Today’s episode was AMAZING!! I absolutely agree with @KitKat516 regarding Europeans trying to colonize and spread their religion can be seen as a threat to the kingdom. It’s wonderful how they presented this history to fans, the politics of that time is so fascinating. In the end, Buddhism plays the major role not only in politics but in the storyline of the leads too. Love it!
Also, I felt so sad for the real Karakade today. She did the best thing she could for herself and that was to let go.

I love what the king said though. It showed that he had great diplomatic skills. He said as a king responsible for a kingdom it is hard to change what had been practice for over 2000 years. It is difficult but not impossible. He said other stuff too but I don't remember.

I love all the actors playing the politics stuff. They're all great and the dynamic between the king and Petchracha is so good. I think I can watch them all day. But I feel like the lakorn makes it seem like no one is on the king's side? Cause the main actors are all on Petchracha's side to me. Also love how they told the story through the family gathering with Kade and Jampa.
Oh yeah I had no idea Khun Lek was Kangsom's dad. He's pretty stylish in real life for an old guy lol.
I don't mind E-Prik's nagging either. It doesn't come off mean-spirited and hate fueled like in the beginning. She's like a sulky child, trying to keep up a front like Date was before he got around to sniffing Kade's hair.
