Poo explains the photos:

Recently personal photos of Pu Praiya leaked on the front page of gossip magazine. When the actress was approached by reporters to ask about the photographs, Pu’s face seems a little stressed.


“Let me explain this, the pictures came from facebook. This is not the first time, the last time when there were photos of me and a Chinese guy, it came from facebook too. Sometimes people you call your friends, they can be bad too. I want to say it’s not cute for them to do this but I am not angry. And in the photos, none of them is my boyfriend. Right now honestly I don’t have a boyfriend and I don’t intend to get one. The photos are taken between friends and those guys are females. I don’t have to explain anymore that that they are my female friends and the guy who are hugging me is actually the boyfriend of the other guy, understand? They’re not men and close friends do this with each other, right?”

“I know it seems inappropriate and I’m sick of it. I have cried so many times. I try so hard and people still have bad intention towards me. And those people are not the media or reporters. Because from what I know the media and the reporters never write news to criticize me. I am close to reporters, and people tend to say I have a positive outlook to life and how can someone with such a positive mind always get these consequences. I told you already I don’t have a boyfriend, is this person my boyfriend? Is that person it? No right now I don’t have a boyfriend. I don’t change boyfriends because those guys are not men, understand?”

Do you know who leaked the photos?

“I don’t know. Just let them be, I don’t get mad at those people. Do you ever see me angry? I always smile at people even when they criticize me. I want everyone to be as positive as me, stop looking at the world in such a negative way. The truth is not always how you see it”

You went overseas to study but you seem to have so many party photos with men

“Oii! There’s only 10 photos and only from 3 parties. I was there 3 months and I went to 3 parties. That’s not bad, right? I have to a little bit. Like I said, I’m happy. And please I’m begging you, don’t make news out of it. Can I not be in the news so much in my life? I’m bored of criticism and sometimes it’s upsetting to read. I try to do the best I can but people are always trying to catch me out in something bad. If you always look at people negatively, you are bound to find something bad about them”

“My parents didn’t say anything. I showed them the pictures already. First mom was like, what is all this? Then I explained to her”

Is this the reason why you broke up with Pat?

“I don’t have a foreign boyfriend, I don’t have a boyfriend. No one can make me break up with P’Pat. It’s my decision to not want a boyfriend”

Are you worried that the Executives will not be happy with the news?

“No, I’m not scared at all. I still have work and I am working. I’m just scared of people’s opinion. I don’t want to be criticized in a harsh way. I go out to functions and look at me, I’m shy. I don’t want to be in the news so much. I’m stressed. Right now I really want to go back to England, do you know that. When people criticize me they don’t understand my feelings. Sadly every move and every mistake she make will reflect badly upon her. It doesn't matter that she's only 18 and is in college, she's view as a role model for the Thai society. I do feel bad for her, but at the same time, she need to be careful of her action.

I understand that she is still young, but she should really be careful with her actions if she cares about having a decent reputation and/or acting again in Thailand. If she does not care anymore, then she could do whatever she wants just like the rest of us. I do not feel bad for her. First of all, I remember reading quite a lot of bad rumors about her in the past months. After that, she should at least try to suck up to the entertainment industry and the fans to gain some points. Instead, she makes her reputation even worse!

I mean it's one thing for her if she parties and come back pregnant with no baby daddy, but I think her personal life should be left alone. I find it kind of lame how they totally followed her all the way there lol or whoever it was that posted the pictures brought them out. I mean dude seriously. I'm pretty sure you can find many college kids that behave more trashy and skanky that those photo's. I don't think I would say anything about her until she has taken those photo's and 3 months later we find out that she is back because she failed her class's lol. I have lots of friends who party hard and take skanky, trashy photo's but photo's don't tell everything; those girls have straight A's and behind those photo's they did nothing. How do I know? because I was there at the same parties. True Poo set a bad example for herself and she tainted her image a bit, but I say let it be lol it's not like the girl is hurting anyone but herself.

Agree with you there Thookatha. If it was here in the western society, those pictures probably wouldn't mean anything but since she's in the entertainment business it makes her look bad.

This is probably why I can never be an actress. I'll probably have photos like these coming out every weekend. Since I do love to go out to the club and bump and grind on random guys. LMAO

I agree with the both of you. She's a freshman in college, thousands of miles away from home to boot, you'd think the girl would want more independence. I don't want to criticize a conservative Thai entertainment circle, but I sympathize with Poo here.
