Can’t get out of Tian and Muey’s world
I just rewatched the ep. Thien’s letter and his apology to Muey’s mom was so heartbreaking. He felt unworthy of her love  He just doesn’t know how to love and express himself.

I agree with you! Totally different characteristic from Novel Thien and Muey. This episode just feel like this is a completely different lakorn than MHIL.

I’m bummed out that we will be missing scenes from the novel. :crybaby2:
This just turned out to be those Thai lakorn cliches I’m like don’t make me depressed and annoyed...for now I’m just depressed

hmm, I think after all those years with Thien, she got the message that Thien would never love her, so she wants to have some good memories before she leaves for studying aboard, which is also something she wishes to do. She was ready to forget him but in Myanmar, Thien fell in love without noticing and began to treat her differently. There's probably no exact reason why he loves Muey, because sometimes love just can't be explained. Thien probably has feelings for his junior but did not know that the junior was Muey, and with all these years living with Muey, Muey is already part of his life. Then he found out the truth about Muey willing to sacrifice herself to save him, which made him very guilty and shame for not noticing her love and cherish it. So he left to give her freedom, let her go to study aboard, and sign the divorce paper which is what Muey was asking for.

On the other side, Muey already misunderstands that Thien not divorcing because he doesn't have money, and then he just left all of a sudden, with just a letter. Then she found out she got pregnant, which stopped her from going to study aboard. He then showed up all of a sudden again and not giving a persuasive explanation of why he can't leave her. Now she will think that he came because of the baby and misunderstand that he wants to be with her because she saved his life. She knows that she loves Thien very deep, and she's trying very hard to forget him by moving to a very far place and block him and his friends from all social platforms, but Thien shows up which makes it difficult again. With all these reasons, she was very mad when she saw him. Like she said, she wants like a 2 years gap of not contacting each other to see if they actually love each that much, she really wants to know if they both actually can see their heart clearly.

I think the p'ann and p'aew did well on changing this plot, and I actually like this change because it does make sense to me, there is a reason behind every action the character made.
i can see this... but now I’m starting to feel like Thian doesn’t deserve Muey lol

man omgosh, I did not realize the similarity. I swear, everyone platform is complaining how Anne is turning this into a SB version... everyone is complaining how disappointed with this change. They say they would rather prefer the book.

LOL I understand some people might not like this change, because it's heartbreaking to see misunderstanding, and we all thought that this drama is a lovey-dovey comedy-drama, but this episode made it dramatic. But with the previous changes they made like the one where Thien stalk Muey after being a spy at tada instead of the book saying Thien just left her there, I was so surprised by it. They made changes that make sense to me, with details that Thien has feelings for Muey, and the book is weird that all of a sudden Thien fell in love, and all of a sudden Muey negotiated with Thien and decide not to go study aboard.

Thian surely does not deserve Muey before, but now, like in this episode, I see that he is really very hard is to fix this relationship, he knows that he needs to learn how to love Muey more than Muey loves him, he went to apologize to Muey's mom and talk with about Muey to learn more about her. He is showing his effort now.

I actually like the twisted Anne made because in the novel Tein is very possessive. He won't even considering Meuy when know that her dream is to study abroad he won't give her the chance and forced her to stay. In the lakorn he see is wrong and guilt, and let her go study abroad as she wish. The only stupid thing is in his letter he mentioned not to contact each other. Why say that when you know you couldn't live without her, Tein oh Tein.

I see what you mean and I do agree. It’s not that I don’t like the change it’s just I’m having mixed emotions like knowing novel Tian and Muey would never go through something like this. they were sweet in the beginning but now I’m depressed. It made me emo for the whole day after watching this episode. I’m still feeling sad as of now lol

She did pretty good on following most of the book, just last 3 episodes for the ending was changed. The ending shouldn't follow the book though, I personally think, LOL

I think the only reason I could think of Muey not forgiving Thian was that she was always a placeholder in his life. He took her presence for granted and never paid attention to her. I think he was never mean to her though. Maybe he did use her to get rid of Yada, but he did feel guilty and shitty after.

I feel like Muey coming into Thian’s life always knew she was a placeholder. She knew he would never love her and she never really wanted anything more than just to be the placeholder until he is safe.

but Thian himself secretly loves her without knowing anything. His actions show how much he cares for her and his eyes speak love. But his words are sharp and sometimes hurtful in an unintentional way.

but IDK~~ ultimately I’m starting to feel like Thian doesn’t know why he wants Muey now. I think this is where the confusion is... like he’s just chasing her now, when he doesn’t really know why??

Muey also doesn’t really want him. I think she’s not showing much feelings either. Like she’s done with him? I was reading some comments, people were saying they were sweeter in the beginning. Now, they’re not really anymore lol and I’m starting to agree lol cuz IDK why Thian thinks he loves Muey now?? Anyone wanna chime in lol
I think Thien had feelings for Muey since they got married (or since they were in school if we go by flashbacks) but his feelings and thoughts were complicated probably because he had a very different idea of a woman he would love and marry and sadly Muey with her cute smile an unique ability to cause trouble did not seem his type and in the beginning Muey did not express her feelings either. In Dawei with all the flirting and another guy showing interest in Muey, Thien started acknowledging his feelings and when Muey signed the divorce papers, he was hit with all his emotions and he had to keep her with him at all cost. But unlike normal guys, he decided to keep his wife busy with reports and work (Should have given her flowers and chocolates and said I love you. would have saved him all the misery lol)

Also, after they finally get intimate, he is 100% sure that he loves her, can't have her enough, need her to be a part of his life through whatever means. But when he found out how she was ready to sacrifice his life for him and then probably recall how he treated her in the past, all those hurtful words (the bar scene and the one after they got home were like he was toying with her feelings), he felt he didn't deserve her love or that he needs to be someone who Muey deserves. so he left.

Arghhhh. this feels like an essay. Ad this was just Thien's part!!! I swear I don't think i worked this hard to analyze a character even for my course!!!

Yea, by the past experience, we can tell that he can't really express his feeling well. His explanations to either his mom of why he had "homework" with her, and to Muey of why he showed up out of nowhere were very unpersuasive. Which is also something he needs to learn through this relationship.

Exactly! He shouldn’t have said that. I was so sad when she pulled out the divorce paper and saw his signature my heart freakin dropped. The way Muey reacted was how I reacted. Idk my feelings are all over the place hopefully they reconcile fast I don’t want to cry any longer. I mean I don’t hate the twisted plot, but I just don’t know how to feel about it. Maybe because I read the novel so many times laughing my butt off. Hopefully the next episode goes well

Yes, his only reason is because he is her husband and he must do what husband should, the duty of a husband has two meaning you are doing it because you feel like you have to fullfil you duty as a husband not because of love and the other is because you love your wife you are willing to do anything for her and for you to be happy. Tein is very slow when it comes to love.

They could have added how Thien wins Muey back. Make him work hard for it but NOT do a complete 180 to his character! This sad Thien was so heartbreaking. I need his self-satisfied smirk and confidence back! Muey should have been angry with him and not give in to him immediately but the pregnancy situation just takes away from the vibe of this lakorn.

How I wish Thien could have just packed her back to their house, tie her up (he has done it before :p ), and made her listen to his confession

Everything Meuy said and asked are like slaps been throwing at Tein's face. He couldn't answer or said a word. When she asked him to answer simple question about her the look on his face. When he come look for and she try to run away from him after she wake up. Meuy was like aren't you the one who promise not contact each other, is it a real promise or what. And when she said I just asked to be alone just this little can't you do it for me, I know it's easy for you p'tien. I was like bam! that hurt the slap in the face with no hand been used. All he can said is I'm sorry with a hug. I pity for Tien but I also happy that Muey finally have some self love. I gotta said that Mark and Mew play it very well.
