Whatcha cooking? HAHA. I LOVE Thai curry, I believe it's called 'keng?' Haha. And it tastes different each time I make it. Sometimes it's horrible. HAHA.
Amy, then maybe you can give me some tips. Lol. I'm making stir fry chicken with ginger. Lol. I can never get the flavors balanced. It's always lacking something or too much of another. My family is always on my case for not cooking. But it's quite discouraging when you try and no one tries it. LOL.
i understand. im not a bad cook, i just cant make it as tasty as my mom. its quite weird, i use the same ingredients but the outcome is never satisfying. the secret to my mom's cooking is never using any kind of measuring tools or cook book.
Right? It's like they do hocus pocus and bam! It ends up pretty good. I go by measurements. Maybe that's why American foods are better. But my mom and aunts cook by taste. I'm bad at that.
you should try putting oyster sauce and soy sauce in it?? Try putting sliced/dice peppers and garlic before you put anything in. Don't worry you'll get it.. Practice makes perfect
Oh yeahh. Lol. Minced garlic always goes in first. Then the beef or chicken followed by veggies. The next steps are tricky. We tend to use fish sauce more than oyster and soy sauce. I need to learn how to balance the sweet and salty flavors. Sigh. I'm afraid I'll be a terrible wife. LOL. Thanks Aymie for the advice. Sorry for spelling your name wrong at first.
