@KitKat516 Kwang’s Aungsamalin is stubborn but you can FEEL it in her heart and see it through her eyes that she LOVES KOBORI very very much. Like her pain is your pain, also maybe cuz she’s just a more mature person and actress so she conveys those feelings well. Just from the opening credit, when she’s cold, she’s cold, but with a limit due to her pride, but when she’s sad, it speaks a lot of volume and sorrowness too. I love them just from the preview! Haha :p

I need a girl that can do ALL that. I’m feeling Mew the most ahhaahahahhah! But Mew seems a little reserved sometimes as well, but out of everyone else I lean towards her the most!:angel10:

That's all due to Kwang playing that role to perfection.

True. But is it just me or does Bird make his KOBORI a little sexual sometimes?? Lol. Like—he really hungry for Hideko 55555 which I love cuz it’s appropriate but I don’t know if the other Koboris did the same 555555

Birds sorrowness conveys through his eye = perfect!

Kwang’s emotions and pain conviction = perfection!

    It’s time for a lakorn marathon !! :risas3::risas3:rsceneswwilling|:attempt::risas3::risas3::worship2::naughty2::p:p

Kwang portrayal of Aung Sumallin character made me despised Aung with a passion. Aung is racist, cold blooded, mean, stubborn, and prideful. Stubborn and stupid is not a good combination. She doesn’t love Kobori. If she love him she wouldn’t have tried to kill their unborn baby. She doesn’t deserve a good man like Kobori to be her husband. It’s her karma Kobori died.

Not sure but I enjoy all the Koo Kum cover.

The one by Ford and Jeab is good too but Bird version is the best.

It’s true, she is so cold! I was marathoning and boy—I got to the part where they got married and he got drunk one night, so he took care of some business in the bedroom 5555555555 serves her right! I don’t condone rape but she has been so cold and very very hateful towards up until this point. He has already clearly said I love you probably 100X by now, yet she still dared said to his face, I hate you, hate you foreigner, you’re never one of us! She is seriously a racist dude— she has prejudice against him and his people so deep!! Even her mom isn’t that prejudice!! I’m so angry with her!! KOBORI must love her to death to put up so much with her verbal abuse and those sharp knife stabbing words, yo! Even as a viewer, I cringe hearing some of her scornful hatred language towards him, I hate you. I hate you. Gosh! Poor KOBORI!! But Bird, he really has the most enduring, hurtful and emotional eyes. He looks like he’s always ready to cry bc of her sharp stabbing words and action!! :sad6::sad6::sad6: Every comment on YouTube is “สงสารKobori.” Lol seriously, everyone just has pity and empathize with him. Cry with him even til his last breath!! So far—I’m very angry with Hideko, she treats him so bad, even when she knows she’s suffering saying those words. But why, why still say them out to hurt the person who loves you most???So what if he’s Japanese, he’s handsome and loves you 100%!?!:sad6::sad6:

And I’m not done watching either lol I’m gonna watch til the end so I can brace myself for the new Hideko!!!!!! Lol :p

Ang is the worst n’ek in the history of lakorn. The stabbing part pissed me off so much. She knew he was going to get stabbed and she didn’t even try to warn him. After the stabbing he knew she knew of the plan but he still forgave her and love her. Kobori is a fool in love. In a way he’s crazy for loving such a hateful woman.

Yes, that and the part where he searched her house and knew she was hiding a white “criminal” and he got so angry that she would lie about it, he called it a “low thing” to do but he still protected her and left the house peacefullyfully. Honestly if this was real life, oh man—— it would be so hard to always try to love and pursuade Hideko tbh. I don’t know how KOBORI has so much persistence and patience for her cold and unfair treatment. Like she purposely do things to hurt and piss him and yet he’s willing to overlook everything. Got me crying. Hahahaha. Fans comments are like “Mother Aung, if he didn’t love you, he wouldn’t protect you that much!” 5555 comments are so on point and fulfilling. You can feel their rage and anger towards Aung too!! Haha But in hindsight, it was true love, it may be stupid and blind but it was a true love Kobori was willing to do for her. She’s just too stubborn, too inconsiderate of him due to his background.

And another scene that cuts me so hard is when he was at their house visiting the granny and afterwards he said if he was still alive by the end of the war, he wants to take her whole family to visit the beauty of Japan. Well guess what she said? No thank you bc I’ll never even step on that country. So cold, rude and cruel. Bird’s whole face went from bubbly to puppy sad eyes. Wow! How can she be so inconsiderate and just cruel ?!? She shuts him down at every opportunity. Even he can’t cheer her up! But the thing is despite how dispicable the character is, Kwang isn’t annoying acting her. Like, I actually don’t want to slap her. I just feel so bad for Bird, like he needs hugs every time she cuts him with her sharp words. But now I’m worried that if newer actresses play Aungsamalin, I might want to slap them cuz newer actresses be putting too much ugly attitude into their acting. Very dislikable! Haha

No Mew, this role is too complex for her, it will definitely break her. Her acting is not up there yet. She didn’t do well in Mangla role so this is not something for her, imo. Heck, it’s really hard to cast someone from this generation as Sumallina from ch3. They either don’t look the part or acting is limited.

Aung was a very prideful person. To me, deep down inside she does love kobori. The way Kwang take on the role it was hard for me to completely hate her. She was subtle in her hatred and her delivery was smooth. Especially, her facial expressions were not all over the place. She has major attitude with her small frame but it wasn't an intolerable one. When I watched it I sympathize with Kobori the most, but I never came to full term of hating Aung.

The newer generation will have a hard time conveying their feelings when it is this complex and different layers to make it work. For most, their facial movements would already work against them. And when they play a n'ek with attitude, they literally have an attitude of people of the present but not those in the earlier days. And that alone would already be less convincing. Kwang, has a soft appearance even if she was so mean at no time I wished harm on her.

That's why the channel have to be specifically careful in choosing a n'ek. She has to play a prideful, hating, stubborn, betrayal, and mean individual without crossing a fine to make viewers hate her.

Yea, I can totally see this now after marathoning a quarter way into the show. Haha. As most natural and as less annoying as Mew plays most of her characters, this role is def a complex one for her. I’m worried she’s not going to be able to challenge Aung the way Aung should be played when she’s stubborn, hard head, “Pak Kaeng”, smart mouth, cold, etc. Aung is a complex character, she can turn from hot to cold, yet still maintain sanity. Haha.

The thing is she loves to hurt KOBORI. He’s the most pitiful character. Poor boo— Bird!! Hahahaha

Yes! I’m just gonna let ActArt and ch3 do their proper job of finding the appropriate actress to play Aung for now. Haha

But what changes my mind is after watching Bird, I can actually visualize Mario as KOBORI. Haha. He has that commanding demeanor, serious look despite his baby-looking face and small frame, yet he can give off those pitiful look and puppy sad eyes. Birds signature look is those sad puppy eyes (prob not exactly the right term to describe them but his eyes speak so much of sorrowness). So on point!!!
