I don’t understand the rating war of Thai channel, but I do know OneHD and GMM are quite smart not to focus on it, they build their online presence more and they really target the China market, so their artist can be famous everywhere. Online is the way to go now, look at Netflix.

Ohh I felt pity for Philai today, I thought it was only an arrangement with Chai, but it seems they did have a relationship in the past. No wonder she hates Reynu.

I don’t whether to laugh or pity Mae Yoi in this scene.
Lesson from Reynu action, no matter how much a person loves you but if its through trickery you will never be at ease. You get what you want but you never will be happy wondering how long it going to last.
Because ratings literally=money. Advertisers pay the channel/corporation to air their ads during whatever tv show is on. The more people that is watching the programming (like a lakorn) means more people watching their advertising. That's the simplest explanation. There's some complicated details involved but basic story.
Online is the trend but online ads don't make as much money i.e. advertisers don't spend that much on online advertising. Cause they don't know how to tap into that yet. As soon as the advertisers figure it out, the tv programming side will follow. Netflix was ahead of the curve but Netflix doesn't depend on advertising money. It depends on pay-subscriptions.
One31/Gmm are the same company-owned by Gmm. They don't focus on it that much because GMM isn't purely a tv-ad revenue company like Ch3 is (BEC owns Ch3). They have their music catalog, concerts, movies etc.
I think I would feel bad for her if she had real feelings for Chai. But I don't think she did. That's an interesting question about Chai and Pilai. I think he would've married her cause Yoi's sons are obedient, look at # 2 & 3 lol.
I won't spoil it but the Reynu/Yoi plot line is pretty satisfying on how they resolve it.
I think advertiser are getting into it, believe it or not majority of advertising money is now online and Google and Facebook control almost all of it. If they build their online platform properly, they can have a slice of that cake.
What they need to is to do is start producing quality content and stop producing lakorn that looks like it was made 10 years ago.

I really enjoyed today's episode! Ever since Yoi soften up to Reynu, I've liked the episodes more! They all could be so happy! Sigh. It sucks that all that "happiness" is from Black Magic. I want Chai to really love Reynu so when the Black Magic runs out, I hope he remembers all the good things about them and end up starting over with her. I can't wait to see Yoi and Reynu resolve their relationship! I hope they make me cry, lool. Denkhun and Richy actually made me sad. Why is loving someone so complicated. ):
All the boys are such good boys. :') Yoi and her husband did well raising them. LOL at the two sons sleeping on the floor, hahaha. Okay, I actually feel a bit bad for Pilai as well. Everyone kind of just ignores her, even Tong! Lol. But yeah, I didn't think Chai and her actually had a past. Just thought it was arranged by the elders. Pilai literally has to watch Reynu get everything she wants.
I love the music of the 2nd OST! Especially the very beginning. It sounds old school to me and I love it! Whenever it plays during Chai and Reynu's scene, I love the scene even more. But did Chai ask Reynu if he doesn't come back, will she be able to stay or something? Meaning, if he dies? ):
Asa is too sweet and very respectful of Richy. I wonder where his love story will go now with Junta.
