I believe GMMTV will pull all stops to make this successful. They have more than a year to prepare. For starters, Bright should be the main p'ek no ifs no buts.

I just hope the rumour that Dan Worrawech is directing this ain't true. Please, that guy is better off acting than being behind the camera. Have someone like @kaewoic or Fon Kanittha taking charge of these. They know this genre very well, as they did "Ugly Duckling" and "U Prince" which are amongst the most successful non-BL shows of GMMTV.

I agree with putting Bright in here as the main lead, he has the bad boy looks, height, and decent acting to pull this off. Especially now with his explosive popularity, this would give such a boost to the project in terms of interest and publicity. This has the potential to be a big hit if GMM plays their cards right.

That guy can manage to mess up a good story and cast. He needs more experience as an assistance on set and film school.

Ugly duckling and u prince were good because it was short and sweet. It didn't have a bunch of stupid drama. Oom

Beyond frontier was stupid and annoying.....with dramas

BOF.....is a dragged out repeated plotline....

Pra'nang had that constant repetitive push and pull it got soo tiring. KVersion .

It would have been a little better for me if they didn't have sooo many episodes and have the P&P....it dragged on and I didn't care anymore.

I have not finished BOF in any version. I Skimmed through it to finishing watching the 2nd couple for the K version.

Lazy production...it is easier to just remake a story that they know ppl liked/watched....

I rather an adaptations and have them change the annoying part of the drama.

Better yet....adapt from all these novels out there and revise it.
BOF doesn’t fit the Thai culture so when it’s remake, it just doesn’t make sense or relate. Same goes for MLFAS, it just doesn’t relate to Thai audiences. Yes, I agree that it better to adapt or make drama from novels instead of remaking .

They changed the ending to the Baifern drama that's adapted from a novel. People loved it.

Imagine if they finally changed the ending to Koogum after all these years.

Koo Kam is a classic and if they do change the ending, people may get mad. The ending is what made the lakorn so memorable, hence the title.

Man if Kao was still with GMM she would’ve been the perfect fit as the n’ek :( I’ve always wanted her in this if Thailand ever made a remake!

I won't be surprised if they'll incorporate BL angle in one of the 4 boys.

Please GMMTV TPTB, let one of the 4 be Kay! I wanna see #LukeKay onscreen. They've been such a tease in Kay's vlogs.

I'm curious why did she leave GMM.

Not sure why cause she was doing pretty well there and had a solid fanbase of her own and a pretty popular Koojin with Tor. She’s still doing very well at Ch3 though. Her pairing with Alex is Kom Faek was very popular and her lakorn with Great was in the top 5 of the year ratings wise. She’s good at choosing her projects!

GMM is great but it still small compared to ch3. She had lots of ch3 friends to. I think her contract still give her freedom to do GMM movies and such.

They really have to alter a lot of things to make it fit. But a lot of times, they copy almost everything.
With a capable writer and production it will turn out well like that one.

So a capable writer can revise these kdrama to fit thai culture and still use the storyline

I hope GMMTV will do something similar to this for F4 Thailand, once there's some sense of normalcy already. This was their search for the 12th U Prince (who ended up to be Lee Thanat, who was paired with Mild Wiraporn in "Badly Politics").

There are a couple of non-winners who stayed on in the entertainment industry - Pluempong (who's currently with GMMTV and is in "2gether" as one of Tine/Win's friends) and Copter (who became one of the lead actors in BL drama "2 Moons").

Now I'm confused and can someone enlighten me on this - GMM is supposed to be the biggest entertainment company in Thailand. It has 2 networks, several TV and film production companies (GDH, GMMTV, Nadao Bangkok, GMM Bravo, etc.), music companies, amongst others. But how come their actors aren't that "popular"? (Exception perhaps are the BL actors, but that's another "case study" so to speak.)

For instance, when I check out the most followed Thai artists on IG, they're mostly Channel 3 and 7 talents. Baifern, Mai, they're there but they're technically freelancers (and they both have Channel 7 roots). I think the biggest GMM artist I can find is Push perhaps? The most established artists of Exact/One31 Vill and Son both have less than 2M followers.

(Who knows if Bright will get there eventually as he's got almost 3M followers now? He's the most followed GMMTV artist already.)

Kao S has roots at GMM and she has like 8 million followers. Actually all of the cast of hormones is pretty popular.
