I HAVEN'T CHECKED ON IT FOR A COUPLE MONTHS I COME BACK TODAY AND ITS TOTALLY DAMAGED!!

Sometimes, if you accidently click them or something like that they give your computers viruses.

i think if they've located themselves on that forum... u kinda need some kind of filter. but i was told it's not hard to get rid of... but yeah deleting them time and time again can get aggravating lol

Girl.. I feel ya. Those stupid porn people are leaving all kinds of unwanted porn links on my blog too. So now I just have to moderate the comments and filter out those bastards.

I was wondering why'd you have to shut down your forum though? Delete his porn ass and block his ip!!

there's a setting where you control your forum
the ban setting are GREAT in invisionfree forum na.
i used to have ALOT of those in my two forums until i set a ban for it.
you can set your forum to having admin validating after you're done with the clean up
it's a simple step to do .. when you validate, make sure to check the email if they're valid or not.
i usually just google for the @apple.com and see if they're spam account or not ..
if they are, you can just put that email to ban it from registering again.
at least, that's how i control my two forums this way ^^

i feel bad for you .. but you can easily clean it out by using that method.
and if you know what user name the porn ppl use, you can easily click on it, and track it down to delete all their post w/out having to prune the whole forum.
i hope you didn't delete your forum yet so that you can go back and reform it somehow^^

Just FYI.

These rogue accounts that are created and then posts links are actually not real human beings. They're compromised computers that got hacked and are controlled by some individuals to do nasty things like that. Spam for example is one of those things.

Forum bots are really annoying and there are few ways to stop them. Best way of course is to stop them from registering period. I don't know how they do it on free forums. I am assuming the only thing available is to stop them on free forum is to manually enable new accounts or something along that line. You have a few more options when you run a full fledge forum; such as adding extra mods.
