Recommended Lakorns

Not sure if there's a thread like this already and if so, I apoligize in advance. I just thought it'd be helpful since I'm having troubles finding a lakorn to occupy my free time. I'm still in that 4HJHKK phase :coverlaf:

So what lakorns do you think are definitely worth watching and would recommend to anyone? This is really general so they could be any genre.

Thanks! :)

lol, i've tried watching everything possible but nope :( I barely got through Wanida and I did watch Wahn Jai Nai Jomying but I mainly focused on Mint's scenes. I'm in desperate need of recommendations. Now that you mention JLR, maybe I should go back and rewatch it :p

If you haven't seen it already, I suggest watching Pieng Jai Tee Pook Pun, starring Aum Atichart and Taew Nattaporn. I'll be the first to tell you that I was never really a big Aum fan. I was hesitant to start this because of my feelings towards Aum, but I eventually did and boy am I glad I did! This lakorn has one of the best pra-nang couples ever! I was instantly hooked! Aum's character p'Seur is the epitome of a perfect man! I was even able to get my closest friend hooked (and she was never an Aum fan either!) We both fell head over heels with the lakorn and the characters! I suggest that EVERYONE watch this lakorn!

I agree with you! I was never a Aum Atichart fan but this was a great lakorn. The chemistry that Aum and Taew had in this lakorn was great. I second this recommendation! You wont be disappointed! I have a couple of others you may like but it depends on your style but i personally liked Hua Jai Song Pak with Por Tisadee and Taew Nattaporn and Mafia Tee Ruk with Chakrit and Pat Napapa. Those are good too...

To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of Aum either when he first started. I thought JLR and Ateam were overrated but after finally giving in to watch the lakorn, I admit they're a cute couple and I understood why everyone was so hyped up with them. Thanks for the reccomendation! I'll try watching Pieng Jai Tee Pook Pun.

For Hua Jai Song Park, is there a lot of chemistry between Por and Taew? I thought this couple was a little odd but prove me wrong lol. I liked Mafia Tee Ruk though.

I say Fad Na Ya. It's different and interesting. Usually I get bored and stop paying attention halfway in lakorns but this one got me hooked.

Cupid Candy - thanks! I've always liked Por Thrisadee but for some reason I've never really liked twin lakorns. So when that came out, I skipped it but everyone seems to like it. I wonder if the Khmer dubbed version is still around on youtube

There were not much chemistry between Por and Taew cos not much of their scene but more with Boy with Taew or Boy with Gale.
Hua Jai 2 pak was kind of boring to me and I'm really hooked with pieng jai tee pook pun Aum and Taew have good chemistry
its like I'm watching ATEAM again since Taew and Aff resemble.

Hmmm..I don't really get addicted to lakorns easily, but the ones I totally got addicted to and have watched the whole lakorn more than once are:

Niras Song Pope (Pip Rawit and Tuk Bongkhot) - Narng ake goes back into the Thai and Burmese war time, it's a history kind of lakorn, but it's super good...it's actually not boring at all and this time pra ake isn't like a big shot guy, he's just an average soldier..this lakorn is well made and made me cry...makes you love your country even more despite what's going on in thailand lately..I give it 5 stars..keke

Prajan Lai Prayuk (Weir, Aum, Aom+, and Yui) - Of course you have to watch this one..the first lakorn that made me fall in love with Aom+ because he was so hot in here and looked cute with Aum...he pretty much stole the spotlight from Weir..haha I hated Weir's character so bad in here...I give this lkakorn 5 stars...

Sapai Glai Peun Tieng (Ann and Chakrit) - Their first lakorn together and it was super cute...this one gets 4 stars...

Mafia Teerak (Chakrit) - 4 stars

For the ones that are still airing - I'm pretty much addicted to...
Tur Gub KAo Lae Rak Kong Rao (Pae Arak and Pancake) - great storyline..made me fall in love with Pae even though I never liked him at all before this lakorn..I give it 5 stars keke...

If you're looking to watch new lakorns that are out..Rahus Torachon (Ken and Chompoo) looks interesting...
hope this helps...
oh as for movies...watch Body 19 - a psycho horror movie..starring Pae Arak of course kekek....5 stars

I also recommend Ploy Lom Phet. It has the action, slap/kiss, comedy and romance you need in a lakorn. P'ek is a true hardheaded hero.

Cupid Candy - Do you by chance know the khmer title for Ploy Lom Phet?

Does anyone have any thoughts for Taddao Bussaya? I stumbled upon the subbed version by Wishy and tried watching the first 2 eps. I'm interested in knowing how all the conflicts are going to be resolved and how the main characters fall for eachother but in all honesty, I can't tolerate the exagerrated acting. Almost every single actor literally screams on the top of their lungs and to me, its just being dramatic and not really "acting". As much as I like Por, I don't know if I should continue with this lakorn <_<

I think you should continue, it gets cute later on and Taddao is a smart n'ek. It gets funny when Por questions himself on homosexuality. Poor him, Taddao messed him up bad. It gets better each episode.
