Chapter 18: It Was No Ones Fault

(At the meeting)

“Thanks Mr. Chaisuwan (referring to Sila), we are gladly honor to corporate with you,” the business men said.
“You’re welcome, I’m also glad too,” Sila replied.
They shook hands as they all left. Sila and Nee walked to his car as his phone started to ring.
“Sila, this is auntie, I came to visit Aleecha, but she is gone, I don’t know where she went too,” Mrs. Buaunawti said.
“Did you ask the nurse?” Sila asked.
“I did, but they said she was in her room,” Mrs. Buaunawti replied.
“I’ll come as soon as possible auntie, don’t worry,” Sila said.
Sila hung up as he turned to Nee and said, “We’ll have to go to the hospital first, Aleecha is missing.”
Sila got in his car as his phone rung again. He quickly answered it.
“Boss, you have to hurry, Dao…umm, Dao, Bua, Alice and your fiancée is at the top of the roof. They locked the door and a bad conversation is going on right now. You’ll have to hurry Boss. They also have a gun too and we already heard a shot, I don’t know if anybody is hurt,” the co-worker said.
“I’m coming right now, did you call the police?” Sila asked.
“No I haven’t I’ll do it right now,” the co-worker said.
Sila hung up as Nee asked him what was going on.
“Sila, is there something?” Nee asked.
“I don’t know, but my sister, Aleecha, Alice and Dao are on the top roof and something insane is going on,” Sila said then drove off.

(At the roof of Sila’s company)

Employees where banging on the roof door to get it open. Mr. Numwit yelled many times to see if any of them were going to open the door too, while Alice, Bua and Aleecha were pushed to the edge of the roof where Dao was slowly walking to them.
“Dao, stop this if you don’t want P’Sila and everyone else to hate you,” Bua said to her.
“P’Sila, P’Sila…,” Dao repeated, “I know you loved him like everyone of us too, but I’ll never let you win him.”
Then she pulled out the handkerchief from her back pocket and said, “Does this belong to you?”
“How did you get it?” Bua asked as she tried to grab it, but Dao threatened her with the gun and she stopped.
“I got it the night me and Sila made love of course,” Dao said smiling back at her.
“Alice said the same thing too,” Bua replied.
“It was Dao plan to get you to claim that you weren’t Sila’s sister and that you loved him too,” Alice said to Bua.
“Yes, it was my plan to have Alice do that, I got this handkerchief the night you took Sila from me. You were stupid enough to have dropped this when you took him,” Dao said.
“What! are you crazy? I gave that to P’Sila right after I left the room that day,” Bua replied.
“Then who came and took Sila away from me, he could have been mine that night if one of you didn’t take him away,” Alice said.
“Dao be calm, you don’t have to do this,” Aleecha said out of breath.
“I don’t care,” Dao replied.
“What are you talking about Dao?” Alice asked.
“I saw Bua handing this handkerchief to Sila, but Sila didn’t take it, then I turned away,” Dao said.
“And right after that, he took it back,” Bua replied, “Dao if you love P’Sila; you shouldn’t do this to us.”
Dao then takes out her diary from behind her.
She opened up to the page where she wrote her suicidal note and read it to them, “If it is for Sila, I am willing to die. If someone tries to block my path, I will kill them alive. If I can’t have him no one can.”
“Why do you want to kill us?” Aleecha asked.
“Because I hate all of you,” Dao replied then looked to Bua, “Do you remember that night of the Cinderella play at your college?”
Bua looked at her confused, “what do you mean?”
“I bet you forgot. Remember who you bumped to when you walked over to the light switched that night,” Dao said.
Bua quickly had a flash back and remembered that the person she bumped into was Dao, and then she thought, “So it was Dao who turned off the lights that night.”
“Over the years, I may have forgotten the look on your face that night, but still I could remember it was you,” Dao said.
Dao took another look at her diary again as Alice quickly ran and caught hold of the gun as Dao’s diary and the handkerchief fell down. Bua quickly grabbed the handkerchief and Dao’s diary while Alice and Dao fought over the gun.
“Let go of the gun Alice!” Dao yelled.
“Stop this Dao or you’ll feel sorry for the rest of your life,” Alice said.
“I will never let go of this gun, like how I will never let go of Sila too,” Dao said.
Alice and Dao fought over for the gun as each tried to pull the gun away from the other until it was between both of them and a shot went lose.
Alice fell down as she held the side of her stomach as blood rushes through.
Bua quickly rushes to the door as Dao gave a shot in the sky. Aleecha gently walks over to Alice and helped her.
“Alice, are you okay?” Aleecha asked. She ripped her hospital gown and pressed it against the flowing blood trying to block it.
“Don’t think you can escape Bua,” Dao said as she went over and grabbed Bua.
She pulled Bua over to where Alice and Aleecha were at and pushed her down then said, “What do you guys have to say, it’ll be you last words.”
All the girls were frightened, they were scared. Fear grew upon each of their face, as Dao’s shadow crouch over them.

(Back to Sila and Nee)

They were still suck in traffic. It was only one block until they reached his company.

(On the roof)

Dao took back her diary and the handkerchief and held it in one hand while her other hand had the gun.
“If you all have nothing to say then I guess I’ll have to finish the job up right now,” Dao said as she points the gun at them.
Aleecha couldn’t bear to watch the moment. Alice was almost half dead from bleeding. Bua eyes grew with more fear.
“I’ll kill you each one by one,” Dao said, “First it’ll be you Bua.”
Bua looked at her as a cold chill ran through her bones; Dao pointed the gun at her and walked closer.
While Sila and Nee, finally made it through traffic and were about to turned into the parking way as the police showed up right behind them.

(On the roof)

“P’Sila help me!” Bua yelled.
Dao quickly turned as Bua grabbed hold of her hand. The two both held on to the gun as they shot it in different direction. They were only focusing on the gun and none realize that the edge was right there beside them. Holding the gun with only one hand, Dao quickly pulled in and bit Bua’s hand as the gun dropped. Bua quickly pulled away as she pushed Dao away from her too. Dao releases the handkerchief and diary as she tipped over the pile of poles and fell over the roof top. The handkerchief fell in front of Bua as the diary landed behind the stack of pole where it was covered up. Dao landed on the ground right before Sila and Nee went into the parking way. Nee quickly turned to Sila with fright. From above, Alice was unconscious, Aleecha was frightened and Bua quickly grabbed her handkerchief and stuffed it somewhere deep where no one could find it and pretend nothing had happened.
Back on the ground Sila and Nee got out of his car.
“Sila, don’t go close,” Nee said as she held on to him.
Sila releases off Nee’s hand and kneel down as he turned the head of the person around to find that it was Dao.
“Dao,” Nee said from behind as she kneels down in tears.
Sila looked up into the roof, and saw no one as the police quickly rushes over and pushed them to the side as some rushed up to the roof. The ambulance came as they wrapped Dao up and took her in. On the roof, the police examined the scene and found only the gun and the three ladies. Back on the ground the police blocked away the people. The police then came down with Bua and Aleecha and the gun in a bag. They had to roll Alice down, she was nearly dead. News reporters reported the issue.
“P’Sila,” Bua said, “I’m scared, I didn’t do anything, you have to help me.”
“Sila,” Aleecha said as she collapses.
“Aleecha,” Sila said, but he was blocked by the police. They have to investigate what happened first. They took the girls away as Sila and Nee followed right behind them.

(At the Wattapol’s house)

The television was on as the news at Chaisuwan’s company went on.
The news reporter said, “Today at Mr. Sila Chaisuwan’s Advertsie Co. Ltd., four young ladies by the name of Daodern Wattapol, Aleecha Buaunawti, Bua Chaisuwan and Alice Ritaporn were involved in a shooting scheme at happened on the roof. Daodern fell off the roof and is dead, while Alice got shot and was emergence to the hospital. Police are still investigating the incident. We will be back later with more information.”
“Dao, my sweetie,” Mrs. Wattapol said as she fainted.
“Madame, Madame,” the servant said.

(At Su-Nita’s work place)

“Nita, did you hear the news,” Fah asked.
“What news?” Su-Nita asked.
“They said that Daodern had committed suicide at Sila’s company, and she is dead,” Fah replied
Su-Nita was shocked, she thought to herself, “it must have involved Sila.”

(After the incident)

After searching if any of the ladies had any kind of weapon or evidence the police found nothing. Then they left to investigate the incident.
After Alice awakens from the surgery, she was questioned about the incident.
“Alice Ritaporn, explain to me what happened on the roof top?” the chief of the police asked.
“The only thing I remembered was Dao sending flowers writing that it was from Sila. I walked up to the roof and found Dao there with Aleecha tied up. Then Bua showed up as Dao took out the gun and forced it against the three of us. She said some strange things like, ‘If I can’t have him no one can.’ She took out a handkerchief and said some things to Bua of how Bua stole Sila away from her. Then she took out her diary and started reading it to us, she wrote some strange things in there. The only thing she read to us was, ‘If it is for Sila, I am willing to die. If someone tries to block my path, I will kill them alive. If I can’t have him no one can.’ Then I tried to take away her gun. We both were holding it then a shot went lose and it hit me. I can’t remember anything after that, I was bleeding too hard and couldn’t hear a thing everyone else was saying, and I was nearly dead if Aleecha didn’t help stop the blood from flowing,” Alice answered him.
“Did you say she had a diary and handkerchief?” the chief asked.
“Yes, she had a diary and handkerchief,” Alice replied.
“Who does this diary and handkerchief belong too?” the chief asked.
“The handkerchief belongs to Bua, but it was given to Sila, about the diary it belongs to Dao,” Alice replied.

Then the police left and went to Aleecha’s room.
“Explain to us the incident that happened on the roof top?” the chief said.
“I was here in the hospital then somehow I ended up on a roof top. There Alice and Bua came up and Dao pointed a gun at all of us. She took out a handkerchief and talked to Bua about how Bua took Sila away from her. Then Dao took out her diary and started reading it to us. She wrote a suicidal note in there. I remember she said, ‘If it is for Sila, I am willing to die. If someone tries to block my path, I will kill them alive. If I can’t have him no one can.’ Then Alice and Dao fought for the gun, but Alice was shot accidentally and I helped her. It was a mistake when the shot went lose; Alice tried to prevent Dao from shooting us, while Dao only did to prevent herself too. Then Alice fell down as Bua tried to run for the door, but Dao grabbed her and pulled her back. Then she pointed the gun to us and said that the first person to dies is Bua. Bua tried to prevent herself from getting shot, she fought for the gun. Dao and Bua fought with each other, while I tried to stop the flowing blood from Alice. Then when I heard Dao’s scream, I looked and she had fallen down already.”
“So Bua tried to prevent her self from getting shot, but instead Dao fell down the roof top?” the chief questioned her.
“Yes, each of us as just trying to prevent ourselves from getting shot sir,” Aleecha replied.
“So there really was a diary and handkerchief?” the chief asked.
“Yes, sir there was,” Aleecha replied.
“Who did this diary and handkerchief belong too?” the chief asked.
“As I know, the handkerchief belongs to Bua and the diary belongs to Dao,” Aleecha said.

The chief left the hospital and went back to the police station where he questioned Bua the same thing.
“Explain to me the incident that happened on the roof top?” the chief asked.
“Sir, I was just working on my desk as a bouquet of flowers was sent to me. I took a look at it and the note said to meet Sila up on the roof. So I left for the roof and there I found Dao, Alice and Aleecha. Aleecha was tied up, Dao then explain that it was her plan to have all of us to the roof. Then Dao took out her gun and forced it against us. She then takes out the handkerchief I gave P’Sila and started saying weird stuff. She said I stole P’Sila away from her, but P’Sila is my brother, I will never do that to him. The handkerchief was only a gift I made for my brother. Then Dao took out her diary and read to us some suicidal words, ‘If it is for Sila, I am willing to die. If someone tries to block my path, I will kill them alive. If I can’t have him no one can.’ Then Alice tried to stop her, but a shot went lose and Alice was shot. I tried grabbing the handkerchief and diary and run to the door, but Dao grabbed onto me and pushed me back down to the ground. There she said to us that if we had any last words, we were to say it to her. She pointed the gun at me and said I was the first one to go. So then I quickly held on to her hand to prevent her from shooting us. We fought over the gun as we didn’t see the edge right by. Dao pulled in and bit my hand as I pulled away and she slipped on the piles of poles and fell down,” Bua said.
“Dao was the last one to have the diary and handkerchief right?” the chief asked.
“Yes sir, Dao had the items with her when she fell down,” Bua replied.
“Who does the diary and handkerchief belongs too?” the chief asked.
“The handkerchief is mine, but I gave it away to P’Sila a long time ago, about the diary, it belongs too Dao,” Bua said.

The chief released Bua from the room as he called the workers at Chaisuwan’s company in. They said almost the same stuff.
“A bouquet of flowers was sent to Alice, but she didn’t tell me who it was, then she left for the restroom. After a while we went looking for her, but couldn’t find her, and then we heard a gunshot on the roof and found her up there,” one worker said.
“I brought the flowers to Bua, but then left, I don’t know what happened after that,” another said.
“I phoned boss after I heard the gun shot and argument, then I phoned the police,” said one other worker.
“I heard a gunshot, a few workers followed me up to the roof, but the door was lock, all we could hear was screams and arguments,” said another worker.
“I am clueless of this, a worker just came to me and said that Dao and the others were on the roof, I followed them and the door was lock. We heard a few more gunshots after that then as we heard again, there was only a loud screaming,” Mr. Numwit said.
The chief released the workers and called Sila in.
“Mr. Sila Chaisuwan, how well do you know Dao?” the chief asked.
“Dao is a model for my company, she is my employee,” Sila replied.
“Other than that do you and her ever have something involved together?” the chief asked.
“No, she is only an employee to me,” Sila replied.
“Where were you today about the time of noon?” the chief asked.
“I was at a meeting with some business men,” Sila replied.
“So you know nothing of this, how were you inform that there was a shoot scheme going on at your company?” the chief asked.
“An employee phoned me right after Mrs. Buaunawti phoned me that Aleecha was missing,” Sila replied.
“When you arrived at your company did you see anything?” the chief asked.
“All I saw was Dao dead on the ground,” Sila replied.
“What about a diary and handkerchief did you happened to see any of these items?” the chief asked.
“No sir,” Sila replied.
“Who was with you the whole time you were gone?” the chief asked.
“My assistant Nee,” Sila replied.
Sila was released as Nee was called in.
“Where you with Sila the whole time?” the chief asked.
“Yes I was,” Nee replied.
“How were you two informed about the shooting scheme?” the chief asked.
“Boss and I left the restaurant as Mrs. Buaunawti phoned and said Aleecha was missing from the hospital. Sila then hangs up and receive another called from an employee about gunshot noises on the roof,” Nee replied.
“Do you know anything about this relationship of Dao and Sila?” the chief asked.
“As I know, they are just employee and boss,” Nee replied.
“How about the diary and the handkerchief? When you two arrived, did you see any of these items?” the chief asked.
“No sir, we only saw Dao dead on the ground,” Nee answered.
Nee was released out as the chief and the others had a conversation about the incident. Sila along with Nee and Bua waited as his parents showed up right before Mr. and Mrs. Wattapol. After hours of investigating and interviewing the evidence and workers, police found the solution.
“After investigating the scene, none of the young ladies were at fault of killing Dao. Dao was the one who took the gun and charged it against them. They only tried to prevent themselves which end up causing Dao to fall off. We will press charge against the people who were involved, but other than that there has been no prove yet that this was a suicidal incident. So we hear by release the victims until further evidence are proven,” said the chief of the police.
Mrs. Wattapol got up and said, “I am not satisfied, what they did to my daughter deservers more than just charges, they should be lock up forever.”
“Madame, there is no prove yet that they were the one who pushed your daughter off the roof, it was your daughter that took the gun and charged it against them,” the chief said.
Mrs. Wattapol walked to Sila and slapped him and yelled, “It’s all because of you that is why my daughter is dead, and it’s because of you!”
Mr. Wattapol pulled his wife away and said, “Honey calm down, this is the police station, you can’t validate their laws.”
“I’m sorry,” Sila said, “everything that happened today was a misunderstanding and mistake only.”
“A mistake huh, so my daughter’s death is only a mistake?!” Mrs. Wattapol said in tears.
Mr. Wattapol pulled her away as Sila said, “Sir, I’m sorry of what happen to your daughter, I am willing to pay for the cost of this.”
“Don’t think you’re money can buy that, this will not be the last time you see me Sila, it won’t be,” Mr. Wattapol said then took his wife and left.
Sila stood there without a word as the chief said to him, “Mr. Sila Chaisuwan, please follow me inside, I have something personal to talk with you about.”
Sila followed the chief in as he began his talk.
“The incident happened at your company, but two items that were mention were missing at the scene. I had my officers searched the scene, but still these two items are still unfound. We want you to work with us, if some how these two items seems to surface at your company again, please noticed us as soon as possible,” the chief said.
“I will sir,” Sila replied.

(At the hospital)

“Mom,” Aleecha said, “is Sila alright?”
“Don’t worry Aleecha, Sila is fine, nothing is going to happen,” Mrs. Buaunawti said.
“Sweetie, are you scared?” Mr. Buaunawti asked.
“Not at all dad, as long as nothing is charged against Sila then it’s good,” Aleecha replied.
“Okay then, get some sleep honey, you need the rest,” Mrs. Buaunawti said.

While in another room Alice was sound asleep as Vie came to visit her. He brought a bouquet of flowers to Alice. Vie enters the room and found Alice still sound asleep. He walked up to the chair and sat down beside her as he places the bouquet on the table. Alice suddenly feels the need for water and started calling. Vie quickly got up to find water and brought it over and slight awaken Alice to take a drink.
“Alice, here’s the water,” Vie said.
Alice slightly awoken and drink the water, then said, “thank you.”
“I was worried about you, when I heard about the news from my brother I just quickly rushed to see you, especially when I heard you were shot too,” Vie said.
“I’m fine now, thanks to Aleecha,” Alice said, then asked, “is Sila okay?”
“Why do you ask about Sila, he’s fine, there is nothing wrong with him, you should worry about yourself first?” Vie said.
Alice took a deep breath and said, “As long as Sila is okay then I’ll be fine too.”
Vie looked at her then turn to get the bouquet and handed it to Alice.
“Oh, here,” Vie said handing it to her, “I got this for you.”
“Thanks Vie,” Alice said.
“I won’t bother you anymore, you can go ahead and rest, I’ll watch you tonight, don’t worry,” Vie said smiling at her.

(At the Chaisuwan’s house)

Sila, Bua and their parents were home. Pakorn was there waiting for them.
“Pakorn, you came,” Sila said.
Pakorn greeted them as they left and walked to Bua.
“Bua,” Pakorn said.
“P’Pakorn,” Bua said, “what are you doing here?”
“I was worried about you, it frightened me when I heard the news, so I came and waited here for you,” Pakorn replied.
“You didn’t have too,” Bua replied.
“You look pale, you must have been very scared,” Pakorn commented.
“P’Pakorn, I want to rest now, I’m tired after this long day,” Bua said as she walked in.
Pakorn followed behind her and said, “Bua, don’t be scared, nothing will happen, you still have me to cheer you on.”
Bua replied, “Thanks, but I don’t want anyone else to involve in this.” Then she went inside.
Pakorn gave a deep breath and then left.
In Bua’s room, she lay down on her pillow and cried her eyes out. She could still feel that moment she pushed Dao away and she fell down. Everything was still so clear; she just wished she would have wakened up from that nightmare already. Then her phone started ringing. Bua answers it.
“Bua, it’s me Win,” Win said.
“What do you have to say?” Bua asked.
“I just wanted to say I was worried about you, I’ll be on your side and protect you from that fear that grew on to you today, don’t worry,” Win said.
“Thanks Win, but I don’t want to talk with anyone right now, I’m sorry,” Bua said then hung up.
Bua went back to crying her eyes out again.
After a while Bua stopped crying. She reached deep into her pocket and took out the handkerchief. The officers couldn’t find it when they were searching through her. She left her room and took out a pack of match and walked outside to the little bush. She placed the handkerchief down and lights the match and burned the handkerchief.
Bua said inside her heart, “This handkerchief is useless now; it is only an evidence that will get P’Sila to hate me. Burning this piece of trash will burn away this death of Dao.”
Bua gently got up as she saw Sila leaving the house. She wonders to herself where Sila was going.

(At the Wattapol’s house)

Mrs. Wattapol cried and cried. It annoyed Mr. Wattapol. She hugged Dao’s picture and cried and cried. The whole house was annoyed by her.
“Dao my sweet daughter, my sweet princess, come back to mommy,” Mrs. Wattapol cried and said out loud.
“Stop it honey, even if you cry this much, Dao will not come back,” Mr. Wattapol said.
“You, you should have given your money to that chief to lock up those girls, it’s their entire fault my beautiful princess is dead, it’s their entire fault,” Mrs. Wattapol cried to her husband.
“Don’t worry honey, I won’t let the death of my daughter pass by so easily, that Sila and those ladies will pay for what they did to our daughter,” Mr. Wattapol said.
“What can you do huh? What can you do?!” Mrs. Wattapol cried to him.
“Just watch honey, Sila will never know what hit him, just like the Suntida too,” Mr. Wattapol said.
A servant quickly ran to him and said, “Mr. Numwit came.”
“Tell him to come in,” Mr. Wattapol said.
Mr. Wattapol and Mr. Numwit were in a private room of the house.
“Give me a good explanation of how my precious daughter came into doing this?” Mr. Wattapol asked.
“Boss, Dao is secretly in love with Sila, she is insane over him,” Mr. Numwit replied.
“I know that, but why did my daughter do such crazy things over this, and how were those three girls involved?” Mr. Wattapol asked.
“Sila was going to get married to his fiancée Aleecha. Dao was ferocious about the situation. I don’t know why Bua and Alice were involved, but as I know and could tell, Alice is also one who is in love with Sila too,” Mr. Numwit replied.
Mr. Wattapol looked at him and said, “I won’t let this death of my daughter go to waste, that Sila will see for sure. If my daughter couldn’t get his love, so will the women he loves too.”
“Sir, what do you plan to do?” Mr. Numwit asked.
“I want you to quit your job and come join me; together we will win this fight. I am willing to do anything for my daughter, even if it means risking my own life,” Mr. Wattapol said.

(At Su-Nita’s house)

Su-Nita left the cab and walked out to her gate. There she saw Sek standing in the cold waiting for her.
“Su-Nita, I have something important I want to talk with you about,” Sek said.
“What is it P’Sek?” Su-Nita asked.
“I want you to stay away from Sila, he is a dangerous man,” Sek said.
“Sila is my friend, when he is in pain, I have to help him, I can’t just let him stay in suffering like this,” Su-Nita replied.
“Su-Nita, I’m just worried about you,” Sek said.
“I can take care of myself P’Sek, I am not a little girl anymore, and Sila and I are just great friends,” Su-Nita replied.
Sek looks her in the eyes and said, “Su-Nita, it’s been long and I still haven’t had an answer from you, I still want to know, do you have feelings at all for me?” Sek asked.
Su-Nita looks at him and said, “P’Sek, I don’t want to hurt the people who I loved, and I don’t want to hurt you for not telling the truth too.”
“So what is the truth?” Sek asked.
“P’Sek, you are a great brother to me, you took care of me when I was sad, you pulled me out of the darkness, you help me through good and bad, but it’s me who can’t take you into my heart because it has been occupied by someone else,” Su-Nita said.
“It’s okay Su-Nita, I’ve known since that day at the park, I’ve known who your heart belonged too, and it was never with me,” Sek replied.
“P’Sek, I’m sorry,” Su-Nita said.
“No, it’s me who have to apologize, I was the one who had you locked in and couldn’t do a thing, but now I found my answered,” Sek said.
“So do you hate me?” Su-Nita asked.
“How can I hate you? What is a brother without his sister?” Sek said.
Su-Nita smiled as she gave him a hugged. From a far view, Sila was in his car looking at them. A sadness quivers over his skin as he patiently looked at them.
“It’s late, you have to go home before your mother’s worries about you,” Sek said.
“Thanks P’Sek,” Su-Nita said.
“Ay, follow your heart because you are a Cinderella with a dream,” Sek said.
Su-Nita smiled at him as she walked in.
Sek got in his car as he drove off. Sila got out of his and walked over to the gate where he stopped. He gently pressed the door bell.
“Hmm, P’Sek hasn’t left yet?” she thought.
Su-Nita quickly ran out as she saw Sila standing behind the gate. She quickly opened the door as she pulled Sila in.
“Sila are you hurt, is there anything wrong with your bones?” Su-Nita asked checking his arms.
Sila looks at her as he gently hugged her and said, “Sunshine can I just hug you like this for a few minutes, I just want to be release from all the things that happened today.”
Su-Nita hugged him and said, “Jack Jack, don’t be scared, you still got me to fight along with you, remember Cinderella never leaves behind her friends, especially Jack Jack.”
Sila held her tightly as a drop of tear slightly fell down as he quickly wiped it and said smiley to her, “Every time I see you, the darkest part of this world seems to have light running through it.”
“Sila are you scared?” Su-Nita asked.
“No, never, I’m never scared. The things that happened today will eventually pass by without me knowing it, I’m not scared at all,” Sila said.
“You’re as strong as a stone aren’t you,” Su-Nita joked with him.
“Of course, I wouldn’t be called Sila, if I wasn’t right?” Sila stated.
Su-Nita giggled and smiled at him as he said to her, “Sunshine will you go with me to Dao’s funeral?”
Su-Nita starred into his eyes and asked, “Why do you want me to go?”
“Because I have on one else,” Sila replied.
“Sila, you don’t have to hide it, I know you’re scared and probably afraid of the things that happened today,” Su-Nita said.
“I’m not scared nor am I afraid, I just need someone there to support and stop me from doing crazy things,” Sila said.
“Okay Sila, don’t worry I’ll go and help you out,” Su-Nita said.
“Thanks Sunshine,” Sila said.
“It’s okay Jack Jack,” Su-Nita replied.
“Yes, my Cinderella, I know you could always help me out,” Sila said then smiled.

(The next day at the hospital)

Sila took a visit to Alice and Aleecha. Sila walks in Alice’s room first and found Vie by her side. Vie was still asleep while Alice was already up and watching television.
“Sila, you came,” Alice said smiling at him.
“Are you feeling better today?” Sila asked.
“Much better,” Alice replied then asked, “What about the incident? What did the police said?”
“No one is at fault because the evidence that happen at the scene was missing,” Sila replied.
“How?” Alice asked.
“I don’t know either, I didn’t even remember the last time I had the handkerchief,” Sila said.
“Sila, I’m sorry for what I did to cause you all of this,” Alice apologizes.
“It’s not your fault, don’t think too much about it,” Sila said.
Alice looks into his eyes as she thought, “Sila one day you’ll know that everyone is like this because they love you.”
“Since Vie is here with you, I have to go see how Aleecha is doing,” Sila said.
“Um Sila,” Alice said, “Please tell Aleecha I said thanks.”
“Why?” Sila asked.
“Because she saved me yesterday, without her, I think I’ll probably be dead by now,” Alice said.
“Okay, get well soon,” Sila said as he left.
Alice watches as he left out the door as tears dropped from her eyes, “I owe Aleecha my life, but in repay Sila, I will no longer fight for you until the day you are once again the Sila I first met.”

(In Aleecha’s room)

Sila opens the door as he walks in. Aleecha was still asleep as he sat down on the chair. Then a doctor walked in and wanted to talk to Sila. Sila and the doctor walked outside to have their talk.
“The patient is getting weaker and weaker each day, but still we haven’t found a heart for her yet,” the doctor said.
“Is there anything else you can do to help her stay a little longer,” Sila asked.
“She needs a heart transplant as soon as possible. After all the incident that happen to her, her heart has become more weaker, without a new one, I’m just afraid that she will only live till next week,” the doctor said.
“Money isn’t a problem as long as you can help her doctor, it’s all I wish for,” Sila said.
“We have received information, but the new heart won’t get here until next month,” the doctor said, “We’ll try our best to help her stay until that time.”
“Thanks doctor, I’ll make sure she stays happy for the time being,” Sila said.
“That will be a great thing to do for her,” the doctor said then left.
From the side, Aleecha was standing behind the wall; she knew she was going to die. Tears rumble down her cheeks as she walked back to her bed.
Sila walked in and found her awake watching the television.
“Sila, you’re here,” Aleecha said.
“How are you feeling today?” Sila asked.
“Better,” Aleecha replied with a bright smile.
“What are you watching?” Sila asked.
“Some funny cartoon,” Aleecha replied then asked, “Sila, I’m sorry about yesterday.”
“It’s okay, it wasn’t your fault, don’t worry about it, just take care of yourself, it’s the best thing,” Sila said.
“Are you going to Dao’s funeral?” Aleecha asked.
“Yes, to see her for one last time,” Sila replied.
“That is a good thing, give her some good blessing and give her some of mines too, I wish for her to become an angel in the sky with happiness not with hate drawn upon her heart. I want her to be an angel with always happiness,” Aleecha said.
“Aleecha, you know that you’re the nicest person in the world, even if others have hurt you, you still forgave them so easily,” Sila said.
“I’m not nice, I’m actually think of myself before others, but my mother always told me that hating is never a solution, Dao is a great person, but it was because of us who caused the hatred that grew upon her heart, so we are actually the bad ones, not her,” Aleecha said.
“Aleecha, don’t think too much about that, take a rest now, you really need a lot of it,” Sila said.
“I want to stay awake Sila and I want to leave this hospital,” Aleecha said.
“We can leave when you feel better,” Sila replied, then said, “I almost forgot, Alice said thank you for saving her life yesterday.”
“It’s nothing at all, saving life is a good thing to do,” Aleecha said.
“Rest okay, you really need it,” Sila said.
“Okay Sila, but will you stay by my side?” Aleecha asked.
“Of course I will, I won’t go anywhere,” Sila replied as he smiled to her.
Aleecha closed her eyes as she slightly fell asleep holding on tightly to Sila’s hand.

(The weekend of Dao’s Funeral)

It was night time as Sila and Su-Nita arrived at the funeral. They stood outside as Mrs. Wattapol walked out to them.
“What are you doing here for?” Mrs. Wattapol asked.
Sila looks at her without an answer.
“After killing my daughter you still have the guts to come here today?!” Mrs. Wattapol yelled at him.
Mr. Wattapol quickly walked over and pulled his wife away trying to calm her down.
Sila looks at them and said, “I’m sorry, I only came here today to ask for forgiveness from Dao and to bless her on.”
“My daughters don’t need any of your blessings, it will only make her suffer more,” Mrs. Wattapol said.
“Madame,” Sila said, “This is all I ask to do for Dao for one last time.”
“Take your words away, my daughter don’t want them,” Mr. Wattapol said.
Mr. Numwit came running out to Sila and told him, “Boss, you should go back, the Wattapol’s are still mad.”
Sila still wouldn’t say a word.
Su-Nita pulled his hand and walked up to Mr. and Mrs. Wattapol and said, “Sir and Madame, Sila saw that Dao is a friend and he only wants to come bless her off and he only ask for forgiveness from Dao.”
“Who are you to talk to me like that?” Mrs. Wattapol asked.
“I am no one special, but I at least could see in respect of others, Sila is only here to bless Dao off, he doesn’t ask for anything else but forgiveness from the person who loved him once, if you two can’t see Sila’s kindness and let him in then Dao will never leave happily,” Su-Nita said.
“Stupid little girl, don’t try to talk smart on me,” Mrs. Wattapol said trying to get release from her husband.
Mr. Wattapol starred at Su-Nita and Sila. He then recalls that Su-Nita was the Suntida’s daughter. His heart started to pound, as he slightly said, “Sila, you can go in, but all you can do is to bless my daughter off, after that I want you to leave.”
Sila looks at them as Su-Nita pulled him in. Sila got down as he came to Dao’s picture and coffin. He got on his knees and bow down to her, as he rose back up with his hands together honoring her.
Sila then said his blessing in his mind, “Dao, I’m sorry for the things I had done to hurt you. You were a friend, a friend I found too late when the time had run out. I was a bad person who never realized your love, but because my heart has been occupied by a creeping shadow that is why I couldn’t see anyone else. I know it’s too late now, but will you forgive me for what I did that had hurt you. If we ever meet again in some other world, I hope for us to become friend.”
Sila got up as he pulled Su-Nita along and greeted Mr. and Mrs. Wattapol on the way out then left.
“Who is that girl with him, she looks so familiar?” Mrs. Wattapol asked.
“She’s a host on TV, and also the daughter of Mr. Suntida,” Mr. Wattapol said.
“Honey, do you see what I see, seems like she and Sila are close,” Mrs. Wattapol said.
Mr. Wattapol looked as Sila and Su-Nita walked further away and thought, “Sila this won’t be the last time, you’ll see one day.”
As Sila and Su-Nita reaches his car, Mr. Numwit quickly ran over to them.
“Boss,” Mr. Numwit said as he handed Sila a letter, “here this is my letter of resign, from now on I don’t work for you any more.”
Sila turns around and said, “I don’t let anybody resign, I only fire.”
“Okay then, go ahead and fire me, from now on, I don’t work for you anymore,” Mr. Numwit said as he left back.
“Sila,” Su-Nita said, “calm down.”
Sila got in his car as he started the engine, Su-Nita quickly sat in as Sila drove off. He drove to the bridge again as he walked out. Su-Nita followed right behind him as he stopped and starred out into the water. He sniffed in the fresh air as the cold wind blew by.
“Sunshine, do you smell that air?” Sila asked.
Su-Nita looks at him and said, “It’s fresh.”
“As fresh as that night that Mina went away from me, and as cold as the feeling when Nat left me too,” Sila said.
“Sila didn’t you say that all of those will somehow pass by, just look pass it and one day, all you’ll remember will only be a memories,” Su-Nita said.
“I know, but right now, all those memories just came back,” Sila said.
Su-Nita quickly takes his hand and holds it to the night sky as she said to him, “If you can smell the air, you’ll have to feel it to know how it feels, if you can taste the scent, you’ll have to try it to know what it’s made off, if you can love that person, you’ll have to thrust your heart towards that person.”
Sila looks at her eyes as it glimmer and sprinkle like the night sky. He turns towards her as he moves closer to her. She stares deeply into his eyes too as he lend forward towards her closely enough to have touched her lips, but then his phone quickly ringed. Su-Nita pulled away as Sila answers his phone.
“Hello, this is Sila,” Sila said as he looks back at Su-Nita.
“Sila, Sila, you have to hurry to the hospital, Aleecha…Aleecha, she fainted again,” Mrs. Buaunawti said.
“I’ll come right now,” Sila replied then hung up and looks to Su-Nita and said, “we have to go to the hospital right now, Aleecha is unconscious again.”

Chapter 19: Because of Fate

(At the hospital)

Sila took Su-Nita with him to the hospital. As they reach Mr. and Mrs. Buaunawti, the doctor came out.
“Doctor, how is my daughter?” Mr. Buaunawti asked.
“She has only become weaker, I am afraid that she won’t make it pass this ending month,” the doctor said.
“Please help my daughter, she is all I have left in my life,” Mrs. Buaunawti said.
“We are trying our best, but if she can’t help herself too, we won’t be able to do much,” the doctor replied.
“How much time do we have left?” Mr. Buaunawti asked.
“Not too long, if we don’t get the heart by this ending month, it will be harder for the surgery,” the doctor said.
“But you are the doctor, you should know what to do, your job is to save people’s lives, but why can’t you cure her?” Sila said to the doctor.
“We tried all we can, but she is not helping herself too, she needs to eat more and rest a lot,” the doctor said.
The doctor then left as Sila, Mr. and Mrs. Buaunawti walked in to see Aleecha, while Su-Nita stood outside the door. Aleecha was put back on with oxygen and ivy as they all sat down in her room. Sila sat right beside her as he held on tightly to her hand. Su-Nita watches him; she could feel his pain, and also Aleecha’s too. After a few minutes, Aleecha awakens.
“Sila…Sila,” she quietly called.
“I’m here, I’m here,” Sila said as he held her hand to his cheek.
Su-Nita watches them as her eyes tumble with tears. Mr. Buaunawti was holding on to his wife as tears ran down both their eyes.
“Sila, I’m scared, I’m scared, I dreamt that I went somewhere dark and I couldn’t see you anymore,” Aleecha said.
“Don’t worry, I’m here with you, I’ll always be here,” Sila said.
“Sila I know that this sickness will never leave me, I’m just afraid to leave you,” Aleecha said.
“Aleecha don’t say such words, you’ll be fine, you will, remember we still have our wedding, you’ll get well, we are going to get married,” Sila said.
Aleecha’s tears ran down as she smiled and said, “Sila, it will better if we don’t have the wedding, as long as I can be with you until my breath ends then it is good enough to have fulfilled my life,” Aleecha said.
“No, you have to get well or I’ll never forgive myself for causing all these problems to you,” Sila said.
Aleecha raised her other hand and held them both to his hands.
“Sila, I love you, I’m only afraid that I’ll leave you one day,” Aleecha said.
“We’ll have our wedding as soon a possible, you’ll get well because you are my beautiful bride,” Sila said as tears rumble down.
“Sila don’t cry in front of me, I don’t want to see anybody cry for me,” Aleecha said.
Sila quickly wiped his tears and smiled at her and said, “Aleecha, get well we are going to wed as soon as possible.”
“Will you regret it?” Aleecha asked.
“No, I’ll only regret if I don’t wed with you,” Sila said.
Aleecha smiled as tears ran down even more. Sila quickly wiped Aleecha’s tears.
Su-Nita wiped her own tears and quietly walked away without any of them knowing she was gone. Then she left out the door and ran to the elevator where she cried and thought to herself. “A glass stained with pain holds my dream, a glass stained with blood holds my love, but now I have lost both my dream and love. Sila, I wish you the best and I hope Aleecha can stay with you and endure in the happiness in both your hearts.”

(The next day at Chaisuwan’s Advertise Co. Ltd.)

“Hey have you heard, boss is getting married next week,” a worker said.
“Yeah, I’ve heard he’s been busy because his fiancée is sick,” one replied.
“Why does boss wants to married right after Dao’s death, this is not a good time,” one said.
Nee walked over to the talking group and asked, “What are you talking about?”
“Umm, Nee, have you read the paper yet, it says that boss and Aleecha are to wed this coming week,” the worker said.
“This is not a place to talk about boss’s personal life, get back to work,” Nee said.
“Okay Nee,” the workers replied as they rushed back to work.
Nee walks up into Sila’s office as she saw a bouquet of flowers on her desk. She grew with fear as she walks closed to it. She picked it up as she peered to the note as someone behind her called her.
“Nee,” said the voice.
Nee turns around to find Sila, as she asked, “Boss is this from you?”
“It’s a small gift, I’m not sure if you like those flowers or not, but I just wanted to thank you for all your work and the things you have done for me,” Sila said.
Nee’s eyes began to water as she said, “boss are you going to wed Aleecha?”
“Yes, I have set it and planned it out already,” Sila replied.
Nee smiled at him as she said, “Sila, I wish you the best of luck, hope you and Aleecha will live together happily.”
“Thanks Nee,” Sila said, “thanks for all your help.”
Then Sila walked inside his room and sat down on his chair as outside his room Nee place the bouquet down and cried.

(At the Chaisuwan’s house)

In the kitchen, Mrs. Chaisuwan and Bua had a conversation.
“Mom, P’Sila is going to wed Aleecha this coming week?” Bua asked.
“Sweetie, why are you so shocked?” Mrs. Chaisuwan questioned her.
“Nothing mom, I just didn’t think it was going to be this fast,” Bua repied.
“Sila was the one that rushed this wedding, Aleecha sickness had worsen and Sila wants to help her by marrying her, Sila wants to do a favor in return for her kindness,” Mrs. Chaisuwan replied.
“Mom, but how would Aleecha feels if she knew P’Sila doesn’t love her?” Bua asked.
“Sweetie, why are you asking so many questions, Sila has decided to marry Aleecha, he wouldn’t if he didn’t at least have any feelings towards her,” Mrs. Chaisuwan said.
Bua left the kitchen and up to her room. She thought of what to do, but nothing came up, her mind was a total blank. Then she thought about calling someone, but who should she call. She thought for a while and the only name that pops out was Win.

(At Peung’s Flower Shop)

“Peung someone came to see you,” a worker said.
“Who is it?” Peung asked.
“I don’t know,” the worker replied.
“Okay, I’ll come,” Peung said as she left what she was doing and walked out.
Peung came out of the room and saw Sila.
“Sila, what are you doing her today?” Peung asked.
“Here,” Sila said handing her a pink envelope.
“What is this?” Peung asked.
“An invitation to my wedding this coming week,” Sila replied.
Peung’s eyes grew wider as she looks at Sila.
“Hey, why do you act as if you seen a ghost, this is just and invitation to my wedding,” Sila said again.
Peung quickly blanked many times and replied, “You’re getting married already?”
“Of course, there’s no time to wait any longer,” Sila said.
“So you have decided?” Peung asked.
“It’s a long story, but yes,” Sila replied, “Oh, almost forgot, I want you to make the best bouquet for my wedding that day.”
Peung starred at him and slowly replied, “Okay, well that be all.”
“Yes, that’s all,” Sila said, “oh, I’ll have to go now, there’s other place and stuff I have to go get. Bye Peung.”
Sila waved to her as he left. Peung quickly dropped down in tears as Sila’s car drove off. She thought, “Ever since childhood, how could you have not seen me?” Then she went on crying again.

(At the park)

“Where is that Win?” Bua said.
“Hey, were you looking for me?” Win said from the side.
Bua turned around as she saw Win. She quickly went over as she pulled him to the side and asked him, “Win, what should I do, my brother is getting married soon?”
“Is that all you asked me to come for?” Win asked her.
“No, I want your help,” Bua replied.
“Okay, for what?” Win asked.
“P’Sila is wedding a woman he doesn’t love and I don’t want his life to be ruined forever,” Bua said.
“How do you know Sila doesn’t love her?” Win asked.
“You don’t understand, Sila only agreed because he was forced to marry her because she had a sickness,” Bua said.
“Why are you so worried about that?” Win asked.
“I don’t want my brother to live a life of torturing because he couldn’t be with the person he loves,” Bua replied.
“Then try to talk your brother out of it,” Win said.
“No one can change P’Sila’s mind if he agrees on it,” Bua said.
“Then I don’t know how to help you anymore,” Win replied.
“Gosh, I thought you could help, but you are no different from Pakorn,” Bua said.
“Hey, don’t go comparing me to Pakorn,” Win said to her.
“Well because you and Pakorn always say the same thing which irritates me,” Bua said.
“Hey, if your brother really loves her, he’ll marry her, but if he doesn’t, he’ll somehow try to escape it,” Win said.
“What do you mean?” Bua asked.
“If you can’t talk Sila out of it, then why don’t you just tell her that Sila doesn’t love her, or just let them be them,” Win said.
Bua looked at him with the glared as she thought, “Talk Aleecha out of it, hmm this may work.”

(A week passed)

Aleecha had survived that week, she has become stronger and has the strength to move more now, but still she was in the hospital. That day, Sila came and took her to the bridal shop to get her gown as he also finish sending the invitation cards.

(At the shop)

“Aleecha are you done?” Sila asked.
“Almost,” she replied.
“How about now?” Sila asked.
“Okay, I’m done,” Aleecha replied as the workers who were helping her pulled the curtains to the side.
Sila starred at her without a blank. She was dressed in a gown with beautiful white swirls of flowers going around.
Sila walks up and commented, “Aleecha, you are very beautiful.”
She smiled as Sila pulled her over and took a picture of them with his phone then went over to the corner for their photo shot.
After the photo shot Sila said to her, “Aleecha let’s go drop off this last invitation before we head back to the hospital.”
“Who is that one for?” Aleecha asked.
“It’s for a friend,” Sila replied.
“Oh, okay, let’s go then,” Aleecha said.
Sila and Aleecha then left to Su-Nita’s house.
Su-Nita barely got back from work as her doorbell ringed. She quickly walked out and found Sila by the gate. She walks out and opens the gate as Sila walked in.
“Here,” Sila said as he hand her the invitation.
“Thanks,” Su-Nita said, “you could have just mailed it.”
“The time was rushing too fast, so I just decided to drop it off to everyone,” Sila replied.
“How’s Aleecha doing?” Su-Nita asked.
“She’s doing better now, she in the car asleep,” Sila said.
“Why don’t you invite her in,” Su-Nita asked.
“She’s tired after this long day so I didn’t wake her,” Sila said.
“Oh, if so then you should hurry back,” Su-Nita said as she turned around.
“Actually, I never really understand why I agreed to married Aleecha, I keep having these feelings that it’s because of something that is why I agreed to,” Sila said, as Su-Nita stopped.
While in Sila’s car, Aleecha was awake, she thought, “Sila has been gone for a long time, I should go check what he is doing.”
Aleecha walks out of the car and to the fence as she peered into it, and saw Sila holding Su-Nita’s hand. She listened to their conversation.
Su-Nita said, “Sila, today you decided to marry Aleecha, you’ll have to love her until your very last breath is breathe.”
“Su-Nita, can you tell me why seeing someone else smile can bright up a life?” Sila asked.
“A smile can cheer up a sad person and your love for Aleecha will live on if you believe in it, to save someone life with your love is the best thing to do,” Su-Nita replied.
“Su-Nita, you are a great friend, I’ll probably die if I don’t have you in my life someday,” Sila said to her.
“Stop joking, Aleecha is all you have right now, so hurry back to the car, she’s waiting for you,” Su-Nita said.
Aleecha starred from outside as she quietly left back to the car. She sat in the car and thought about Sila and Su-Nita’s friendship.
Sila said, “Sunshine, from today on we will never have times like these again, but I wish that whoever your prince charming is, I just want him to love my Cinderella, and keep her happy for the rest of her life, so this Sunshine of mine will never fade away.”
“Thanks Sila, I wish you the best too, my Jack Jack who stood there to cheer me on will become a handsome groom tomorrow, so go now, your beautiful princess awaits you,” Su-Nita said smiling at him.
“I’ll see you tomorrow Su-Nita,” Sila said as he left out the gate and took on last glance at her as he walked away.
Su-Nita’s tears rumble down as she thought of Sila’s words, “Sunshine, from today on we will never have times like these again, but I wish that whoever your prince charming is, I just want him to love my Cinderella, and keep her happy for the rest of her life, so this Sunshine of mine will never fade away.” Then she said to herself, “Su-Nita, snap out of this craziness, Sila is only your friend, Sila is only your buddy, and Sila is only someone who happened to come in your life.” But tears kept rumbling down as she sat on the porch of her house and said to her again, “Sila and I are great friends and it will always remain that way.”
Sila got back to his car as he saw that Aleecha was still asleep, he then drove off to the hospital.

(At the hospital)

Sila laid her back on the bed as he covered her with the blanket.
“Sila,” Aleecha said, “I’m nervous, because tomorrow is already our wedding.”
“Don’t worry, everything will be fine,” Sila said.
“Sila, are you staying tonight?” Aleecha asked.
“I have some work to take care off, but auntie will be coming in a while to watch you,” Sila said.
“Oh, if you have worked to do then, you can go, I’ll be fine,” Aleecha replied.
“If you want me too, I can stay with you,” Sila asked.
“No, you must busy these days, I can stay by myself, don’t worry,” Aleecha said.
Sila walks over and held on to her hand as he said, “It’s almost tomorrow, and from tomorrow on, I will be yours and you’ll be mine.”
Aleecha smiled as Sila bend down and kissed her forehead then left.
Sila walks out of the room as he bumped into Alice.
“Alice, what are you doing here?” Sila asked.
“I’m leaving the hospital today, but I decided to come see Aleecha before I leave,” Alice replied.
“I’ll see you then,” Sila said as he walked away.
“Sila,” Alice called as he turned around, “I’m happy for you and Aleecha.”
“Thanks,” Sila said as he walked away.
Alice enters the room to Aleecha.
“Alice, you’re here, I thought you went home already,” Aleecha said.
“I’m gonna go in a little while,” Alice replied then asked, “How are you doing now?”
“Fine as always,” Aleecha replied.
“Sorry, it’s been a week, but I never came to thank you for saving my life,” Alice said.
“It’s okay, I knew you probably didn’t have the strength either and Sila already told me too,” Aleecha replied.
“Oh, so are you excited about the big day tomorrow?” Alice asked.
Aleecha looks at her and asked her, “Are you angry at me because I took Sila away from you?” Aleecha asked.
“No, Sila was never mine to start with, he had always been yours,” Alice said as her eyes water.
“Alice, I’m sorry,” Aleecha said.
“Aleecha, it’s me who has to apologize for the rude things I had done,” Alice said.
“But you’ve never done anything to me,” Aleecha replied.
Alice smiled and said, “I’ve always wanted Sila like everyone else, but he was yours from the start and he has chosen you, so I only came to wish you two the best.”
“Thanks Alice,” Aleecha said.
“Hey, if one day you don’t love Sila anymore, I’ll take him back,” Alice joked.
Aleecha giggled and said, “Okay, but don’t set your hopes to high, because I’ll never let go of Sila.”
The two giggled as Aleecha said, “Alice, I’m glad to have a friend like you.”
“Yes me too,” Alice said.
“Sila is such a lucky person to have such kind people around him, you are one, Su-Nita is also another, along with Pakorn,” Aleecha said.
“Sila knows Su-Nita too?” Alice asked.
“Su-Nita is a like an angel, without her I think Sila wouldn’t have the smile he has today, she helped me and Sila, she is a great friend of us,” Aleecha said.
“Hmm, I think I’ll go now, it’s late too and probably Vie is waiting for me down there,” Alice said.
“Vie came too?” Aleecha asked.
“Yes, he has been here the whole week with me,” Alice replied.
“Oh, I’ll see you guys tomorrow then,” Aleecha said.
Alice then left her room and walked to the elevator and left down to the parking lot.
She walked up to Vie’s car in the parking lot as Vie came to help her with her bags.
“Hey, how come you look so sad?” Vie asked.
“Nothing, let’s go, I want to eat some good food,” Alice said.
“Okay let’s go,” Vie said.

(That night at the airport)

People waited outside for their ride as a beautiful tall American looking girl walked up. She pulled off her sunglasses as she said, “It’s been long since I left Thailand and now I’m back.”
Then she took out a picture of Sila and said, “Aren’t you glad that we’ll be meeting again soon, and this time I won’t let you go away so easily.”
“Nat,” a person called from behind her.
“Mom,” Nat said as she quickly ran over to her mother.
“Honey why did you decide to come back so fast, did you tell your dad?” her mother asked.
“Of course mom,” Nat replied.
“Let’s go home,” her mom said as the two left.

(At the Chaisuwan’s house)

“P’Sila,” Bua said as she saw Sila coming out of his room, “where are you going?”
“Back to the hospital,” Sila replied.
“P’Sila, its tomorrow already, but I really want to talk with you,” Bua said.
“What is it Bua?” Sila asked.
“Even though you don’t love Aleecha, why do you still choose to marry her?” Bua asked.
Sila looks at her and replied, “It’s better to keep a life living then regret it later.”
“P’Sila, I don’t get what you mean,” Bua said.
“One day you’ll understand,” Sila said as he walked down.
“P’Sila,” Bua said as Sila walks away.
Bua quickly enters her room again as she cried on her pillow, and thought, “P’Sila, why don’t you understand my feelings? You know you’re the only one in my heart.”

(The next day)

Sila had his wedding at Golf’s hotel in the grand ball room. Many guests came and sat down as Sila went up to his bride’s room. Aleecha was dressed and ready as Sila opens the door and walked in.
“Sila,” Aleecha said as she turned around to him.
“You’re very beautiful today my bride,” Sila commented.
“Thanks,” Aleecha said.
“The guests are here and some of our friends had showed up, but still the bouquet hasn’t shown up yet,” Sila said.
“It’s okay Sila, it won’t start until noon,” Aleecha said.
“I have to go back and greet the guest, I’ll come get you in a little while,” Sila said.
Aleecha smiled as Sila walked out, then looked into the mirror and smiled confidently at herself. Then the cell phone on the counter started ringing as she got up to answer it. Aleecha took the cell phone as the door quickly opened and banged on the other side. Frighten by the noise she dropped the phone. She slightly peeked at the door as someone quickly barged in.
“So, you are the lucky bride to my Sila?” Nat said.
Aleecha starred at her as she backed a little.

While outside Peung had arrived with the bouquet.
“Sila,” Peung said as she saw him by the door.
Sila turns towards her as he said, “Finally you’re here, and I was worried that something must have happened to you.”
Peung smiled and replied, “Sila, I have something to tell you, can we go talk somewhere privately.”
Sila looks at her weirdly.
They walked over to a corner as Peung handed him the bouquet.
“Thanks Peung, I really appreciate your help,” Sila commented.
“You’re welcome,” Peung replied.
“So what is it that you wanted to tell me?” Sila asked.
Peung looks at him as he stares back at her, “Umm…I.”
“What is it?” Sila asked.
“Sila…I really really like you,” Peung said.
“I know Peung, we are great friends,” Sila replied with a giggle.
“No Sila, I really really like you, but not as a friend or a childhood play mate, I do like you a lot,” Peung stated.
Sila looks at her and turned away, then turned back to her and replied, “Peung, I’m sorry, today I have decided to marry Aleecha and nothing can change my mind now.”
“Sila…I know, I know it’s too late, but I just wanted you to know how I felt for you all these years. I didn’t come here today to take you with me, I just wanted to tell you so I would never regret it in my life and to keep holding on to this pain,” Peung said as tears dropped.
“Peung,” Sila said as he grabbed her hand, “you are a kind person with a heart of pure love, and you’ll find the person you love someday.”
Peung sniffed as she said, “Thanks Sila, but that will be hard to do. I still remembered that day when you promised me that if we meet again when you grow up, you’ll be my groom and we can always go and play in the fields of flowers, but that was probably only a childhood dream that never seem to disappear. (Peung smiled) Sila, I wish you and Aleecha the best wishes in this world.” Then she ran away.
Sila looks at her as she ran off then he starred down at the bouquet.

Back in the dressing room Nat pushed Aleecha and pressed her to the mirror as she said, “Anyone who dears to take Sila away from me will see? I won’t let you wed with him today nor tomorrow or even forever!”
“Who are you?” Aleecha asked as Nat through her on the ground.
“I am Sila’s girlfriend, we were so in love in America, but because of you he left me,” Nat replied pointing fingers at Aleecha.
Aleecha heart beat increased as she started to run out of breath again. Nat grabbed the back of her hair and pulled back and said, “If you don’t ruin this wedding right now, I’ll ruin you and Sila forever!” Nat pushed her head away as she grabbed her purse and walked out.
Aleecha held onto the chair as she breathes deeply with tears running down her cheeks.

(In the parking lot)

Peung walked out to the parking lot and met Pakorn.
“Peung,” Pakorn said as he noticed her drops of tears.
Peung ran straight pass him as Pakorn followed behind.
“Peung…Peung…!” Pakorn called as he caught up to her.
Peung starred at him as she wiped her tears and said, “I want to be alone right now.”
“Why are you crying? Is there something wrong?” Pakorn asked.
Peung tears dropped again as she turned to the side.
Pakorn took out a tissue and gave it to her.
Peung took the tissue and wiped her tears as she said, “Thanks.”
“Are you crying because Sila is wedding Aleecha today?” Pakorn asked as Peung turns and looks at him.
“Umm,” Peung couldn’t say anything.
“Don’t be scared, I know that there are a lot of girls who like Sila, you’re not the only one,” Pakorn said, “and you’re the not first one I see that cried because of him too.”
“Pakorn,” Peung said, “Can I borrow you’re shoulder for a while?”
Pakorn looks at her and smiled as he patted his shoulder and Peung lends on it.

(Back in the dressing room)

Aleecha was able to cool her heart beat down a little more. As she heard footsteps near by, she quickly fixed her hair and wiped away the tears on her face as looked to the door to find Bua instead of the person who she thought it was.
“Bua,” Aleecha said.
Bua walked in as she locked the door behind her.
Aleecha slightly got up as her face grew with fear.

(Back in the parking lot)

“So you and Sila are closed friends huh?” Pakorn asked.
“Yes, but from today on, we’ll probably not see each other anymore,” Peung said.
“Then you should go and stay for the wedding. It’ll help release half your stress and it’ll make you happier, just come,” Pakorn said as he pulled her along with him.

(In the grand ball room)

“Sila,” a familiar voice called him from behind.
Sila turned around to find Nat.
“What are you doing here?” Sila asked.
“I miss you so much after you left so I decided to come find you,” Nat replied.
“It’s too late now. Sorry, I have to go,” Sila said as he walked away from her.
“Sila,” she called as she followed him.
Sila bumped into Nee, Vie and Alice.
“Where are you going?” Vie asked.
Sila didn’t reply as Nat came and pulled his armed as she saw the other three.
“Who is she?” Alice asked.
“I’m Sila’s…,” Nat got interrupted.
“An old friend of mines,” Sila said, then looked to Nee, Vie and Alice and said, “Go in and have a seat.”
“Okay,” Nee said as Sila guide them in leaving Nat alone by herself.

(Back in the dressing room)

“I love Sila, I know you know already that I have feelings for P’Sila that day on the roof,” Bua said.
“Bua, what did I do wrong to you?” Aleecha asked.
“Nothing, but loving P’Sila and marrying him is wrong, I deserve to be in that wedding dress, I deserve to be the only one in P’Sila’s heart!” Bua shouted as she walked nearer to Aleecha.
Aleecha’s tears dropped as she replied, “I don’t care about Sila’s past as long as from now on he is with me then I’m satisfied.”
“P’Sila doesn’t even love you. He only agreed to marry you because he got no choice and he doesn’t want anyone else to die because of him. If you were like every regular women, P’Sila would never choose you,” Bua said.
Aleecha’s heart beat increased rapidly. It was harder for her to breathe again.
“I give you two choices. One you cancel the wedding right now or I’ll push you off this building like I did to Dao,” Bua stated.
“Bua…how, how could you do this?” Aleecha asked.
“I can do anything as long as in the end P’Sila will be mine and only mine,” Bua said.
“Bua, even if I die without Sila’s love at all, but at least I die knowing he still care for me, but someone like you, if you die today no one will care a bit for you,” Aleecha muttered.
Bua pushed her to the mirror as she fell down, Bua shouted, “Sila loves me, he protected me and he’ll only be mine.”
Aleecha breathe deeply as she said, “A heartless person like you will die with no love from anyone, not even Sila.”
Bua grabbed her and said, “If you don’t cancel the wedding right now, you will see it.”
Aleecha tears rumbled down, but still she replied, “In all my life I have never seen an orphan like you who thinks so much of herself and forgot that a brother like Sila don’t even have feelings towards you at all.”
“What are you trying to say? What are you trying to say?!” Bua yelled.
“It is never too late to turn back,” Aleecha said to her.
“I don’t care anymore; whoever knows that I love P’Sila cannot live in the same world as me. Dao is gone there is only you and Alice left to expose this out,” Bua said.
“Bua, you’ll never win Sila’s heart that way. Even if I’m dead you will never win Sila’s heart,” Aleecha said as she breathes deeply.
“I hate you,” Bua said as she walks further away, “I don’t understand why P’Sila agreed to marry you. Of all the girls in his life, why would he choose you?”
Aleecha suddenly collapse and clutched her chest as she lay on the ground breathless.
Bua turned around as she noticed Aleecha lying there out of breath, “Hey, don’t try to fake at a time like this.”
Aleecha didn’t reply back, Bua walked closed to her as she saw that Aleecha had fainted already. Scared and afraid, she quickly ran out.

(In the Grand Ball Room)

“Sila, it’s almost time, go bring Aleecha down here,” Mr. Chaisuwan said.
“Okay father,” Sila replied as he left.
Sila walked over to the elevator as Bua bumped into him.
“Bua, why are you in such a hurry?” Sila asked.
“P’Sila, did you see P’Pakorn?” Bua asked lying to Sila.
“No, I haven’t, you should go and see if you could find him,” Sila said as he enter the elevator.
“Where are you going?” Bua asked.
“I’m going to get Aleecha,” Sila said as the elevator closed.
“P’Sila…P’Sila,” Bua called as she pressed for the elevator to open again. Someone grabbed her hand as she turns to that person.
“What are you in a hurry for?” asked Win.
Bua starred at him with anger as he smiled at her.
The wedding bell ringed as the clock strike twelve noon. Sila came upon the door as he opened it to find Aleecha on the ground.
“Aleecha…Aleecha,” Sila shouted as he ran to her and pulled her towards him.
Sila saw that she was unconscious and her heart was not beating. He quickly carried her out.

Down in the entrance Fah and Golf made their way through the door.
“Are we late?” Fah stated.
“No, let’s just go in,” Golf said.
They walked over to the grand room as they met Pakorn and Peung.
“Pakorn, Peung?” Golf said as he looks at Pakorn holding on to Peung’s hand.
Pakorn quickly let go as he asked, “Umm, did they start yet?”
“I don’t know, we barely arrived,” Fah said.
“Everything seems to be going well,” Golf added, “but where are the groom and bride.”
“I don’t know,” Pakorn replied as he look around and saw Sila carrying Aleecha out from the elevator.
Pakorn quickly ran over to Sila and asked, “What happened to Aleecha?”
“Pakorn can you go get your car, we need to take Aleecha to the hospital right now,” Sila stated.
“Okay,” Pakorn said as he ran out with Sila carrying Aleecha behind.
Fah was going to follow as Golf pulled her arm and said, “Let’s go inform their parents.”
“Okay,” Fah replied.
Peung quickly followed them as she ran pass the corner of the bathroom and saw Bua with someone strange.

She sneaked up and listens as she saw Bua holding that person’s hand begging him something.
“Win promise me you won’t tell anyone,” Bua asked.
“Should I?” Win questioned her.
“If you are my friend you should help me and keep this as a secret,” Bua said.
“Ok, I will then,” Win replied, “but under one choice.”
He swings his cheek at her and pointed at it and said, “Just a slight kiss on the cheek will do.”
Bua glared at him and bend and touched his cheek with her nose and said, “You better remember,” then walked away.
Peung quickly ran and hide behind the corner as Bua walked pass. Then Peung came out and thought, “What secret? And why is Bua with him when she’s also with Pakorn?”

(In the parking lot)

“Su-Nita, are you sure about this?” Sek asked.
“What do you mean P’Sek?” Su-Nita asked.
“It seems like you are not that happy today,” Sek replied.
Su-Nita smiled and said, “How can I not be happy, today is Sila’s wedding day. He is a great friend; I’m just overwhelmed with happiness right now.”
Su-Nita walked ahead of Sek as Sek shook his head a little and quickly catches up to her.
As they walked a little more a car came running by as Sek pulled her to the side, she starred as she saw Sila. Sila starred at her too as the car rushed by.
“Where are they going?” Su-Nita asked.
“I don’t know,” Sek replied.
“Nita,” Fah said as Su-Nita turned and saw Golf and her running towards them.
“Fah, what happened?” Su-Nita asked.
“Aleecha fainted so Sila and Pakorn are rushing her to the hospital,” Fah quickly replied.

(At the hospital)

Mr. and Mrs. Chaisuwan, along with Mr. and Mrs. Buaunawti arrived at the hospital. Sila walked around as the doctor came out and shook his head at them and said, “The patient doesn’t have much time left, you can go in and spend your last moments with her.”
Mrs. Buaunawti clutched down and cried as her husband pulled her to him and hugged her tightly. Sila opens the door and walked in as he sat down beside Aleecha as tears ran down his cheeks. Mr. and Mrs. Buaunawti enter the room along with everyone else. After a few hours, everyone else arrived at the hospital.
Aleecha awaken a little bit.
“Aleecha,” Sila said as he holds her hand to his face.
“Sila,” whispered Aleecha, “I’m very sorry about today.”
“It’s not your fault, don’t worry. We can have another wedding again when you gain more strength,” Sila said smiling at her.
Aleecha smiled a little bit and replied quietly, “Sila, I’m sorry that I can’t be a good wife to you. Is it because of fate that only brought me to love you once, but it has already satisfied my heart enough.”
“Aleecha, don’t say things like that,” Sila said to her as tears fell from his eyes.
Aleecha smiled as a slight tear dropped as she said, “Sila, I am glad you decided to help me by marrying me. I know that it was probably a force against your heart, but still you were willing to do it for me. It had showed me that you do care for me too.”
Tears dropped from Sila’s eyes again as he said, “Aleecha, don’t talk nonsense to me.”
“Sila, listen to me and listen carefully,” Aleecha said, “I love you, but yet still there is someone out there who loves you more than me. That someone was able to give you to me and suffer once again behind that glass, but the truth is she is that glass that you broke through, one day you'll understand that the shadow that creeps in your heart is that person."
“Aleecha, I don’t understand,” Sila uttered.
Aleecha smiled and said, “I’m tired, I’m very tired, I think I’ll rest now.”
“Aleecha, don’t fall asleep yet, stay with me,” Sila begged her.
“Don’t worry Sila, I will, I will,” Aleecha said as she closed her eyes.
Sila shook her hand as he said, “Aleecha, Aleecha, stay with me, you can’t leave me like this.”
Aleecha slightly opens her eyes and said, “Don’t worry Sila, I’ll be find. I’m not afraid anymore of the darkness, I have Dao to be my friend, and you don’t have to worry.”
“We still have our wedding to finish, you have to stay with me,” Sila said in tears.
Aleecha smiled and said, “I love you Sila, and I love everyone else in here too. Don’t worry about me; I’ll be fine, because I know that wherever I go you’ll always be there in my heart. I’m not scared, I’m not worried. I don’t want to see any of you cry for me.”
“Aleecha, you have to live on with me, for our love,” Sila said.
A slight tear dropped from Aleecha’s eye as she said, “Sila, I love you. Please don’t hurt that glass that loves you anymore. You have to look in front of you, she is right there, you have to.”
“Aleecha, I don’t care anymore about that, I just want you to be with me, that is all I want right now,” Sila said.
“Sila, I’m very tired, very tired. I still have a long way to walk from here, I need my rest, don’t worry, wherever I am in the world, remember I still love you,” Aleecha said as she closed her eyes and tears fell down.
“Aleecha, Aleecha,” Sila shouted as the machine besides him started beeping.
Pakorn pressed the button for the doctors as everyone eyes were filled with tears.
“Aleecha…Aleecha,” Sila shouted, and uttered slowly and quite as he hugged her, “I love you.”

Chapter 20: I Don’t Retrace my Old Path

The weekend of Aleecha’s funeral came and Sila was depress and stressed out. All his friends and relatives came, but all they could do was giving him a pat on the shoulder and comfort him. Nat came, but she didn’t dare go near Sila at all. Bua tried but Sila didn’t want to talk with anyone. It was a sad moment, but in Bua and Nat’s heart they were smiling the whole time. Su-Nita and everyone else visited at times and stayed with Sila, but still even to them Sila refused to talk. The burning session went by and everyone left home and went back to work. Sila took a week off from work and visited Aleecha at the temple everyday for that week.

(At the temple on a Saturday)

Sila stood in front of the grave picture of Aleecha. He places a flower beside it and said, “Aleecha, how are you doing now? It’s been a week, but still I wanted to visit you here everyday. I miss you so much everyday without you seems as this world has turned upside down.”
Sila touched her picture as someone called from behind him, “Sila.”
Sila turned around and saw Su-Nita.

(On a bench by a tree at the temple)

“What are you doing here?” Sila asked.
“I came to see my father and saw you so I decided to come over,” Su-Nita replied.
Sila lend on the bench and looked up into the sky and said, “I don’t want to live anymore. This world seemed so lifeless right now.”
“Sila, remember that these moments will eventually pass by and one day when you think about it, all that remains are just memories,” Su-Nita said.
Sila got up and looks at her, and shook his head and replied, “Everything will eventually pass by, but still those memories will always be there forever.”
“Sila lets go somewhere,” Su-Nita said as she pulled Sila hand.

(At the bridge)

Su-Nita pulled him up the bridge and said, “Remember every time you and I have stress we always release it out into the water so it can sink in and we’ll forget about it and move on.”
“Su-Nita, I want to die, I have nothing left to live for,” Sila replied.
“Sila, snap out of it. You have to understand that you still have your family and your friends you still care for you,” Su-Nita shouted at him.
Sila punched his hand against the bridge and shouted, “Sila, you’re a bad person, you’re evil, you have no heart, you like hurting others, how stupid can you be?!”
Su-Nita placed her hand as Sila punched her hand instead of the bridge. Then she shouted at him, “Sila are you crazy? You’re not the same Sila I know anymore. The Sila I know will stand strong and look pass the moments in his life. If you really want to die then jump into the water, I won’t stop you, hurry go if you really want to die.”
Sila broke from Su-Nita and lend towards the bridge as he shouted loudly into the water, “I hate myself for being so selfish and making all the people around me die!”
Su-Nita pulled Sila as Sila noticed the tears falling from her cheeks as she said, “Sila if you want to die, I’ll jump with you so we both can die. It won’t hurt a bit, if we both die. Dying won’t hurt as much as I live and suffer like the glass stained with pain.”
Sila stares deep into her eyes as she said, “If you really want to die, then let’s die together. It will be better than suffering right?”
Sila quickly pulled her and hugged her tightly as tears rumble down her cheeks.
“Su-Nita…Su-Nita, I’m sorry. I’m really sorry,” Sila said.
Su-Nita hugged him back as her tears dropped on his shirt.
“Su-Nita, I don’t want to die if it means dragging my Sunshine into a dark world, I would never do that to you,” Sila said.
Su-Nita quickly pulled away from him as she said, “Sila, you have to understand that life is the most important thing to every human and love is their strength to want to live on.”
Sila wiped her tears and said, “I know and only my Sunshine can make a dead heart like mine to beat again.”
Su-Nita gently slapped his arm as she wiped the rest of her tears and giggled. Sila smiled at her as the two walked down from the bridge.
“Where are you planning to do now?” Sila asked.
“Home of course,” Su-Nita replied.
“Can I take you home then?” Sila asked.
Su-Nita shook her head as the two walked along the sidewalk and met a pregnant lady on the bus stop. The pregnant lady clutched down and grabbed the side of her stomach as Su-Nita quickly ran towards her.
“Are you okay?” Su-Nita asked as she saw that it was Mina.
“Su-Nita,” Mina said as she held on tightly to Su-Nita’s hand.
“Sila,” Su-Nita called, “Come help me take Mina to the hospital.”
“Mina,” Sila whispered.

(At the hospital)

Mina gave birth to a baby girl as the doctor came out and said, “I am happy with you, you’re wife had just given birth to a baby girl.”
“I’m not her husband, I’m just a friend,” Sila replied.
“Oh, sorry then. You can go see her after she is taken into a room,” the doctor said and left.
“A baby girl,” Su-Nita said.
“Hey, why are you so happy?” Sila asked.
“I’m just happy for Mina, that’s all,” Su-Nita said.
Sila gave a deep breath as Su-Nita pulled him and said, “Let’s go see the baby.”

Sila and Su-Nita walked over as they peered through the window and saw the baby.
“She’s so cute,” Su-Nita said.
Sila stared at the baby as the baby yawned and stretched a little.
“Hi baby, I’m your Auntie Su-Nita and that’s your Uncle Sila,” Su-Nita said.
“Hey, we aren’t related to the mother at all, are you crazy?” Sila said.
“But we are friends of course we are related right baby?” Su-Nita said through the window.
Sila tipped her head a little and said, “Crazy little girl,” then he walked away.
“Hey, wait for me,” Su-Nita called as she ran up to him.

They walked into the room Mina was put in. Mina was awake as she saw Su-Nita and Sila walking towards her.
“Thanks you guys for helping me,” Mina said.
Su-Nita walked over and sat on the chair beside her and replied, “its okay, we are friends remember.”
Mina smiled as she looked at Sila and said, “Sila, thanks for the help today.”
Sila just shook his head a little.
“I felt sad for you about your wedding,” Mina said.
“It’s okay, everything passed already,” Sila replied.
“Mina, how has life been?” Su-Nita asked.
Mina turned to the side as tears rumble down her cheeks as she replied, “Tae and I are at the point of divorce.”
“Why what happened?” Su-Nita asked.
“I don’t want to talk about it anymore,” Mina said.
“What about your child? He is the father, you have to tell him and make up for this,” Su-Nita said.
“He won’t understand me. He never had,” Mina said as she looks to Sila.
Sila looks at her then turned around having his back faced to the two.
“Sila, can I talk with you?” Mina said.
Sila turns around as Su-Nita turns to look at Sila too.
“Umm, I’ll leave then, you guys can talk,” Su-Nita said as she walked out.
Sila pulled Su-Nita’s hand and said, “Su-Nita you don’t have to leave.”
Su-Nita smiled and said to Sila, “Mina haven’t seen you in a long time it’s not good to bother you two. She probably has something special to tell you, so I’ll be outside.”
Su-Nita let go of his hand and walked out as she closed the door behind her.
Sila turns and looks at Mina and said, “For many years I’ve thought you had lived a happy life with the path you have chosen, but why is it that today we have to meet again with this kind of situation.”
“Sila, I know that what I said that day to you was wrong. I wanted to be the daughter that my parents wants and married the man they said that will suit me, but I realize that I can never take you out of my heart.”
“Mina, it is too late now, if you would have said that years ago I would still believe you, but right now we can’t turn back those times. You belong to someone else and I won’t interfere with your life.”
“Sila,” Mina said as she rose up, “As much as I tried to forget you, it becomes harder and harder.”
“Mina, you were my first love, but that was years ago when love was still a new blossomed rose to me. The day you came and told me you have decided to married him was the day that you disappeared from my heart. Though I’ve asked you if you love me, but still you couldn’t answer me,” Sila replied.
“I thought that day thoroughly when I left you, I thought clearly and decided to break your heart so you would have forgotten me. But it was so hard to forget you Sila. I’ve waited on that wedding day for you, but you didn’t show up,” Mina said.
Sila starred at her as he turned his back to her and said, “I did showed up that day, but seeing you so happily with your husband, I made up my mind at that point to forget that I have ever loved you,” then he turned around to her.
Mina’s tears dropped slightly, as she asked, “Is it because of Su-Nita that is why you can’t accept me if I returned back to you?”

(Back to Su-Nita)

Su-Nita peered back at the baby through the window.
“Hmm, baby,” she said, “I wonder what your Uncle Sila and mother is talking about right now?”

(Back in the room)

“Su-Nita has nothing to do with this,” Sila said.
“I know that your Fiancée just passed away, but Sila I just want to know, do you still love me?” Mina asked.
“If it was still three years ago, my answered would have been yes, but right now all the love and feelings I have for you are just as friends or siblings,” Sila replied.
Mina’s tears dropped as she asked, “Sila, can you at least tell me why I can’t be with you anymore?”
Sila stares at her and replied, “I don’t retrace my old paths. The foot steps I took had been erased; trying to retrace every step would only bring back those heart breaking moments to me again. I will move on with the time and my heart will move forward, the love that I left behind were the strength that pulled me here today. I won’t be able to love you like before, but I will do my best to help you and your husband back together.”
“So does it mean that you had never loved me from the start?” Mina asked.

(Back to Su-Nita)

“Umm, miss are you the sister of Mrs. Mina Lurchaiwat?” the nurse asked.
Su-Nita was about to answer as the nurse said again, “Please, go tell her that we’ll bring her baby to her in a little while.”
“Okay,” Su-Nita replied as she left to Mina’s room.

As she reached the door she heard Mina asked Sila conversations:
“I don’t want to talk about the past anymore, right now is the present. I only use the past to erase and guide myself into the future ahead of me,” Sila said.
“Can you tell me what you think about Su-Nita?” Mina asked.
Su-Nita listened as Sila replied, “Su-Nita is my friend, a friend who helped me through good and bad. A friend who will never let me suffer alone and she is a friend who I won’t be able to live without.”
“So does it mean you love her?” Mina asked.
Sila stares at her as Su-Nita listen quietly from outside, “Love is not something we were made for, but a true friendship is what we found within each other.”
Mina looks at how Sila reacts too when talking about Su-Nita. He seemed so calm and even though Sila said they were only friends, Mina knew that deep inside there was something more than that.
Su-Nita opened the door as Sila and Mina noticed her.
“Mina, the nurse will be bringing your child in, in a little while,” Su-Nita said.
Mina gave a smiled and nodded her head.

(At Su-Nita’s house)

Sila dropped her off as he said, “Su-Nita do you think it’s gonna hurt me one day if I reject Mina today.”
Su-Nita looks at him and answered, “Sila, it is up to your heart to decided, but always remember that which ever path you choose, I’ll be happy with you.”
Sila held her hand as he said, “I know I won’t regret it this time, but I will try and do the best I can to help Mina and her husband get back together again. I don’t want to be the third person in their relationship.”
“You have chosen the right thing to do, but how are you going to do it?” Su-Nita asked.
“About that…I have no clue,” Sila replied.
Su-Nita giggled as she said, “Think about it, and if you want help just call me.” Then she walked in as Sila said bye and got in his car and drove off.

(At the Chaisuwan’s house)

Sila drove through the gate as he saw Bua waiting there for him. He parked his car as he walked out and asked Bua, “What are you still doing up for?”
“I was waiting for you P’Sila,” Bua answered, then asked, “where did you go today?”
“I went to see Aleecha again, but then met Mina and helped her to the hospital,” Sila replied.
Bua was shocked and quickly said, “Mina, is she trying to get back with you P’Sila, but she is already married.”
“Bua don’t say things like that. Mina and I are only friends now, I’m just helping her,” Sila answered as he walked in.
“P’Sila,” Bua said as she quickly follows him.
Sila walks up and into his room as he closed the door and locked it.
Bua walked up but couldn’t barge into Sila’s room so she left to her room. In Bua’s room she phoned Win.
Win answered that phone as she asked him, “Win can you help me?”
“What is it this time?” Win asked.
“P’Sila’s Ex-Girlfriend from three years ago is trying to get back with him, what can I do to stop this?” Bua asked.
“How should I know, it’s just your brother’s life,” Win stated.
“Win, you have to help me, there is no one else who can help me,” Bua said.
“Let’s talk about this tomorrow, I’m very tired,” Win said.
“Okay, you have to meet me by the park tomorrow,” Bua said.
“K,” Win replied as he hung up and fell asleep.
Bua thought to herself, “Mina, why did you have to come back for. I won’t let P’Sila be with you, I will not let him this time.”

(Early the next day)

Bua got up early and left the house without anyone knowing she was gone. She waited outside as a taxi stopped by and she got in. Pakorn car turned the corner as he saw Bua entering the taxi. He thought to himself, “Where is Bua going?” Then he drove after the taxi. The taxi stopped at the park where Bua got off and quickly ran off. Pakorn parked his car as he followed her in. Bua ran to where she asked Win to meet her up at and there she saw Win waiting for her.
“Bua, what is it that you wanted to tell me?” Win asked.
“P’Sila is probably trying to get back with his ex-girlfriend, but she is a married woman, I don’t want him to turn towards another wrong path,” Bua stated.
“Sila won’t be dumb to do something like that,” Win replied.
“Win just tells me, what should I do?” Bua asked.
“I don’t know,” Win replied.
Bua’s eyes watered with tears as she turns towards Win and said, “P’Sila is my only brother, I don’t want someone like her to come and ruined his life.”
Win noticed the tears and asked, “You love your brother so much, why you don’t just tell him that you care about his future, he’ll understand you.”
“P’Sila will never understand,” Bua stated as tears fell down.
“If I was Sila and I had a loving sister who cared about me so much, I would listen to her,” Win said.
“So do you think he’ll listen to me?” Bua asked.
“He will, Sila will listen if what you say is reasonable for him,” Win stated.
“Thanks Win,” Bua said as she hugged him and wiped her tears.
From a far view, Pakorn saw the two hugging each other tightly. He quickly rushed over and said, “Win,” and gave Win a punched in the face as Win fell down.
“P’Pakorn what are you doing here for?” Bua asked as Pakorn pulled her towards him.
“Bua, what are you doing here with this guy for?” Pakorn asked angrily.
“It’s none of your business,” Bua said as she pulled from him and walks to Win and asked Win, “Are you okay?”
Pakorn quickly pulled her and shouted, “Go with me!”
Pakorn dragged Bua to his car as Win followed right behind.
“Don’t use force against a woman like that if you are a gentleman,” Win said as he punched Pakorn.
Pakorn turned around and gave him a punch in the face as replied, “A gentleman would never try to steal another gentleman’s lady if he really is a gentleman.”
“P’Pakorn,” Bua said as she slapped him, and then added, “Win is my friend, I came here today to ask him for advice, and you shouldn’t do something like this to him.”
“What kind of friends are you two?” Pakorn questioned her, “Are you the kind that share’s love behind other people’s back?”
“P’Pakorn!” Bua yelled as she slapped him again, “If you can’t trust me then I think we shouldn’t be friends anymore,” then she pulled Win and walked away.
“Bua…Bua,” Pakorn said as he ran after her and grabbed her arm.
Bua pushed him away as she replied, “I have nothing else to talk with you, please leave I don’t want to see you.”
Pakorn watched as Bua got in Win’s car as they drove off.

(At the Patriya’s house)

Pakorn drove into the parking as he stopped and walked inside the house and up to his room without talking to anyone.
“Vie, what is wrong with Pakorn today?” Mrs. Patriya asked.
“I don’t know either mom,” Vie replied.

(At the hospital)

Su-Nita visited Mina and brought some food to her and bought some clothes for her baby. Mina was holing her baby as Su-Nita prepared the food she brought for Mina.
“I have made up my mind,” Mina said as Su-Nita looks at her.
“What is it?” Su-Nita asked.
“I will make up with Tae for the sake of my child,” Mina replied.
“Mina, I know you can do this,” Su-Nita said.
“But I think I’ll need Sila and you’re help,” Mina said.
Su-Nita smiled and said, “We will do all we can to help you.”
Mina gave a confident smile as she looks at her child in her arms.

(At the Chaisuwan’s house)

Bua walked in through the doors as Mrs. Chaisuwan asked her, “Where did you go today?”
“I went to see a friend mom,” Bua replied.
“Which friend?” Mrs. Chaisuwan asked.
“It’s just a friend,” Bua replied.
“Next time if you’re going out remember to tell me or someone so we won’t be worried,” Mrs. Chaisuwan said.
“I’m not a little kid anymore mom. I can do what I want,” Bua said as she ran up to her room.
“Bua…Bua,” Mrs. Chaisuwan called, but all she heard was only Bua closing the door of her room, then she said, “Kids these days,” then shook her head as she left to the kitchen.

(The next day)

At Chaisuwan’s Advertise Co. Ltd. a strange person walked up to the elevator and up to the top floor. There he bumped into Nee as her papers fell.
“Oh shoot, I’m sorry,” the stranger said.
“I’m sorry sir, it was my fault,” Nee replied.
The stranger helped Nee picks up her papers as he accidentally held onto her hand.
“Oh umm, sorry,” the stranger said.
Nee quickly put the papers together and asked, “What are you here for sir?”
“I came to see Sila, do you know where his room is?” the stranger asked.
“Do you have an appointment today sir?” Nee asked.
“Oh no, I just decided to come,” the stranger said.
“Oh, okay,” Nee said, “Just follow me, boss will be here in a little while.”
“Thanks,” the stranger said as he followed Nee.

Sila and Bua arrived at the entrance as the workers greeted Sila. Sila and Bua walked to the elevator and up to the top floor. Sila walked to his office as Bua follows behind. Nee greeted him by the door:
“Hello boss,” Nee said.
Sila nodded his head as Nee said, “Boss there is someone waiting in your room for you.”
“Who is it?” Sila asked.
“Umm, I’m not sure, he said he is a friend of yours,” Nee replied.
“He, so it’s a guy,” Sila questioned her.
“Yes boss, it’s a guy, why you ask?” Nee asked.
“Oh, nothing,” Sila said as he held the door node and turn back to Nee and said, “If there is anything I still need to catch up on bring it to me.”
“Okay boss,” Nee replied.
Sila enter in, as Nee sat back down in her seat and Bua sat down in hers.
In Sila’s office he saw that the guy waiting for him was Phawat.
“Phawat, it’s you,” Sila said.
Phawat got up and shook hands with Sila as Sila went and sat in his chair and Phawat sat across from him.
“When did you come back?” Sila asked.
“Just two days ago,” Phawat replied.
“So why are you here today?” Sila asked.
“I’m looking for a job, that’s all,” Phawat replied.
“Just in time, I have a position opened,” Sila said.
“Really, what kind?” Phawat asked.
“Manager of the Commercial Department, I just fired one a few weeks ago before you came,” Sila replied.
“Cool, I’m fine as long as it still deals with photos and beautiful ladies,” Phawat stated.
The two guys laughed as Phawat added, “Oh yeah, I forgot, you little loser left without telling me.”
“Ay I was in a hurry, that’s why I came back,” Sila said.
“In a hurry to get married huh,” Phawat said.
“Well actually it wasn’t like that,” Sila added.
“Anyway, let’s forget about that and show me around your work place, oh plus what’s you’re assistant’s name,” Phawat asked.
Sila gave him a weird look and said, “This is a work place, not a place for you to flirt with workers.”
“I know, but anyway, what’s her name?” Phawat asked again.
Sila rose from his chair as he said, “If you want to know her follow me.”
Phawat followed Sila as Sila opened the door and walked out to where Nee and Bua were working.
“Nee and Bua this is Phawat,” Sila said as he said to Phawat, “This is Nee my assistant and that is Bua my sister.”
“Nice to meet you two, I’m Phawat Pataporn,” Phawat said.
“Nice to meet you,” the two replied.
“Phawat is the new manager of commercials replacing Mr. Numwit’s place, so please help him around if he needs something,” Sila said to Bua and Nee.
“K, boss,” Nee said as Bua just nodded.
“Oh Nee, I have some work to finish, if you don’t mind can you take Phawat on a tour around our work place,” Sila said.
“I still have some files to finish,” Nee replied.
Sila took the files and handed it to Bua, and said to Nee, “Bua will help you finish it up. Your job right now is to take Phawat on a tour around our departments.”
“Okay boss,” Nee said as she got up and said to Phawat, “Please follow me sir.”
“Just call me Phawat, I’m not the boss or an outsider, I like to be called by my name,” Phawat said.
Nee smile and said, “Please follow me this way Mr. Phawat Pataporn,” as Nee walked away.
Phawat took a deep breath as he follows Nee. Sila shook his head with a funny smile as Bua asked him, “P’Sila why are you so happy.”
“It’s nothing. If you are finished with the papers bring it in to me,” Sila said as he enters to his office.
Bua gave a glared as Sila entered in and said quietly, “Why is he making me do all the work?”

(Down in the departments)

“This is the department of commercials,” Nee said, “as the new manager you have to take care and organize both this and the photography department too.”
“Really, that much work,” Phawat stated.
“Well of course, you’re the top of the other managers, boss hasn’t told you that yet,” Nee said as she walked forward.
Phawat quickly catch up as he followed her into the photography room. Alice was there taking pictures for the latest fashion.
“This is the photography room where our models and other advertiser takes pictures,” Nee said as she walked forward.
A worker was walking by with light set and almost hit Nee as Phawat grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him.
Nee starred into his eyes as he starred into hers, “umm,” Nee couldn’t say anything as she pulled away from him then said, “Thanks.”
“It’s okay,” Phawat replied.
Alice noticed Nee as she walked over and asked, “Nee is Sila here today.”
“Yeah he’s in his office,” Nee replied.
“What are you doing down here Nee?” Alice asked.
“Oh Alice, this is Mr. Pataporn, the new manager in this department,” Nee said.
“Nice to meet you sir,” Alice said.
“Just call me Phawat,” Phawat said.
“Nice to meet you Phawat,” Alice said again.
“Phawat, this is Alice, she is a model for our company,” Nee said.
Phawat shook Alice’s hand as he commented, “I can see why Sila chose this kind of job, and he gets to be by beautiful ladies like you.”
Alice smiled as she said to Nee, “I have to go now. I haven’t seen Sila in a long time; I want to see how he’s doing. Bye.” Alice left.
“Wow, Alice seems to know Sila a lot,” Phawat said.
“She’s not the only one,” Nee thought in her mind.
“Mr. Pataporn, follow me over here,” Nee said as she walked out of the photography room.
Phawat followed her as he said, “Just call me Phawat; I don’t hold such a high job to be called Mr. Pataporn.”
“I am an assistant, I am just doing my job,” Nee said.
“How come you’re not like this morning? We were getting along pretty well,” Phawat stated.
“Mr. Pataporn, please let me do my job,” Nee said as she walked ahead of him.
“Hey is this what you called showing me around,” Phawat said as he tried to follow her.
