I liked the scene where the phone was ringing, it was the song but it wasn't Kaew's phone, haha. Too bad that he didn't keep that ringtone for the rest of the show though. Speaking of ringtone..Kaew never changed hers from their song, you'd think Por would've taken that as a hint =].

I'm shocked as well, but not because our dear Bor is on the list but because he is BEFORE Nuthi!!!! LOL. Nuthi is pure annoyance.

Oh~ do i just love this irony? :p

I can understand why one would put our dearest Bor on that list, but like many of us, we've accepted the r-scene as a lakorn thing. It's frustrating to try to understand, but i guess you have to accept it if you want to enjoy a lakorn. I mean, like i said before, i literally forgot that there was an r scene with Bor and Kaew. o_O

@ Loosy and Songie : like I said, I'm not good at expressing my thoughts, but since you guys said so I'll try my best to explain. Please bare with me and pardon my confusing post :)

I know this is a lakorn, and raping b/t the lead male and the lead female is considered as love . But I'm talking about Por as if he's a real man in reality . We know how much and how deep his love to Keaw. But there's no way I'll let my boyfriend (my lover, whatever you call the man you love ) rape me as if nothing happened. I either kill him or call the cops on him, hey scratch that, I'll kill him then tell the cops it was self-defense. Again, I know in Thai lakorn, it happens like it's normal. Even multiple rapes, heck, such as the new lakorn that has Mart and Susie (I stopped watching it after the that :) ) . I understand, it's different b/t lakorn and real life.

But this is personal preference :) as I was thinking what if they're real life people, not from a lakorn. How would I feel about them, as a human being .

I have to say I have a love/hate relationship with Por
.

I love his love for Keaw. His love for Keaw was the love the any woman could possible dream for . No woman can replace Keaw in his heart. Keaw is his life. I even love the way how he treat his niece, his siter, Keaw's family . Look how he playing around with Nunim, you can see a loving dad right there. Look how happy he is when the lawyer say his sister gonna be released soon. Look how he begged Keaw's mom about her health, for her forgiveness and always addressed her as "mother" . He's a family man. What's more, he's a man in charge, with confident, with passion. A man any woman could wish for .

BUT , I also don't like him (hate is a really strong word) because, firstly, the raping. Secondly, the overboard jealousy which lead him to the third one, he has trusting issue when it comes to Keaw and men around her. He doesn't have the trusting issue when it comes to NuNim death. He trusted Keaw when she said she didn't kill NuNim . But have he ever trusted her when she said there is nothing going on b/t her and Pipatt/Nuthi ? oh, no, he didn't even give her the chance to say anything (example: the incident where Keaw have to act as Nuthi's girlfriend so Awn won't harass her, she wanted to explain, he refused to listen . And the one when Pipatt used Nunim to call Keaw out, he didn't let her explain , until he saw Nunim runs out from the store) . Even when Awn told him PiPatt and Keaw meet @ the hotel. He believed her. Come on, out of everybody, he believed the woman who ganged up the PiPatt to rape Keaw ? He seriously have trusting problem with Keaw when it comes to men because he was blinded by his overboard jealousy .

As for Nuthi , he's just annoying , stupid, nosy ... . He has no intention to harm anybody . It's his stupidity lead him to his mistakes.

Out of all the men in PNGRT, I love Thanwa the most. He loves Peung and doesn't care about her past, whom she get close to. He patiently wait for her to forget about Nuthi . It's just his look make his personality be overlooked :)

phew, I didn't read back what I just wrote, so just pardon me if my last post is confusing. I just want to say , I love Por and Keaw for their beautiful love. But I can't say the same when it come to loving Por (himself) as the best man .

For me, looksy puts it best that Bor's biggest flaw is that he's a pra`ek. I honestly don't think Bor would really r the woman of his life. But again, that's obviously arguable because Bor is a fictional character from a lakorn and the lakorn makes Bor who he is. But even with that, i still won't accept it that the r he committed is a part of who he is. If you notice, giakem, from what you've listed as Bor's trust issues, it only applies to situations involving "other men" in Kaew's life. When it comes to anything family, whether it'd be Nunim or Fongjan, he trusts Kaew. When it involves Pipat or Nuthi ("other men" in Kaew's life), his insecurity of the chances of him and Kaew being together leads him to distrust her. That's just my interpretation and i can say the same for Putt and Awn. It's the other people in your boyfriend/girlfriend/lover's life that harms your chances of being with that person. There is where all the trust issues are developed. Again, i don't think Bor is that jealous of a man compared to other pra`eks. He's a very strong pra`ek who's dealt a lot with concealing his true emotions.

But one point is widely understood; i'm sure r is not a personal preference with any of us as well.

I really like the ridiculous scenes of Pong Bor shirtless. And the subtle inserts of humor [and *blush*] as with the ringtone scene that Kudaranai mentioned. HAHA. Also, the post-bathtub scene where Bor drops Kaew off and by his words, she's so eager to get out and forgets to unbuckle her seat belt.* * Then he laughs at her and helps her.* * He knew what she was feeling..xD

I'm beginning to confirm myself as Bor biased. *ahem* A lot of my favorite memorable scenes are of Bor's facial expressions and reactions. One of my most favorite scenes is in ep6 ep5 (thanks Ariya) i believe. When Bor and Kaew first meet each other after 6 years and they're in his office, he verbally afflicts her to the point where she voluntarily quits. The look on his face was like "What? NOOO!!!...... Darn it."

What is this giakiem about you saying that you are not good with expressing yourself? You did that perfectly and I totally get where you are coming from. :) You have every right to put Bor on your list of characters you dislike because of what he did to Kaew.

As much as I love Bor and how he “wow’s “ me with his determination and undying love for our Kaew, I hated what he did to her with the R thing. It's totally unexceptable, but I agree with songie that that side of him is not who he really is. I really do think that if the scriptwriter had stayed true to his character that there would be no R scene. I mean, when you really think about it, it’s like his personality and what he did are the exact opposite. On one end you have this loving man who is so emotional and gentle to the touch when it comes to the woman he loves, who holds on to every memory of her and their shared past together. I mean how many men would save an old gf’s cell number for 6 years, that’s a very sentimental man. Then on the other end is this man who is so hurtful that he could take out his insecurities on her to the point of raping her. Yes, definitely out of character.

I think the Bor before the breakup was as perfect as a man can get. He was trusting, loving, attentive, romantic, and loyal. The breakup really messed him up as far as issues with trust. The Bor before the breakup trusted his instincts on love and of Kaew. After the breakup he then became a man that second guesses his instincts and could not trust his own feelings b/c it failed him in the past and that is where we have the insecure and jealous Bor, second guessing his instincts and trust for Kaew.

Even with his insecurities and jealousy, I still don't believe that the R thing is a part of who he is. Bor with all the good qualities that you[Giakiem]described that made you and all of us love that part of him is just not that kind of man. It’s totally out of character and I blame that on the scriptwriter for inserting the R thing in there b/c of rating purposes.

Songie, that’s ok, I’m thinking about all of my memorable scenes and a lot of them are b/c of Bor, too. BTW, that was ep 5 when she voluntary quits.

Giakiem, C123, where are your memorable scenes?
Post More, Post More! :D

Edit////
Kudaranai, that’s a good question about Kaew keeping her ringtone. It was definitely Kaew’s way of indirectly showing him that she still loves him, too. Bor probably did take it as a hint but I’m sure he second guessed his instincts.

More memorable scenes,

You guys know how I love ep 29’s continuation love scene. It was like one minute of Bor and Kaew heaven. How the early morning light was glowing on their skin, how every movement was done in slow motion, the way he looked at her and she at him and all of those gentle kisses he gave her ---Sighs--- that kiss on her shoulder……goosebumps

Of course, I had to bring back these caps that songielove was so kind to post for us back then in anticipation for this episode.

my memorable scenes are those from when they were on the island. in general, i like all scenes with Bor+Kaew.

Giakiem i know what u mean! if its about the R scene, yeah that's a bit too much for me...when i first watched thai lakorns with the R-scenes..i was surprised that it's ok to have those scenes in lakorns...thanks to the explanations from fellow PNGRTers. bottomline is, i also don't like the fact that he raped her. but oh well...i still love Bor+Kaew..hehe ^_^

while reading all ur comments on memorable scenes....i'm like 'yes! me too! i agree!' the way u all describe it .. wow.. lol...
how do i put it? i just like the whole whole whole lakorn ... any scene with Bor+kaew...they're all memorable. it's like memories of their love..the hard times, those loving, tender moments...sad times...everything. :)

Looksy and songie: ooh, nice caps! :)

OMG, would you look at those caps again?? I swear, this scene is oh~so~romantic. The bare, but protective, body of Bor hovering over Kaew as she devours his touch. The reflection of the creamy sunlight coming in to gently rest on their bodies make this whole scene look yummy altogether. It has a really sophisticated kind of sexy and romantic look to it. Perfect scene, and again, with no words spoken. *goes to Borkaew heaven*

I loved those island scenes, especially THE *epic* scene ( i swear, i fall back everytime i watch it. It never fails to make me laugh). The island scenes get my heart beating fast because it really is Bor and Kaew's first willing hug after their years of separation. *spazzz* The tent scenes are amongst the most romantic Bor+Kaew scenes, along with the bathtub and continuation scenes (goodness, i loved our dubbed names for these scenes!! *brilliant!*).

Looksy, i really like your explanation of the before Bor and after Bor. <3 His change is just another proof at how much Bor loved Kaew; he was able to change so much, yet so little. Their break-up changed his way of thinking and not only made him a stronger man, but probably also made him a stronger businessman (with decision-making and monitoring his trust in his employees/colleagues/business partners/etc.). I guess that might be irrelevant, but i do believe that Bor wouldn't be as strong as he is now without the break-up and 6-year separation.

These are actually memorable moments that I will always cherish :)

Ep 8 when Bor took Kaew shopping, when he was tying the scarf around her neck and how he paused to stare at her, it was the first time he looked into her eyes and she at his in 6 years

Ep 9 when Bor was watching Kaew from his balcony as she entered his house, it was as if he was thinking to himself, “here she is, the woman that I love, the woman that I was supposed to share this house with, this dream with”

Ep 9 the classic she trips and he catches her, it was the first time he held her in his arms in six years, he hid his emotions but I could feel his heart beat fast by the way he was looking at her, then when she leaves he smiles to himself b/c he got a chance to hold her again

Ep 9 the faucet incident, how wet and close they were and for once they were able to let go of their anger and allow themselves smile and laugh at each other

Ep 9 I loved how he was standing at the doorway smiling to himself as he was watching her dry her hair as if to say, “look how beautiful she is after all these years, she is as beautiful as the first day we met”

OMGosh songie, most of the things I remember from this lakorn are b/c of Bor, yikes, you’re not the only one who is Bor-biased

Songie, I totally agree with you, the breakup made Bor an even stronger person. As painful as it was, I think that you mentioned it in the chat group, that he pretty much grew up and became a man in those 6 years that they were apart. He is able to view life in a more realistic way in that to expect and accept the good and the bad in life.

Dear looksy:
I love BOR and Kaew, but I do not really appreciate some personality of BOR. As a man, he was too jealousy and sometimes seems stupid, even though he loved Kaew, but the behavior was always in self-torture and entanglement.

Sometimes I thought of that it's lucky for him not make Awn pregnant (they slept together before) otherwise, what would be the ending for Bor & Kaew.

But no matter how I think, I love this lakorn, love BOR and Kaew, and love the co-operation of AOM and PONG, I hope they'll have a chance to pair up again.

Ep. 5: Who can forget Bor and Kaew's first face-to-face encounter after the 6 years?? O____O *dun dun dun* Again, Bor's eyes tell no lie as they start to get teary with shock. As you watch both of their reactions, you can just mentally picture the flashbacks playing in their minds as they finally stand before each other. This time, not at the same level as the other. There's pain, surprise, fear, guilt, and anger that is shown in this one scene and it is made possible this powerful because of Pong and Aom's amazing performances. If one were to have skipped episodes 1-4 (not that anyone would in their right mind), i believe that this scene is enough to let one know which character is which and where each of them stand in talks of feelings and intentions, etc. I love how it seemed like time slowed down for Bor and Kaew during this scene, yet it all seemed so natural as well.

I need a dose of PNGRT everyday and i thought about doing a marathon #2, but my courses' workload is too heavy. Therefore, i'm continuing watching random, blush-worthy / breathtaking / heart-tugging Bor+Kaew scenes to satisfy my needs instead.*

back to the topic , well, this picture says it all when it come to my fav. scene. :) Por can be really sweet and romantic. It's his birthday, and he treats Keaw like a queen. I'm a sucker for romantic. I love how they described how it should be if they'd got married 6 years ago. That's like they showing us a sequel after their wedding ..hehhehe... I love how their clothes' color match too. I love how they walking bare feet, listening to their song. On the helicopter, I really love the way Aom cry (sorry, I'm her fan so I'm biased too ...heheheh...) her tears just keep rolling down silently. I don't know. Everything seems perfect for me when it comes to this scene.

I loved the birthday at the beach scene, too. It started out with Bor in his office with the birthday cake, before he blew out the candles he looked at “HER” and after everyone left, he stops her and asked if she would give him a b-gift by going out with him. Then we get the breathtaking images of the car pulling up to the helicopter. And as the helicopter whisked them away, it seemed that for a moment, they too were being whisked away from all of their problems.

How wonderful was he to order what she likes to eat and he tells her, “I like whatever the person I love likes.”

And that walk on the beach. How bittersweet was it when he asked that for his birthday, if she would imagine for “HIM” how life would have been, if they had gotten married? As she turns away and begins to talk, he wipes the tears from his eyes. Kaew may have been reluctant at his request, but by the way she described their “would have been” life together in such details lead us to assume that she may have imagined life with Bor before this scene. My heart ached for them at how they yearned for a life that they could not have and yes, I was in tears.

Giakiem, the only reason why I hadn’t brought up the birthday at the beach was b/c I knew that this was your favorite scene. You commented on youtube and here, too that this scene on the beach was on your list of “best beach scenes.” And what is so weird is as many times that I have seen this scene, it never occurred to me that their clothes matches until you pointed it out. :)

I loved it in ep10 when Bor asked Kaew if she had feelings for Pipat (which is pure ridiculous, doesn't he remember that he was the one who caused Khing to die??). Kaew answered, "You're saying that as if you don't know me well."~~ Yes, that silenced him.

Looksy : gosh, your writing is so good !!! you took the words right out of my mouth :) I pay attention to their wardrobes a lot :) I really like the way they dress Awn up . Keaw, because she comes from poor family so her wardrobe is not that great. I love most of the dresses that she wear to work, not so much for her everyday clothes :(

Songielove: yeah, that shut him up because she was darn right . I love it when Keaw speak up for herself. She has her share of being stubborn too :)

Oh goodness, i was going to mention the wardrobe too! I really adore Kaew's office wardrobe. They really show off her figure in a sophisticated way (i'm glad Aom gained weight!). I would wear any of them. For Awn, her style is pure sexy and very high class. Their own wardrobe styles of femininity really tell what kind of a woman each are. If you notice, Kaew doesn't wear any garment with bold patterns or hues as opposed to Awn. This can be parallel to each woman's characteristic; Kaew is more low-key and held back from doing things while Awn isn't afraid to take risks and fight for her man.

But i love Kaew. :p And that blue dress she wore in ep5.*^^*

Bor... i love the way he dresses. I'm a sucker for [good-looking men] in button-up, collared shirts. --And not to mention those suits. Pong knows how to give Bor a strong image.

Songie, that was absolutely sinful the way you described those caps. For a minute there, I thought I was reading one of those steamy love novels.---Fans Self---

I loved it in ep10 when Bor asked Kaew if she had feelings for Pipat (which is pure ridiculous, doesn't he remember that he was the one who caused Khing to die??). Kaew answered, "You're saying that as if you don't know me well."~~ Yes, that silenced him.
OMGosh, what did I not love about that ending scene in ep 10? :p

So, Bor goes to fetch Kaew from the ice cream shop where he sees her with Pipat and he says to her, “I thought you hated him.” She storms off in disbelief and that is when he called out, “Kaew!” This moment is monumental b/c this was the first time that Bor called her “Kaew” since the breakup. Before this, he addressed her as “Khun” or her full name “Kaewkanya,” to show her that they were no longer close.

The reason I love this scene so much is the way that Bor and Kaew fought. Although they are no longer a couple, they fought like one. They seem to have a “secret” understanding and Bor drags her to a lobby deep within the building to have their “secret” argument. She told him that she didn’t want to tell him that Pipat touched her hand b/c she knew he would be mad and Bor in return says, “why shouldn’t I be?” So although he has a gf and she supposedly has a bf, both seem to understand that the other would be worried. Bor even ended their fight by saying that if Nunim[whom Pipat used to bait Kaew] comes to see her, for her to call him, “understand?’ to which she replies, “yes.”

And goodness, the way Bor looked at Kaew when he pinned her to the wall. You can totally feel the jealousy and heat in his deep stare.

Yeah Giakiem, I love the way Awn dresses and she really does have the prettiest hair Kudaranai. Also Giakiem, I totally agree with you about the way Aom cries. It’s simply flawless and natural the way her tears just roll off her cheeks.

Songie, don't even get me started on how much I love the way Bor looks in those oh so fitted suits and how he confidently struts around at the office. If only all executives and ceo's looked as good as him in real life. :p

Memorable Moment

It was the ending scene from ep 5. They are in Bor's office and he has just verbally attacked her about not having space in the company for Kaew. If Tunwa is insistent on keeping her, he should pick another employee to fire to make room for Kaew. Bor doesn’t wait for Tunwa’s answer, he focuses on Kaew who has her back to him. He grits his teeth, grabs the chair, turns it and looks intensely at Kaew, “Khun Kaewkunya, why don’t you pick a name, who should he fire?” Kaew is shocked. She has never seen this side of him before, a side that can be so hurtful with his words. And for us the viewers, the drama has just begun. A very memorable moment. :)

As i mentioned in my analysis after the final episode, one of the themes in PNGRT is acceptance and not running away from your problems. I love it that Bor stays true to this throughout the whole lakorn and if you notice it, he also consistently encourages Kaew to learn about this way of living too. Even though it was a bit ill how he used it as a mechanism to get her to work as his secretary, it is still Bor's ultimate life lesson and way of living. That's the most important lesson he's learned in those 6 years and now, he only wants to teach it to Kaew (i guess i'm romanticizing it).xD And you see, he did a well-done job. In the second separation/"break-up" scene, Kaew reminds him to not run away from his problems. Which leads me to talk about that scene as another memorable scene for me.

I think Bor really becomes a man with this scene. He had an understanding of himself and his relationship with Kaew. He knew that he must accept it that Awn was having his child (even though it really wasn't so) and was honest about his feelings. The way he pleaded and cried to the love of his life as reality came to hit him for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th time~ it was really painful, yet breathtaking, to see. He was about to lose this woman for the 2nd time as she stood before him. I have a firm belief that when someone is able to be honest with their feelings and isn't afraid to be looked down at for these sensitive feelings, they have come to an acceptance and understanding of who they really are. So even though he may have become a man after these six years, i think this scene confirms it that he has a greater level of understanding for himself-- and that's what makes him a real, genuine man (in my opinion^^).

What's interesting is that Kaew has never denied her feelings. Instead, she avoids disclosing them and accepts it that it's for the better. However, in ep28 we see that she is able to confess to Bor that she's afraid that she isn't strong enough. It's the first time in the whole lakorn that we hear this from her, although we as the viewers (and as the amazing Bor+Kaew lovers) already know of this. And then we get the kisses *ahhhh* and the continuation scene in ep29. Just lovely how all these memorable scenes tie into one another.

This is what i appreciate about Bor and Kaew's love. It's really the way love should be. Though they don't know it, each of them helps the other to have a better and honest understanding of him/herself. This absolutely completes the essence of this lakorn.*

I wish i had a research paper on this lakorn. <_<
I wonder if the scriptwriter and director even notice all of these little details and references that we awesome PNGRT lovers pick up. >________<
