Well I'm going to canada in a few hours so I'll be gone for a day at least.. and provided I have internet in Canada I'll be online for 2 days.. then a day of no internet on the way back.

Then when I'm in burma I'll truely be gone..

Anyway today was awesome. One of my good friend drove me around town all day. We went to central and other places shopping.. I bought some memory sticks for some people.. and we went in shibuya and ate the buffet.. holy crap that was some good shit. I love it. Then we went to some thai music stores and I spent 3k baht.. like 100 dollars. The cds were only 135 baht!! I bought like 20 of them. So cool. Oh yea and I also bought 3 guitar books!!!!!

well I'm in burma right now. I am in a cybercafe checking stuff out. Unfortunately it takes about 5 mins for me to load one thread which means I will barely be online. I'm not even sure if they'll let me connect my laptop on their network. I don't think that will happen as they put a pretty tight control over the damn internet here.

I'm going to Pathian tomorrow with my dad for a week.

I've also talked to some other people about going along on a trip to help with the disaster and it looks like it might happen as I can still speak burmese pretty good and go along. But it will take some substantial effort by the people here. Good thing my mother still know alot of people who are willing to help. This is definately going to be interesting. I'll keep some small updates here if you peps want.

I just got to Laputta. The NGO that took me in uses a generator to get electricity at all time and also even have internet (using a satellite) even though it is slow. I'm using that internet right now.

I'm going on a speed boat tomorrow and will shoot film all the way. It'll be pretty cool. I'll get shots of the locations although alot of the mess are gone. I did find someone here who gave me all his pictures and some videos which he took on his camera. I copied all of it to my laptop so now I have a rather nice collection of pics. Alot of these are even given out yet as far as I know except to like a few people.

My real work is boring to most people because it has nothing to do with traveling. Well traveling in the digital world maybe.

This trip I'm taking is one I haven't taken for like 7 years.. basically its just a trip to go back to where my heart is which is SE Asia. This trip is turning out great as I ran into many different circumstances. This thing with the NGO is a lucky break I got while trying to crack into this secret area of burma where alot of shit happened with the storm Nargis. I've traveled to a few places here so far.. and the roads are horrible so my ass is hurting. Got video shots of alot of things. Its been a very interesting time so far although most of the time I'm watching Jumong

Hey interestingly Jumong is a huge hit in Burma and it comes on tv twice a week in burmese subtitles. Interesting that I copied Jumong on my HD just for days when I have idle time

I still haven't gotten on the speed boat yet.. I hope tomorrow I'll get to go.
