the video is cute. she's the second person i know that use soy sauce for their jeow hehe.

It reminds my old good time when making jeaw to eat with young & green apple/mango & other fruits LOL... BUT,,, never saw someone make jeaw with soy like that video, LOL.... cute though lol...

The "normal" and not lazy way should be:

- khao khua (burnt rice)
- sugar
- fish sauce & a little bit of padek
- shallots finely chopped
- chili.

here's a pic of a papaya salad that i made. it's the laotian style with a hint of thai in it since i'm half-thai.

There are peanuts and thai eggplant in it too.

This is one of my favortie food.
