They'll have a cute baby sometime later, right? I remember the actress playing the p'eks mom - she always plays crazy characters. Looks like she's doing it again :D
I don't like him much...but I agree there is still hope for his character. I wouldn't mind if he got together with Ji. Anyone is better for him than nrai lol.
I sort of hate the n'ek and her family. Her brother is a weakling and the mom is horrible to p'ek's sister. Hope they open their eyes soon it's so obvious the nrai is horrible lol.
I'm curious, what happened to Aum that he can no longer get lead roles? Was he involved in a scandal or something?
Agree about Nadech. He needs a challenging role; Yaya did very well as Jeerawat- Nadech needs something like this also- a fierce role that will make people pay attention and...
Good luck, my prayers to you for what you are dealing with. Some people are really mean for no good reason- Hope you surround yourself with nicer people for support.
Is it because they change too much of the story from the original?
I think remakes shouldn't change too much- especially if the original one was already good to begin with. Of course, original ones are usually better but i notice that when remakes change too much, they end up even worse.
The...
Chompoo, matt or kim...will do fine in this, imho. I don't think it's about having to pair kim with nadech just because yaya paired with mark ( it's not a revenge thing where nadech has to revenge yaya or kim has to revenge mark just because of kc kiss lol it's about who fits the roles best) but...
Sorry about that :) i couldn't think of any other example so i mentioned kc haha. I'm glad ann got to star with tik, even if i would have preferred a younger pek and nek.
Yes, I think Tik is too old for some of his n'eks. When he is cast in a role (or when it is just given to him automatically even if it doesn't fit him) it automatically limits who the n'ek can be. Even if he can choose any n'ek a lot of them don't fit him in both looks and chemistry. Imho, the...
I think yaya is actually taller than both matt and chompoo...i remember seeing her stand together with them before, so their height should not be a problem for nadech.
This must be ch3's first korean drama remake, i guess? Usually it's onehd who does the kdrama remakes.
when do you guys think thit fell in love with jee? I know he loves her by the last episode but i'm actually more confused when it started with him?
With jee, i know she started to like him in the island because he took care of her when she was sick.
I was thinking the same thing, actually. JMa looks more like the role of do min joon but i guess Nadech could work also. For the female lead...anyone but yaya lol. Funny, i actually think yaya fits the role but since she's already doing 2 lakorns with nadech it would be too much.
Any of those...
I really liked Frequency when I saw it :) I know Signal is inspired by it, but it has a Korean flavor- they were really able to capture the different time periods (1989, 1995, 2000 and 2015) it was great! Will check out To Get Unstuck in Time.
I just finished Signal...it's so good! It's a crime thriller though, not a romance but the plot is so interesting (there was not a single boring moment); it's about how a young detective in present time communicates with another older detective from 1989 and they use it to solve cases. Really...
I think it's ok to promote koojins actually and for other peoples to enjoy them. It's true that we enjoy different things in different ways- I just dislike it when I see the koojin (or the actor or the actress) in the IG of KC for example, if they're not really connected with the drama. It's not...
I don't understand the koojin system tbh. To me, when a couple have chemistry onscreen, it's just showbiz. It doesn't mean that they have the same relationship in real life. I think about the couple in Secret for example (that's one of my favorite dramas- I like that even better than KC...
There are way too many scenes I liked in KC so I can't list them all. Even the supporting characters had good scenes (jee's mom mok jariya, p'suki, etc), but awhile ago i was watching episode 15 and I noticed there were a lot of scenes where Thit behaved completely opposite to his behavior in...
I'm Filipino :) I wasn't aware there were pinoys into Thai drama. We usually watch either Korean drama. Before that, we were into Mexican telenovelas lol.
Happy Birthday Yaya and Mark. Really nice birthday cards, btw. :)
I usually watch drama/revenge lakorns but they're a hit or a miss...a lot i've seen aren't that good, but once in awhile there will be one that i like. Often, i find that the characters don't redeem themselves (p'ek too mean...
Yes, I hate it when p'ek can't handle nrai. I like it when they're not afraid to tell nrai (or anyone else) to get lost - look coldly into their eyes and say, 'hey, i'm sick of you! Lol'
Kluen Cheewit 'ying harm ying won wai' ( this song keeps playing in my head these days, so annoying lol but i like it anyway)
also love* punch's voice in jlr ( i was surprised to see her look so young and baby faced but she has this beautiful grown up woman's voice coming out of her)...i also...
Thanks for the IG translations @Vimalee :)
Mark and yaya (thit and jee) look good at the event. I like the look he gave her, makes me wish this was part of KC. Hope CH3 comes up with more lakorn like KC.
https://instagram.com/p/BRn8usGBqMV/
Does anyone know what this means? It looks funny :)
Still not over KC, it's too soon right now so I've been watching some of the episodes and the ost is still playing in my head lol
btw, in the scene in ep 15 (hospital) when Thit accuses Chaiyan of making him misunderstand Jee, does Chayan tell him 'Now you're being protective' or 'Now you're being possessive'?
Yes! I wanted to see more of this. Episodes 1-6 had so much of Jee having to deal with him, with Piak, with everyone, etc. It would have been great to see him thinking about that more. I liked the scene in the end when he was looking for Jee and he went back to that place (the one in episode 5...
:risas3::risas3:
Lol I love these parts too if only there were more of them. Love what you say about the floor. :risas3:I think Thit is TeamJee at the end of this now.
Things I loved:
Yaya's chemistry with ALL the characters just made this entertaining to watch. She even had chemistry with Toey! Her chemistry with Mark was the best- even when they were fighting at the beginning I already saw it. It just got better when they finally got together as a couple. I...
Really enjoyed this :) I've been waiting for this to air 2 years now and it did not disappoint. It's not perfect- there are things I would've wanted to change about it. I'm going through a long post now lol there's
so much to take in.
Cons:
I would've liked Piak to apologize to Jee! There were...
I like Louis Scott- he always plays that character who gets mad at the main character lol. He's also very good at scolding them when they deserve it lol. He scolded kawee, he got mad at mart's character ( in the lakorn with susie) and he scolded chompoo in dok som ( the lakorn where she plays...
I get what you are saying but in my case, I don't think I want NY paired every year because it seems that most actresses/actors get only one (1) lakorn a year. Yaya didn't even have anything aired last 2016 although I know it's because KC was pushed back (for reasons unknown, KC was in...
Do they sell dvd with eng sub? Also, is there a place people can order english translation of novels? Most lakorn are based on novels i think. Just curious since theres a lot of international fans looking for eng sub/ translation
Yes, that's why I am glad she got to act in KC- she's no longer a teenager so it's good for her to get grown up roles. :) They have newbies coming in everyday so I don't think Yaya is young by their standards anymore.
I actually like Meteor Garden better than the Japanese HYD although both are good. If it's going to be adapted into Thai drama they should set it in college so that the characters are older. The first season of MG is good because it really follows the japanese manga (even more than the Japanese...
I liked Nadech/Yaya in Duang Jai and GRGR but after that, they could have paired Yaya or Nadech with others for Toranee and for the Rising Sun series. Then after that, they could even have paired Nadech/Yaya for Kluen Cheewit and I would've been willing to see how Nadech portray this version of...
I think Nadech and Yaya have good chemistry also. My only problem is that they get paired up way too often. Any pairing will get boring if overdone, I think that's what happened to them- that's why people have been saying that they didn't have any chemistry in their last few lakorn. If CH3 just...
I finally made a fan art for this. I just based it on an earlier photo manip I posted here. Jeerawat's problems with nearly all the characters in this drama lol.
"I'm Jeerawat" (aka Circles of Life) :P
Was it episode 15 or episode 14? I thought 14, based on the spoilers.
I agree with this- I wish they had been written her better although I don't want them to take away screen time from Jee and Thit. The problem is that they're a supporting couple, so not as developed. The lakorn tells us they...
The thing about Piak's scenes with Chaiyan is that there's no way someone as small as her can make someone like him fly when she kicks or hits lol. I don't care if she's on steroids or anything like that. The only thing that makes sense is that he's scared of her. So when she hits or kicks him...
Thanks! :)
Yeah, I don't think Thit is jealous of Chaiyan at all I'm not seeing it in the scene where he visits the film shoot...I think he got jealous of Jate earlier in the hospital. But in the film shoot scene it only looked like he went there for Piak. I don't know why even Sitta thought he...
I'd really like to see a nadech-kim reunion or even a nadech-mint (first time) in this kind of lakorn. I mentioned this before in the remake thread. But i was thinking jlr. Just make the pnang fallin love in the island (like in John and Ning's version) then change it to willing.
That's crazy...
I don't know if this has been answered (it's taking me awhile to go through this busy thread :) ) but from what I've seen Jee and Chaiyan are really good friends. I think it was mentioned in an earlier episode that they knew each other since college/school days which means that Chaiyan is the...
That's so sweet of Taew to be supportive even if she's not part of the KC lakorn. She's a beautiful actress with talent, so I wish her well in all her lakorns.
I like Thit but can that guy lie to himself or what. First he says he's poor, then he says he won't be interested in Ji w/no clothes...
Can anyone please explain to me what Pom and P'Sanya means? I know P is used to address someone older in Thai, while Nong is for someone younger.
I think I missed those parts- did Thit ask J to call him P'Sanya?
I was a bit worried about the episodes this week but I'm glad I watched. Super glad it was a willing even if not a happy one. I did feel uncomfortable but that was the whole point of the scene. The performances of the entire cast (especially Yaya and Mark) were amazing...
For height, I think Yaya (and Chompoo?) is a tall n'ek. Kim is of medium height, Mint C and Mew are short.
Mark isn't tall but he's medium height, Nadech is short- although he's taller than Tik. I think the tall ones are Weir, Bomb (Mik from CH7?) and Willy.
It's great that Mark is full Thai...
I don't mind but I think if Yaya is going to be paired with a veteran she should do a mature, fierce character. She's baby faced, so if she acts innocent she might look like their daughter instead. :) If she plays fierce it will make her seem older and more even with the older p'ek.
I don't mind Mark and Yaya pairing again...but not soon. Maybe in a few (5) years after they get paired with others.
Yaya has a lot of tough girl roles coming. Jee in Kluen Cheewit and later her role in Leh Lub (which is also a comedy) and Likit Ruk. I actually wouldn't mind seeing her in...
Yes, I think I read somewhere that Nadech is part Austrian? Not sure how accurate that is...but I never even knew it from his looks because he definitely looks more Asian. I actually thought he was Japanese when I first saw him because of his face and his last name.
All those guys (Nadech, James, Mark, etc.) are good looking, just in different ways so I guess it's a matter of taste. I asked my American friend and she said she found Nadech most handsome among them. I sort of have the same opinion. It's just that Nadech is shorter so he sometimes looks...
Well, it makes sense for Ji to take the lead and grab Thit's hand when they are being chased...poor girl is so used to being chased by bad guys. It must be her survival instinct from so many things that happened to her :( Love how she's kind even when she's mad- the scene when Piak fell into the...
Yeah, i can't wait to see that as well :icon12: I like how chaiyan tells him off about ji in the last part of episode 8. I think thit is lying to himself when he talks like that, though.
kpopjate: "I'm like a convenience store, i'm open 24/7 and i have everything you need" :confused0:
She's a good jumper too :) i wish they showed the scene where she watches p'suki's cd of what really happened- it would've been great to see her a bit guilty.
The scene was funny, it reminded me of Jeed in DuangJai akanee when she was comparing herself to milk, you know what i mean
I think Dao must be happy, seeing that there might be something between Jee and Thit, she's probably thinking she can now have KpopJate to herself lol.
Really enjoyed this week's episodes! Finally the plot is moving forward :)
7
What i really like about the beach scenes is that they're not there to just look nice, they actually have a role in the story- to get the pnang to understand each other. Ji finally sees Thit's good side, so she also...
There are some interesting scenes but the plot is getting really repetitive now, if only it could pick up/move forward soon. I don't like the grandma parts so much. I know it adds to Ji's character but I feel like she has to deal with so much already then they add more problems -_- Thit is...
That's what i want also :) for them to team up that early, then go against the evil uncle. But at this point, since they're still fighting im thinking it will be too soon :/
Yeah, i don't really bother with who pairs with who in real life, to me that's their private business. But in showbiz, i like seeing them pair up with others since that's their job- to act and come up with entertaining stories/pairs; i don't see why they have to be limited with who they are...
Thanks for the info! Pim is a bit of a jerk herself to do that but at least Peak/Piak gets better. Kind of curious how Ji's mom reacts to all this since her reputation is so important to her. Have to wait and see- there seems to be a whole lot going on I can't wait for the story to move forward...
I think Jee is not attracted to Jate- she sees him as a friend figure, I think she seems him as a male version of Dao. Maybe that's why she saw their connection.
For me the problem is that when thit and tew were together they were cute but seemed a bit flat -something about the sweet scenes just seemed a little fake to me; i'm not sure if it was the acting but they behaved like the second or third couple in every rom com lakorn and he even left her in...
Btw how do you gals know what's going to happen in the lakorn- were there some summaries online or something? Or is it based on the old lakorn? I know they made a lot of changes here, which is a good thing - the old one only had the couple get together at the very last episode.
I don't think the mom knows her daughter at all. She isn't a very good mom is she? Always acting cute around the uncle but with ji her claws come out :( the little girl playing ji was so cute too. A future n'ek maybe?
There was an interview i saw before where yaya said she gets treated real bad in this lakorn (well i can see that!) but she said she also gets revenge later. kind of wondering what she meant by that. :confused0::sad6:
Jane seems like a nice girl; i don't know if they're going to follow the old lakorn in everything, we'll just have to wait and see. Piak just wants someone to be on her side so she chose her older brother since she knows he'll be against ji (jee?) from the start. Even her dad can see there is...
yeah i hate those contacts. That scene were they were by the piano was sad but powerful at the same time :( well acted, though.
Piak's going to get worse.
I like toey and i think it's great to see her play this character since it shows range. But her character will spend the entire lakorn growing crazier and crazier. And when the lakorn ends and sathit and ji get together she'll be like 'you mean i went crazy for nothing?' I like peak but there's...
But this is that type of lakorn, it's a melodrama. JLR, Sawan B, etc plenty of other plots make even less sense. With this one, at least you can see why character react some ways because of the situation, even if it's not the best decision. In JLR, why didn't Harit do more checking if he got the...
Yes, I feel they are both victims. It's only human when emotions get the best of you. Jee's stepfather had been bothering her for a long time already, what happened that night was the worst but it wasn't the last for her. From what I heard, he is actually well liked because he gives to charity...
She knew she was being followed. If she had stopped anywhere they could have caught her and hid her so when the police arrive it may be too late for her. I agree it wasn't the best decision but I can understand why it happened- she was able to fight them off at first because she got them by...
Sure, why not- I mean, we know they end up together here- they are the secondary (or the third?) couple. And they are cute :) Some of their scenes (when he carries her piggyback style) remind me of kdrama - can't wait to see them.
So the guy who appears later- the dad of Peak and Sathit- what is his job? He is the producer? I thought Peak was the producer of the production house?
When I saw that scene with the manager, I got teary. As for Sathit, what he says is funny since we saw what happens later.
That woman in the house does the most fake face I have ever seen. I had to laugh when first Ji kicked her and then later Ji's mom presses her face on the table lol.
Because if she didn't take the car and tried to hide somewhere to wait they could've caught her and gang raped her. I don't know how it's going to get solved in the end. But i hope evil mustache gets killed or goes to prison.
Thanks for the video links! Do you have the last part? Hope we get an english sub soon.
Really fast paced and entertaining. Some scenes are hard to watch (even if I do not understand) like- I wonder why the mom hates Ji so much? :( Ji's friendship with Daraka (nychaa) is :icon12:
Hi, welcome to the forum. :) We'll know when it airs for sure, it's hard to tell from just the trailers.- I keep trying to see what the characters are doing but the water effects cover them lol. XD They can't reveal too much right now i guess.
Btw, does anyone know who Bua and Mai W are playing...
Yeah i sort of agree with that. It's really hard for Yaya to shed that innocent persona, maybe that's why they wrote the character differently. A sad character rather than a raeng type. Ann is great in the 'don't mess with me' roles, although for me when she plays a softer role i feel it does...
Lol yeah it was pretty terrible. Wasn't it a hit or something? I watched the first few episodes, then jumped to the ending. Everyone in that lakorn was crazy- I mean, when the n'rai comes out looking exactly like the dead fiancee...it's like, not one of the characters even finds that weird lol...
Your english is great :) I wonder which version they're going to go with- evil stepfather drugs n'ek or evil stepfather wrecks her car. If they go with destroying the car, I wonder how the p'ek discovers it to use against him later.
There's this picture I saw
https://www.instagram.com/p/BPUC45lFk2v/
I wonder who Ji is talking to here because she looks mad and hurt at the same time. My guess is that it's her mom. :(
The mom in this lakorn sounds like the mom of a certain actress whose name begins with a K. Of course, the...
Lol that's just a joke btw, I was looking through GRGR related posts online...and then I saw Kluen Cheewit MV and Nadech's picture at the same time, it just appeared funny to me. Nadech is so good at facial expressions- he can be angry, funny and cute at the same time. :)
actually a lot of things exist in lakorn land that shouldn't. I couldn't figure out how the couple in jlr and sawan biang and plenty others end up together when the p'ek was so evil but they seem to be big hits and people love them. At least here, the n'ek did not actually do anything it was an...
What i mean is that she has the image ( the public image) of being a bratty hi so or something like that, but she's actually nice and not like that in real life, which leads others (p'ek included) to misjudge her, especially when the accident happens. This is just a theory though, i'm actually...
Well if they toned down the story and characters, it's possible that the revenge might be toned down as well. N'ek might be shown as an irresponsible brat (not necessarily a drunk) who gets away with everything because she's a famous model- that's reason enough to get pissed off with her. There...
Thanks for the teaser. Yaya looks beautiful (such eye candy); Mark, Nycha and Toey looking pretty good as well. :) Fat people really don't exist in lakorn land do they? Lol.
Although i like Ya and glad she's trying a dramatic role, Matt Peeranee would have been a better choice for n'ek, actually. And for p'ek, grate or om akapan (yeah he's from a different channel); I don't think they should water the character down, but if they did do that, it might not be because...
I understand what you are saying- what i mean is, i can't judge the n'ek in the old version as well as others because i don't understand the dialogue. Sometimes it's hard to really get a character when you don't know what they're saying because a lot of the strength they show is through their...
Yeah, that's what i think as well. This is definitely not a feel good watch, it's one of those where you feel angry and worried for the characters. The chemistry between mark and yaya doesn't have to be perfect for me- but acceptable is fine. As long as i like the way their relationship...
yes, i think it's something in her face...she can act and has potential but she doesn't appear innocent. Maybe if she was playing a mean, vengeful n'ek it would work but in this type of role i'm not sure.
the production for this lakorn was a little strange, it's like it took a really long time to film, then filming stopped several times, then (from what i heard) it was rushed at some parts. Does anyone know how many episodes it's going to be?
I'm not sure how this will turn out but I'm just glad most of them (yaya, mark, toey, etc.) are playing different characters than what they're used to. I think yaya is better at comedy but we will get plenty of that with leh lub salub rarng later on.
Also, I'm not being mean or anything but i...
I like that lakorn too :) also, the lakorn with kob and stefan where she was a nurse - i think it needs a better ending that isn't rushed.
And game rai...i know it's too soon, and i like nadech and yaya's version but i'd actually prefer another more mature pairing in it. Pnang from the middle...
I'm pretty sure the p'ek didn't do anything to that girl but everyone blames him for it. He should find a way to clear his name up. Also, the n'ek is wearing these high heeled shoes like she's in a fashion show instead of the country o.o
Just my opinion but although Chippy can act she looks more like an nrai...i think she does better playing strong, bratty n'ek ( or a raeng nek like the ones chompoo and ploy plays sometimes) than a vulnerable one. I think the girl in the coffee shop should have been the n'ek here. She has the...
I find it satisfying when the characters ( the p'ek, and sometimes even the n'eks family and friends, etc) are mean towards n'ek and when they realize their mistake they have to atone for their wrongs against her. Also, i like revenge themes( especially with the p'ek)- it started when i watched...
yeah, i don't mind if p'ek is mean at first for as long as he becomes good later but forcing yourself on someone is a big no no and crossing the line. Btw, i just saw some parts in the older version of jlr (the one with john and ning) and I think it would have been better if the newer version...
He seems like a nice man and I am sad for Kim. But I don't understand that message- I'm sure Yaya is beautiful inside too...she just wears a lot of makeup sometimes like when she's playing a role, modelling or attending an event. Yaya has a baby face- so she can wear a lot of makeup and still...
It's funny because ch 3 doesn't want to pair mint with jma or with mario ...so she ends up with margie but now that i look at the picture again i think mint and margie look like they're in love or something o.o like, they look even more in love than the guy-girl pairings. Im pretty sure this...
Kim's mom is still alive? Or does she live with her dad? I've only seen pictures of her dad and her brother and sister but no mom. I hope the mom is by her side now that the dad is gone.
george seems to be a very talented photographer. They made a good choice when they hired him. I hope Nok chai gets to work with Yaya soon also. I think it's possible since she's filming 2 lakorns back to back so she might finish them earlier. i don't know for sure, but i hope they get to work...
Everyone looks great in these...i was hoping Mint would be paired with JMa or Mario but she and Margie are so cute in these pictures I can't help but smile. :)
Well I'm disappointed with the delay but I respect the Thai customs so I understand if they don't want to air this right away. Hopefully it airs soon.
But can it air if Yaya already has 2 (leh lub and likit rak) other lakorns lined up for next year? This one finished filming much earlier* than...
I really love the picture of her with the kids! She looks like one of them :D
She always makes what she's doing look fun, whether it's modelling ads or farming.
It's funny how Kwan's life is like a lakorn. N'ek works hard to make money but lazy family finish it all up and abuse her. P'ek (Golf) comes along and helps n'ek get away from influence of family and she learns to be more independent and fight for herself. That's what needs to happen to Kwan lol
I'm glad they're playing a different kind of role here. It's a revenge action lakorn, right? Should be interesting.
I'm actually glad Kim and Mark are starring here, since we don't see them as often. I just wish they'd stop photoshopping Kim's face- they make it smaller than it really is. Let...
It looks like her mom and sister don't love her they're just abusing her. She needs to get away from them and handle her own money- she earned it through her hard work; why should they enjoy most of it? The lazy sister needs to get a job. That 'mom' needs to leave Kwan alone.
I don't know enough of Taew to judge her work but I heard that a lot of her lakorns are big hits on TV. I hope she gets to star in a lakorn whose story I like one day, so I can finally watch her in something :) Also, her face reminds me a little bit of Aff. They both look good in Thai costume.
It doesn't bother me as much if this lakorn isn't hyped but I agree, it seems a little strange that there isn't much news on it. I thought most LakornThai productions got a lot of news coverage, and especially if there were big stars in it. Overall, I'm just curious because Mark and Yaya are...
That's a really cute gif! I think Taew looks good with most of her p'eks actually. Even with Mario - although she looks more mature than him, they were pretty cute. And with Nadech, they look cute, too :)
A lot of Thai actresses look good in the Thai costume- Taew is one of them. I'm not...
I like Nadech and Yaya a lot, actually. I just want to see different pairings sometimes...but I'm glad they are acting here and working with the amazingly talented Ann and I hope Likit Ruk is a fun lakorn. Also looking forward to Leh Lub Salub Rarng which looks really funny. I guess what I am...
Wow, that's a really nice post, patisserie :) I've always thought Yaya seemed like a nice girl and is friendly to everyone. I hope she stays nice and humble for a long time and not let her fame get into her head. In all her interviews she always has something good to say about others, she also...
I like the way Chompoo Araya dresses in real life. I also love her clothes in Mia Taeng. Elegant and very feminine.
I also like Wanida's clothes for classic old style.
This is one of the best magazine covers I've seen - they even included their dogs! :D
But is Nadech really carrying both Yaya and Hapa there? I didn't realize he was that strong- it must be some special effect...maybe they're not really standing up and the angle of the photo was changed or...
i like the way they look riding those horses- yaya's white jacket does look nice.
Also, i hope anne and yaya got free bags in the roger vivier event that would be cool. :)
I think maybe the editing is taking them awhile. I hope this can air soon though, since I usually like the LakornThai productions. I remember when YLC and MN came out, I liked both of them (although I didn't finish Majurat) and Yaya hasn't had a lakorn out for the whole year. Mark will be lucky...
Pat is really beautiful. I hope she gets other acting offers (drama, etc) so she can improve. Mark's hair here looks a little weird. He looks better when it's short. :D
I would like the p'ek of Wanida (Prajak) to be a stronger person and less afraid of his mommy. He didn't fight for Wanida and let the mom treat her badly, which is not the attitude of a strong person.
I want Ann to grow as a producer too. I'm actually not sure how good she is (I haven't seen the other lakorns by her); maybe she needs better script writers?
Also, since she's already worked with Mark/Kim and now Nadech/Yaya, it would be great if she worked with other koojin (Matt/Grate...
I don't ship a main lead with second lead, but if I end up not liking the pranang (as in, really hating them) it is usually because i don't like the n'ek or the p'ek... And when that happens i end up not finishing the lakorn.
I recently watched Wanida and while i liked it, i didn't like Tik's...
yes, that's why I avoid most lakorns with the name 'mia' in the title they always have annoying praeks. :D I think plerng boon will probably be a good drama but I know I will hate the p'ek already it's not for me.
This is just a guess but I think Esther might have strong connections, which is why she is getting all these lakorns left and right. I actually don't mind when an actress uses her connections to get better projects...for as long as other actresses don't get pushed down by it.
I don't know what...
I'm not sure how this lakorn will turn out but the cast looks like they are having fun filming. Yaya looks really happy to be working with Ann, too- make the most of your opportunities, which is good.
Nadech and Yaya are very lucky to work with Anne. I know Anne is Yaya's favorite actress. I hope they do their best and make the most of this blessing.
Yaya looks beautiful- love her crown, earrings and gown . Her stylist must be proud :) Also, Congratulations to the lakornthai team who filmed the lakorn hopefully all their hard work is rewarded. Those underwater scenes looked hard to film but they did them anyway :)
Can you tell me what happened? I never knew Mint's mom was forcing Mark to be with Mint...I thought Mint had a boyfriend (who she is still with up to now?) and that was why she didn't want to appear with Mark during promotions or something? Then I saw the article where Mint's mom said something...
Yeah I agree, I think some of the mom's make it worse when they do that. I think the daughters have no choice but to side with their mom but it really does bad for them when they get dragged into the problem. It happened to Mint and now it looks like Esther's mom is doing it too.
I don't think...
I think Prae (Fah's sister played by Mint N) in GRGR should have been punished. She went way overboard and still has a happy ending. I think if it was a small thing she could still be forgiven, but when you try to kill someone or have them killed that's going overboard- she should go to jail for...
Also, it's wrong of the article to always bring up Kim and her bags lol It's really not wrong to have nice things it's not like she's hurting anyone- even the picture is obvious they're trying to make trouble again they have a picture of Mint and Kim side by side with Kim wearing shades and...
Yeah I'm glad she still gets lakorn even after what happened. I just feel bad for her a little since the other stars like Preem, Bella, Mew etc are there, but not her. But if it's her choice not to be in the event because she will be uncomfortable, then I guess it's better for her and everyone...
Ann is good in pretty much all her roles. I think it's really hard to compare the lakorns because they are so different. I even liked Ya Leum Chan I think I might be the only one who liked it, even if it was not her best lol
Yeah, I hope they don't take it out on Mint. I mean, she didn't make the news article or anything. She's going to get it worse IMHO, she doesn't even get included in a lot of ch3 events anymore if this news article makes it worse she might not even get another project. It's easy for those to...
It's really sad because the four of them seemed like such good friends before. I'm not entirely sure what the fight was about but it for it to end like this it must have been something serious.
I watched the last episode without understanding what they were saying- it looks like a good lakorn anyway and seems to be getting high ratings. I think Stephanie is very pretty she looks like a Filipino actress Liza Soberano. Anyway, Stephanie and Mik need to team up again I like the scene...
Great news :) Hope to see this soon as we've been waiting a year or more already. Hopefully they came up with something good (or at least, entertaining) even if it took them awhile to finish.
I agree there's nothing wrong with owning good things even if they are expensive- no one is getting hurt and if she works hard to buy these things it's her business not anyone else's. I just thought the title of the post was funny is all. I think when news like this come out, the writers are...
They look really cute in the uniforms. Great to see them be able to represent the 7-11 account.
I just thought- for this lakorn Leh Lub they'll definitely have a scene where Ramin gets to be in the guys locker (when he's actually Petra) should be really funny. But I'd like to see Petra (who is...
My favorites are Kob, Anne, Yaya and Vill.
Also like Pooklook, Matt and Kwan but I haven't seen much of Pooklook's work to say for sure, and Kwan gets bad lakorns even if she can act. Matt also doesn't seem to get good projects often except for Ka Badin
Mai Davika and Nadech
Mint Chalida and Nadech
Mint Chalida and Cee (yeah impossible)
Yaya and Push
Yaya and New (that guy from ALTK) yeah I know these yay a pairings are impossible but it's hard to pair her up
Kim and Pop
Kim and Andrew
Margie and Nadech
Margie and
Kwan and Push (impossible)...
I voted for Hana Yori Dango. But OneHD can remake all of them anyway. Oh, I hope one of the channels remake Secret -that was a good kdrama. OneHD or channel 3
I must thank you for this post Pueng, it actually made me laugh. I am sure all of the girls are nice and down to earth, but the title of your post made me think of Kim and mint fighting in a boxing match or something lol
She looks great- she's a natural beauty. I think she looks better without contacts though, sorry I keep saying it. But her eyes are already nice as they are no need for the contacts. Also wish she'd gain a little weight just a little lol
Vill looks beautiful. Too bad her lakorns get pushed back they need to promote her more.
Maybe if she stars with Push they'll release her lakorn right away :(
I don't like the way they fixed Aum's hair in the first two episodes it doesn't fit him. I liked his hairstyle better when he was Harit in the island. He's still a good actor though, it's like he knows how to say things with his eyes he can really give a mean stare. Not sure about Chippy she...
Yeah, I guess you have a point there. It was weird for me at first because Yaya and Kim are friends, but if they're all ok with it then I don't mind if there's a kiss between Mark and Yaya. It really doesn't matter to me if there is one or not as long as i like the lakorn.
I don't think it matters whether they're married or in a relationship. Didn't Ken and Ann have kiss scenes when he was already married to Noi? I think it has to do with the actors/actresses involved. I think Noi didn't mind since she understands it's just acting. In fact, she paired Ken with...
I don't mind if there is no kissing here. Aum and Aff didn't have any, but had good chemistry in their lakorn so it's ok for me. They can do that angle shot they do all the time. As long as they have the sweet scenes (hugs :) and storyline makes sense- I don't want to see p'ek hate n'ek until...
Step, I believe Yaya does support Kim but remember, people have different ways of showing their support. Maybe Yaya supports her in private. I'm not sure what the criticisms against Kim are since I can't read Thai or look at the Thai discussion boards but if you're referring to what happened...
I heard they will film Kluen Cheewit until May but I am not sure if they will extend.
Hopefully by the time they film Leh Lub Salub Rarng, Nadech's hair will be longer. I hope both lakorns (including the one Ann is producing) will turn out good for all the fans.
Yeah, I wish Mint had access to the same good clothes and makeup that both Yaya and Kim have, also. It's like her makeup artist and clothes are ok...but could be better.
But she's really cute in the tomboy look though, and pretty young looking. Especially in these pics.
The girl playing...
Remember the scene in Duang Jai Akanee- the one where Yaya is walking around wearing a nice dress; Nadech is fixing a car then he sees her and gets a nose bleed? Wouldn't it be funny if they do the opposite scene here where Nadech is the one walking around wearing the dress and Yaya is wearing...
Congratulations to her on her award. I'm surprised Nadech didn't win O_o but maybe he will next year. Congratulations also to James Ji and Mark for their awards. They all look good on the stage.
Not sure what to think of the statue- but they can use it as a weapon if they like - it looks...
cute braided hair style :) :) :D. Nadech has been working out huh? ;)
This will make it even funnier when he has to wear the womens clothing- his muscly arms will look good in that red dress :p
Ah, ok thanks for explaining that i had no idea she was advertising the lenses - yes it makes sense for her to wear them i guess. i think she looks best without them actually, but they're not bad looking. i just like yaya's natural eyes more...she does look beautiful though i really love her...
Really sad, but a nicely made mv...I'd like romance scenes too, though they don't have to real kiss or anything (i understand this isn't as accepted in thai culture and i've seen a lot of lakorn i like, such as pngrt which didn't have the kiss scenes but worked out anyway since there were a lot...
i really love Yaya's dress here! She looks great... but I wish she didn't have to wear those contacts though, her eye pupils are already big and she doesn't need them at all. But I am really liking her look here and her hair, too. I think she gained a little weight and it looks good on her...
Nadech looks really funny I can tell he'll make a funny woman in this lakorn. It's Yaya I am most curious about. I want to see her act like a man it will be even harder because at least, with Nadech acting like a woman it will be funny (how can anyone not laugh at the way he looks :D) but in...
I think my favorite part is at 2:49 when Yaya and Nadech do that pose :) They look like they are having a lot of fun I thought they were going to start dancing on stage!
Yeah it's possible she's saying that to make him angry. I think the n'ek character is supposed to be good from what I know of the older version, but people think she isn't or something so she goes through a lot of difficulties. Anyway, I hope to see sweet scenes between the pranang later on (not...
Thanks :)
"Someone like me will get back more than that."
I wonder what she meant by this part...maybe she means she wants to get revenge or something? It could also be that Ji is defending herself and saying she's not a mia luang type (is that what they call it in Thai?); It looks like...
I normally don't go for comedy lakorns but this one looks good...Nadech is one ugly looking woman yaya looks scared lol I guess I'll see it they look too funny when they exchanged their clothes :D
Yaya's silver dress...I can't decide if I like it. I think Yaya carries it well, though. The design is a little strange I'm thinking the designer wanted to create something artistic but not something just anyone could wear.
That teaser is very emotional. It looks like a lot of characters are very stressed. Can anyone provide an eng sub for this? I'm pretty curious what they are saying. Especially at the end what is Jirawat telling Sathit- I hope she's defending herself. Looks like her n'ek will have plenty of...
Yeah, how are they going to air in May if Yaya starts with another lakorn in the 19th? She can't be in two places at the same time...anyway, I hope they finish this up first before LLSR since this has been filming since last year. Better to start a new project when you're finished with the older...
Yes, that's how I see the three girls also. You said it perfectly.
As for pairings, I prefer it when the couple look the same age, or when the guy looks a little bit older. i don't like in when the p'ek looks too much like a little brother of the n'ek. Of course, there are exceptions like if I...
Yeah, Mint definitely looks mature in that pic but in TSL she looked really young (like in her gifs with Mario) maybe it's her make up sometmes she looks young, sometimes old, I guess. Yaya is one of the youngest looking n'eks, she needs mature roles more lol. She's a beautiful young woman who...
You guys really think Mint C looks old? I think she looks very young, actually. But sometimes, her makeup doesn't look too good on her it makes her look much older...it's like her eyeliner is too thick she starts to look like an old woman. But in TSL she looked pretty young with the curly hair-...
Has anyone watched the old version of this with Johnny A? I just want to understand why Jirawat is being blamed for the fiance's death when it was an accident? Or does the p'ek think it was on purpose or something?
Hope the p'ek wises up at least half way in the lakorn, I don't want him to turn out too nasty like Le Jun Kai (I wanted this guy dead i swear I was happy when he kicked it lol). I prefer Sathit to be like the p'ek in Secret. That guy was mean at first but he turned around and he really thought...
That's a really beautiful thing to say :) I know I said plenty of times I wish Yaya would pair with others but still, I'm glad she gets to work with Anne and vice versa. Both her and Nadech are lucky.
I hope it's a drama but not too sad.
Sean/Kim
Sean/Preem or Sean/Namtarn (these two gals can act, and they aren't part of any koojins yet)
Nadech/Mint C (It just occurred to me that they haven't paired up yet. I don't like Yaya/Boy though he looks too mature for her.)
Nadech/Vill (Can this happen? She's in OneHD??!! They look great...
Hehe I actually feel bad for those who don't like Nadech/Yaya because...it's nearly impossible for them to not pair up it's like pushing a large boulder...so heavy you just can't fight it lol. Anyway, I'm actually lucky because I do like N/Y I just get tired of them sometimes. Also, I don't...
That's really cute :) I hope he and Kim get to pair up- maybe when she starts accepting lakorn again? I never thought of the pair but they could work out.
I also like themes where the p'ek is wrong and he tries to make it up to the n'ek (again, this is a common theme in romance) and you find this a lot in thai lakorn. Of course, sometimes they write the p'ek too nasty in which case it's probably better if the pair don't end up together...when that...
It's because of what I like to read...I usually read 2 kinds of books- mystery novels and romance novels. Because of the romance novels, I started watching Asian dramas since the stories were similar. I started with Taiwanese (Meteor Garden) drama and then some Japanese.. but those stories...
I want to see Sean paired off with a different actress in another lakorn...what about Vill Wannarot? She's beautiful and talented. Mo Monchanok is cute too, and looks nice and friendly.
You know, I think that's a great idea! I mean, ok so if NY are cast here I guess I understand since Anne has been waiting for their queue since forever so even if I'd rather see them paired off with others I can't be judgemental about it if Anne waited that long good for all of them they get to...
Yeah, I think the p'ek thinks she killed his fiancee but because she has status as a model or something she escaped the law and he's angry about it. On the other hand, I think the n'ek is sick and tired of people misjudging her so she probably ends up snapping as well.
I agree with this. I'm not a fan of this type of meanness either (from p'ek or n'ek) and I often feel that characters who behave this way need punishment lol. But in this case, the n'ek presumably killed someone. If someone I loved was killed by someone (whether intentionally or by an accident...
If the thing about Esther's mother is true, then it looks like she's a fan girl who wants a bit of the Push pie :/ Hopefully there's enough of him for every n'ek in oneHD. The issue I see is that most of the time whenhe's paired up, the focus of the lakorn is on him and not on the n'ek. I like...
Hi Zoe, are you referring to Kluen Cheewit? I wasn't there when it happened but did it get locked up? What happened O_o
I see very little updates in KC actually... :( But at least filming has continued so here's hoping we get more on that.
As for Matt...I'm not familiar with her but I heard she's a very good actress. I mentioned I wanted her to work with Ann because I heard that she's leaving the industry soon to settle down, so it would also be nice if she got to work with someone as good as Ann is before her acting career ends...
I'm actually not that familiar with Kim, Matt, Mint, etc. There are so many actresses, actors and lakorns I haven't watched yet so it's hard for me to give a full opinion on them...most of my opinions are just impressions I get. They can change or I can admit I was mistaken about something since...
Well in my opinion (and I say this as nicely as I can because I don't want to offend anyone) - two wrongs don't make a right so, while I like Nadech/Yaya (I really* do, even if I complain about it lol) I just don't think they should pair up every single time- I mean, at least take one year off...
I haven't seen this yet but I always like it when the good ones get remade (and I've heard DDH was good); but this seems too soon for a remake?
I mean, didn't the one with Kwan and Weir only come out a few years ago? O_O I also see a thread for Mia Luang and that seems too soon as well???
New is pretty lucky to be in this lakorn with Vill. I mean, he's baby faced and most of the time actors and actresses who have this look get cast in cute comedic roles all the time. In New's case, he gets to start of doing a serious intense lakorn it will show his acting skills better. If he...
I like your quote, it's disappointing when I hear these things about actors/actresses. Hopefully she has a change of heart sometime soon.
I envy how you guys can watch all these old thai lakorns I wish I understood them. Some of them look really interesting to me (like, I kind of want to...
I had no idea Mai was like that :( I'm not familiar with her but she's really pretty though, I guess she makes good eye candy.
That said, glad to see Kob back! I don't think she's aged much actually she still looks pretty young :D but this role seems suitable for her since she's already...
Yes, based on what I've seen casting young actors/actresses for very mature roles has been done since before. I remember seeing Kob playing roles like Prasok (etc) and she looked about 15 in the role. Then I remember Anne Thongprasom in Plerng Bn (and plenty of other mature roles), etc. I...
Yeah they should take a break of at least more than one year (maybe two years) before getting shacked up again. What is with pairing them up again and again again? The point of being an actor/actress is to work with different people not get stuck with pairing forever. Nadech has chemistry with...
they good good together. who is mint playing? is she playing nubdao or is she playing praorung? it would be funny for the p'ek to play drag queen while playing body guard to n'ek though
Thanks Rockateur :) That's a really good background info on the production houses. Sounds like everyone is busy filming several things at the same time and not just the actors. I have to wonder how they juggle all the work but good thing they can ask help from others.
Hi Step, do you know who owns Lakorn Thai production studio? I know it is different from Thong Entertainment (that one is owned by Ann right?) so I was wondering if the studios have the same owner or are they somehow connected? If they aren't connected I'm not sure how the scheduling would...
Yeah I'd really like Preem to be in a lakorn with Mark, James and even Nadech. She should be comfortable with Mark already since they are already friends.
I think Yaya might either be stressed or even pressured. She should actually be eating more when filming lakorn- I mean, it sounds pretty...
Thanks! I guess the leads are taking time off for the holidays. I saw news of Yaya clearing her schedule to spend New Year's with her family, too. Hopefully when they're back they can resume shooting. Really want to see how this lakorn turns out.
Well I guess what they could do to avoid confusion between Bua and Prima is to give them different type of clothes. I'm also assuming that they have pretty different personalities so that helps, too.
Are they still shooting this lakorn? Hope we get more behind the scenesand pictures soon. I kind of want to see video clips and behind the scenes with Mark and Yaya, to be honest. I'm really curious how Sathit finally falls for Ge. He looks so mad all the time lol.
I think Prima is cute but her role is pretty small here, from what i understand her character doesn't do much...she only dies and gets the p'ek really mad at the n'ek. Hopefully, she and Mark can pair up in another lakorn in the future where she gets more to do.
Right now, I'm more interested...
Btw, this is going to sound weird (no offense to Mark fans) but when Mark smiles in these pictures he looks kind of fake. But in the pictures where he's angry it looks really convincing.
Maybe it's because I know he has a temper in real life :whahuh: maybe that's why it looks believable to...
Yeah Prima is cute :) I hope she and Mark pair up again in the future, since they don't end up together here. That said, I'm hoping the Mark/Yaya pairing turn out fine also (they don't have to be great, but as long as they have acceptable chemistry that's fine with me); I'm just curious how...
I don't mind if they have a baby at the end though, it would be cute. Why not? I mean, they also did it for the lakorn with Mint and Mario and it worked.
I hope they do remove it! Yaya's character suffers enough. :/
Btw, that wig she's wearing is a little weird; my guess is that she's in disguise or something.
Thanks for the info. I think Johnny was really handsome when he was younger, btw. Jariya was pretty, too.
In these pics, Mark and Yaya look good but I think she shouldn't wear any heels when she's with him; poor girl is too tall for her p'eks lol. Also, I like the pic of her crying. I like...
Thanks for the pictures. I hope this turns out good, like in the level of Secret kdrama (not the plot- I know they're different and so are the characters what I mean is that I want it to be a quality drama), and not like SSK (the lakorn with Dome in it); Yaya and Mark look good. I think Yaya...
Yeah I wouldn't mind them adding sweet scenes and rewriting just a little of this lakorn just to make it better. Btw, your signature with Nadech and Kim looks good. I can't help but wish Nadech was cast in Buang Hong instead of James Jirayu.
For Kluen Cheewit- I saw a bit of the old version...
Thanks for the pics. I think Chompoo and Pancake look best here. Yaya looks pretty bad in the cover photo with the other girls- too thin and strange looking. They should have chosen her second photo, the one with the rings in her hand she looks better there. More like herself and not a stranger.
I like Nadech and Yaya but they get paired up way too often I find myself getting sick of them sometimes. I would watch a lakorn if I found the story interesting and that's it- I don't watch lakorns because of the koojins or anything like that. I do not know if NY are really a couple or if...
Yaya has a beautiful face but there are times I think she needs to gain a little weight. She looks too skinny in some of the pictures like her arms are so small- a gust of wind might blow her over lol
Yeah, I cannot get over how different he looked before. I mean, it's not wrong to have surgery but when I saw his before pic I thought it was another person- with the exception of his smile. I think he has the same smile as before, at least...
I feel a little mean after saying what i said...
I agree that the original is usually the best although this new one is pretty fun to watch also. I'm going to check the original out soon since I haven't seen it. Andrew and Janie are so baby faced here.
That guy playing the p'rai in the island in this new version...they need to hire him every...
The p'rai in the island harassing Pat...is the same p'rai in the island who harassed NangFah in GRGR lol.
Poh and Preem are actually good together; I watched the end of episode three. They left it at a cliff hanger with p'rai waving a knife at Pat aww :/
Lakorn:
I don't watch that many lakorns compared to others but I was pleasantly surprised by RLSR 2015. I thought I wouldn't like it and end up comparing it to Tik and Aom's original but gladly that didn't happen. I wouldn't necessarily say 2015 was better than the 2002 version but I did enjoy...
Yeah I think Poh seems too old to do the bratty immature male lead- he just can't pull those scenes off and I much prefer the parts where he's serious. But I don't mind him and Preem as much as you know who and Janie. I like when Poh beat up those body guards and Preem's look in the beginning of...
Wouldn't mind the ff:
Nadech and Namtarn (rom com)
Mark and Pream (drama/revenge)
Yaya and Grate (it's hard to get p'ek for Yaya because of her height) (drama/revenge because I want her in grown up role)
Kim and Ken (I don't think Ann would mind, she's a professional :P) (drama/revenge)...
Yeah I think maybe it's not really the age gap but how they look together- as long as the guy doesn't look too old I'd be alright with it. I think Poh and Preem look alright. Can anyone share the link here once it's subbed?
I'll check this out once it airs, since this is a remake of Andrew and Janie's lakorn. Poh is a little too old for Preem but at least it's not as bad as Janie with Chatchai lol
She looks really pretty. Btw this is weird but I like Chalida's nose. It's really straight and she has a nice profile.
This photo shoot is a lot better than the one where she was wearing that rug lol.
:lmao2:
I know I shouldn't laugh but all the comments here made me. Aging turtle lol. I think Willy just didn't age well. I've seen some caucasians (even luk kreung's) age well. Sadly it looks like Willy isn't one of them. He still has nice eyes but I have to agree that he looks like he hasn't...
All of them look pretty good in the photos! Thanks.
I feel a little sorry for Mint to be honest but at least she's happy where she is. The trio (Margie, Yaya and Kim) make a good team anyway. They should have another lakorn series like what they did before in Thara Himalaya, Duang Jai...
Yes, the Taiwanese and Japanese versions are my favorites also :) The Korean one changed too many things and the girl character (Jan Di) was really annoying. She had these stupid facial expressions throughout the show I don't even know why Jun Pyo liked her as there was no chemistry between...
Pretty girl. Extremely young though...looking at her she can't be more than 16 or 17! She looks too young for most of her p'eks but given that they grow up so fast I'm sure she'll make a better fit for them in one year or two.
I really like her hair here. I usually prefer darker hair, but the highlights fit her.
Is it just me but some of the pics look too fake looking- like they were photoshopped too much and they made her jawline/face smaller than it should be. I'm basing this on her other behind-the-scenes photos...
If this was a channel 3 production I would've wanted to see Mint Chalida and James Ma here...but they'd have to be college age characters I don't think Mint can pass for a high schooler but a college student, yes.
I don't mind seeing BOF thai version - in fact, I hope it's as good as the Taiwanese/Japanese versions. I didn't like the Korean version that much but it was alright.
Btw, how old are the characters supposed to be in here? Because if they're high school age then there are not many actresses...
Yeah, I think almost every character cries their eyes out in this story
Hopefully they change some of this in the Thai version. I remember trying to watch the Kdrama and it was boring. Although Rain and Shin Min Ah were good in there roles I just couldn't keep watching it - it was too much!
Yeah, All the promo material on him makes it look like every n'ek wants a piece of him or something lol. they saw him in that one lakorn and they all lost their minds :D
I feel the same way about Push. I don't hate him but he seems overused already. Maybe it's because his lakorns are coming out all at once instead of once or twice a year.
I actually like RLSR 2015 but it's mostly because of the story and because I like the original too. He was good in it as...
I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this but I find myself getting annoyed with Push sometimes.
I mean, I would still watch his lakorn if I liked the plot/story...and I really like RLSR 2015 (I even liked him in it!)... but Push himself when he does this cutesy flirtatious act and...
Well Anne does look old/mature now that she is older but she was very pretty in her twenties/early thirties. But I also cannot think of any other actress who looks like her...maybe the closest I can think of is Kwan Usamanee.
younger Anne:
http://www.siamzone.com/star/s/132/1/...
I am enjoying this lakorn a lot and while I like Toomtam/Vill, I think Vill's performance is what makes it entertaining- none of it seemed fake. Usually, an actress would be better playing only rai or n'ek but in her case, she was good in both roles. It's like she's this innocent sweet girl one...
This is my favorite hair color for Vill. I like it brown, but dark brown (almost black) and not too light. athe same for Kwan Usamanee. I think they look best with dark brown and not light brown.
She looks really different there...I like how she looks better in your signature, in the lakorns and in the other photographs were she looks natural.
It looks as if the picture was photoshopped to make her face look smaller, and she's wearing strange looking contacts. I know because I do...
Yaya looks beautiful in the bridal gown as well. I don't mind her having chemistry with Mark. It's normal for an actor/actress to pair with different people. Kind of like how Ken Theeradeth had the best chemistry with Anne, but he also had good chemistry with Aom, Namtarn, etc. It's not a bad...
I just saw the photo of New and Vill in facebook.
Well I'll try to watch this when it comes out anyway. I hope it isn't boring like the Korean version. Yeah, I think OneHD should promote Vill more- I mean, she can act, and she's one of the prettiest there (maybe the...
Vill makes a beautiful bride...she looks really good in these pictures. i can't decide which gown I like better on her, they're all so nice but I think the one on the cover ia my favorite. :)
thanks for the pics :) can't wait for this to come out; new and vill look good. Vill is really pretty, I wish oneHD promotes her more and as much as they promote Push!
This is an old post but this is the first time I've seen Catreeya.
What a beautiful pair of sisters. They have the same sweet smiles on them like their mom.
Matt is really beautiful. I've never actually watched anything she's in. I want to but when I read the summaries of her lakorns i don't get interested enough.
I'm glad Nadech will finally get to work with Anne! :dance1:
As to who gets to be n'ek..well, I don't want it to be Yaya. I mean, I want Yaya to work with Anne also, but she just got paired up with Nadech I'd like to see him with someone else just for this one. Not Kim either because Anne...
I actually wanted to see a different pairing, but I think Nadech and Yaya might be good in this! The storyline sounds funny too since it's a body switch (?) I will look forward to this. :)
I feel a little sorry for Nadech and Yaya actually. With Mark and Kim, it's easier for them because they are already dating in real life. From what I know, Nadech and Yaya are just friends and yet the fans want them paired up all the time...what if Yaya starts dating someone else (or Nadech?)...
I'm pretty sure Mark and Yaya are just friends- I wouldn't worry too much about it lol. I'm only curious how this lakorn will turn out since it's a different role for both of them. I think it's good they are doing something they haven't done before ( i think this is her first grown up drama and...
Thanks for the photos... I think Mark is having too much fun with the lipstick lol Maybe he can be nang ek and yaya can be pra ek Anyway the cast looks like they are having a good time. I wasn't aware they even made blue lipstick o.0 first time i saw it.
Yaya really is a beautiful girl...even with no make up on. More importantly, she seems like a nice person and pretty friendly, too.
I know she's supposed to be a model here so I'm guessing that her character Jee is filming a commercial or something like that. Love her leather pants! Too bad I...
Thanks for the synopsis. I'm a little nervous as to how this will turn out; I hope Yaya pulls it off as it's different from her usual roles. Hope this lakorn turns out to be just as good as RLSR, if not better.
I'm glad Push is getting popular but I don't like how they're delaying Vill's lakorns because of him :( I don't like favoritism at all because it hurts other actors/actresses potential. I mean, I don't mind that there are those who are more popular but not if it will affect someone else.
I...
Can anyone tell me where i can watch the old version of this? also, can anyone tell me what the summary is? im real curious about this lakorn :)
also what exactly does 'kluen cheewit' mean?
Yeah, but I hope they won't go there. I felt I was choking with all the drama in the Korean one...like, no end of tears for all the characters lol! :) I can only take so much tragedy.
Yes, I think they should have had Kongpope and Neung get together after khao yai. I didn't like how Thor came to ruin it lol. In the old version there were nice scenes between the pranang before the problem with fah, at least they had some time together...in here there wasn't enough time. But at...
I really like this remake! I agree that it's not the best but there's plenty I like about it. Push and Lily need to do other lakorns again I know that Sean and Esther were already cast in Ngao Asoke...so, I think it would be good if Push and Lily get a PNGRT or LNJ (this one needs a little...
I watch this not for Push or Lily actually but because RLSR is one of the first lakorns I've watched that I liked. I'm glad it's important enough to get remade every 10 years. I don't think Push and Lily are that good, but they're not that bad either...I'm ok with them overall. I think they're...
That's some impressive acrobatics right there from the pranang LOL. I feel sorry for Lily being bounced like a ball- she must be dizzy with all that
:D
He took her back to his home because at that time he finally realized he liked her. The older version shows it better- he realized he liked her the day of the wedding when she finally found out what he was up to. It was too late then but he still wanted to fix things.
Thanks for sharing those pics- Yaya is really pretty and makes a great model. :) I don't like her lipstick in the last one, but all the other pictures are nice. I remember seeing clips of the old verison of this lakorn- the one with Johnny and Jariya(?) but that was long while ago.
I'm really surprised to hear that Lily gets that much criticism. I mean, I don't think she's the best actress but I think she's doing good for a newbie. Her version of Neung lacks fierceness, but she's really good at the crying/drama scenes- I think that should count for something. In fact...
Thanks for sharing the video. I notice it's usually the guys singing for the MVs in these lakorns, not that I'm complaining.
I hope they don't change too much from the original. I don't mind some changes but not too much I don't want too many problems I mean there's enough drama as it is lol...
Will this version have the same ending where he looks for her in the train station? I hope so. If not, at least something almost like that. I think the pranang got a bit better in the later episodes after their characters got married. i actually like lily's version of namneung better than...
I think what I like about Tik's version of Kongpope was that by the time the wedding happened and his scheming was revealed- he finally realized (at that exact moment) that he liked Neung and it was too late then. So there was a bit of guilt there. I'm not seeing it in Push (he even looked mad...
I see your point, although I don't actually mind remakes even if they aren't as good as the originals. I mean, even if they are bad we can just ignore them and we will always have the originals- nothing can take that away. I think it's because I'm used to watching remakes. I've seen several...
I think Lily was good in that scene where she found out the truth. Not as good as Aom was, but still good. I think Push's acting is lacking though- he doesn't have enough emotion. He just has the same sneaky facial expression throughout the scene whereas Tik at least looked really guilty. Anyway...
I am sure the Thai version of A Love to Kill will be much better than the Korean version. The Korean version was too depressing and boring, IMHO and in the end there was no reason why the couple couldn't be together anymore but the script writers decided to force the sad ending and had the...
If there's one good thing about Kade it's that he's also nasty to the n'rai. That's one* good thing :D
Just couldn't help but notice that lakorns with 'Mia' in the title tend to have dumb p'eks. Mia Luang, Mia Taeng and now this one. Hmm...just saying.
I hope the Thai's make a series based on this. Only, with a happy ending. I haven't actually watched this series past episode 2 since I know it has a sad ending. I like Hawick Lau so I might watch this someday.
What's even funnier is that the guy playing the p'rai looks like this senator from the Philippines who's in jail right now. No offense to the actor- I am sure he is not at all like that (probably a nice person in real life); it's just so weird but I think he looks like that guy.
I just want him to get a dose of his own medicine. I hate amnesia plots also but since this lakorn is already crazy it wouldn't matter to me anymore if it went that way, then he can see what it's like when Fah doesn't know him and just stays away from him he's so dumb. :D
Yeah, Peter was really good in Le Jun Kai he got me real angry lol That's when you know his acting worked. I was also scared for Janine's character Ye Zi every time he'd get mad. His voice and face were very convincing.
I just started watching this recently. This is the first time I've seen Tong Li Ya in anything and she seems like a real nang ek all proper and harassed lol Really pretty girl! The last time I saw Jerry was in Meteor Garden which I liked so I decided to check this out. So far this looks good...
Sometimes I want to find something hard and hit Kade in the head with it. Maybe he can regain his memories back again :P
...then Fah will hit her head, and then she'll not remember him lol. What a disaster!!!lol
These pictures are really nice and everyone looks good! Thanks for sharing :)
Yeah, something about Chompoo's ring makes me keep staring at it. :shock2: :spin:
I actually think Film and Koy are cute together during their sweet moments...but I agree with what everyone says about the problems in this lakorn. Reminds me a bit of Sanaeha Sunya Kaen - when is the p'ek gonna get 'fixed'? lol It's past 24 episodes already I want justice for Fah :P She needs...
I don't mind seeing him with Mint again. I said in another thread earlier that Nadech/Yaya would be great in a Thai version of Hana Yori Dango...but now, I'm thinking James/Mint might be an even better choice. I can see James playing a hothead better than Nadech...and based on her performance in...
Nadech and Yaya really work well together.
I kind of want to see them in a Thai version of Meteor Garden/Hana Yori Dango. Although she's a little too tall, I think Yaya would be perfect to play the feisty female lead. Even if she's already 21 it would work because Barbie Hsu was 24 in MG; not...
Yeah I hated Yoo-ran. I felt sorry for her at first because she was also a victim but she was so stupid. I understood that she loved the bad guy but when he fooled her not once or even twice- three* times actually...and she still seemed to like him?! The guy hired thugs to kill her and what...
I've only seen a few kdramas but among those I've seen, Green Rose and Secrets are my favorites. It's funny because in GR, it's the guy who gets imprisoned for something he didn't do...whereas in Secrets, it's the girl! lol Anyway, this was a really good drama. I got real depressed throughout...
This is the first Korean drama I've watched and I loved it! There were a lot of things wrong with it but overall it was a fast paced watch for me. Great chemistry between the leads (even if they didn't have that many scenes together) and most of all it had a happy ending :) This series actually...
Yeah, I think it would have made more sense if they developed Kin and Tawan more and made them grow in the story. I think the revenge parts only work if the characters get out of it later and realize they're wrong or something. I think redemption is always a good theme that's why I tend to...
Hmmm...yeah I was looking forward to this lakorn because it starred Janie but I wasn't happy with how it came out. I already mentioned my issues with it earlier...BUT now it's all over, I'd still like to thank those who took the time and effort to sub and recap it. :) Really nice of them.
I agree that the actress is strange looking! I heard that it's because she got too much plastic surgery lol. Her acting is quite good during the emotional scenes, though- I honestly felt awful for her while watching it- how could any (character) go through that? :( She was actually way too...
Yes, I think that Secret does a good job of showing change in character. First, the male lead hates the female lead (in here, he actually has a good reason...it's because she lied and said that she killed and left his gf for dead in a hit and run accident), but since he's intelligent, he starts...
thanks for sharing those instagram pics! dome is really handsome. kate and mew look a lot nicer since they're not in nang rai mode ^.~
btw, has anyone seen a korean drama called secret love? i saw some episodes and the plot is similar to this one, LNJ and Ubatheehet.
Yeah, I don't understand why they wrote it like this. More time is spent on the other parts and couples, and Kin is more like a p'rai than a p'ek.
I think the best p'rai I've seen was James Rungsak(?) in PNGRT. I expected him to act that way because he was supposed to. But in Kin's case...
Yeah I think the issue is really about Mint- if the news is right, then it means she was being harassed for no reason for a long time already. If that's true, then her mom was right to get angry- I mean, it's her daughter so she's protective, right? I don't know what is up with that manager but...
Poor Mint. I'm not sure what happened but if the sources are right, it looks like his manager's are picking on her- I'm curious, what on earth could she have done to make them dislike her? It's like they have an ongoing campaign against her or something?
Mark's comments were awful. I think...
I like your explanation jeanie it makes a lot of sense. Auk was right- Crazykin really needs his therapy lol. I'm just wondering now how on earth they're going to get together in the end if he succeeds in destroying her emotionally for the first half(?) of the story.
I agree about Tawan she...
I actually agree with you janajelly. I love Yaya and all but she needs improvement in her acting...I think she's really good at playing cutesy kiddy nangek's but I want to see her in a mature role. Drama, revenge, boran, musical etc, anything where she doesn't appear like a teenager lol!
...
There was a scene in the teaser where Tawan is in a hospital bed with a bandage around her head. I wonder what part that is? Does she get into another accident later?
Yeah I think the problem is the script makes the character of Kin act nice one moment, then nasty the next. Then nice again...then nasty again->
It really seems like he's crazy/bi polar instead of angry and vengeful lol. It would've made more sense...
In my case, I don't watch the drama because I support what happens- actually what I really like about drama/revenge stuff is when the nasty characters (whether it's the p'rai or the n'rai or the p'ek) either realize their mistake or get to suffer later it's satisfying to see characters atone for...
Yes, you explain it very well. I don't believe in taking these things seriously either. I've been to Thailand and I loved it there- the people are warm and friendly much like my own country. They even look similar :D These lakorns are just show and not meant to be followed or anything. I...
Yeah, what's up with all the short skirts lol. I don't mind if it's casual attire but they're in an office and supposed to look professional- don't they have rules or something? :D These skirts look like shorts.
This is just my opinion but I don't think it's really the acting...if the script was bad it wouldn't matter how talented the pranang were when the story is messed up. I think that's the reason why people didn't like Ya Leum Chan (although personally, i liked it!) but they liked Sawan Biang, etc-...
Pretty disappointed at the sound of all that- they made p'ek too evil he might as well be the bad guy. Does he stay like that for the entire lakorn? It seems that they put too much crazy stuff but not enough romance between the leads- this is different from the old lakorns where they'd at least...
Oh no, I hope someone can make the engsub of ep 3 available for download at least :/
The lakorn is bipolar, notice how it becomes a funny comedy when the plot follows Duen but when it follows Tawan it becomes drama with a bit of scary. I think Ken would have been great as Kin - he can do nasty...
The plot sounds frustrating but I'll watch this for Janie. I also like the relationship between Tawan and Duen- they're so cute.
I find Tawan's ex so annoying. Just leave her alone already! He keeps following her around and that wife of his (who only seems to be wearing leopard print what's up...
The p'ek in Boy Pakorn's lakorn with Vicki was/is the worst and scariest. I took one episode in and never came back. Couldn't stand what he did to her, the worst :(
Hate Kongkai from Mia Taeng. I don't like the indecisive ones.
There are more on my list, just can't remember. I don't like...
I'm thinking that now- I actually just finished watching the subbed version. I watched the raw one first but couldn't understand. :D
Anyway, I'm watching it on viki and downloading from youtube at the same time since I'm worried it might get deleted. Got to be sure haha
I hadn't noticed that girl in the credits now I'm thinking that there's something up with that! Also wondering who keeps trying to kill Tawan. Too bad the ep didn't air.
(btw, Yaya is so pretty in your sig)
I agree with you here. I don't mind him being angry but hope he realizes he's in the wrong later. Tawan should not have gone drinking and walking in the road, but she didn't mean to hurt anyone plus the wife has always been a reckless driver.
Yes, I hope her character is soft spoken but strong- kind of like Arunprapai from Mia Taeng. I don't really like shrieking shrill n'eks with loud voices; that fits n'rai more, I think.
Tawan and her sister relationship with Duan are kind of sweet here it's nice to see.
I think Aum A was...
Janie is really good with drama lakorns so I have no worries for her here. Not familiar with Dome- this is the first one I'm seeing him in lol.
i just hope the other characters don't overshadow the main leads. I liked YLC but there was too much focus on Rita/Kong- I mean I liked them also...
I like the chemistry between Kwan and Tle :) Reminds me a lot of Aum and Aff during their Jam Loey Rak days. Too bad there aren't enough subbed ch7 lakorns, this one looks good.
Congratulations to the winners :) Yaya looks especially beautiful in the photos! And Benz...so glad she won best Rai award she was pretty good as Plingchat.
Don't be too sensitive about these threads- they're just silly topics and can be quite funny at times. I understand how sad it is when someone bashes an actress you like (I feel it too sometimes) but it happens to EVERYONE. I mean, it's not a personal attack since we don't really know these...
Mart - I don't hate him. I find him attractive, too :D But...that's the only reason why I watch some of his lakorns. He really is a stiff actor and I notice that his happy face, angry face and pervert face are all exactly the same when he's acting! I only watch him cuz' he's handsome eye candy...
Wow, congrats to all the winners. I have to admit, my mouth was hanging open when I watched Chompoo as Raeya O__O :D She so deserved that award she acted her heart out and shocked the hell out of me :D
She's so happy, gracious and polite about it though...
I would've voted for Ken and Ann or Aum and Aff (too bad they're not included on the list); though I like Yadech- I think the older ones are more advanced when it comes to acting.
I can't decide between Aum + Aff and Ken + Ann. Both couples are amazing- they always make me feel emotional when I watch their lakorns, especially the intense ones like JLR and Sawan Biang I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, cried at other times and was even nervous at certain...
Hi Cecilia, I'd like to thank you and the other subbers working on Fai Luang :) Wish I could help but I can't since I don't know any thai or video prod at all. Anyway, it's a great old lakorn and it's not everyday that people decide to work on old lakorns which also deserve much attention :D So...
I hardly have any time these days, but this lakorn looks like a lot of fun. I still don't plan on watching it, but I made this fan art on my spare time dedicated to the lovely ladies of Tom Yum Rum Shing - Chompoo Araya and Veerawan Phongam/Yaya Ying. If I wasn't so busy I'd do more but alas...
Yeah, everyone looks great and all but I noticed Chompoo, Ploy and Cherry weren't there. Didn't see Aum A and Ken T in the pics either (will have to look again maybe I missed them); what's odd is that they have the Tom Yum Rum Shing but Chom and Por aren't singing it it makes her absence more...
Yaya Ying is very pretty and talented...but, she kind of looks old for her age. I think she looks older than both Chompoo and Por. If she's going to play n'ek, I think maybe pairing her up with an older (or older looking p'ek) would be better. Chom and Por both have round baby faces, so they...
As a n'ek, I must say that Chompoo has a very strong neck! Notice how she always gets strangled by the n'rais (first, in Mia Taeg and then in Tom Yum Rum Shing- I think Ying will try to choke her later, but not sure since I'm not watching I just saw in the teasers) but Chom turns out all right...
That's true...this lakorn has so many characters with issues but it's very entertaining to watch anyway :D I can't wait to see what they do with this. I wonder if they're going to follow the original script or if they're going to change the story? The remakes usually change the story or something...
I like the sound of Samee Gamalor. I'm also interested in seeing how she is with Peter but from what I've heard, Good Feeling isn't a good production but we'll see :D
Ok thanks :) I'm actually hoping she'll not take Sai See Plerng because it sounds like just another Reya type of role.
Who is Tanya? I remember reading something about a scandal involving Pinky- is Tanya the wife here? If so, she has my sympathies. I think it's great that she's starring in this lakorn and she looks hot, too.
I'm watching the old version of Rang Ngao right now...and while Ann is good in the...
Wait- so in other words, her 5 lakorns actually aren't confirmed yet? Well, if that's the case, then it could mean more chances for other actresses, right? It could also mean that she won't be confirmed for releasing 5 in the year which is impossible, any which way we view it- they could be...
It's ok Tinah, thanks for the info :) I don't know how it goes in the Thai industry so I just say things based on what I read online. While I'm happy for Chom, I hope the others find a way to get more roles, too.
You make a good point here; I do sympathize with the other actresses and I'm not sure why they don't seem to have as much work.
One thing I'm wondering about though...if Chompoo were to get 4 or 5 lakorns, does it mean that Rita, Ploy and all the other actresses cannot get the same? There seem...
Thanks for clarifying this for me. I'm a little confused because when I saw the line up of lakorns Yaya was listed in here, it looked like she had around 4 (Maya Tawan, Prissana, Toranee, and there was another one I forget which)...I wasn't aware that these were not confirmed yet, whereas...
I feel sorry for the other actresses who don't get promoted enough, but...Chompoo isn't the only one getting a lot of roles this year. There's also Yaya and Nadech- Yaya especially, has about 4 or 5 lakorns lined up and she's even 10 years younger than Chom. I'm not complaining about that since...
Chompoo is really pretty; I like the picture of her holding the kid. Yaya Ying is pretty too, but she's old looking, IMHO whereas Chompoo still has her baby face, which is good. In their picture, Chom looks like an angel, YY looks like a true N'Rai. :P
I have the same taste as you then :) Older p'eks with younger n'eks for me. But not too old- I have to admit, Nok looked too old in Nampueng Kom it was distracting. I know the role had to be played by an older p'ek but I wish they got someone old but young looking or something. I think someone...
I get turned off not by the age difference but based on how the pranangs look. If p'ek is older, but doesn't look that old, then I'm ok with it. I don't mind Smart and Kimberly so much- he still looks young and handsome, despite the age gap. But I didn't like Nok and Janie so much because he...
This will sound strange, but if he has to be paired up with an older n'ek, then I kind of want to see him paired up with Aff. I want it to be slap/kiss or a drama, with Aff screaming her head off at him like before.
I've enjoyed GRGR a lot. Congrats to the cast and crew for a great job- they can now pat themselves on the back and take a long rest! I imagine they're tired from all the filming, even if it's worth it. Now, I'll have to find something else to occupy my time with. Are there any other slap kiss...
Despite all my frustrations with Fah, GRGR is still one of my favorite lakorns this year...all thanks to Charles/Saichon. He truly is one of the most romantic p'eks I've seen. Hope to see more like him around. It's not everyday a p'ek can be both perfectl mean but perfectly in love. He seems to...
That's how I feel too. That she's a tomboy doesn't necessarily make her strong. It's cute, but how she reacts to situations and critical thinking is more important for the story. If she gave in to Prae once, I'd be ok with it. but to give in twice after Prae pulls the same crocodile tears trick...
Yup, Fah Kwai is incredibly lucky she has a p'ek like Charles, who is so devoted to her, never slept with n'rai, etc. If she had someone like Kong Kwai from Mia Teng she'd realize the difference. Her blind loyalty to her evil sister is not admirable at all. When she walked away from Charles...
My feelings exactly. I hate to say this but I'm beginning to hope that Fah Kwai hits her head again and reverts back into being Nang Fah. I liked Nang Fah better, she was childish but a lot of fun. What's more, she loved Saichon right back. Seriously disappointed in Fahlada and her stubborness.
Guys, I don't want to seem like I'm hating on GRGR or anything (you all know I love this lakorn!) but I seriously don't think Fah is a smart n'ek. She's tough when it comes to punching other people, but when it comes to the relationships in her life, she lacks logical thinking. To blindly...
I feel the same way...I was incredibly affected when I watched Sawan Biang and Jam Loey Rak - the type of stories that have you tearing your hair out and screaming at the p'eks. Only to feel bad for them later. Aum and Ken were perfect in playing those roles. They passed the acting challenge- to...
Really? I will have to check Roy Marn out yet (I hope there's a subbed version online) :D Thanks for the suggestion, fun4fun. I didn't know Roy Marn was a slap/kiss!
I like the pic comparison
Often, I make the mistake of comparing Charles/Saichon with Kawee and Harit, two of my other favorite p'ekes. But now that I think about it, perhaps I'm wrong because they're quite different in spite of how they're all from slap/kiss/revenge lakorns. I think...
She did :D There was a dream sequence in ep 17 I just saw now. But it wasn't enough to convince her yet. Thankfully, the ep preview for 19-21 have Fah and Charles reconciling at last.
Amen. :D I think that while Charles has his moments of stupidity (mostly because he's so in love, hurt, desperate, whatever), he's actually a smart p'ek. Not once was he fooled by Prae, and not once did he show any attraction to her no matter how hard she tried to flirt with him. He was very...
I hope it's just the head injuries. I know Fah is young, but she's not too young to realize when someone is a big faker and is just using her. Her love for Prae shouldn't make her sacrifice her dignity and/or principles also. It's good that she's suspicious of Charles, but when it comes to Prae...
Like I said before, Prae is a first class idiot. Charles told her from the very beginning that he loved Fah. She had no claim to him whatsoever (never had), they were never husband and wife, much less boyfriend and girlfriend. In fact, she's totally brainless when it comes to this thing. How...
No flashbacks yet. But I think (based on the preview for ep 18), P'Mor might be telling Fah that Charles is her real husband. How he finds out, I don't know.
Charles stands Prae up for the wedding right? If so, I can't wait! :) Runaway groom indeed. Honestly, after watching episode 17 I can say the acting is very good (from both Yaya and Nadech) I just hope Fah doesn't play the martyr and realize who the real bad guy is. In this case, bad girl.
And...
Funny thing is that- while I've been enjoying GRGR so far, I haven't cried yet. The first time I felt teary (not cried exactly, but just had teary eyes is all) is during episode 17 when Plernta cried and Sahat handed her a handkerchief. I don't know why, it's certainly not the saddest part in...
I don't think they're haters exactly- they just don't see the big picture and are probably too sensitive to drama. They think Charles is being too mean and don't want to watch the lakorn anymore. But IMHO, they're not seeing that he's only mean because he's desperate and really loves her. My...
Hell, yes! Would love to see another slap kiss ala Sawan Bieng. Or maybe something similar to JLR. Oh gosh, I sound like a broken record. Love these two lakorns and haven't been able to find anything like it.
Oh wow, I'm gone for a sec and there's already 200 plus pages! :eyetwitch:
Will try to catch up on reading the posts slowly as I can't seem to keep up- shows how popular this lakorn is. Some of my thoughts on the previous episodes: I still love the slap/kiss scenes and how intense Charles is...
I really love this lakorn. I'd watch it over and over...I know many found Kob's character frustrating, but she is who she is because of how her grandmother raised her. I was mesmerized by her here- so graceful and pretty. Totally different from that girl who played Khem.
The Stefan guy is good...
I wish that at the end of GRGR when Charles and Fah are settled down, and so are Mami/James and Sahat/Plernta...P'Mor rescues a pretty girl from death in the surgery room and falls in love with her. And Prae is left all alone.
If she gets a happy ending, it would be a bad example for lakorn...
I feel the same way- I think Nadech is very good at playing mean, but hurt and desperate at the same time :D At first, I didn't think he and Yaya would be good at the slap/kiss parts since they're so young and so far only played the cute and sweet stuff, but I was wrong. They're very good at the...
Thanks! Am looking forward to the next few episodes. By the way, would you know if Charles ever finds out about what Prae did? About how she hired Yasa to bother Fah and pretend he's the husband? It would help him understand why Fah doesn't want to remember, and make him realize that she's...
Thanks for sharing that, SweetCherimoya- I'm very happy with your long post, as I've been wondering what's going to happen in the lakorn for some time and I don't mind spoilers at all. I just want to know...does Charles actually marry Prae? Why did he propose to her? Is it to get Fah jealous or...
I wish I could understand Thai so I could watch Dao Prasook, Dang Sawan Sarb and all the great Thai classics. Too bad they're not that daring nowadays but I guess times have changed :)
I think...I might find that interesting to watch :D I don't mind not being in my proper mind just for awhile...
Just one thing I'm wondering about- I'm confused and a bit disappointed with the R/willing scene. I understand it can't be too over the top and I'm fine with that. But there was so little of it and we didn't even see them get to the room. Is it really because of their ages? I'm not familiar with...
Yup, I love the drama of a well written slap/kiss. The best I've watched are the ones where the p'ek still shows love and fights for the n'ek, even if he gets mean sometimes. The intense scenes between Nadech and Yaya here are well made ...they get to show off good acting chops. Nadech as the...
Can't wait for this episode to air. And yes, I don't mind a mean Charles...for as long as he makes it obvious he still loves Fah and is just hurt or something. That's the best part of GRGR- his love for Fah.
I've been checking all the online sites to see when episode 10 will air, the wait is hard.
Disliking an actor or an actress and saying why you hate him/her is normal, I think. Although I agree that it's pretty weird if someone keeps coming to a thread simply to bash a lakorn because they do not like the actor/actress. If you don't like the lakorn simply because of who acts in it, do...
Chompooprae and Wattana were together for 10 years and she starts flirting with another guy she just meets, tries to pretend she does not have a loving boyfriend already and always accidentally 'trips' just so she can stick to Charles. What a nice, sweet girl she is! :rolleyes1:
She does not...
I agree with this. The cute island scenes are very much suited to Nadech and Yaya because they're both very young and innocent, it seems completely natural. If an older p'ek and n'ek tried to play it it might not work. I also think Yaya does the childish scenes well because she's still a kid and...
Yaya and Barry make a very good couple  And Barry does look very good in a suit. I can't wait to see them portray older characters in the city scenes. Very excited for the next eps!
I feel sorry for P'Mor. He's a nice guy, and Chompooprae dumps him as soon as she sees Charles :/ I really don't like her because of this, no matter how nice she tries to be.
Love how Charles and Fah meet on the road though :) I have a feeling the city scenes are going to be my favorite. I...
Just saw the first episode. Aww, they are pretty cute together. :D And that beach! So nice, really perfect to go for a vacation in.
I'm actually excited for the city parts...because I'm real curious to see if they can pull it off. Yaya and Nadech always play the cute, sweet couple, so it would...
I just saw the clip and the interviewer said it was like watching Ken and Anne, which is good! And the director is the same one who did Sawan Biang. :D
Not that I'm comparing Ken and Anne to Barry and Yaya. I think both couples should be judged fairly. I just want to see the same chemistry in...
I love the idea of 22 episodes but...15 episodes might actually be a good thing also. If the lakorn had too many episodes, the writers might drag the story too much or put too much problems between our couple, and just annoy us viewers. If they had it at 15, that might be just about right. A lot...
Can't wait for this lakorn to air :D Oct 28 seems so far. The teaser looks good...but does Saichon marry Mint's character? I read the script somewhere but I know he's not supposed to be marrying her- he only pretends he likes her for revenge, right?
They look good together- all three of them :) It would be great to have a lakorn where Chompoo plays twins and one gets together with Por and the other with Rome. There would be some kind of confusion and mix up in the middle of course, and it would be a comedy.
Tik is lucky to be surrounded by such gorgeous gals, for sure! Just one thing...in the first group shot, I really like how Yaya has her hand on Chompoo's leg- just above the ankle. Just a small touch I kind of find cute, is all.
Chompoo is really pretty, she reminds me of a Thai version of Angelina Jolie- something about her acting roles like in Mia Taeng and in Rahut Torachon. I haven't heard her sing yet, but apparently, she can carry a tune and looks like she's having fun. I think Por looks cute with her, actually...
This is the next lakorn I'll be looking forward to :) But to be honest, I'm interested in seeing Nadech play a mean Saichon here, and wondering if he can pull it off. I mean, he's just so young* and sweet looking and playful it becomes hard for me to imagine him as a ruthless Charles. So, I hope...
Thanks for the pics, Alice :) Yes, I hope Rome and Chompoo pair up again. This time, I want to see him do all the chasing ;) Anyway, I'm sad Mia Taeng is ending- but I'm looking forward to other lakorns too. Still searching for something like Sawan Biang and JLR but who knows- maybe we'll get...
Yes, Kawee and Harit will beat Kongkai up for sure- he's too soft! :D :D :D Way too soft for a p'eke, IMHO. If only Pai (a strong and ladylike nang 'ek), could be paired up with a strong and masculine p'eke, it would've been perfect for sure.
I agree...in fact, I like this lakorn only for Pai and Khun Ying. And even Prungchat is a good nang rai. But I cannot warm up to Kongkai. I know I said before that I wanted a mean p'eke...but I also want him to be smart*, which Kongkai isn't. He's mean, but he's too soft and weak. He can't even...
Glad to see KongKai getting a little bit smarter as the show goes on; hope it stays that way or better yet, that he gets even smarter :D that way we won't be so angry with him. Arunprapai is great as usual- always calm, strong and dignified, even when she's crying; she'll need all her strength...
Really enjoying this lakorn. I don't mind Rome as a playboy, but I don't like how stupid he is -_- You can be playboy but smart anyway, too bad in this version it's the opposite :( Also, when is he going to change and finally fall for Pai and give Plingchat up? It's taking him too long and it's...
That's true :) I feel sad for Pai right now. I understand that Kongkai wants to keep Plingchat around, but to bring your mistress to your home where your wife and mother are is downright disrespectful, IMHO.
"Kongkwai" really fits him then, if that's the meaning of the word :coverlaf: Man, he is so stupid! I must admit that I like mean p'ekes but not the stupid ones who are easily fooled by everyone. It's like he has no brain at all...pretty weak, IMHO. Even plingchat is smarter than him what is up...
I agree with your points :D I really hope the pra'ek in this lakorn grows up and realizes the error of his ways- much like Kawee did in Sawan Biang. And I really hope he doesn't sleep around after Pai leaves; it kind of shows he didn't change much
:( It's too bad that an awesome nang'eke like...
You're not the only one...I love Kongkai/Pai, but I think Proong is a very interesting character and I actually feel sorry for her at times. Certainly, her childhood and the way her family treats her has influenced her- but I also feel that since she's already grown up, she shouldn't allow them...
The others explained it better than I, but the reason the lakorn is well liked is because of how the nang ek reacts to the horrible situations. She can't exactly control her husband from being a jerk, and she can't control the actions of people around her or stop bad things from happening...but...
OMG I find it so funny how you call her Benz ninja lol! :D  I read your screencaps btw, they're pretty good. I find all your nicknames funny, like Mr. Villain, Mothermole, etc. I just laugh all the time that I read it.
Episode 2 is already out in gappkoo's channel :D This is the only lakorn I've watched without understanding anything that is said, but I enjoyed it, as usual. I'm kind of surprised because it seems like more of a romantic comedy than a drama. Wonderful cast, and looks like there's a lot of...
Thanks :thanks: Glad to hear they're not changing that part. So far, things look exciting but sometimes I wonder if this lakorn is going to be a romantic comedy or a slap/kiss type(?) From what I heard, it's supposed to be a drama w/slap-kiss but I guess it's too early to tell how the new...
Does anyone know if Kongkai and Arunprapai are going to have a baby later? I don't recall seeing any pictures of Chompoo in pregnant dress...but I think the old version w/Ning had a baby at the end. Anyway, it would be great if they did have one :) One thing I find interesting is that Rome looks...
Chompoo and Benz are so beautiful in this lakorn and from what I can see they seem to be doing very well in their roles. They should promote cosmetic commercials or something :) I don't understand thai, so I'm waiting for the english sub but I already love the scenes like the part where...
I don't mind age differences for as long as the P'Eke doesn't look too old. There are guys who look young even if they are 10+ years older than the girl so it's more important to me how they look together. I liked Nampueng Kom (Janie is very good in this lakorn!) but I felt Chatchai looked older...
Wow, thanks. It's a great teaser. I wonder what they are saying, though :D I found it cute how Chompoo was wearing a motorcyle helmet in one of the scenes. Rome hit one of the guys in another scene(?)- also found garden hose scene funny.
I've only seen a few lakorns and I've never seen Chompoo or Benz or Rome act before. I saw some clips of Rahut Torachon but not enough to have an opinion of Chompoo's acting. I've never seen Ben or Rome at all, so seeing all three of them in Mia Taeng is a first for me, and I'll have a fresh...
Thanks for sharing this :) Looks pretty exciting- I'm beginning to feel sorry for Chompoo's character already and Benz looks like she makes a real good nang rai. Wonder how this love triangle plays out.
It's good that Chompoo's character is fighting back. I like the last words in the teaser...
Does anyone know if the storyline will follow the old version with Chatchai and Ning? I mean, will there be a baby, will they get separated somehow? If I recall correctly, in the old version the mistress pretends to be pregnant, and then Chat and Ning separate but he really regrets it and always...
I know the feeling :D I was incredibly shocked when Ken put on these mean faced expressions and said these incredibly awful things, but I suspect this is also one of the reasons why this version of Sawan Biang is popular. Kawee was a main highlight here- it's not like you see a p'eke as extreme...
Sorry, I'm new here and am not sure how things are done exactly, but I want to make a request for the continuous English subbing of Jao Sao Ban Rai? It's already subbed up to episode 9 in youtube, I think- but the project was unfortunately dropped :( It's a shame because it seems to be a good...
Thanks for the information, Alice :) Actually, I don't really like Plerng Boon so much because he had a kid with another woman and I never got the feeling that he loved her. But I just loved Sawan Biang because I never got the idea that Kawee liked anyone else except Narin. I understand Rome...
I know it's really wrong of me, but I'm kind of interested in seeing Rome in a 'mean' type of role. He always plays the nice guy, so I'm curious to see if he can pull of a Kawee/Harit type of character. I'd be okay with a mean p'eke' for as long as he realizes he was wrong and tries to make it...
Actually, to be honest, I prefer n'eke's more demure and less sharp tongued. For some reason, I prefer that the p'eke be the sharp tongued, one. I prefer Anne in SB when she cried and was all vulnerable- I liked it better than when she was angry. It somehow suites my tastes more, but I guess...
Jam Leuy Ruk is the very first lakorn I've watched and one of my favorites, along with Sawan Biang, Lhong Ngao Jan, etc. This is one lakorn where all actors did a good job in their roles and there was a lot of chemistry between the lead couple- if only Aum and Aff would star in another lakorn...
Ken was very, very good at acting in this lakorn. Anne was also but it was Ken's character who really stood out and shocked me. Whether you hate or love Kawee, he really carried the whole show. His sharp tongue, his actions and whatever he was feeling- it seems to have been the focus of Sawan...
:thanks: As I said, they look great...like a real husband and wife. Something about their features (eyes, nose, lips) seem to fit well together. I'm glad they're almost done filming. Hope Rome's character here is as intense as Kawee or Harit.
Rome and Chompoo look really good together. Hope they have the right chemistry to hold our interest as well. Am looking forward to Mia Taeng...after Jam Leuy Ruk and Sawan Biang, I've been waiting for the next lakorn to give me the same feeling I had as when I watched those two. When I watched...
