Oh no… can I ask how old your father is? My dad is in his 70s and got covid in 2020. It was a tough tough time for him, but thankfully he made it through. Sending prayers your family’s way :icon12:

& a diagnosis of cancer for your sis in law :sad6: that has got to be one of the most frightening news. I hope they caught it early. Regular Check ups are so important!

@maimyang Thanks! He’s only in the 50s. He’s vaxxed and said he’s feeling fine. He caught it again from somewhere but he feels better this time compared to the first time when he got it from my mom.

Hope you stay safe and take care of yourself too. Hope both your father and niece have mild symptoms and recovers soon. Sorry to hear the news about your sis in law. Sending you lot of love.

@maimyang And yes, My SIL they just found out and there’s a lot of emotions going on. My bro doesn’t know what to do since he can’t be with her in the hospital due to covid. She found out she had a cyst on her ovary on NY day & lesion in her liver like last wk. She’s only 34 and deserves so much better. Makes me so scare for myself. Need to schedule a check up now.

2022 hasnt been good for my family either. We all got covid recently and we're all in isolation at our homes ...not really sure where from. I'm almost recover, my symptoms were mild compared to my sis her partner, our uncle and aunt.

@alissaax Thank you! Really appreciate it. It’s one thing after another for my SIL so it’s very scary right now. As for my father, he’s feeling fine. Will probs recover soon. My niece got hit pretty hard when the symptoms kicked in since she rarely gets sick but she’s 14 so hopefully her young body will heal soon.

@alissaax And so sorry to hear about that. Praying for a quick recovery over both you and your family during this time. It’s crazy how fast covid can disrupt our lives. I’m thankful the symptoms were mild for you, and I hope the rest of your family will recover soon and go back to being healthy. Hoping there won’t be any after effects. <3

It all depends on our body and how we manage the symptoms we have.. some of my family members had all the symptoms like fever and bodyaches and only a few were lucky they weren't bad only mild only experienced mainly headache runny nose and sore or itchy throat.. my two young niece and nephew had only fever for a few days

I had someone annoying me and arguing with me cause he was the person i had to contact for work that i was positive had to isolate so wont return to work yet. luckily we were still on break. We have a national protocol procedure and i had to tell him and explain to him so many times that i didn't require a day 6 test because i tested positive already.... so he kept making my headache worst.

Because he kept telling me to do a day 6 test. Im already positive so it would be positive. For close contacts if positive just isolate for 7 days. if close contact tests negative must isolate 7 days and monitor for any symptoms plus test again on day 6. If day 6 is positive must isolate another 7 days and if negative can leave isolation

He thought its funny that my headache got worst and i couldn't sleep after our day 6 conversation cause i have to give him updates.

So sorry to hear all of that. Especially, your SIL. 34 is simply too young. I hope she pulls through and recover soon. There's so much life for her left. Hope everyone in your family recover
