^^^^^ I looked up the lakorn and now I remember, nope not going anywhere near it lol. I forgot who recapped the show but I just remember reading it and face-palming at how bad it was. I'm hoping Pong and Mo get a decent storyline here together.
Hahaha. Yeah, it was that bad. :yuck:

I agree. I hope Pong and Mo get a good storyline in here, that's if they even get a love story together. I hope they don't follow the original that Joe was the only who loved Tawan. I hope Tawan returns her feelings in this version, and not at the last minute either. <_<

Is it just me but I find Mo far more beautiful than this newbie ?!
Mo and Pango actually look really alike in the photo I posted. They could pass as twin sisters. But it's just the angle and Mo's expression that makes them appear similar.

I agree with you though. Mo has a dazzling smile and beautiful eyes. She already looks this pretty with just minimal makeup and a simple dress. If done up, she'll shine 10x brighter. And did I mention what a big difference long hair would make? :coverlaf: :coverlaf: On the other hand, nothing really stands out about Pango.

I'm getting more excited for this. I really like the way it's shot. Like I said before, it reminds me of Hong Kong action movies. I just hope Mo's character is as significant, if not more significant than Pango's in here. She doesn't even need to end up with Pong, but as long as she's the bigger female character who helps out Tawan and his team of police officers. Because who knows? If Mo doesn't end up with Pong but is the more significant female character with depth, viewers may sympathize with her and favor her over Preecha/Pango.

I just skimmed through the original and Tookta and Tang were so adorable together. They should've had more lakorns together. Here were some cute scenes of them:

@0:25 Tang tackling Tookta to the ground, flipping her around, realizing that she's a girl and then tackling her again. xD
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M13QJFeHwU
@0:22 Tookta runs into Tang's arms, he restrains her and then drags her away...to the restroom. :coverlaf:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03c0ax-B6AM
@24:09 This is more of a touching scene. I'm guessing Tookta confessed her feelings to Tang, or hinted that she has feelings for him.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEFuzb8elXI

Although I'm not a big fan of Pong, I hope there's more romance between Tawan and Joe in this version. Was Tawan's officer friend also interested in Joe? In the scene above, it sort of seemed like he was upset that Tawan was neglecting Joe. He also seemed jealous when he went to Joe's place. They got into an argument and he left angrily, kicking something. Ak is going to be playing the friend in this version so it'll be super cute if he's interested in Mo's character. :coverlaf:

Director: We've filmed for almost a year. We're halfway there.

Son: Halfway?

Pong: We got halfway?

Director: Yes. We're halfway and the queue for airing should be in July.

Woman Interviewer: What is the difference in this version and the previous version of Tawan Tud Buarapa?

Director: It's more like a serial.  We use film language to tell the story. The original script is already strong but we have to make it modernize to this era.

Pong: I've never done this much fighting action before. At first they sent me to go learn how to shoot a gun and some martial arts. And I thought, "is it this serious?". But once we started filming, I was talking to Son and everyone and said if I hadn't learned beforehand, it would have quite difficult. He really puts in a lot of effort. (meaning the director)

Male Interviewer: Because you're this old. *everyone chuckles)

Director: The actors may have to do many takes. So they have to be pretty fit for an action lakorn.

Son: How fit? I'm won't lose to anyone, I can do action. But I play rai and the martial art form that I do isn't similar to theirs, but I have muay (fighting techniques) and a way to shoot a gun like a rai.

Mo: In this role I play like... a drug dealer. It is different from what I have played before. Honestly, I like this lakorn because it's filmed like a movie. So it's easy even if we have to do many takes, I'm okay with it.

Pong: When you watch it, it's like a movie but it's actually a lakorn. [*Mo agrees it's like a movie*] When we watch it from the monitor, it's hair raising. Makes me feel that it was worth it. The cinematography is beautiful.

Male interviewer: Aside from action will there be drama between the brothers?

Director: Yes, there will be because originally the main point in the plot is that the older brother is a cop and the younger brother is a criminal. This lakorn genre is action drama. We want the action to be like the foreign serials when we watch it and feel that it's a good project. As for the drama we have to puncuate it.

Interviewers: Who has the most drama between the brothers?

Son: Both has as much drama as the other. We each have our own issues.

Pangko: Yes, this is my second project. It's fun but this lakorn has a little more drama.

Buri: I'm playing as a good guy.
*everyone chuckles*

Pong: Oh really?

Interviewer: How?

Buri: Actually, I'm the one who comes up with the planning in the background. You have to tune in because this lakorn has beautiful cinematography and there is a lot of action. Have to applaud P'Kom. (the director)

Director: Yes, I'd like everyone to support. The actors/actresses and every team member worked hard and I want to leave a great lakorn of quality in the arms of everyone. For a great lakorn tune in to Channel ONE.

Thank you so much x0unerthanlater!!!! You're the best!!!      :flowers:

I agree with Pong, Puri and Mo. I'm impressed by the cinematography so far, which is one of the reasons why I'm anticipating this lakorn, despite Mo not having a very significant character. Also, from the cast, to the production, and to the wardrobe, everything looks promising. So hopefully, it's just as popular, if not more popular than the original.

Wow, it's airing in July already!? I'm so happy!!! I have two of Mo's projects to look forward to soon! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

I don't think they're going to change much in this version. I think it's pretty much going to follow the original scene by scene like Leh Ratee and Roy Leh Saneh Rai's remakes. Because from the bts pictures and clips, it looks exactly like the original. For example, this is the scene when Joe steals the purse from the woman and Tawan chases after her. The hat that Mo is holding is the same style of hat that Tookta wore in the original's scene, and the location they're filming at is also outside and at night like in the original's.

Also, there are the boxing scenes between Tawan and Burapa in this version also, and the scene where they're done bathing and hear a gunshot.

Mo is playing a street gangster who falls in love with Pong, a police officer. Pong doesn't love Mo though, he loves Preecha (played by Pango). Pong and Son are brothers and they're both interested in Preecha. In the end, Preecha and Burapa (Son) end up together, while Pong and Mo end up with no one. Mo is a supporting character who helps out Pong's character by finding out information about Burapa (Son).

If you're confused/wondering about why Mo is posing with Pong at the opening ceremony, it's only because Mo's character is interested in Pong's character. In the original, Tawan (Pong) didn't return Joe's (Mo's) feelings. He only saw her as a friend/sister. I highly doubt Exact is going to change that part of the script in this version either to make Mo Pong's love interest. If I'm correct with that assumption, Mo is only a supporting character in here, while Pango is the nang'ek with both male leads fighting for her. Hopefully that makes sense. :)

Aw I'm too late. Hehe. I was going to post the teaser. :coverlaf: But thank you bieluvr! I'm glad I'm not the only one updating this thread! Lol.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited for this!!!!!!!!!! I just rewatched all of my favorite scenes from the original yesterday after seeing that Pong and Son's character descriptions were released. I'm surprised it's going to air so soon since I don't even think they've finished filming yet. But I'm also not that surprised since the director did say it was going to air in July if everything goes as according to planned. So this will air either after Ban Lang Mek or RLSR.

I'm so excited to see Mo back onscreen! I know MPGGG is currently airing, but I'm ecstatic to see her back in an actual lakorn! Hopefully there will be lotssssssssssssssss of promotions for this, with Mo INCLUDED! She's almost ALWAYS missing from every promotion with the cast of her lakorns! Fun Fueng, MPGGG, etc.!

Tookta and Tang were adorable in the original. Their story was more interesting than Tik and Pim's. Their love story had potential to be more romantic than Tik and Pim's too, but it's too bad the writers didn't develop it. I doubt that's going to change in this version either with Pong and Mo since from bts pictures and the teaser, everything seems to be identical to the original. Nevertheless, I'm still looking forward to all of Mo's scenes, as well as her scenes with Pong (despite me not being a big fan of Pong-Mo). I hope the director doesn't disappoint us with Mo's scenes. I hope she gets an equal amount of screentime as Pango does.

Son is a little stiff in the teaser. I never expect much from him though, since he's not the greatest actor. I'm sad they didn't show any scenes of Mo, while they showed scenes of Pango. :( But I guess... Pango is technically the nang'ek so...

I hope this remake is a hit. The original was top rated so it'd be unfortunate if this one received low views. I have hope it'll be well received though (probably not as popular as LR's remake, but hopefully popular enough), since the cast did praise the director a lot for his filming style. Pong and Mo both said the cinematography and acting is like a movie. The first two teasers were a bit suspenseful, but they didn't exactly wow me. Hopefully the lakorn itself is much more captivating and enjoyable like the original was. And hopefully Exact releases a longer and more detailed teaser with all of the important characters in it.

I also hope Mo gains more fans from this. Hopefully after this, Sorry I Love You, and/or MPGGG, she'll get her due as a full time nang'ek for Exact and get cast in better lakorns. It's about time Mo receives a good lakorn, preferably slap-kiss, where she's the one carrying the lakorn. Something where the focus is on her for once so she doesn't need to stay in the shadows of two male leads (Likit Fah Cha Ta Din, Tawan Tud Burapah, Mue Prab Gook Gook Goo), a vengeful nang'rai (Marn Kammathep, Koom Nang Kruan), or a more significant female character (E-sa, Peak Marn, Fun Fueng, Pan Ruk Pan Rai, Sorry I Love You). Not to mention, that lakorn needs to be one where she gets a lot of intimate scenes and good love development with her pra'ek. Of course, the pra'ek has to be a talented actor from her generation, not someone who's older and incompatible with her. So, from Exact that's either Toomtam or New.

Ak is playing Pong's partner in here. In the original, the partner seemed to be interested in Joe (Tookta's character). So I think Ak will also be showing some interest in Joe (Mo's character) in this version too. Hehe. Hence, this picture.

Aside from TooMo, Ak and Mo are also super adorable. :spin: :spin: :spin: :spin: :spin: :spin: :spin: Who am I kidding? Mo looks good with everyone. But especially Toomtam and Ak. :coverlaf: In the future hopefully Push and New can be added to that list too (and a few others). :coverlaf: :coverlaf:

Exact will do a press conference for Tawan Tud Burapah and Jad Ruk on the 14 at Siam Center. I think it's the same place where they did the promotions for RLSR and Ban Lang Mek. I hope Mo gets to be a part of it too. She's always missing from the promotions for her projects. I hope Exact doesn't only promote Pong and Son there, or even worse, Pong, Son and Pango only. If they're going to include Pango, they might as well include Mo too. I mean, she is listed after Pong and Son in the cast list, even though she's not the nang'ek. Also, Exact included the supporting cast like Chin and Note for RLSR at their promotion, along with Push, Lily and the actress who plays Pornfah. So there's no reason why Mo and Pango shouldn't be included at the promotions for Tawan Tud Burapah here when they're the two most important female characters in this lakorn.

Bie will be at Siam Center for Jad Ruk too. How awkward will that be for Bie and Mo? Lol. I'm looking forward to it. :coverlaf: Of course, that's if Mo even gets to attend.

This will be airing after Ban Lang Mek in the Mon-Tues slot (I don't know what date exactly) since Jad Ruk is airing after RLSR.

The teasers were very interesting. I really like the whole feel of the teasers & they did a great job at setting the base.
Just wish there were scenes of Mo. C'mon now. Other than that, Son's looking good :)
