[Movie] A Chinese Ghost Story 2011

Has anyone seen this new version yet? I finally got the chance to watch it.. But boy am I disappointed.. I've been a fan of "A Chinese Ghost Story" for ages.. and the storyline for this 2011 version was totally a new story.. it's like they tried to combine all 3 parts together.. the main guy is supposed to be the scholar.. but it was Louis' character the demon hunter instead.. >_< ahaha but it's ok.. because the scholar dude was a bit too annoying for me in here.. plus Louis looked way better than him too LOL

Even though I wasn't that pleased with the movie, it was still interesting to watch.. I found Liu Yi Fei absolutely beautiful <3<3<3 At least they made the computer graphic look good

I have not yet seen this, but I love the song though. I have to agree that Louis is more attractive.

I've seen this and I've got to say I like it and would recommend it. Even though they did make the story a bit different and the main guy was more of Louis than Yu Shaoqun, I think it was great over all.

LOLXD I think Yu Shaoqun is cute and plays the role really great, lol like always, Ning is weak. XD
I love Liu Ye Fei in here; she and Yu Shaoqun makes a really cute couple and her and Louis koo also.

This version is good.. but i don't like how it didn't follow the original storyline.. im glad that they used the original ost though.. hehe ... and the other music in here is nice as well.

Crystal is stunning beautiful so they made justice to Joey's character. I stopped watching when I saw the guy who play Ning lol Sorry I am being shallow but he cannot compare to Leslie Leung in acting and looks. So sadly this didn't follow the original but I don't mind as long justice is served and apparently it wasn't (although I didn't finish the movie).

It was awkward to watch Crystal and sadly she wasn't able to portray that sex appeal Joey had. Chinese girls are so much prettier back in the 80s and early 90s. Joey, Maggie, Vivian, Christy, Bridgette, etc. I mean Crystal is extremely beautiful but I just don't see her sell as a sexy vixen.
