I'm not really sure how the Thai Entertainment Industry works, but wouldn't NNS be affected once the the coverage for the filming of the new Jiranee Lakorn pick up? I mean, first they have to create hype for this new pairing, despite the two of them having their respective "favorite pairing" then just when they picked up momentum (showing that Yaya and James Ji are closer, they look cute together, etc.) the Jiranee hype appears to be brewing again. Conversely, won't the hype for the Jiranee drama (Padiwarrada? Did i spell that right?) be affected once NNS starts to air on June since by that time, Padiwaradda would presumably be shooting more scenes then, so it would have more BTS coverage or something. I suppose Padiwaradda would only be affected if NNS becomes a super big hit and people start liking James Ji x Yaya. I guess many of us in this thread wish that NNS will be a big hit, and it already looks promising - although realistically, I don't think it would be enough to deter the Nadech x Yaya shippers, or perhaps Jiranee.  Any thoughts on this?

From the start, this is a remake, there is nothing much to expect. I am more a singular actor fan not really a couple fan. For the couple fans they will like their favorite couple work anytime whether this drama going to be air now or later.

Do I worry about that? Nope. It is more on individual preference. But it kind of big space between Feb (when they finished filming) and June. By then, the interest could be lesser. To begin with, there wasn't much interest in the pairing either so it doesn't bother me. Of course everyone hope their job is successful and people will support it but it all still depend on the viewers. We will only know what the respond like when it air in June.

But I am waiting for them. Finger cross.

@040156, many couple fans of both jiranee and yadech are very understanding and supportive of their individual works. Ofcourse, for ppl to jin and fin for them to be a real couple wont be the same as for yadech and jiranee, but if they portray their characters successfully, it should still make the audiences jin with the characters onscreen :) These 4 also have their strong individual fanbase, who follows their works regardless of what it is and who it is with, so there is not much of a concern. Plus if those couple fans are too possessive and not open about their stars' individual works, then they're the ones missing out heheh

Jiranee's overall popularity and new upcoming lakorn has absolutely no affect on NNS. There is also no need to create any hype for James/Yaya pairing. Both are individually two of the most popular actors and actresses for Channel 3 and them collaborting already says a lot. There was a high demand for them to work together since the beginning, even way before James and Yaya actually met each other. Fans were already crazy about them and kept requesting all these producers to pair them until their wish came true. If NNS happens to be successful, that won't have any affect on Jiranee's new lakorn either, if anything it'll make viewers even more excited to see James on screen again with another good actress. BTS coverage all depends on the team workers of Channel 3 and their availability, it has nothing to do with another lakorn with a more popular pairing or anything. In my honest opinion, this lakorn is being produced in order to introduce a new pairing to us and bring happiness to the viewers as it's a popular, light hearted lakorn with a good cast. The cast and crew of NNS, the fan clubs and everyone who loves and respects these two adorable kids have no intentions of wanting this lakorn to deter other NY and Jiranee fans. The whole point is just to have fun, watch the lakorn and provide feedback whether it's positive or negative so everyone can take away something from this working experience. I wouldn't be concerned about the whole fan club thing or else it ruins the enjoyment. It's not a competition. This is a good opportunity for Yaya and James to work with different people and build their careers. Regardless of the turn out, one thing for sure is that majority of the Thai fans are more than willing to open up their hearts and give this pairing a chance despite whoever's fan they are. If other people can't provide the same positivity and support then that's their decision and their loss.

Oh gosh, the lyrics sounds so cheesy >.< But their voices sound good and compliment one another really well.

Do you guys think it's better to watch the old version since I have never seen it, or do you think I should just wait (for months  :cry1:  :cry1:  :cry1:) for this to air? I've seen trailers of the Ken and Janie version and it does look quite interesting. Is there an older version of Neung Nai Suang? (How many versions are there?)

I think they have several versions, not sure how many exactly. I watched Ken-Janie one. It does get bored in the centre when they keep going back and forth with their indifferent of each other.

I think best not to watch because then you would have expectations on it. Maybe you watch the older version after the new one.

Do you usually watch the older version first before the new one?

This is a remake so almost 80 percent of it will be the same? But then you still can watch the previous version first since it's going to be a long wait. June is a long wait. Ha, ha now I am not so sure which one would be better.
