Thai Lakorn Incest

I just watched Mussaya and i am disturbed with the fact that the pra'nang's fathers are blood brothers and the p'ek and n'ek gets married. It irks me with lakorns that have n'ek loving her uncles, cousins, etc. Like for instance Dao Prasook, Pak is related to her mother, Jun Euy Jan Jao, Jun Jao ends up with her grandmother's nephew, Ban Sai Thong, Pujamarn and Chai Klang's grandfathers were brothers.

I guess I tend to get through it because I don't think about them being related. I start to imagine them as a couple off screen instead and that makes me forget their relation in the lakorn. I think in Dao Prasook. it's better than Dao almost marrying her biological dad! Now, that's incest!

With Mussaya i kept chanting that it was just Andrew and Bua who are both actors. After a while i had goosebumps cause i thought of my own cousin.

Oh yeah Dao almost married her dad. I also hate it when n'ek falls in love with her father, like in WTL when Yui fell in love with Off.

I want Andrew and Bua to do another lakorn together. But Bua is busy with her family. I loved that the two fell in love in that. Made me want them to be in love in real life. I also want to see her with Paul again. I couldn't decide who was better for her between the two P'eks.

I've only seen 2 lakorns of Bua, i didn't like her in Thee Trakoon Song but after Mussaya i find her adorable. I love her with Andrew, I'm excited to watch Sadut Ruk since i saw in the preview they do the "deed" :w-scene-pop-corn:

Oh I know I get annoyed with these kind of storyline where they pranang r related thru blood. I can only pretend to a certain degree. I no longer like Dao Pra Sook after watching it a second time around. When I first watched it I was 8. Rewatched it when I was 15 and thought to myself why in the world did I like it.

Ban Sai Thong another lakorn where I questioned myself. But this one isn't that bad considering I was able to pretend they were not closely related.

There are a few other ones but can't seem to think righ now lol

From my understanding Dao is not blood related to Phat.(3rd/4th cousin twice remove?).....they even mention that If Phat wasn't so young, they would have Married him off to Sakit. I think it was the same situation with Andrew/Bua sorta...

I remember another lakorn I seen when I was younger and the Brother and Sister got married and had kids....they later found out they were sibling but they "LOVED" each other.....There was a documentary I saw on that...lost sibling who "fell in love" and later found out they were sibling...it was wierd yet interesting

Come to think of it, it was the "norm" back in the ancient days....they married their cousins and sibling to keep the bloodline/money in the family...

Nope the Andrew and Bua situation was full cousins. Nothing in the lakorn indicated that they weren't. The excuse in the lakorn was that they didn't grow up together and they fell in love as man and woman.
