I don't see any big issue with them denying that they are dating, a lot of celeb couples do this to protect their privacy plus admitting that they are a couple while they aren't ready to get married could cause fans who aren't fans of one of them to dislike them both, you know how crazy some fans can be.

I rather have a celeb couple denying that they are dating than a celeb giving false hints that he/she is dating someone that he/she was or is paired with. I would give my opinion for any celeb couple in the Songs' situation but since I have been rooting for them even before DotS premiered I need to give my opinions .

I read that because MBC channel they leaked out news &/ photos of their visit in Bali so I think they decided to announce that they are getting married. It is a big move bc SJK he will have a movie coming out this month, it is his first movie after serving the army. I read that he even discussed about his wedding announcement with an important person connected with the movie...

Continued...bc he concerned his wedding announcement could affect the movie. When he was at an event to promote the movie, he didn't take advantage to talk about his wedding announcement, he was mindful about the movie, the cast, the crew & etc. Both of them are really low key when it comes to their personal life.

Sorry, I posted too much, my last post . I know that they did talked well about one another, referred each other as older sis & younger bro (something like this). I don't think they flat out denying that they are dating, as their fan I just gathered & analyzed what news/talks are out there about them. I guess people who aren't their fans or a fan of one them may have issue with them denying that they are dating .

I'll take the wedding announcement over dating confirmation in any given day.

well i think in the first place they should have admitted it if they have plans of getting married.i don't think it would affect him in some way knowing that they have a large fanbase worldwide.but PR works differently.

Well i don't think they need to deny that they are dating because fans are actually smart enough.i'm actually a fan and for the record its been 5 years and counting.

I had feelings that they are more than just colleagues, sister & brother kind of relationship bc of how they answered interview questions & how they interacted around each other but there was also a reminder to not overthink it. So I didn't care if they were really dating & not admitting to the public, their fans; they will make the choice to reveal their relationship when they are ready.

From what I know, last year in January in Japan, he proposed to her. They announced that they will get married in October this year early this month. It is shocking news to be honest, no news of them dating then boom their marriage announcement. They are two famous individuals, I don't think they want to gain more popularity through their shocking wedding announcement, it could backfire (which I hope not).

They are very family oriented individuals, I read from their letters to their fans concerning about their wedding announcement that they thought very carefully about it since it isn't about just one of them but two of them & his and her families respectively.

I respect how private they are, the fact that they wanted to be private and are. Not like couples that talk about being private but is so open, doesn't make sense. I love the letters they wrote, i felt like it was so sweet and personal.

They're not the only ones who denies any romantic relationships with another artist especially in SoKor. Korean fans are more possessive than any other fans in the world that's why artist agencies are very careful when handling dating rumors. They won't confirm unless there are solid evidences from leak photos or paparazzi pics.
