Man there are so many important events. But I try to narrow it to events I can think of that affected the course of most of humanities's future/lives/cultures.


What are the top 5 most significant events of the 20th century.



1.) Assassination of Archduke Ferdinand (Catalyst for WWI)

2.) Operation_Barbarossa (Hitler's defeat in Russia) (The beginning of the end of the Axis Powers in WWII)

3.) Manhattan Project (Start of the Nuclear Age and the beginning of men's ability to totally destroy himself)

4.) ARPANET (Start of the Digital/Internet Age and one that brings globalization/ideas/people all together)

5.) Fall of the Berlin Wall (End of the Cold War and America's rise to become the sole Superpower in the world)


What are the top 5 most significant events in human history?



1.) Agriculture and domestication of Animals (Humans are no longer nomads and starts to form grand societies)

2.) The discovery/invention of the number zero (Math is no longer unwieldy)

3.) Creation of the Zoroastrianism religion (All major modern religions can be connected to this.)

4.) Ferdinand Magellan trip around the world (Old world meets New World and millions die)

5.) French Revolution/Age of Enlightenment/Age of Reason
