if pale/fair skin is considered as high-class in thailand, i guess i'd be pretty up there...lol..i'm so fair-skinned..its not that i'm pale, i'm kinda peachy i guess haha...i'm also mixed chinese

anyways, i'd say about 75 percent of thai celebs are mixed....and at first i thought all thai ppl looked like that, but as i got older, i realized that wasnt necessarily true lol..

dang girl 5'9 that's good height but yeah maybe to tall for most asian guys but yeah i think the majority of thai stars are mixed if not half white than chinese, even the ones that say they are all thai but are light i still say they got chinese in there blood along the way somewhere. Like me i'm laos and pretty much say i'm full laos but i look vietnamese when i was little they nickname me little vietnamese in laos and sometimes people think i'm chinese also but i tell them i'm laos even though in my bloodline on my mom said there some chinese and my dad said he has thai blood. I ended up with my mom light skin instead of my dad's darker skin tone.

dudette....before i watched lakorns i thought all thais were darker in complexion...sorta like indigenous south asians..when i saw Tik Jesdaporn star int he Eye II with Shu Qi........i totally didnt even know he was thai...i thought he was a new taiwanese star who didnt speak cantonese and had to be dubbed over..... then i saw iron lady and realized that he is thai.........then i saw my first lakorn and was WOWed......everyones soooo pale....seriously i cant tell most thai actors/actresses from east asians......

when i was in thailand and the most common saying was, if you want to decipher a true thai and a fake thai, look at their skin, if they aren't dark/tan, they aren't all thai or they are artificial, because a real thai is dark. a majority of the lighter folks in bkk are mixed with chinese, or migrated from chiang mai or chiang rai because the mountain ppl are WHITE lol... well they are alot paler than those in bkk. i think noon is from chiang mai or rai too no?

Aff is the darkest n'ek i've seen by far...lol..and i love it, she has like Cali tan or something..and the avg height is 5'4 for american women, just finished a project on that sorta thing for health class, and avg weight is 145...

I think maybe in between both colors cause when you light skin every time summer rolls around you have to get a tan other wise you look all wrong wearing shorts and stuff and the first thing people say is damn you need a tan and when i do tan it doesn't last anyways by winter i get lighter again. As for being chinese yeah they do ask all asians that at first but if you notice they never ask asians with dark skin if they are chinese cause my sister and brothers are both dark and no one ever ask them at first if they are chinese.

vicki's parents changed their last name when they immigrated to the states to better assimilate. their original last name was something more thai, but i don't remember it. anyways, just saying she isn't mixed.

Yup, it's 5'3" I googled it because my boyfriend is studying nursing (to back up his Business degree) and he was reading something about average heights being effected by different circumstances all over the world. So I got curious and googled to find out what the average height is for each country, I remember reading an article about the Norwegians average male height being taller than Americans. It was a big deal because for the longest time American male's average height has always been the tallest. The article said something about it having to do with diet and the lack of medical care in the US being available to everyone. (In other words, it's probably due to the fact that we dont' have universal healthcare.) For American women it's been 5'3" for the longest time, actually a little more than 5'3" but under 5'4". It hasn't changed much for women in the past 10 years. I checked various sources because it differs, some say 5'3", some say 5'4" but overall, I got more sources that said the average American woman's height is 5'3" or to be more precise 5'3.7".

Yeah, it changed recently, in like the past 3-4 years I think.
Before that it's been Americans who's average height was taller (for men) had to do with the development of the country.
But things changed for the other countries nutrition wise, which advance them health and height wise.
You can have a lot of tall people in one area but the average counts every person living within that country, which includes people of every ethnicity.
If it's not Norway you're probably thinking of another Scandinavian country.
Italians, French, Greeks, etc. are Europeans too but on average they're not nearly as tall.

You gotta keep in mind that the average height difference between these countries isn't that big.
It's usually anywhere from a cm to 2-3 inches max.
