A little poem I wrote and am planning to embed in a Christmas card along with presents for my boyfriend. We haven't been together long but I think I really like this man. I've let him down a couple of times and though he doesn't mention it, he surely seems to express it. Sometimes, I overthink the things between us. I misjudge him, misread him, misinterpret him, etc. but at the end of the day, I realize that I love him. That's why I care so much to come up with these qualities to the point that I should arrange them into a little poem. Might be corny but I can't express my love for him more than these few words. So, bear with me as I am not a professional writer.

With true love, comes humor.
With true love, comes joy.
With true love, comes loyalty.
With true love, comes patience.
With true love, comes time.
With true love, comes understanding.

With these qualities, true love will not perish.
