@Rosi I agree with @Amata that the moon in Janward's and Date's poem refer to Janward since Jan means Moon. Even Kade recognized that they flirt even in the poem.
Credit to Santeti Leekit on FB. This user explained that in the novel Kade intend to encourage Janward with her poem to not underestimate herself. Janward implied that she is a lowly moon, her place is not on the sky but on the ground. So, Kade implied that the moon on the ground like Janward is rare and valuable. But Date was so lost with how good Kade's poem was that he thought Kade is that moon (the rare walking moon) instead of Janward. Luckily i saved his/her translation of the 3 poems coz i found they are easy to understand. I would love to see your translation too when you have time @Amata

Janward's poem:
The lowly moon is out-shined by the sunlight
Makes her light not bright like before
Plus the clouds obstruct her way like the wall
I, then, know my place. It's as low as the floor (ground)

Date's poem:
Though the moon is blocked and out-shined
Flocks of birds still chirp, praise her high
So the moon does care the clouds. why?
The little star shall fly to fight along with the moon

Kade's poem:
The moon on the sky is boring and easy to find
The moon on earth is precious like sapphire
The walking moon that can keep you company is utterly rare
The floating moon on the sky has nothing but the glare

So, like wowww should we say poor Kade, got insulted but still trying to help Janward with Date? & also poor thing because of Janward's not liking her because of Mae Karakade's circumstances. Or do we end up saying poor Janward? Because Kade's selfless scheme somehow backfired. I didn't understand their words said like this before.

So Kade wasn't out to help herself to sneer at Date then, she was just backing Janward. Janward was being so humble with her poetry, placing her self esteem way below the man she likes.

Usually short poems or poetry has a bigger story behind it, and these in BPS has more depth than when I first understood it. Thanks @Chario mintmario , for your version of the translation. The one I forwarded with the video is credit to the writer from facebook for BPS international fans.

It is not strange if some people will have different interpretation in the same poetry. The person who know what it means in his context would be the writer. But most of them passed away. Then they let the readers, listeners be able to use their own imagination.

I've watched the video and the translation. I m disappionted the last line dismissed. English there is much better than mine.

I m getting scared if I translate those for you as it is not only hard to translate to the other language, but also hard to interpret the meaning to Thai

Anyway the translation in the video just say it word by word. It doesn't explain the meaning hidden. That is what I would like to talk about and don't be surprised if you find other people would think different. Perhaps you maybe right because some scenes in the lakorn are different from the book.

PS . I think the Moon in Date's Klon means woman too.

What's the last line that wasn't added on? It would have brought more weight to the poetry?

Please don't be scared to translate! We would all like to hear your version of it too hehe. If @Chario mintmario didn't express it like that we wouldn't find it from that angle either. The beauty of all of us being here we can share different bits of what each person has read, heard or understand it from other loving fans. And especially coming from yourself, being Thai, would be engrossing too!

A lot of his dramas have been doing well, despite him usually being in the supporting role. Everyone on MDL said his 2017 lakorn Cheewit Puer Kah Huajai Puer Tur was especially good. So yeah. Idk how he'll look with Susie. He's a pretty good kisser though, so there's that.
