Omg! What a day! Left the house at 2pm and it is now 2:12 am. We've been gone the whole day and just got home from watching this movie in San Francisco at the AMC Van Ness 14 theater. We went to eat in Richmond and then was trying to catch the 6:45 one but ended up stuck in traffic and missed the 6:45 one. So we ended up watching the 9:45 one. I can't believe we that we ended up having to pay $28 for The damn parking bc our ticket expired from the theater validation discount. Oh well, The movie was ok. It wasn't super funny but had it's moment where some lines were kinda funny. The good thing about it was that I thought Yaya seem real natural in here than in her lakorns and I thought Yaya has chemistry with both Nichkhun and Sunny. I wouldn't mind watching it again once the DVD comes out.
This is horrible, you have to pay extra for parking! That sucks. But oh well~ you saw the movie and gave us a review. Haha.

Yaya seems really natural in here? Natural as in no make up or natural as in acting? Haha

Yup it sucked that we had to pay extra for the parking. I think we would only have to pay $8 with the validation from the theater but it was only for 5hr parking. We ended up staying more than 5hrs. It was funny bc we missed the 6:45 one so we slept in the parking lot and waited for the 9:45 show. My bf and I was so tired. I was just glad he wasn't moody or complained about the traffic. Still can't believe we went through all of this just to watch this movie. Oh yeah I meant Yaya's acting seemed more natural in here than in her lakorn. Her makeup is also more natural too. She still looks pretty. Even my bf thought she was pretty. He don't know who Yaya is and don't understand Thai but thought Yaya is pretty and resembles Jessica Alba. Sunny looks good too when he's all dressed up nicely. I'm still hoping Sunny and Yaya would get another movie together as a couple next time. As for Nichkhun, he was cute but thought they kinda dressed him dorky in some scenes.

Hi! After watching the film and without spoiling it as much. The movie made me laugh, cry and I enjoyed it. I like how each character brought different sides to the story. Certain scenes made me cry and I really like Yaya's acting since its different from her past lakorns. Nickhun as 'Moji' is also cute. Sunny as P 'Chut' and Yaya as Nong 'Jane' are characters that you can come to understand, relate and like as the movie progresses. However, even though at times they don't get along due to the brother and sister love-hate relationship. They still care and tries to understand each other. :cheer:

Overall, the movie has a heartwarming touching story. I would recommend watching it and I would rate it an 8/10.:icon12:

Finally had a chance to watch this. This movie depicts how dumb brothers are and honestly, how loving, giving, and mature sisters are. I really enjoyed the movie. I have brothers like Chut, so I totally can relate.

Props to the cast and crew for such a simple yet touching movie.

I have mixed feelings about this movie hahah. On one hand, I enjoyed it, on the other hand I kinda hated it. I admit that I did cry though at the end but I think it was a mix of sadness, frustration, and relief lmao.

Yaya did such a great job in here. I always enjoy her acting haha she's so cute. Sunny did a good job but ugh I hated his character. I'm not sure if I even like his character at the end of this movie.

I think I just had high expectations cause it was GDH movie. I love all their movies and they usually don't disappoint but the storyline and the way things were executed didn't feel so smooth at certain parts and there were things here and there that I feel like didn't fit too well and made the movie longer than it should have been.

Overall, I would give it like a 3/5. Haha. You can watch this movie by just simply googling "brother of the year with english subs". That's what I did. I wanted to watch it with friends that didn't understand hahah.

Congratulations to Yaya for winning Best Actress Award for her role "Jane" in Brother of The Year movie at The 28th Suphannahong National Film Awards 2018 :clap::clap:
So proud of Yaya. She won Best Actress for her first movie and had both over 100 mil baths movies.:thumbup::thumbup:

Okay I don't know why I'm taking on the powerful fan lobby, but: what? Thailand's most prestigious award? This was a movie that required minimal acting work from anyone in it. The story was touching sure, but there was no deep territory touched. The stakes were not high enough for this, it was a sweet, sort of bland movie.
Yaya kind of grew onto me in the second half (the last scenes were adorable) but this was more Sunny's movie in term of character nuance, exploration, development. Jane was condescending and conventional and it did not move me that her five-minute romance with Moji was threatened by Moji himself. For all her love for Chut, she chooses Moji over Chut. So all her angst over Chut seems like regret that her perfect life is not perfect rather than genuine affection for him.
I did like Yaya, she was charming and fresh, but seriously this was not the role of a lifetime, just a beginning.

I watched this yesterday and didn't understand all the fuss. I actually watched it all the way through, hoping that maybe the ending is what got everyone. But nope. Just a story about a useless brother whose little sister always loved him regardless.

The movie was a total let down for me. What a waste of a phenomenal cast.
