Title: Chay Sovanry from supporting role to a leading role
Introduction: Chay Sovanry is one of beautiful actress. At young age, her goal is to become a singer but her destiny wants her to become an actor instead. It’s a luck for her because right now she has become the lead actress for “Somdach Ta’s video Producation� (former King, King Norodom Sihanouk).
Chay Sovanry starts in entertainment world since 2003 but not many people have recognize her this is due to her acting skill have not yet reach to the level to be a lead actor. Just now, she has an opportunity to be a lead actress for Somdach Ta’s video Production.�
Chay Sovanry said that it is an honor that the “ Somdach Ta�(Former King Norodom Sihanouk) has pick her to be a lead actress. The title of this movie is “I am sorry Miss, because I am person who like the same sex� she plays with male actor Eng Rithy. This movie just finishes filming recently. Miss Sovanry continues to say that she is not sure whether the movie will be show on the T.V. In this movie, she has a role as a widow who lives in America. Her husband died in Iraq. Later on, she meets with the leading actor who just came from France. As they getting to know each each, she has ask the leading actor to get marry in front of Angkor Wat. But the leading actor told her that he only love same sex.
Because she had been having acting experience in the past, this movie does not give her any difficulty. Until now she had film almost 10 movies. These movies are Golden Butterfly, Murderer, Chet Sava, Daughter in law, Mean Sombok Tae Rogear, Sneah Min Chnea Snet and Plove Der Doung Chet which is an educational movie for an organization. She has a role that educate teen not ear sexy clothes. Chay Sovanry said “for me whether I play a leading role or support role is not important as long as I can provide service to people. Right now she feels happy because wherever she goes, people can recognize her especially in other town and city across the country. Some people had asked me to take picture. This had made her try even harder in this career.
As we look at her past when she was first start in entertainment industry, Chay Sovanry was told it just a coincidence. She continues to say that when I first filming, it was very hard for me because there was scenes such as making love, hug, and kiss that me feel afraid. But later, it has become normal because I think that it is not real. But its turn out to be the leading actor afraid instead and his heart beat has become irregular (smile).
Everyday, she take time to film a karaoke or Tormeas production, Reymeas, SM, and many more.
Besides acting, she is also know how to sing because it was her goal since she was young But at this time, she is afraid that she forgot lyric and plus she is not brave enough. Do you hope that you can become famous like Miss. Danh Monica, Douch Sophear, and Keo Pichpisey? She said, “I cannot compare myself with them and I don’t want to compete with them either because right now my acting has not reach to the top yet. I just hope that in the future I will be successful�.
Besides acting, Chay Sovanry is also a student who is in 12 grades. She is also an owner of clothing store in New Big Market. When she is having a break from school and filming, she goes to Thailand so that she can pick out some new fashion clothes for her store.
Chay Sovanry said that she have spent about 8 thousand dollars on her store. This money is from her sweat and blood that she been saving up and other portion is from her mom.
This year, she is 19 years old. But by just look at her feature, it is unbelievable for her age. But she said that “I am a person who has big bone and people will see than I am bigger than my age. She has a beautiful skin. She told without hiding that no matter how busy she is, she has to take time off to care her beauty because she is a person who is modern. She always goes to spa, soaks in milk, and put on lotion so that her skin look white because she like to wear clothes that show her neck just like today teen who is modern and sexy.
For her love live, Chay Sovanry said that she does not have anybody special or have any relationship with anybody. But it does not mean no one love her. She just wants to be single for a little bit longer since now she is still young.
Chay Sovanry said that as for marriage, she does not care about the age because who knows she may meet somebody today or tomorrow. For a guy in her dream, she said that usually girl wants a good guy and wealthy to be a husband. But your soul mate could be out opposite from your dream and you can not escape. It doesn’t matter whether that person in or outside entertainment world. It is depend on fate.
