India, they are primarily used for worship at temples whether at home or out, and more generally worn in hair by girls and women as a means of beauty ornament as well as a natural perfume. Flowers are used to be floated in bowls of water to scent the room, as a fragrant decoration for bridal beds, and for garlands."

So yep. He was busy flirting all right. :risas3:

Ok so it should be right before the Rattanakosin dynasty if PraJaoTak was still liberating Siam from the Burmese. I was getting so confused because i had originally thought the praek was a spy for the Burmese. Also Taew said it was 70 years after BPS meaning it would be during PraJaoEkkathat unless she meant 70 years after the finale of BPS then it would be Rattanakosin.

Thanks you for the clarification.

@KitKat516 I think it is right after/towards the end of King Ekkathat's reign as you (and Taew) mentioned. There's a lot of bloodshed involved and it around that time when King Taksin is just about to be king and about to unite Siam. If you notice, Khanthong's line in the teaser was something along the lines of "when will someone come forth and unite our people once again" - so that "someone" is King Taksin (Aum's character).

I think NDFD is being made also in celebration of the 250th year anniversary of the victory of King Taksin versus the invaders. They had a blessing ceremony at King Taksin's memorial at some point, last year. All these Thai lakorns made me curious about their history. I'm itching to buy a book! Can't depend on Wikipedia all the time :p

@040156 & @KitKat516 Thanks for all the historical facts/explanations. I’m all in for learning the history. It’s so amazing. I find it so cool that this is in between BPS & Ka Badin

@Kay123 Me too! I find it funny bc afterwards she’s like I hope you’re not so we can still be good friends & he looks all disappointed. He acts like he’s in the friendzone but in reality she just doesn’t know yet. Lol
